I haven't been to this location for awhile but needed to get birthday present for a friend and what better gift than some pastries from Perenn? Love their bread and all the pastries looked so good I had a hard time deciding! Needless to say the gift was a huge hit! Not only do they taste delicious but they're beautiful-little works of art!

I absolutely love Perenn! The Midtown location is perfect for strolling by and grabbing some coffee and a pastry. The quality of the baked food is excellent! And such beautiful presentation. The staff are super friendly, and I just love the overall vibe - warm, welcoming, fresh flowers, clean. It's a real gem!

I am so beyond happy that we have Perenn Bakery. All locations and the grocery store are incredible! We love the staff too, everyone is so nice and helpful. It definitely can be very expensive, but as a treat once every few months, it's completely worth it. It has such a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere even when it's busy. And the food, and coffee are always exceptional. I can't really choose a favorite pastry or breakfast item, they're all perfect! Much love Perenn crew, may you continue to be around for a very long time.

This is an overdue review, but I knew I had to share this! I really miss this bakery, I miss the calm and clean atmosphere and the general aesthetic of the bakery. I most remember their rich chocolate bouchon and their crème brûlée kouign armaan (whoops forgot how to spell it) The crème brûlée were at the perfect sweetness level; a short sweet sensation that doesn't linger in your mouth for too long. Plus, you can tell a staff member to heat up your goodies for you so it's warm and cozy. I remember biting into a warm, soft cookie while looking out into the rain. It was surely a morning to remember!

Came in a few minutes before closing, and they still had some goodies left so I got the danish of the day and it had mango in it and it was absolutely amazing! It was super beautiful too. I was hungry for some breakfast so I opted for the English muffin breakfast sandwich and it also did not disappoint. I highly recommend the caramelized onions. They give a good portion for the price. Everything is made in house and you could definitely tell. I've got the English muffin this time, I would like to try the croissant next time.

If you are looking for a place to get a fun pastry and coffee in the morning this is the place! If you like bakery items then you can't go wrong with what you pick here-- everything looked delicious! The only issue I had was not being able to try all of the items! I ended up trying the vanilla creme brulee kouign amann. The fresh cream on the inside side paired great with the croissant bread -- 10/10 YUM! There's also a breakfast menu if you are looking for more savory items. I saw there was avocado toast and a breakfast sandwich. When I got there, there were a couple of people ahead of me in line ordering, but the line moved pretty quick, and my drink came out 5-10 minutes after ordering.

On one of those days when you crave a bread. I had always seen photos of his bakery and I craved everything until I decided to order some for work. I chose a croissant with chocolate and a matcha latte. Omg the croissant was super crunchy and delicious and the matcha had the perfect flavor and sweetness. Next time I'll go to eat at the place so I can evaluate the service and the atmosphere

Service was really quick. The ladies at the front were so nice! I got the almond croissant and matcha and it was about $17. It wasn't busy in the seating area of the store but a lot of people were coming in to order takeout. Matcha is standard, not too sweet..just perfect. Nice place to do some work or assignments. I heard they have another location that serves breakfast dishes, I will check it out!

I stopped in for a quick bite to eat and coffee with my husband and we really enjoyed everything we tried! We ordered an americano, breakfast sandwich with bacon jam, ham and cheese croissant and chocolate and pistachio croissant. While we enjoyed everything, the croissants were certainly the highlight of our meal. We are not big on sweets but we loved the chocolate and pistachio croissant the best. Both croissants were flaky, fresh and absolutely delicious - perfect for a light treat! It's a smaller space but they had plenty of tables open when we entered. It's a cute place to meet up with a friend for a coffee date! The staff was also friendly and greeted up when we entered and helped answer any questions we had about the menu items. It is on the higher end of price but I think it's a nice place to treat yourself and I will definitely be stopping by in the future!

We have been coming to Perenn for years! Perenn Midtown is my favorite location, super friendly staff and great ambiance. The pastries are always on point, I look forward to tasting new seasonal treats each time I go. Their coffee is always tasty as well, my personal go to is the Vietnamese coffee.

This location is busy, which is normal for Peren. There is indoor and outdoor seating, but it fills up really fast. This location is a little different than their Rancharra location. It's has more of a stop and go or quick bite vs a restaurant vibe. When you walk in, there isnt a menu until you get to the register and has a small coffee menu overhead. I ordered an orange poppy seed bread slice, an apple croissant, 2 breakfast sandwiches and two cloud drinks. Of course the pastries were given to me right away. They ended up smashing my poppy slice in a box where the icing was scraped off, so it was no longer esthetically pleasing, but still tasted great. Downside... everything came out at different times and I mean much different times. After I paid and collected my pastries it took about 20 minutes for my hot breakfast sandwiches to come out and then another 15 minutes for my two drinks. Since this was a to go order, my food was extra cold. The drinks were last to come out and were unfortunately shaken, so you could no longer see the distinct cloud or clear part, so that was a little disappointing since it was the main appeal. I will probably venture back, but be more aware of the timing or know that I will be there a good while. With the high end prices, I just expected the quality/service to align.

So strong that a headache kicked in immediately and only drank 1/4 of the cup. Also got a matcha cloud which consist of coconut water and a creamy matcha foam. First sip, sweet and creamy. Barely tasted the matcha. For pastries we got the chocolate croissant, pain suisse and a Kouign Amann. The Kouign amann was different, it was in a shape of a bar and had multiple flaky layers. Tasted like a palmier cookie. Everything was delicious. The lines can be long and we were told if you just want drinks, walk next door to Perenn Grocery and they can make the drinks quickly to avoid the lines. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

I was surprised to see this place as I've driven by this strip of businesses many times and never noticed this particular spot. They offer homemade treats, but mostly ice cream. They have an almost unmatched selection of non-dairy ice creams and sorbets. A nice surprise. The gentleman helping us was very nice and gave us a full rundown of how they make everything in house. He offered samples and suggestions. I sampled the flavor of the week, Lavender Honey Matcha, and the coconut cream coffee. My kids decided on the mango sorbet and the classic strawberry. Everything was delicious. The coconut cream ice cream had great flavor and texture given that it was non dairy. My wife and I decided on the matcha flavor of the week. It was very refreshing. The strawberry had real chunks of strawberry which is always a treat. My biggest critique is the texture of the ice cream. This stuff seemed very crumbly. I prefer a much more "chewy" or "sticky" ice cream if that makes sense. This stuff was more "dry" and less "creamy". There are some other local shops in the area that make great ice cream exactly how I like it, which is the only reason for 4 stars. I'm not sure this would be my top place for ice cream again. The smallest "one scoop" size is actually nearly two full scoops. Could be a good thing for some, but a kids scoop is always appreciated for my toddlers, especially a a slightly discounted price. That is not an option here. There are a few small tables inside to enjoy your treats and lots of to-go options which is always nice. The place was clean and well decorated. It was steadily busy while we visited, indicating that this place is likely here to stay. Overall, worth stopping in if you're in the area. The flavors are unique and tasty and the non-dairy selection is fantastic.
