I usually don't order dessert at dinner, I instead stop by the bakery in the Eldarado they have a great variety of options. Gelato, variety of slices of cake, candy, fruit and baked goods. The staff is always friendly and package things to go very nicely. The parking can be challenging but, I you have someone to drive while you hop out it not that bad. Came here for coffee and fruit tart. Please keep in mind the fruit tarts are not created equal. Some has fruits others dont, such as I got two, and one noticeably had grapes while other didn't. It was tasty nonetheless. The coffee menu isn't expansive but it is pricey. I spent $8 for a 16oz in which I wasn't crazy about. Lots of pumps of syrups and then added coffee. It just wasn't satisfactory as I couldn't really taste coffee. The service was quick though. Line wasn't that long at 130PM. I do see some mornings where they line is long so I can't say how fast the line moves during that time. You can sit down to dine and have breakfast too or just do take out with the coffee and pastries. I wished they had cake varieties too. That was be awesome! read more

My one stop for all of our fancier cravings! Their fruit flan was one I always ordered for birthday parties and holiday gatherings with family. It's just not the same nor as good as it once was. My last visit we stopped by after dinner at Roxys. The kids opted out for souffles and just wanted some gelato. We picked up a few slices of sweetness to have at home. Fresh pastries, cake and roasted coffee beans. I appreciate their early hours and later closing times for those of us with a sweetooth! I love this case! We stopped here for a couple treats for my hubby. He got the chocolate-dipped coconut macaroon and the chocolate croissant. The woman at the counter was very sweet (no pun intended). As we walked up, she was finishing an order for another customer and handed her the gelato she scooped for her. The woman let her know it was supposed to be two scoops of two different flavors instead of two scoops of one flavor. I love this little coffee shop inside the Eldorado Casino. My go to is the 12oz "quad shot" (you're welcome!). If you want a normal coffee, this place is fine but that's not why I like this place. Their specialty drinks here are much better than Starbucks in my opinion; that said, I don't care for the overly sweet and/or artificial flavors found at mainstream coffee shops. The gelato is really good and they have several rotating flavors to choose from. The fruit glazed croissants and breakfast croissants (bacon egg cheese) are my favorite! I've tried almost every baked sweet from the display case and there is only a couple options I don't care for. They have a few places to sit and eat but I typically prefer to grab n go. The staff here are friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied with your order. I'm here almost daily when I'm in town and use this place as a baseline for coffee experiences when I'm traveling. Can't recommend this place enough. On Saturday I passed by the coffee company in El dorado at around 6:30 after a long day of fun activities with my gals. We thought it would be a nice treat. I got the strawberry gelato while my girlfriends got smoothies, and let me just say the gelato was delicious. Definitely very rude as a customer service personnel. She was leaning over the ice cream with her hair dangling over her face which resulted in her hair touching the gelato. We waited for her to finish and we continued with our order. When we finished our order of smoothie and ice cream, she looked at her coworker and said we're out of smoothies right now. The suicide pie is a must try for chocolate lovers. It is super rich and so decadent. If you're not into chocolate overload then there are plenty of other options to choose from like cheesecake etc. They even have chocolate covered strawberries! I also recommend any of the gelato flavors. My favorite is the rocky road. It's super creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. They also have flavors like mango, coconut, coffee, cookies & cream, chocolate and many more. They also have sundaes if you want to splurge a little more. They are very generous with their scoops so be mindful of that when ordering! I could barely finish "one" scoop. The gelato is still as good I remember from all those years back so they have definitely stayed consistent. Of course they have different coffee drinks to choose from like lattes and macchiatos to name a couple. The place is kind of small and it's more of a grab and go type of thing. I was greeted and helped by what seemed to be the manager of this coffee/pastry operation. What a concept! A manager who steps in to provide service to the customers when the regular staff isn't present for whatever reason. Located inside the Eldorado hotel is this fancy pastry stop. You can see all the baked good from the display window and they all looked so appetizing. I got the uniquely named "suicide pie" which was a very thick chocolate cheesecake. I savored every bite. I also got the classic New York cheesecake which was the best of its class. If you enjoy thick cheesecakes, I definitely suggest this place. Of course, being that it is a hotel, the prices are outrageous. Each slice of a cheesecake rounds to about $5 which honestly is a great price for the texture and quality of the cheesecake. However, it lacks immensely in the presentation aspect. You get these divine quality cheesecakes in styrofoam to-go containers. There is plenty of tables next to sit at next to the counter so there is an expectation to be sitting down while eating. So eating out of to-go containers while expecting high-class service was a little unsettling. Moreover, the water bottles are small and expensive. This is a problem because there are no water fountains nearby. I recommend this place if you want to grab tasty dessert on the go, but do not come here if you plan to stay for long. read more

El Dorado needs to have a mature adult working and supervising as you have reached into the bottom of the labor pool and hired pseudo-adults with attitude and bad manners...lacking customer service and work ethic. They also usually have some snack foods and they do made-to-order birthday cakes. I love to come here, mainly because the staff is so amazing. The variety of drinks is somewhat limited but the coffee is roasted on location and is always fresh and delish. Some of my favorite pastries are the fruit tarts, kolachis and sugar free apple cheesecake. Wait times can get long depending on special events and things but the ladies always crush the line down pretty quickly. This has become our go-to place for cakes. They custom make cakes for a fraction of the cost of local bakeries and they're gorgeous. We've gotten baby shower cakes, graduation cakes and birthday cakes all elaborately decorated.
