You order at the counter, and they'll call you up when your food is ready. They have a large dining room with plenty of room to eat with a large group or on your own. The food here is ok. Their meal options have never blown me away, so on this latest visit, we just grabbed some sweet treats. A Dr. Pepper float, a fresh banana milkshake, and a couple of vanilla soft serve cones. The ice cream lives up to expectations. Move aside, McDonald's- Scoopers has a WORKING ice cream machine, and it's BETTER! The ice cream is so creamy, and the cones are huge. The fresh banana shake has chunks of real banana. Is there better ice cream out there? Sure. But for inexpensive soft serve in that classic diner environment, Scoopers is great. With that being said, the menu options are focused on burgers, with really one option for smash burgers. I asked for what meat options could be made into a smashburger, and was told beef only. I was craving a western style smashburger and as-is, the one option didn't fit the bill. I asked to substitute or pay for onion rings on the burger in place of carmelized onions, and my brain didn't comprehend that I could order onion rings on the side and put them on myself. I was offered to have fried onions substituted and I said yes. There's several sauce options and I chose the bbq sauce, naturally. I also ordered garlic fries on the side. The burger itself is two beef patties that are each smashed, place on top of each other. I think each one has cheese on top, but I was too hungry to look for that before diving in. There's enough pickles to be in every bite, and it was glorious. The patty itself was seasoned, but I could only taste the seasoning in certain parts. I could still taste the seasoning with and without the bbq sauce, and it was yummy. Bbq sauce tasted like bbq sauce, it fit the bill 100%. If you're looking for a normal sized smash burger, ask for only one patty. I couldn't finish the whole burger and I can normally eat a whole smash burger to myself. My food was served probably in 15 mins. I also came in before a bigger lunch crowd so that probably helped. As for the atmosphere, I really appreciate the booths and tables. There's also arcade games near the back, with a clear glass so you can keep eyes on little ones while in the main restaurant. The bathroom was clean, although I wish there was a hook for my purse in the bathroom. It looks like there used to be one, but it got removed or broke off.

They are light and crispy and the ranch is so good! I tried the white truffle burger and loved it! It was borderline too much truffle for me, but that's just a personal thing. As with anything, I strongly encourage everyone to try it for themselves. And the Bella stack from a separate visit easily moved to my top favorite. I almost didn't get it because I thought I would miss the flavor of the burger patty with onions and cheese, nope! I didn't miss it at all! The Bella stack has one of the thickest portobello mushrooms I've ever seen in my life. It is marinated in this beautiful balsamic reduction (that was almost too much on that to by the way, but if anything just order some on the side) It was a flavor that stayed with me for awhile after lunch and it was delightful. Also, I'm a big fan of pesto, which is another reason I had to try the Bella stack. One of the sandwiches I can't wait to try next is the big dippa (similar to a French dip). They also charged me a processing fee for a debit card which is illegal,they can charge for a credit card ,not debit. When I said something to the owner she said she price difference was due to their food cost,which I understand but that should told before you order the food As for the processing fee, she told me they charge that to everyone that uses a card. When I said that was illegal to do she said than don't come back again which I have no intention in doing. I'm sure this is not an isolated issue so please pay attention to the prices very carefully. Good by themselves or pair well with any dip. Maybe next time I'll try them loaded. The containers they use are compostable and their generator isn't as loud as some others. Overall, this is a pretty solid choice for a meal.

They obviously just took the tomatoes off and sent it back out since her lips started swelling half way through the meal. After we got home an hour later my girlfriend had a severe stomach ache and threw up violently for about 15 minutes. Our server was one of the worst servers I've ever had. I regret that I gave her $5 on a $45 tab. I'm a bartender at a restaurant and have been in the industry for 10 years. It took over ten minutes to get water ( a nice lady came by ). Finally after AT LEAST 15-20 mins our server came by and talked to us for the first time and took our order. She specifically asked my girlfriend if she wanted her chocolate milk with everything or before, she answered before. My girlfriend asked for no tomatoes on the avocado toast since she has a mild allergy. Things that went wrong: - Server walked by numerous times ( no chocolate milk ) - Food took a long time ( not the biggest deal to me ) - The food runner came out with what looked like my exact order except it had hash browns instead of home fries, walked right past us, tried to deliver it to the table next to us. Complained about table numbers to the guests at that table then went on to try and give it to another table then gave up and went back to the kitchen - 5 mins later, still no food or chocolate milk - Server sees us and says she'll go get chocolate milk - Food finally gets delivered, we are missing the avocado toast, the server said she is having them remake it because they accidentally put tomatoes on it ( we say okay and aren't worried about it ) server also says to my girlfriend, "I'm just not sure how picky you are so I'm having them remake it" as she walks away. This kind of stunned my girlfriend. My order, the steak and eggs had hash browns after all. I didn't really care so I didn't say anything, no one checked in on us anyways. There was a smear of something red on my plate the size of a thumb. My dish had nothing red on it so obviously the food runner wasn't wiping off her hands. - hash browns were burnt black underneath - there was no spoon with the cottage cheese, my girlfriend ate it with her fork while waiting for the rest. - the avocado toast arrives, no toppings at all on it, again dropped off in a rush, my girlfriend told me it was supposed to have onions on it. She decides to eat it since no one checked in on us. - half way through both our dishes, chocolate milk finally gets delivered by our server, she kind of slammed it onto the table, avoided looking at us, didn't say anything, literally her head turned the other way and walked away in a rush. - my girlfriend says she thinks they just took the tomatoes off the avocado toast when she was half way through because her lips start having a reaction. She also says it tasted sour. I tasted it and also confirmed that it was likely avocados that were under ripe. - another server randomly comes by and slams two dishes onto our table, complaining about how hot the plates were, then readjusting her hands before taking the food to another table. - it was actually comical how bad all the staff were - our server closes out the table next to us, they complain about something, the server response is that they lost 2 chefs in the past couple days - server comes by after I'm done with my plate and gives us the bill - we both want to get out of there so I pay. The server then tries to chat with us briefly as I'm paying (not about our food or experience) Where was this service and attention during our entire meal?? I know she wasn't that busy because I could view the entire section as well as the server station where she was most the time. - my water never got refilled I left thirsty - we leave and go hang out at The Hub by the river, an hour later my girlfriend starts to get a really bad stomach ache. We go home and she starts throwing up violently in the bathroom. She didn't eat anything before and felt fine before we ate. We are not sure if it was the tomatoes or the avocados being under ripe or a combination of both. Long story short we are not going back for at least a couple years.
