I visited Keva Juice in Reno, NV [5020 Las Brisas Blvd] on Monday, 05/11/26, around 11:15 AM. The day was approaching in the hot temperature, and that resulted in an urgency to satisfy my thirst for the time being. A smoothie on a warm day sounded like a wonderful plan to me! Upon entering, I was greeted by two associates with a pleasant smile. Under the 'Island Blends' section from the menu board, I proceeded to order a Large Passion Paradise smoothie prepared with a thick consistency. It came with mango & guava juice, strawberries, peaches, and pineapple sherbet. I also had an offer to add a complimentary boost; I selected the 'Sassy' Energy Boost (Green Tea Extract & Ginseng). The drink was refreshing, fruity, and provided gratification in every sip. It was prepared to perfection, with the flavor and even with the modification of the smoothie's thickness. The interior of the smoothie shop was extremely clean, vibrant, colorful, and inviting. The pricing was absolutely affordable and reasonable. The staff members created a welcoming environment for guests. Parking was plentiful and easily accessible to the location. Overall, Keva Juice is an incredible smoothie spot by far! We got a Keva Juice coupon in the mail, so we decided to stop in for lunch! I didn't even realize until after I ordered that there was a virtual ordering station off to the side, it's easy to miss. The menu is large with something for everyone. I love that they even had kids sizes for $5.99! They only had 2 options for smoothie bowls which was a bit surprising. They have a 3rd option of "create your own bowl" but the steps were a bit confusing on what should be included to be like a typical smoothie bowl, so I just went with the two premade choices: a peanut butter one and a strawberry blueberry one. We also got a kids strawberry banana smoothie. When I ordered, there was only one group of 2 people ahead of me and a Door Dash pickup. Despite not being busy, it took a full 20 mins (maybe even longer) to get my order ready even with 4 people working. It seemed like some of the staff were new and taking their time. It felt like an exceptionally long wait time for such a simple order. The smoothie bowls were ok, the açaí base was thicker than expected--more like a sorbet. The thickness made the fruit toppings and granola not really mix into the bowls very well. My daughter's smoothie was too thin and seemed like it was watered down more than it should have been. Overall, the bowls and smoothie got the job done for lunch but we did not have a great experience. Even with a BOGO free bowl coupon, my total was still $23 somehow. I want to highly recommend the South Meadows location. Today I found myself in a pickle, I ordered on line and the location Las Briasas ( I do not recommend lots of attitude and slow service) all celery juice. The all celery juice is harder for the locations and the South Meadows location I can rely on to have this for my orders. The las brisas location north reno called my at 10am - I placed my order the night before FYI and they could not fulfill my order. too bad they said, go on line and cancel the order. ( not easy to do fYi. I called the South Meadows location where i had been the day before for celery juice and told him my prodlem. He said he would fufill the order for me. The young manager with ( glasses) went out and bought celery to make my order with a smile on his face. The last few visits in the past to Keva Juice made me never want to go back. The drinks were too thick and flavorless and the wait to receive those drinks were incredibly long. But, after a while of not going, i decided to give them another try and I am so glad I did. The customer service was spot on. Maya took our order and was very patient while doing so. It's been about 8 years since my last review here. One thing that is consistent is my family is still Keva crazy! I didn't order a smoothie this last visit, but did order a 2oz portion of lemon glass and ginger with a Pineapple juice back. Trust me you want a juice chaser. My teenage daughter still loves their strawberry squeezer and got my youngest asking for his own. The pretzels are still a popular hit in my house and no visit is complete without them. Service hasn't changed here, it's been great every visit over the years and the ambiance well it hasn't changed in decor either. Why change a good thing? How does that saying go? The staff is amazing, they take the orders, make the drinks, and listen to me rant about how excited I was to arrive to order, and they also help resolve any inquiries. I just love to acknowledge the people in the establishments upon entering, the ambiance of the place is lovely. I gotta admit sometimes I use it as a pick-me-up because I don't drink alcoholic beverages but Keva juice drinks are delicious, and also use it as an excuse to socialize with the workers. June 2nd was the first day of Reno Food & Drink Week. Due to my schedule, I wasn't sure if I would be able to purchase anything the first day. After suffering in a very warm house, I decided the family needed smoothies! I knew Keva Juice was on the list of participants, so I checked to see what was on the event menu. This Keva Juice location is definitely my favorite location hands down! Especially on weekday mornings when Morgan is holding down the fort! Morgan is quick, always cheery, and knows her stuff! I usually end up changing out something (for example, I cannot stand bananas) and she knows just what to substitute, how much, etc. It's always perfection. My favorite is a Tahoe Blue Smoothie minus the bananas. I am not sure what she substitutes anymore, but the important thing is that she knows. The Tahoe Blue smoothie has Raspberry juice, apple juice, banana (except in mine...lol), Raspberry Emergen-C, Acai, strawberries, and blueberries. You can also get a free booster in this. I also have gotten an Acai Blueberry Bowl a couple of times as well as those coconut etc bars they have at the counter. YUM! I have not had a sub-par drink, bowl, or anything here and Morgan is a great help in starting your day off right! Be sure to also get connected with their rewards system. Ive come about a dozen times on my lunch break and the only time I am met with a smile and friendliness is when Carli is working. Today, one of the workers turned and glared at me as I walked in. My favorite place for grabbing a quick smoothie in Reno! I've been to this location several times in the three years I've lived in Reno and I've always had a great experience. My go-to drink is the Berry Berry Good. I love how their smoothies are very thick and don't melt too quickly. It's also very nice that you get a free element of your choice with any smoothie! Their service is always quick and friendly! Even when there's a long line, they get your smoothie out within a couple of minutes. The only thing that gets tricky is the parking lot when it's busy. There's limited spots at peak hours so you might have to circle around for a little bit. Can't wait to come back and get another smoothie.
