The Pumpkin pie was the best Pumpkin pie I've had. Stick to the Pumpkin pie, or you'll be in great danger! That Pecan pie... it's not for us mere mortals! These bakers have gone to far, and (like Prometheus before them) stole the pie recipe from the Olympians! I want to eat the pie until I'm sick, then try to eat the pie to cure my stomach pains. With this pie in hand, all your troubles melt away, as long as the pie lasts. But there's a dark cloud on the horizon... this pie does not last forever! You look down at the plate, debating lapping up the crumbs. You look over at the last slice on the dessert table. That last, unclaimed bit of pure joy. Then you look around the room. The others have tasted the pie... Your dear, sweet mother. Your aged father. Neither of them is a threat. The grandparents? Bah, they couldn't even make it to the table and you'd have the pie half-way down your gullet. Aunts and uncles... you could push through them without any issue. Your brother may pose a threat, but how dangerous can a marine *really* be? Your sister? No, guile and deception won't win the day, here. The kids table.. were there 4 there earlier? 5? Could their youth really allow them to be swift enough to gain them victory? No, they'd turn on each other. Just... have to get that one last slice of pie....

I was super bummed they didn't have any, but we did settle for their peanut butter chocolate marble cake. I'm a personal sucker for lemon anything, so their lemon blueberry was a no-brainer. We had to take a red velvet cake bomb home as well. It's a big "cake pop" coated in chocolate ganache. It was my personal favorite! This cute little shop hasn't changed since the last time I set foot in there. The older lady working in the evening was a doll. She was friendly and patiently answered all of my questions. The frosting wasn't overly sweet, but our cake slices were on the dry side. I wish at about $9 a slice they were dated, so as a consumer, I knew when it was baked. The cake bomb is the way to go if you want dry cake or wash it down with a glass of milk. *They do a stamp card here, so ask for yours when you check out.* With their prices creeping up, I'll have to rethink my next visit to buy a dry slice of cake.

These mochi baked goods took time to perfect, so enjoy it here. The first wave of service is nice, they will help you get pastries and baked goodies. For an independent bakery scraping by, that makes complete sense. For a thriving six-location restaurant group with real momentum and expansion capital, it feels like a bridge too far. The brand story and the people behind it are genuinely compelling -- that content should be how you invite customers deeper into your world, not an additional revenue line. The food earns five stars. I called and it rang a few times and when someone answered, it was unprofessional and I can tell I was on speaker.. They answered the phone with just a "hello" so I wasn't even sure I had the right phone number.. they were yelling to talk to me and kept asking me to repeat myself. I gave up and just went to the location to get some questions answered. When I got there.. I walked straight out. Place was so small, over crowded and can barely move. There was about 1-2 other customers in there. I was not greeted. It was poor lighting and not well ventilated... It's a small store as it is but the shelves and display tables in the front make it hard to get around
