Service was fast, and the Philly cheesesteak was amazing--packed with flavor and one of the best I've had. The fries were hot and fresh, and the portions were generous. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Tried this place for the first time today. Got take out because I didn't feel like cooking. Such a great meal! Their cheeseburger is a double smash patty burger which was absolutely delicious! their fries are fried in beef tallow and wow, what a difference! So much more tasty and crispy. Will definitely be ordering from them again.

I had to go to Lemmon Valley today came across Roy's burger shack stopped there and we both got a kids cheeseburger. It came with lettuce, tomato really good pickles and you could've had onions too along with 1000 island dressing. Trust me. This was really really good. Very small little restaurant very clean people. There were very nice and explained everything so it said happy adventure with a great cheeseburger and fries you need to go out there and try this place.

Heard about this place on Facebook, people were talking about how it's one of the best burgers in town, I gotta say they're right. The location is true to the name it's a small burger shack. Service was friendly, which is always great. We ordered two Roy's burgers, mozzarella sticks and some onion rings. The burgers were tasty! Hands down one of the best we've had in the Reno and north valleys area. The meat was actually seasoned, not dry but juicy full of flavor, veggies were fresh and crisp and the thousand island sauce brought the burger together. Totally recommend this one if you haven't tried it already! Onion rings tasted great, fried to perfection and not soggy like some Places serve them. The mozzarella sticks were also delicious and crisp. Overall I'd say if you're craving a burger without a long wait (took only about 10-15 minutes for all our food to come out) then this is the place for you. Menu is simple and to the point but what they do have they do it well.

Roy's Grill in Lemmon Valley off of Lemmon Drive. Check them out. The food is excellent! Julie A

Roy's Grill is a brand new Hidden Treasure just off of Lemmon Drive in Lemmon Valley. The burger and fries were Five Star, customer service from Chef Letty was outstanding. Roy's Grill is a very simple little restaurant but I can say that the food speaks for itself! Excellent! This burger was so big I had to take it home! Loved it! Come and try Roy's Grill. I think you will love it as much as I do. Julie A

We don't have a lot to choose from out in the north valleys area so I wanted to give this place a try. I ordered online for a pickup order. They had it made and ready to go within ten minutes, which is awesome! The burger was good and pretty filling, it was big! Next time I'd like to try the wings. They had their garment cleaner there when I arrived who threw the bag of dirty stuff out the door as I was walking in nearly hitting me. Maybe using the back door for that would be a better choice. Also since the building joined to a bar, the restaurant smelled like cigarettes

Contrary to other reviews, we were super satisfied and happy with the food and wonderful staff. Visited on Monday, ordered the mushroom Swiss, patty melt and a side of onion rings. Everything was wonderfully cooked and served. Very happy with the portion sizes and taste of everything overall. We will be back for certain, great little "shack" in Lemmon valley.

I've seen many ads for Roy's Burgers and decided to take a drive out there today. It's off of Lemmon Drive. It's a very tiny spot with six tables. Two employees in house today, a friendly counter person and a cook. The menu is limited but we went for the burger. We were allowed to order the child's burger as were seniors and can't eat a giant sandwich. And the child's burger with a basket of fries was more than plenty for us. The fries are delicious and they were generous with them. They're served with a side of ranch. The burger is on a fresh brioche bun and had lots of fresh toppings. You can choose what you want but I went for everything which included thousand Island dressing, tomato red onion lettuce and lots of yummy pickles. And cheese of course. The burger was very good and we were surprised at how tasty it was. They offer also a Philadelphia steak sandwich, couple other items that I probably would like to go back and try. Everything was served in about 5 minutes. The drinks are a selection of soft drinks in a refrigerator case. There are no fountain drinks. Overall great lunch today and the price was $14 for the child's burger which is the size of a normal burger at a lot of fast food places and the fries.

My dad heard of this place on Facebook and wanted to try it out. I thought not much about until we went. This hole-in-the wall joint is awesome. The service was great and very nice. The food was fantastic with it definitely hitting the spot on a quiet holiday. If you need a good burger that will fill you up this is the place to go. The Philly Cheese Steak according to my day was pretty good bun and all. I really hope that this place goes into a major restaurant in our area

Had the western burger, the meat was cooked well, ant barbecue sauce had a good bite to it, most enjoyable. The shoestring fries were okay. Will be back and trying more of the menu.

We came here pretty late and wanted to try something other than the typical fast food places in Lemon Valley. Nova was the only one cooking but MANNNNN can she cook! Definitely worth the wait. We got the mozzarella sticks, one Roy's burger and one Mushroom Swiss. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavor was amazing. Nice little hole in the wall. You don't want to miss out!

On this trip, they offered the Crawfish Etouffee as a special, coming highly recommended from all the staff, so I had to try it. The soup had a very thick, creamy texture, rich with flavor. The bits of crawfish were complemented with some grilled shrimp. All served with a dollop of rice. Delicious. My wife had the Fried Chicken Platter. The skin was crisp and full of flavor. I don't know what seasonings they put on the chicken but it was absolutely delicious. Now a risk with any fried chicken is over-cooking the chicken at the cost of getting the skin crispy. This was the case with our dish. While the outside was absolutely amazing, the chicken itself was a bit over cooked. What a shame. We ordered the Chicken Platter with a side of Red Beans and Rice. This was straight from the Bayou. Simple, delicious and perfect. Just wish I had a bigger serving. We also sampled the corn bread. While this too was quite good, the texture was bit to cake like to my liking. Not in a bad way, just different to what I would have preferred. If you are looking for authentic Southern Comfort Food, M&M's is the place for you. Even though our Chicken was a bit over cooked, we are excited to try other dishes on the menu.

The owner of Ruby Shake Shop routinely parks his Audi in the limited public street parking spaces along South Virginia Street directly in front of Raising Cane's, Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and the surrounding businesses. Anyone familiar with this area knows parking can already be difficult, especially during peak hours when people are trying to grab lunch, pick up an order, or make a quick stop. What makes this particularly frustrating is that these spaces appear to be occupied for extended periods of time, often throughout the day, by someone who owns and operates a nearby business. Public street parking in a busy commercial corridor is a shared resource intended to serve customers and visitors, not to function as a personal parking space for a single business owner. This review is not a reflection of the products or service at Ruby Shake Shop. It is simply feedback regarding what appears to be an extremely inconsiderate use of limited public parking in an area where parking availability already impacts customers and neighboring businesses.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's.
