Case filled with goodies
Penny R.

Looking for something sweet and ooey gooey? This is the spot!! Went in for some.Cupcakes but changed our mind and got tarts, eclairs and lemon bars!!!. Also a small variety of croissants. You can order ahead and get exactly what you want but coming in later in the day you will still get a variety to choose from. Tarts have the thicker crust that holds up well with the fillings. Chocolate and raspberry filling.... Would be better with some fresh berries. Pastry cream is smooth and has the right amount of vanilla flavor. Lemon bars tasted like lemons!! Will be back again for another amazing cookie!

Lemon Mousse

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The bakery was cute and the staff was very nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I bought the lemon mouse, the blackberry cupcake, and a slice of carrot cake. The lemon mouse was the best. It was a thin white chocolate shell filled with whipped cream and lemon curd. The lemon curd was good. I wanted more lemon because it tasted mostly like whipped cream. The blackberry cupcake didn't have enough blackberry flavor, but the texture was good. The frosting was far too sweet and detracts from the cupcake. The carrot cake was the worst of the three. The cake wasn't spiced enough and was too dense, probably from a sugar soak. The frosting was terrible. If it was cream cheese, we couldn't taste it at all because of how sweet it was. It felt like it coated your mouth in powdered sugar.

I've been looking for a bakery in Sparks. I've seen the commercial on TV. I decided to go there today and try out some of their wonderful desserts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute little place very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The lady that helped me with very knowledgeable and the items they carry look so I got some croissants and a a bear claw, which I haven't had one for a long time. So you're looking for a great little bakery. It's in the Los Altos shopping center in Sparks across from Trader Joe's i next to motions in art

Cotton candy, Oreo, coffee shake!

The service was excellent, and the owner was very welcoming. The Cracking Milkshake was delicious and presented in such a cute, aesthetic way. The desserts were adorable, especially the banana mousse and coffee bean mousse. They were incredibly creamy and full of flavor. Overall, a great experience!. The pistachio croissant, was so good. It could've used more cream inside. But other than that it was good.

Found them on instagram for the viral mouse fruits and boy were they delicious! I got the lemon one and my husband went with a pastry which he said was very tasty. We also grabbed a couple of coffees. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As we were leaving a line was forming out the door.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Seems like most people were there to try the dessert fruit!

There is a reason that this place has blown up on social media, and I finally got to visit today! We had the strawberry tik tok shake, lavender coffee, Dubai chocolate croissant and had some cake pops and cupcakes to take home. The shake is a star and was delicious and the Dubai chocolate croissant was everything I hoped it would be and more! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is adorable and everyone there was so incredibly sweet (pun intended )[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you are looking for some unique sweets, this place is definitely the spot to go! They also do custom cakes, which I would love to order in the future!

I have been DYING to come here. Everything we got was friggin DELICIOUS. Service was fast and excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of here is adorable. So girly and quaint.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My only gripe is it's a tad expensive but for the food art you're paying for it makes sense. I will still be coming back though. Thank you!

mango, blueberry, cocoa bean

[[HIGHLIGHT]]always enjoy coming here, the staff is friendly, and the establishment itself is very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is on the smaller side, but it still feels welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This visit, I decided to try the new viral fruit pastries everyone has been talking about. Overall, they were just okay for me. The first one I tried was the mango, and the filling was not what I expected it tasted mostly like whipped cream with only a very small amount of cake and mango filling. I was hoping for a stronger Mango flavor. The second pastry looked like an espresso bean, but it turned out to be more of cocoa bean!? it was basically a chocolate shell with vanilla filling inside. I was expecting more chocolate flavor or maybe some cake or thicker texture in the center, just wasn't what i was expecting. The third one was blueberry, and that ended up being the best one of the three. I liked that it had more cake texture, although I still wish there had been more blueberry filling to balance out the whipped cream. One thing I would definitely recommend: eat them right away if possible, or bring a cooler if you're traveling. They did not hold up very well during a 35-minute car ride. They are on the price of your side. They are $10 a piece.

One of my Favorite places for sweets so far. Went for their 3 year anniversary and it was amazing great turn out. The customer service is great and because it was their anniversary they gave me an extra cupcake. I also tried the viral shake a strawberry shake and it was really tasty. Definitely recommend it and look forward to more visits.

I just went to check out this place the other day and everything there was so good! If you have a sweet tooth you definitely need to check it out! My favorite thing was definitely the TikTok viral shakes! They were so good, we got the cotton candy and cookies and cream one! I also loved the variety of cupcake flavors and the cinnamon rolls are huge and delicious! We tried the Dubai chocolate cakesicle as well and it was so yummy! Definitely check it out!

Recommended by a friend, this spot is a must-visit. The staff was warm and attentive. As for the baked goods--the cupcakes and croissant were delicious. I look forward to my next visit to try more of their selection.

Oh WOW! What a great find! Cs Mad Batter Cakery has so many creative treats for both everyday and special occasions. Parking is easy, and the shop is adorable, just as pretty as the pastries. Seating is limited, but we found a spot at the counter. We came in for the Blueberry Bliss croissant and left with a cinnamon roll (warmed, of course) and a Dubai chocolate croissant. The cinnamon roll could have used a little more cinnamon, but we like our flavors bold. The Blueberry Bliss and Dubai chocolate croissants are only available on weekends, and they were every bit as delicious as they looked. The blueberry filling was sweet and flavorful, and the pistachio in the Dubai Chocolate croissant was noticeable even with the sweetness. Cs Mad Batter Cakery is definitely on my list of favorite spots. Can't wait for my next visit.

There has been a lot of hype about this bakery, and after visiting I can understand why. [[HIGHLIGHT]]First of all, it's adorable inside and you can tell that so much love and thoughtfulness go into every part of the business.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had to try the viral TikTok shake and it was delicious! We chose the strawberry flavor and love that almond milk was an option. So fun to squeeze and crack the inner coating! We also had a delicious lavender latte, Dubai chocolate croissant and a lemon cupcake. Everything so good-just worried I'm going to get addicted to all these treats!

I was super bummed they didn't have any, but we did settle for their peanut butter chocolate marble cake. I'm a personal sucker for lemon anything, so their lemon blueberry was a no-brainer. We had to take a red velvet cake bomb home as well. It's a big "cake pop" coated in chocolate ganache. It was my personal favorite! This cute little shop hasn't changed since the last time I set foot in there. The older lady working in the evening was a doll. She was friendly and patiently answered all of my questions. The frosting wasn't overly sweet, but our cake slices were on the dry side. I wish at about $9 a slice they were dated, so as a consumer, I knew when it was baked. The cake bomb is the way to go if you want dry cake or wash it down with a glass of milk. *They do a stamp card here, so ask for yours when you check out.* With their prices creeping up, I'll have to rethink my next visit to buy a dry slice of cake.

As a longtime Reno customer I've watched them grow from a single location into a multi-state restaurant group with six locations across Nevada and Tennessee -- and that growth is well deserved. That said I do want to share one honest observation. On top of premium pricing -- which I'm happy to pay for quality -- Perenn also charges subscribers for their Substack newsletter. For an independent bakery scraping by, that makes complete sense. For a thriving six-location restaurant group with real momentum and expansion capital, it feels like a bridge too far. The brand story and the people behind it are genuinely compelling -- that content should be how you invite customers deeper into your world, not an additional revenue line. The food earns five stars. The Substack paywall earns a raised eyebrow. Share your story freely -- you've clearly earned the audience.

The Minced Pork Dumplings, however, were not for us. I believe the flavor of the Chinese leek may have been what turned us off. As for the Napoleon, it wasn't very sweet or particularly flavorful, and it made quite a mess to eat. Not something I'd reorder. The Sui Mai was delicious, and I would definitely order it again.
