Decidí venir pero desafortunadamente es la 2da ocasión que no encuentro, espero tener suerte para la próxima porque realmente tengo mucho antojo. El ambiente es tranquilo y me encanta el olor que te recibe al entrar al local, también es interesante ver cómo los panaderos están a tu vista y tú puedes observar cómo están haciendo el pan. La atención del personal es muy amable y siempre buscan la forma de poder ayudarte si es que tienes alguna duda. We come for the concha's! They are always fresh every single day and taste delicious. Their other breads are really good too. As soon as you walk in it's warm and smells amazing. The lady Norma gave us her phone number to order tamales but we still haven't done that. However, being able to text her is super convenient. Highly recommend for Mexican sweet breads. I get to the place at 7:50 when they said the to be ready at 7 PM tonight and I need this by tomorrow afternoon. When I get there, they have no idea what's going on. They act like I'm calling the wrong place. The smell of the old building can be worked on but i love the fresh baked turtles. The concha's that ate out at 3 are also awesome.

My favorite bakery for pan dulce. I love the way it smells when you walk in. They are a cash only business so remember to have cash on hand when you go. We just got our Rosca (similar to king cake) yesterday for día de los reyes magos which is celebrated on January 6th. The bread was soft and perfectly sweet. When you go in you can look at their bread selection through a glass counter and you select what you want and they bag it up for you. They have a wide variety of sweet bread and Conchas (my favorite) that you can eat on its own or the traditional way of dipping in hot chocolate or to have with you me coffee. You can also purchase bolillo which is the bread that is used to make tortas (Mexican sandwich) and you can custom order cakes such as tres leches. If you have a sweet tooth give it a try it won't disappoint. read more

My family has relied on them for years with our cakes, conchas ( bread with a sweet colorful topping, elotes ( a bread shaped like corn with concha dough inside and cinnamon on top ) and puercitos ( a sweet pig shaped bread that tastes like molasses and cinnamon). They also offer things like strawberry and apple danishes and croissants. They make warm bread every hour or so and theyre always stocked with bread to try. The El Pueblo Bakery In my opinion this is one of the best Mexican Bakery's in the Northern of Nevada. They have a huge selection of Mexican bread you can also order one of the favorite cakes: 3 Leches. The prices are pretty reasonable too. Their customer service is outstanding. The owner is such a sweet lady, the first time I went I didn't know that they only accepted cash and I didn't have any cash with me, the owner said, don't worry you can pay me later so I took the bread and came back the next day to pay her for the bread I had taken and to buy more, the bread was so tasty and had some of my favorites. The owner made me feel like I was in Mexico, people tend to do that overthere, it just felt like being home. FYI. You will need to bring cash. read more

Was so disappointed with my order today. I ordered A Rosca De Reyes In advanced, I even asked the person in the phone what was a convenient time for me to pick up my order and they told me whatever time you need it for, we get it ready, so I did planned for a 10 am pickup, when I went there it was super smokey and smelled like burned bread, so when I asked for my order, they said it wasn't even in the oven yet, so I understood they were running behind schedule so I asked for another pickup time, they told me 30 minutes, witch I waited in the parking lot with my daughter for 30 minutes because didn't wanted to drive home and back! After 30 minutes I went back inside to pick up my Late order and they told me that it was cash only and that along was a big red flag for me, do to COVID-19 standards recently that's so unhealthy , so I didn't have cash in me so I managed to get the money from my car, almost 10 dlls in quarters and while paying for my order I saw a crackhead in the facility without face masks on, the employees told me that he is always there and he doesn't listen, so right there was. A good reason for me not to comeback, ever....anyways I went back to my house to discovered that they burned all the toppings on top of my rosca and not kidding you or lying but I found a hair in the bottom of my Rosca, shit show for a rosca With a very strong burn taste, I would never come back to this place! read more

I was visiting Reno/Sparks. Jan 6 we celebrate three kings day. So we stopped by to buy a Rosca de reyes. I was not happy with it. It was not that good. No flavor. Bought a large but seemed like a medium to me. For looks i gave it a D. I feel i over paid for this rosca. Im from Los Angeles maybe im spoiled cause we have so many choices out here. But let me explain something my review is solely on their Rosca de Reyes NOT their bread as I did not purchase any. I heard from my brother and his bro in law that their bread is good. I'm not the type to review but my experience here was just the worst experience ever. My friend recommended me this place because I heard their tres leches cake are really good. Although they are decent, I just had the WORST customer service here. I ordered the tres leches cake I needed for my daughters birthday 5 days in advance. They wrote down the details on how I wanted my cake. I specifically wanted a unicorn cake designed a certain way. I even showed them a picture and said they were able to do it. They even asked me details about lettering and the colors and all that. PICK-UP DAY: I came to pick up the cake just about half an hour before my daughters birthday starts only to find out THEY GAVE MY CAKE TO SOMEONE ELSE. Someone ordered another unicorn cake and that's what they ended up offering me. Not even close to the one I requested or ordered. It literally looked like it was designed in 3 minutes or less and they put a unicorn toy on top. The best they could offer me was $10 off the cake. I had no time to argue and I was beyond heated at this point. I was desperate enough to still pay for it because this is the only dessert I had plan for my daughters party. NEVER WILL I EVER ORDER HERE AGAIN. If you want to make sure you get the cake you want as you requested it, do not come here. read more

I cook a lot of BBQ pork and brisket at home. This place is right around the corner and they have these huge torta rolls for 33/c a piece. These things hold an insane amount of meat and toppings. They are good just to eat by themselves too. I always kind of get a weird look when I come in here but they always have rolls and sell them to me cheap. They are open pretty late too. read more

The steady flow of people and what appears to be around-the-clock baking would explain how fresh everything tasted. Norma Flores and her crew defiantly knows what's she's doing when it comes to baking turnovers, cakes, cookies and rolls. My favorite are their croissants. They are super buttery, soft and full of flavor. Conchas and the tres leches is what they are popular for so get there early before they run out. I will definitely be back.
