Very off-the-beaten path coffee shop that focuses on their whole-sale to local businesses/companies rather than their in-person service. Despite that, the shop is homey and the staff is welcoming. It's a bit eclectic and not what you would generally expect from a coffee shop, but because of that you can basically guarantee a quiet spot to sit alone or plenty of room for a larger meet-up. Stumbled upon this place this morning on our way to the airport. It's located in an industrial park. Once you walk in, it looks like a normal office w/ merchandise all around. At first, I thought we were in the wrong place but there's a cute little sign that says "we make coffee here". Peeking through the open door, we're greeted by the owner to come on back! Once in the back, you're able to see where the magic happens! Wish we had more time to actually enjoy a cup there but we were short on time and got a quick little tour. The coffee was great tasting and the owners were so sweet! They have a variety coffee and teas to choose from and also stated they shipped everywhere! This is such a hidden gem! I was invited to a book club meet up here that was geared towards entrepreneurs and small businesses. This place looks nice on the inside. I'm not sure if it was a converted warehouse. Definitely enjoy the creativity into the way it was set up. There is a lot of seating once you get inside past the front entrance. I got a hot tea and they serve your drinks in real cups. There are a lot of flavors of teas and coffees to choose from. The owners were there and were very nice. I'm definitely going to have to come back on my own to get a better feel for this space. Running low on beans and wanted to try a new place.. Not too far from where I was... As I checked in with Yelp I got the coupon for two bags for $24.00 I saved $7.00!! Customer service was great! He let me smell all the beans! Got the house blend and the Indonesia Java.. Looking forward to the next cuppa Joe! Update: debated how to make my first cup... ended up with the mixed 2/3 +1/3.. I must say... I think I created my special bag! Smooth and smooth! Let's just say.. I made three cups for two coffee drinkers-(although the other half just gulps it down-).. lol! I had a little bit of time to fill, so I Yelped a coffee spot and this little gem popped up. I knew they sold loose leaf teas and coffee beans, but I was just made aware they serve actual drinks too. I got a herbal pineapple turmeric tea and it was very good. The service was excellent and I was shown all their teas and was able to smell some too, before I picked one. it is in a warehouse and they have good seating and cute decor and books to read. Nice folks who own the shop but the ambiance could use some work. We went in for a BNI meet up group early in the morning around 7:30. So maybe the environment would naturally be different. However, the menu and the place of ordering for coffee and their options of coffee weren't too attractive.. I probably won't be going back. There are other places that I am more fond of. read more

There's so much here! I was in the neighborhood while my car was being serviced and walked over to check this place out and have a coffee. I walked into some powerful good coffee smells! The front of the shop is cozy and has a fountain, art from local artists on display, and coffee and tea for sale (yep, in addition to coffee, there's delicious loose leaf tea!). I was greeted warmly by Darla, a co-owner, and ventured into the main (cavernous!) space - used for roasting, packaging, and serving coffee and tea. I opted for a mocha after Darla told me they have Dorinda's Chocolates' salted caramel and chocolate syrups for drinks. It was not too sweet - just perfect. So, you can easily buy a variety of quantities of coffee and/or tea, or have a delicious beverage, and if you're lucky - enjoy the roasting process! I was that lucky the other morning. Scott, who owns and runs the business with his wife Darla, is super kind and showed me the whole process, explaining all of it (except, of course, the top secret details of their recipes and processes that make Glory Cloud coffee the most delicious). They buy arabica beans from lots of different countries and their house coffee is a blend of 4 different beans that I had to buy a bag of so I can start lots more mornings with these flavors. Prices are super reasonable and you can order on their website and have them arrive on your doorstep, easy peasy! Next time, I'll go on an exploratory tea mission and report back! It's just so hard to pass up the beans of glory. But Scott and Darla are so nice, service was great, drinks are top notch - I will definitely be back for more of all of it. read more

We were in the area and Came Upon This awesome coffee shop. It was kid friendly and a lot of seating areas. We ordered a black coffee and a vanilla latte. Have to say the coffee here taste incredible. I find usually I've been a lattes are very sweet and do not have much of a coffee flavor. That was not the case with this latte. Under the radar coffee roasters located in a warehouse in Sparks, NV. Not a store front, but once you step inside, it's as if you're visiting someone at their personal (and prideful) workspace. Scott, the owner of Glory Cloud, is super knowledgeable and informative about coffee beans and all aspects of flavors and roasting techniques (he even has a roaster on site). I was not expecting a master class on roasting, but the heated up cold brew was just as good as he described. He also sells loose tea in a variety of flavors and smell amazing! read more

Sucker for a really great cup of coffee, I tried Glorycloudcoffee this morning after my order arrived yesterday. Honestly, I couldn't be more pleased. Smooth but strong enough to provide a gentle morning kick, the taste reminds me much of Douwe Egberts gourmet coffee they often serve at the best fancy hotel banquets. In the front entry you'll find photography from local artists as well as some cute tea pots and a small selection of the various flavors of coffee/tea they offer. Along with showcasing some of the photography, there is also a wall of business cards/pamphlets for your local business needs in the back. Come into the back and you're where the magic happens. Scott and his wife Darla are quick to greet you with a warm smile. Scott loves to share his knowledge of coffee and the roasting process and if you're lucky enough to come on a roasting day, you're in for a real treat - plus the smell is absolutely amazing! He is kind enough to walk you through the process of picking a coffee or tea that is right for you by explaining the flavors/blends and allowing you to smell them. His knowledge is extensive and he certainly won't steer you wrong! He will also ask you about how you brew your coffee so he can grind the beans just right! If you're able to stick around they even offer handcrafted coffees and you can sit and enjoy a great conversation beyond coffee with a wonderful couple. The variety of flavors between the coffee and tea is amazing; my personal favorites are the Ethiopian Natural coffee and the Bengal Chai tea! read more

I have been drinking swill for years and had no idea until I had a americano at Glory Cloud Coffee. The CEO was so nice when we barged in on a quiet Tuesday morning. He explained his cree was not in, but would happily make us drinks. The americanos were so wonderfully flavorfull and easy drinking (no cream needed He showcased all the different beans they currently offer (from all over the world!). Randomly found this place while visiting Sparks, NV. What a treat this visit was. Went just for a cup of quality coffee; three hours later I walked away with a new education and respect for coffee! Oh and of course several bags of beans and teas. The owner and coffee guru Scott, took me on an experience that will take my coffee appreciation to the next level. He was super kind and patient to walk me through a 'Coffee Cupping' experience and process. He even let me smell and see all the different varieties so that I could choose my samples for cupping. Amazing coffee! We discovered Glory Cloud Coffee last year on our annual trip to Reno while searching for a nearby place to get our caffeine fix after eating at a breakfast joint. I was blown away learning that they had a slayer espresso machine and even more blown away by the fantastically smooth and balanced shots of espressos they served up. We initially got espressos to go that day but after tasting them right before taking off in our vehicle, they were so good we had to go back in and order more coffee to go as well as get a bag of beans to bring back to California. I've been ordering bags of their espresso blend every couple of months for online delivery ever since and the smooth balance of the blend carries over on my home espresso set up - fantastic, easy to brew and pretty forgiving when pulling shots. We returned this year for our annual Reno trip again and I am happy to report that the outstanding quality and service still stands, the owner even remembered our little family from last year! Ended up taking home 2 pounds of coffee as well as 8oz of different teas in total - did I mention that they have some of the best tea blends I have had the pleasure of drinking?
