Perenn's pastries just absolutely looks perfect! I've been to the larger location and the midtown location is a smaller and more cozy version. There is l inside and outside seating. Please come and create your own adventure.

I finally gotta knock this location down a peg. Ever since the big location went live at Rancharrah it just seems this one gets less and less love. I've started to come back over the last couple months and the last 4 times I've gone there the selection stays the same, and now they've taken away my one motivator for my AM visits.... The golden toasty.... I hate to say but that was the last thing keeping me from just going to Beloved for my pastries and Pangolin for my latte. The last nail was today, this was officially the 4th time in a row that I have gone over the last couple months and they have opened up the store late, while watching all the people line up outside and not reacting to it. You gotta do better if you wanna keep this midtown location Perenn, there is other options that open on time, have a better selection, and are truly bought into midtown. It seems like the Rancharrah location just took all the care out of this place. I'm bummed

I haven't been to this location for awhile but needed to get birthday present for a friend and what better gift than some pastries from Perenn? Love their bread and all the pastries looked so good I had a hard time deciding! Needless to say the gift was a huge hit! Not only do they taste delicious but they're beautiful-little works of art!

I absolutely love Perenn! The Midtown location is perfect for strolling by and grabbing some coffee and a pastry. The quality of the baked food is excellent! And such beautiful presentation. The staff are super friendly, and I just love the overall vibe - warm, welcoming, fresh flowers, clean. It's a real gem!

The croissants were fresh, flaky, buttery, and perfectly baked. Every bite melted in my mouth. The shop itself had such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were kind and friendly from the moment I walked in. If you're craving amazing pastries and a cute spot to relax, this place is definitely worth visiting. I'll definitely be coming back for more croissants

I am so beyond happy that we have Perenn Bakery. All locations and the grocery store are incredible! We love the staff too, everyone is so nice and helpful. It definitely can be very expensive, but as a treat once every few months, it's completely worth it. It has such a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere even when it's busy. And the food, and coffee are always exceptional. I can't really choose a favorite pastry or breakfast item, they're all perfect! Much love Perenn crew, may you continue to be around for a very long time.

This is an overdue review, but I knew I had to share this! I really miss this bakery, I miss the calm and clean atmosphere and the general aesthetic of the bakery. I most remember their rich chocolate bouchon and their crème brûlée kouign armaan (whoops forgot how to spell it) The crème brûlée were at the perfect sweetness level; a short sweet sensation that doesn't linger in your mouth for too long. Plus, you can tell a staff member to heat up your goodies for you so it's warm and cozy. I remember biting into a warm, soft cookie while looking out into the rain. It was surely a morning to remember!

Came in a few minutes before closing, and they still had some goodies left so I got the danish of the day and it had mango in it and it was absolutely amazing! It was super beautiful too. I was hungry for some breakfast so I opted for the English muffin breakfast sandwich and it also did not disappoint. I highly recommend the caramelized onions. They give a good portion for the price. Everything is made in house and you could definitely tell. I've got the English muffin this time, I would like to try the croissant next time.

If you are looking for a place to get a fun pastry and coffee in the morning this is the place! If you like bakery items then you can't go wrong with what you pick here-- everything looked delicious! The only issue I had was not being able to try all of the items! I ended up trying the vanilla creme brulee kouign amann. The fresh cream on the inside side paired great with the croissant bread -- 10/10 YUM! There's also a breakfast menu if you are looking for more savory items. I saw there was avocado toast and a breakfast sandwich. When I got there, there were a couple of people ahead of me in line ordering, but the line moved pretty quick, and my drink came out 5-10 minutes after ordering.

We ordered the BBQ Pork Buns, Minced Pork Dumplings, and Sui Mai. We took everything home and steamed it ourselves. I also picked up a Napoleon pastry from the bakery case. The BBQ Pork Bun was good with nice flavor. I would order it again, especially since I don't know of many other places in Reno where I can get one of my favorite dim sum items. The Minced Pork Dumplings, however, were not for us. I believe the flavor of the Chinese leek may have been what turned us off. As for the Napoleon, it wasn't very sweet or particularly flavorful, and it made quite a mess to eat. Not something I'd reorder. The Sui Mai was delicious, and I would definitely order it again. This was the winner of our take home feast. While not everything was a hit for us, we'd return for the Sui Mai and BBQ Pork Buns and other explore some other items that we have yet to try.

You can really tell that they work hard to ensure the gluten free menu is as amazing as the non gluten free one. Everything was absolutely delicious, including the bottomless tea. We did the Jasmine Glow tea and the Strawberry Chocolate Pu'erh. The teas were amazingly delicious! They were so good that we bought some to bring home. The bites were flavorful, just the right size, and complemented each other beautifully. You could taste the love and care that went into each one of the items. They also offer 2 speciality adult beverages each month. The Prosecco float was my favorite! This was a wonderful and delicious experience. We can't wait for next month's tea!

They had all the wonderful pastries you can imagine and although they were good size, they had a lighter texture to them, which I really appreciated and you could tell they were made with care and quality ingredients. They had a berry Brulé pastry that I think was one of the favorites, although I always tend to lean towards the bear claws and almond croissant. The almond croissant was a yummy buttery almond flavor but was just a bit over browned on the edges for my taste. The bear claw was soft and tasty. It also had apples in it, which made it sort of a mix of a bear claw apple fritter, but was tasty all the same. We also got one of the blueberry cheese danishes that was very good as well and the morning bun -- this was a good size cinnamon roll sugared treat that was so soft and amazing! I would have to say I would go straight for this next time. We also tried two espresso drinks- a latte and a mocha and both were excellent!
