I couldn't detect any peanut flavor in the Thai chicken sauce. Perhaps I should have tried a different item? The service was great, atmosphere was non existent, it's a bleak boring dining area. The only cool thing was the stickers on the front window. If I get back to Reno this place would be low on my return list. UPDATE: After receiving a message from the owner I plan to return to Full Belly Deli and try something different. It's tough to make a decision with the extensive menu and as I felt instinctively while there. The Thai Chicken Burritos wasn't the best choice especially when they may lots of breads in house. The bread was soft, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the chicken steak was perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned just right. Every bite was better than the last. My wife ordered the Cheese Steak Sandwich with no veggies and we both agreed these were some of the best sandwiches we've ever eaten. The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care that customers had a great experience. The restaurant has a classic deli atmosphere that feels comfortable and inviting. The biggest compliment I can give is this: I'm already going back for the third time in one week because I can't stop craving that Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwich on the jalapeno cheddar bread. Here's why: I walked in, placed my order, was clear on my instructions and preferences, the order was not read back to me to ensure accuracy (not a big deal, right? but I'll address that shortly) and the clock began to tick. Four individuals walked into the store, two were Doordash pickups and the others placed their orders. One female cook was in the kitchen taking care of everything that was sent to the kitchen printer, while another guy was meandering through the stockroom adjacent to the register, and the male cashier asked both of them if he could take his break. Mind you, there were multiple orders, prep work needed to completed, and yet only one person was doing the work, the lone line cook. 15 to 20 mins went by and all four of the other orders were completed and I was the last man standing. Shaking my head and wondering what could have gone wrong or better here, I decided to speak up to the cook and inquire about my order. Then out came the sandwich not prepared per instructions, it was missing grilled onions, raw onions, lettuce, and chipotle sauce on my sandwich... clearly the overworked cook didn't even bother to read the ticket and just cooked chicken and cheese on the grill. The guy meandering through the stockroom suddenly appeared, and they scrambled to fix my order. Overall I have to give this store a 1 star rating as they haven't quite conceptualized the meaning of teamwork, and that confirming orders at the time they are made, then reading the ticket again to ensure proper preparation would have suited them better. Undoubtedly I am disappointed that I paid 24 dollars for a chicken cheesesteak, cold fries and a Gatorade when I could have enjoyed a sit down meal for that price and received better service. The au ju is flavorful, not too salty and doesn't leave some coat of something on your tongue.. the swiss/onion bread works so so well with everything.. the flavor of the Swiss cheese goes well with the au ju. We've had a few different sandwiches. my fiancée loved the meatloaf one and we both love the recent weekly specials.. This week is the chicken curry salad sandwich and last week was the Carolina pulled pork.. I lost my mind with that one.. so so flavorful. I couldn't stop eating it. I forgot it was a weekly special and we got it on the last day. So so sad.. wish it was a regular on the menu.. They have a list of sandwiches but you can also make your own and choose which bread you want on any of them. The thing I love about them is you can order a half sandwich. But his behavior left me and other uneasy feeling and so I had my knife out hidden just in case. A family of 10 was sitting next to us and felt so uncomfortable they went inside. So I go inside to order what the guy wanted and asked him to please wait on the side walk before I went in to order. So I get to the register and I explain to the cashier that there is a very drugged guy nodding off in the courtyard and that I didn't mind buying him food but could he give it to him and take the chance to tell him to please stay out of the courtyard and on the side walk. I explain I was disabled prier to this when I ordered for myself earlier and I am a 5"1 female and felt uneasy going back to the homeless guy alone. I asked the cashier if he could give the guy his food and ask him to please stay out of the courtyard and on the sidewalk. The cashier said no to me cause he didn't feel comfortable going up to a guy who was on drugs and acting the way he was. I told him another reason I had bought this guy food was so that he would wait outside which he did and this guy couldn't even do anything to help me. So your customer doesn't feel safe and you can't ask this person to please go on the sidewalk cause you are scared? Also i don't know what reason they have for not having the corner of the courtyard clean and trash picked up. This isn't my business and I did what I could to help since I saw the family feel uncomfortable and no one at THE FIX or any other restaurant there was doing anything? So if you don't care about a customers concerns I don't care to support you. A couple of times I have asked the counter person if they sell pork belly uncooked as it is a butcher shop and they have plenty of uncooked meat. But she says they do not. I wish I did so it would save me a trip to blue ribbon butcher. I have not tried any of the deli foods, but they have a nice menu. It is always clean, the people are always friendly and the quality seems to always be there so I will continue to shop here for last minute items or if I want to save a trip to town.
