The restaurant is under new management. Joyce and her team are absolutely amazing! I know how to cook, so the food is always delicious, haha. The options of meat are good. A wide variety is available to choose from. The seating is comfortable, and the smoke fans positioned over each booth create an excellent experience. A person will not leave the restaurant smelling like food or smoke.

Very disappointed in the place. When we walked in and saw the automated servers my daughter asked if they actually used them and the host rudely said "yeah of course we do!" We told them that this was our first time doing Korean BBQ. The host sat us and didn't give us any instructions, we just had to figure it out ourselves. Some of the meat was bad and we couldn't even eat it. When I complained while checking out, the girl at the counter didn't even apologize or seem concerned. We paid $230 for 5 people DEFINITELY will not recommend or come back.

The customer service is good and awesome and the place as always is great. Just the food. They run out of food. Ugh no gob Chang or hi mul luck. They told us the gob Chang will be ready in 20 minutes and it's been an hour still no gob Chang. I'm disappointed. But we come here quite often. I hope next time we will get the dinner stuff.

Tri tip bulgogi on the grill and miso/spicy pork belly on the side waiting to go on the grill next.

Amazing food and fun robot service that helps bring your order for an easy non-stop bbq experience. Owner is always super friendly and the staff is very helpful. The price is a little steep, but the quality and amount of food is well worth it. They offer all you can eat appetizers and meat ranging from chicken, seafood, pork and beef. We come here several times a year and love the tri tip bulgogi and miso/spicy pork belly. Definitely come hungry and I would recommend checking it out.

The server kinda overcooked the meat a bit. Except for the beef brisket, the rest were pretty solid. The grilled cold noodles were fire! Kimchi fried rice? Eh, you can skip it. Probably the best meal I had in Phoenix. Around $50 per person

11/24/23 1st timer . Read many reviews before decision for here. It wasn't too busy for a Friday night but there was a big party for 14. We only had 5 lol. We were seated within 10min. Ordered Brisket Bulgogi ,Fried Oysters, Fried Wontons, Hawaiian Steak, Popcorn Chicken,Spicy Pork BellyTri , Tip Bulgogi, Fried Dumplings, Green Salad. Lots of rice paper as well . As far as the food was very good . Everything was marinated really good the flavors were what I was looking for . My only draw back to this is that it was a little slower in service. One of our servers Josh and was Amazing. It seem like it took a while once we put an order in for the meat to come out and even our appetizers. That really is my only flaw I found . The Soju got was delish too. Most Kbbq places I have been to are a little more lively with music kind of loud and pretty quick with sides / orders etc. Now that was LA. Here was more a softer music kind of low and just a little slower . Definitely a little different pace than used too. I do recommend tho everything g was delicious. Enjoy!!!!

SIU Korean BBQ was a great experience. Our waiter was incredibly kind and attentive - since two of us were new to Korean BBQ, he took the time to explain how the ordering worked. The meats came out quickly and tasted fresh. I especially loved the Miso Pork Belly; it had the perfect balance of sweetness and savory flavor, easily making it my favorite of the night. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to a few small details. We were charged the full adult price of $38.99 for the child eating with us, who only had a couple of miso soups, a bowl of rice, and some pork. While we knew the pricing beforehand and were prepared for it, it would be wonderful if the restaurant considered extending the reduced price (currently for ages 9 and under) to include kids up to 12. We were also told the ice cream machine was out of order, leaving no dessert options, and one of the two stalls in the women's restroom was unavailable, which caused a brief wait. Overall, though, we truly enjoyed our time at SIU. The service was warm, the food was delicious, and despite a few minor inconveniences, we had a great evening.

Everyone was really friendly. Our server, Kelsea, greeted us and took our drink order soon after we sat down. We both ordered one of the lunch specials that came with two ribs, a pulled pork slider, Kickass Fries, and a drink. It arrived quickly and was a lot of food. The ribs were meaty, the pork slider was overflowing with tender pulled pork, and the Kickass Fries were, well... kickass. If you've never had them, they're fries covered with a generous amount of pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and cheddar cheese, with sour cream on the side. If you order them off the main menu, they can also be customized several different ways. We were really happy with both the food and the service, and we'll definitely be back in the near future.

Not a bone in one of them. Paired with the dirty rice side and a corn bread muffin, this was a meal I haven't had since I left Arkansa over 20 years ago. The catfish was great! The rest of our party was generally pleased. The fried potato wedges were really done nicely, and cold mashed potatoes were excellent. Oddly, must have been an off night, the brisket was chewy than gas station jerky. That's anomalous for this restaurant though, this was the second time I've been here, and it wasn't like that last time. I like the simple clean decor. Not gaudy, not overly done, clean and neat. The service is generally good! Oddly, each time we had a male server, there is a curt attitude to them. The female staff were great though. Polite, attentive and willing to help. One server assisted excellently with a language barrier and the menu. Thank you miss. All in all. Turning into a favorite BBQ place. Well try here one more time to see about consistency. Well worth the visit though Try the catfish

We sat in a booth in the bar area. Our first mistake may have been skipping the $35 Feast for 2-sday special and ordering from the lunch menu instead. My husband chose the Texas beef brisket sandwich with BBQ chips, and I ordered the two meat combo with pulled pork, burnt ends, and coleslaw. There was only one server in the bar area, so it took a while for our food to arrive, but it did come out hot. As for the food, the pulled pork was tasty but didn't really have that smoked flavor. It reminded me more of something I could make in a slow cooker. The burnt ends were disappointing. I'm used to them being caramelized with a bit of a crust, but these were soft and even a little mushy. The coleslaw was good. My husband felt the same about his brisket. It lacked smokiness and was a bit too soft. The chips were tasty, but didn't have much BBQ seasoning. Although Famous Dave's is close to our house, we're willing to drive a little farther for better BBQ.
