Great food, great service, it's usually not very packed in here so that's always nice. I would recommend if you're downtown sparks

Staying at the Golden Nugget for a conference and decided we needed to get dinner offsite when we stumbled on this amazing burger joint. The food was delicious and the onion rings, made from red onions and hand dipped were incredible. The March burger special was inspired- with micro greens, avocado and a lime cilantro sauce that was exceptional. Everything was cooked to utter perfection and the staff was amazingly friendly.

A couple of my friends surprised me with a belated Birthday dinner and a movie. We went to Burger NV, it recently opened in Sparks right by the Victorian Galaxy theater. The pastrami burger was killer and so were the fries the portions are big. I tried one of my friend's onion rings, they were super crunchy, but a little too much grease for my liking. They have a bar there with coors lite beer special $10 for a pitcher. Also bucket beer specials. You can sit at the bar and watch TV. The place is fairly big with outdoor seating in the summer time. Too cold for that now, but it was nice and cozy in the restaurant while we ate our burgers. The staff are friendly and they brought out our drinks and burgers to us after ordering from counter. You might think the price is a little expensive, but it's worth it.

Staff were friendly and it had all the vibes of a casual burger joint. Service was very slow as they were busy for a concert and not enough staff to met demand. We were told it would be 45-50 minutes to get food and we were ok with that, however when it became 1.5 hours and no updates it was a little frustrating. Once our food arrived it was good, but the fries were so salty we didn't eat many and we had to eat fast to make the concert we were attending. I had bbq bacon sliders and was asked if all the toppings were ok. I had asked for no onions, assured there were no onions on it, and was surprised when it had onion rings on them. I took them off and enjoyed the sliders. My husband has the chicken Philly sandwich and said it was good. All in all it fit our needs, but probably will make a different choice in the future

Burgers and fried pickles were really good! Service was excellent.. staff was very friendly and kind

Second spot for this family owned restaurant. So happy they're in Sparks! Best burgers with all the fixings. I didn't get the fish and chips this time but it's my absolute favorite dish in the menu, Service is fantastic and most of all authentic. Definitely a lot of homegrown pride is instilled into this establishment.

Needed a burger and this was new and near home. Ordered mushroom Swiss, jalapeño burger, garlic fries, and onion rings. Jalapeño burger 5/10 the breading was a bit too much for my liking. Burger was cooked well done. I should have told them medium. Got good kick. Mushroom Swiss 7/10 simple and what was expected. Nothing crazy. Onion rings are normally my favorite but this type was not my cup of tea. 2/10 there was so much batter and it was massive for that reason.. And they used purple onions Garlic fries 7/10. Service was great, shout out Dakota. She was nice and courteous. Honestly service saved them. I'm a big burger person so I'll grade hard. Maybe do a brioche egg bun? Less breading would be good. Great location though, and the inside decor was what I liked

I wanted a Cheesesteak, but the food truck that supposed to be at Baldini's did not show due to weather. So, I ended up at Burger NV. Surprisingly, there was no customers in there. Anyway, I ordered a Cheesesteak, Sweet Potato Fries, and a Sprite. The fries were hot, fresh, crunchy on the outside but pillows on the inside . The Cheesesteak was delicious ! I enjoyed the music playing. Staff was nice too.

This restaurant really surprised me with their excellent service and great food. The young kid taking our order was exceptionally helpful and kind. The food was made to order and tasted great. The cocktails were good and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

No option for having some pink in your meat

This restaurant moved in after a Mexican restaurant failed in this location. We gave it a try due to the convenient location in relation to where we were staying at the nugget. If you want a sit down restaurant where they seat you and come to your table and give good service this isn't the place for you. You order first and are expected to tip before knowing if the food is even good. My wife had the jalapeño burger and I had the bacon burger. As other reviews stated they both were dry with no option to ask for medium rare. I ordered onion rings and was charged a dollar and 25 cents for a small Dixie cup of ranch. The onion rings were large and properly fried. The garlic fries were good and properly cooked. Also the burgers are over 17 dollars each for something that tastes like they bbqd Walmart frozen burgers. The person taking our order was nice and did check on us during the meal. If this restaurant seeks to survive I would recommend the following: Seat customers and take their order at the table. Have an option for having some pink in the burger. Don't charge over a dollar for ranch that costs you ten cents at the most. Finally for the love of God, wipe down your tables better. Almost every table had crumbs and sauce from previous guests on them. Good luck.

I'm still going down a long list of burger places to compare. Beefy's is my 5th place to try…read more Local spot with character and plenty of seating inside and out with the combo of bar+bus+picnic tables. Lots of fans including mist fan outside to fight the heat. Bus feels spacious but seating is a bit cramped with tiny metal bench seats. Service was great but the place wasn't busy at all on a weekday mid afternoon after the typical lunch period. I noticed quite a few reviews mentioned the prices were high. And when I got the bill for $60 for two people with tax and tip I might have agreed, at first, especially if my main repeat burger joints were In-n-out/Wendy's/Jack-n-Box. But comparing to those places is not apples-to-apples. It's 1/3 lbs patties here (70% more than the just below 1/4 lbs of meat you get on a Double Double) and quite a step up in meat quality from those chains. About $16+ for single patty burger and $20+ for double, but that also includes fries and a drink. I get the feeling people complaining about the prices have to be burger addicts with the review perspective of a frequent In-n-Out patron which allows getting your "fix" more frequently on the average budget. Burger is high quality all around and they cooked them actually medium rare as ordered. Many places don't give a cook temp option or still overcook. Fries were great, better than the freezer burnt airy texture of In-n-Out. My only criticism is both the fries and the patty had too much salt but not to an inedible point. A common occurrence though given the cook's and/or typical frequent fast food eater's salt-desensitized palate. So Beefy's ties at #2 with The Parlor sitting between my #1 Royce and #3 Archie's, then #4 Juicy's. Armando & Sons and Barrio Burger are next.

For starters, the food is decent…read more With that said, if you advertise Happy Hour prices, they should be honored. I went specifically for the Happy Hour wings, and when I received the check, the price didn't reflect the amount stated on the menu. I asked to speak with the owner, and instead of correcting it, she told me she gave me a quarter off and, with a smug smile, said, "Thank you very much." Sorry, lady, but your food isn't that great for you to be so confidently rude. In addition, this was my second visit this week. I only returned because my sister loves chicken wings, and because of the advertised "Happy Hour" price, I decided to give them another try. We also ordered a plain burger to go with just cheese, and when I got home, it was loaded with all the fixings, including sauce. I called several times to have the issue addressed, but no one answered. When I told the servers about the situation during this visit, instead of trying to make it right, they gave me a half-hearted apology. So yes, the food might be diner decent, but the owner's attitude and the poor service make the entire experience worse. I've worked in customer service for over 30 years, and not once have I treated a paying customer the way I was just treated. And if they want to respond to this review to justify their shitty service, great. Go for it. I was polite the entire time. All I asked was to be heard, for their advertised pricing to be honored, and for some basic appreciation for my business by simply making things right. Instead, the owner insultingly put two quarters on the table, as if 50 cents somehow made up for the $8-$9 difference we were being overcharged. It didn't. If anything, it made an already frustrating situation feel even more dismissive. And it really was an easy fix. If they couldn't adjust the Happy Hour pricing for whatever reason, she could have easily taken the $18 pastrami sandwich off the bill to make up for both the pricing discrepancy and the incorrect order we received during our previous visit just two days earlier. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was asking for an owner to recognize that her restaurant had made mistakes on two separate visits and make a genuine effort to correct them. In a city full of burger options, she had an opportunity to turn a negative experience into a positive one and potentially make lasting customers out of my family and me. Instead, she chose to be dismissive, smug, and rude over something that could have been resolved in a matter of minutes. That tells me everything I need to know about how she values her customers.

The chopped pork and brisket were okay, but we thought a lot of the flavor was carried from the BBQ sauce instead of the meat. The decor inside has that BBQ joint feel with some nice pig paraphernalia and Nevafa stuff. Shayla our server was very nice and courteous and made us feel right at home. My only critique involves another server who seemed very chatty with a couple who sat next to our table. She was talking with them a lot. She also made a comment after she noticed me taking photos of the inside saying "you can easily spot out the first timers." I think that's something a server should keep to themselves instead of mentioning it out loud. But that's me. I would've given this review 3.5 stars if I could just for that. But I'm giving it 4 because everything else was excellent. Would definitely come back again.

Yes, the brisket was actually INEDIBLE! It was dry, tough, rubbery, tasteless. The only way I could even power a couple of bites down was soaking it in the BBQ sauce. At least the chicken I had with it was moist and had SOME flavor. I had the grits and cheddar as one side and it's like they put them in a food processor. Grits should be gritty, not smooth like paste ( I promise I don't eat paste). The Costco applesauce was the best thing I had. We literally had to go out to lunch again.
