I had the great privilege of experiencing Atlantis Steakhouses latest wine dinner with fabulous friends! That's a 5 star moment right there, but I digress. This was a Pahlmeyer Wine dinner so I went in with great expectations, having enjoyed more Pahlmeyer wine than a girl deserves over the years! Side note... I'd heard through the grapevine and by grapevine I mean my friends that live in "Spain" that the previous wine dinner hosted by the Atlantis was, not so good, actually scathing reviews. OOF... I trusted this was a one off and I deduced it had more to do with staff shortages/service. The kind of mistake I would venture to say could only happen once. We were seated at a wonderful table and immediately service was a 10. Greeted by all the key players, sommelier, head waiter and soon after the rep from Pahlmeyer. Friends we were seated with own a Vinyard in Sicily and there was some connections being made with wine rep and numbers were exchanged. It was a very interesting and stimulating start to what ended up being a fantastic evening. The lovely atmosphere of the Atlantis Steakhouse never disappoints. Elegant steakhouse ambiance with a rich modern flair. Dinner was scrumptious from start to finish with the typical, too much to finish but, still want to taste it all experience. Beautiful curated plates delivered with perfect timing of service was notable and appreciated. Wines were exceptional as expected. This was truly a special evening. Bravo Atlantis Steakhouse! read more

My girlfriend and I decided to do a couple getaway weekend. We were celebrating our August birthday month. She made reservations at the Atlantis Steakhouse. The restaurant has a nice, modern ambience. The restaurant is located on the second floor at the Atlantis Casino Hotel. Our servers, Logan and his assistant, were very nice and attentive. We ordered Caesar salads, which were served tableside. It was a nice presentation by the chef. I ordered the Mary's chicken and my husband ordered the Seabass. Our friends ordered the Brussel sprouts, ribeye and Seabass. Everything was served to perfection. We were all delighted with our entrées. At the end of the meal, Logan surprised us with two baked Alaska desserts. We never had this dessert. It was a nice treat at the end of our meal. We enjoyed it. I recommend dining at the steakhouse and making reservations. read more

One of the best steakhouse in town! I have been to a few in town, Atlantis location just has this special experience for me as a first timer that I can't really pin to, but all I can say is that it's such an easy-going spot to have dinner whether it's one-on-one or with the whole family/friend gang. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary together, my husband had the steak Diane and I had the slow roasted wagyu prime rib. We shared and I honestly preferred my husband's choosing but overall, deliciously fantastic! My husband and I were a sucker for their breads. Loved how they gave you a variety. The server that we had and chef were absolutely attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was lowkey. The lighting was perfect. And the experience was memorable. You definitely know I will be coming back here more frequently. Thankyou for the sweet anniversary dessert Atlantis Steakhouse! Made our special night a lit one. read more

Wow!!!! We were not expecting such a wonderful experience at a Casino restaurant but Atlantis Steakhouse is superb. The ambience and atmosphere are definitely something to cherish. The service was excellent and our staff went out of their way to make this a memorable dining adventure. For our starter we ordered the salad and it was delicious. We were tempted not to eat it as the presentation was exceptional but we had to try it. The honey mustard dressing and succulent vegetables exploded in our mouths. Definitely worth trying again and again. The steak was also cooked to perfection!!! Rare is how steak should be eaten and the chef cooked it to the T. Every bite tasted like butter melting in our mouths. read more

Fantastic Flaming Fifty's Fare Fabulous service with a flaming flair! Take me back to a time when a dinner date was truly a special occasion--when hair was styled, attire was chosen with care, and the evening unfolded in a beautiful setting with impeccable, over-the-top service. Dining wasn't just about the meal--it was an experience. From the ambiance to the attentive service, every detail came together to create a memorable night. Antonio's flair is a performance in itself. The dramatic tableside finale, with the igniting of the flame on the cherries jubilee brought the evening to a spectacular close. The decor, the comfortable seating , wonderful small details -fresh rose petals adorn the table, and of course Logan and the entire staff made my birthday so special! I love it, I miss it already. and I'm so glad we can return to this timeless experience whenever we visit. We enjoyed the flaming of the Steak Diane, delicious lamb chops and of course baked Alaska and flaming Cherries Jubilee finale! read more

It's a premium experience, but the flawless service, exquisite flavors, and theatrical tableside touches make every dollar worthwhile. The staff greeted us warmly, and the ambiance immediately set the tone. Watching the chefs prepare our Steak right in front of us. The sizzling pan, the delicate swirl of sauce, the aroma filling the air it was a feast for the senses before we even took the first bite. And when we did, the steak itself was nothing short of perfection tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. read more

Located inside the hotel/casino, this steakhouse was a nice surprise. Service was very good--our waiter was friendly, attentive, and helpful with suggestions. They brought butter and bread to the table right away, and there was a good variety of drinks to choose from. The steak was cooked well and tasted great, definitely the highlight of the meal and worth going for. We went on a weekday, and the atmosphere felt a bit more casual than I expected for a steakhouse, especially in a hotel/casino setting, but it was still comfortable. Overall, good service, good food, and a solid option if you're in the area or staying at the hotel. They also have a cool desert to the table with flames and such worth ordering if you have any room after eating everything! The only thing I wasn't too big of a fan of was the potato stuff. Lobster bisque was delicious. We halved the steak and we're still too full for dessert. read more

It's always a treat to visit The Atlantis steakhouse and it was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary dinner. We opted for more of the tableside preparations this trip that always add a bit of fun and excitement to the night. We started with a Caesar salad that was prepared fresh with grated garlic, anchovies, fresh Parmesan, and was a good size portion. Next came the steak Diane, also table side - wonderful fillets of steak cut thin, browned slightly then combined with mushrooms and a rich brown creamy gravy. My husband opted for the special - a large New York steak with asparagus and mashed potatoes. We also ordered a side of scampi that really stole the show - they were one of the largest prawns I have had and would definitely have these as a main entree next time. They had a great selection of wine and cocktails also. I started with a Cosmo and we had two glasses of the Caymus wine that complemented our meals. To finish the night off our server surprised us with a baked Alaska that was a Neapolitan cake surrounded in marshmallow toasted by our server before serving. All in all one of the best dinners out we've had now at both visits over the last few years, in a beautiful setting with top notch service - can't ask for anything more! read more

Casino, fine dining, steakhouse ! This trip to Reno for my hubby birthday was made so much better with this amazing dinner. I don't often partake in fine dining vs home cooked or diner meals. So glad we splurged on this experience. From the moment we arrived we felt like VIPs. Situated in the Atlantis casino down a long bland hallway this restaurant gives old school steakhouse vibes. Host greeted and seated us early. Warm towels to clean our hands and more SILVERWARE than I use daily. Our server was attentive, friendly and helpful. My son was excited to read the menu looking at the various steak options. From wagu to tomahawks. I actually am not a steak person I usually pass on the red meat and I ordered the Chilean sea bass. Delicately cooked with sweet corn Risotto was just so good ! Steak house salad came first with sherry vinaigrette , cranberries and oranges. Nice surprise was the amuse bouche watermelon with whipped goat cheese very nice. Hubby got the t bone which he finished delightfully cooked to perfect temp. Side of asparagus ( large stalks ) and a fully loaded potato. He was in steakhouse heaven. Son got the 6oz fillet, cooked perfect med rare he was very happy and a side of lobster Mac. Very delicious with large portions of lobster. Every aspect of the dinner was carefully thought out. Like a choreographed experience of service. My only item I could comment on was the peach sangria was very sweet but it was very refreshing like a peach soda. But I still enjoyed it. This place was such a treat ! Our leftovers were packed carefully and we even received a bag of coffee cake for later. Since was my hubby birthday he got the baked Alaska ok the house which was the perfect sweet note to end our night. I really waddled out of there happy, full and delighted ! read more

A Fine Dining Experience Worth Savoring -- Every Single Time Atlantis Steakhouse is hands-down one of the finest restaurants in Reno -- a true gem where every visit feels like a celebration. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're treated to an exceptional, top-tier experience that blends luxury, warmth, and unforgettable flavor. The ambiance is elegant and timeless -- think crisp white linens, rose petals, soft lighting, and warm towels offered at the beginning of your meal. Every detail is thoughtfully executed to set the tone for a refined dining experience. We were lucky to be served by Logan, an outstanding waiter who exemplifies professionalism, knowledge, and genuine hospitality. He's been a proud member of the Atlantis team for over five years, and it shows. Attentive, respectful, and approachable -- he made our evening even more special. Now the food... absolutely phenomenal. We started with: Escargot - one of the best I've ever had. Rich, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Bacon-wrapped scallops - cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Each entrée includes a choice of salad or soup: I chose the house salad, which was beautifully plated and fresh. My husband had the coconut clam chowder -- a creative and delicious twist that totally worked. For the main course: I ordered the Diane Steak, one of their signature dishes, prepared tableside. Watching it come together was a treat in itself -- and the taste was pure perfection. My husband opted for the bison tenderloin, beautifully plated with cauliflower purée, sautéed greens, and topped with foraged mushrooms (chanterelles, I believe!) -- an elegant and earthy complement to the dish. For dessert: Since we were celebrating a birthday, they surprised us with a complimentary ice cream cake, complete with a dramatic bourbon flame presentation -- such a fun and thoughtful touch! I also couldn't resist ordering the flourless chocolate cake to satisfy my craving -- and it was the ultimate rich, chocolatey cherry on top of an extraordinary evening. We highly recommend dining at Atlantis Steakhouse, especially for a special occasion. It's a place where you can dress up and fully indulge -- though if you're traveling and don't have dressy clothes, they are gracious and welcoming even if you arrive in casual attire (unlike many high-end steakhouses). This place is truly the gold standard of dining in Reno. We'll be back -- again and again. read more

This has always been a favorite go to steakhouse for us over the years. We like the modern updated decor and ambiance as well as the fine ding service from the staff. During this visit it was quite busy so we had a much longer dining experience than usual. The food was great, steaks cooked perfectly and sides delicious. We especially enjoyed the mashed potatoes and the escargot appetizer. The bread basket is awesome. Lots of options like lavash and rolls with a side of salted butter. Try the roll with cheese swirled throughout. We even asked for a few to go! To finish off your meal don't forget to try the strawberry cheesecake. So delicious with fresh fruit and worth the calories. read more

We also got the Bacon steak, the bacon wrapped scallops, and brussels sprouts with bacon, and the waygu prime rib. The desserts were amazing.... I've been to Atlantis steakhouse many times and I'm finally getting around to making a review. Atlanta actually deserves 4.5 stars and I would rate it that way if I could. First, the service at Atlantis is generally good, but you're going to be waiting. We ate here last Sunday and we were here for 3 hours. Now we don't mind dinner service running long, but if you have a babysitter, be forewarned. The ambiance at Atlantis is always incredible. It's moody but modern. They open the door upon your arrival and always ask what you're celebrating. Each guest is given a warm towel (scented with lemongrass?) at the beginning of dinner to freshen up with. The thing I love most about Atlantis is its consistency. You know what you're getting when you come here. This visit, we ordered the steak Diane (fantastic!), shrimp scampi, 321 below ice cream (Nutella cheesecake flavor) and the gran marnier soufflé (add 30 minutes to dinner service if you order this). Chef Tony came out and cooked them (steak and shrimp) for us table side. He is so professional and he did a great job! There was a snafu with bringing the sides on time, but Tony was professional about it and spoke to the server about the misstep. The steak Diane came out a perfect medium rare, order this if you can! The soufflé and the ice cream (get this too!) were sooooo good!! And make sure you get the complementary coffee cakes they offer at the end! We've been coming here for years and my husband still raves about the coffee cake. They are perfect the next morning with coffee. We asked the server for extras!! read more

Had to reduce my 4 star rating to a three, after receiving the response from Atlantis owner. Come on!!! You can do better than that, and should! Your canned responses to all reviews, show you are bored with your job, and couldn't care less about the guest experience, good or bad. You should be fired, as you are not putting a good light on the company. The review response is your opportunity to make a good impression on people deciding whether or not to patronize your establishment, and you have failed! Obviously, you should expect slow, poor service, and your review will fall on deaf ears. read more

We had a wonderful evening at the steakhouse with a party of six. The martinis were excellent, and the Manhattan was very good. We all had a great time! For a steakhouse, the atmosphere and service were top-notch; dishes appeared and disappeared smoothly, and the staff was wonderful. The only minor thing was that the steak was a bit too done; we had ordered it medium-rare, and it came out well-done. The dessert, bananas foster was not up to what we know it could be. My son and I visited the steakhouse for the first time in celebration of our birthdays. It was so fun to get dressed up on a weeknight and hit the town! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside and all of the staff that we encountered were so lovely. Stephen was our server and he was wonderful! We started our meal with escargot, which is something that my son and I had never tried. We knew it was a ln adventurous order for us, so we weren't surprised when we realized it definitely wasn't for us. This had nothing to so with the way it was prepared, but just wasn't our things. We both ordered the steak Diane. Mine came with a salad that had a sherry vinaigrette dressing, which was delicious and refreshing! My son got the lobster bisque for an up charge, which was well worth it! So rich and creamy! Our steak Diane was prepared by Oscar, who was wonderful! The presentation and taste were amazing! We opted not to get a dessert because we were so full, but Atlantis was kind enough to provide us with a complimentary baked Alaska that was so fun to blow out! We ended our amazing evening with our leftovers being boxed up and bagged and we're also given coffee cakes to go. This was a wonderful experience and a night that I hope my son will remember forever! Thank you Atlantis! read more

Someone ranked this a Forbes 4 star steakhouse. What a JOKE. I ordered there best Rib Eve and it was tough, basically uneatable. I would rank it -5. The head waiter did a good job but his assistant was inattentive. The ambiance was terrible with loud children running through and around the tables. The cost was over $300. and was not worth maybe $40.00 at best. I would never visit this restaurant nor recommend to anyone. You would think a Forbes 4 Star should live up to at least a 2 star steakhouse or even a low budget steak. Thanks for ruining our anniversary. You should be ashamed. read more

Still one of the BEST steakhouses in Northern Nevada. We came here to celebrate my birthday and I was blown away with the service, ambiance and food! For drinks we split a small bottle of Duck Horn Merlot. For food, I had the house salad and my husband had the French onion soup. Sadly, the balsamic dressing was not a real dressing, but just balsamic oil, next time I will ask for Italian. We both had the petite filet mignon and he had his with their blue cheese. We split their loaded baked potato, because they are huge! At the end we both had a shot of espresso, and were gifted a Baked Alaska for my birthday treat. We also took a piece of cheesecake home along with their coffee cake. read more

This experience was unbelievable, and unexpected. With a last minute pivot for a valentines celebration, we came here since the restaurant we originally made a reservation at was closed. Needless to say we were impressed. The restaurant makes you feel like you're dining under the sea with classy and tasteful decor. Our server was Allan, who is a real pro, never missing a beat and making sure we were topped off with drinks at all times. Even helped take a couples photo for us. Upon sitting we ordered cocktails and were served an amuse-bouche which should have tipped us off to what we were in store for. It was a crostini with avocado crème and a spicy shrimp, and we wanted to order a plate of them. We also ordered a super fresh ahi tartare which was balanced with a wasabi aioli, creamy avocado and crisp cucumber served with wonton chips. We are foodies so of course we ordered a second appetizer. The pork belly lollipops were irresistible. Plated with a maple ponzu glaze, these little crispy yet melt in your mouth pieces of succulent pork were a solid choice. Paired with our entree was a crisp and delicious house salad and a savory lobster bisque with chunks of delicious lobster with a heavy cream float. Every layer of bisque from the lobster broth to the sherry could be tasted. When our entrees came we had little room for them, however every bite was an enjoyment of culinary expertise. My wife ordered the Chilean sea bass which was flaky and moist with red pepper risotto tenderly layered with complex flavors and sautéed spinach with a delectable champagne burr blanc sauce. I ordered the special of the night which was a huge Australian waygu New York strip Oscar style packed high crab, tasty bernaise and delicious asparagus coupled with a perfectly seared and tender scallop, and 2 prawns that were so perfectly cooked and flavorful. Even though I live in Las Vegas, I have rarely had a meal so delicious. I struggled to walk out of the restaurant after eating, while still carrying a bag full of food. 12/10 would return. read more

I've been coming here for years. It's always been a very pleasant experience. This last time was after a few years after my last visit, the cuisine was slightly different and the cost was nearly doubled. The servers were Logan and Nancy, and they were okay. Not like the old joker Alex who used to be our "go-to" server. These two were so serious and I felt a little rushed into my order. This place had a fun vibe, and being a customer here normally meant you'd be in for a sweet treat and wonderful ride. The bread that came out was dry and slightly stale. That used to be my favorite part. I gotta admit this last visit felt more like a used car dealership. No offense to my servers but you need to bee a little more cool when providing service here. Table spacing, presentation, when to remove silverware all felt unnatural and clumsy. We ordered a crab cake appetizer. A lot going on in there didn't taste like crab, but I think it's okay. Steak Diane is prepared in front of your table with a nice little fire show. I got the filet mignon and I added the Alaskan King crab. $110 for two short and bland legs. Seriously, that really sucked. I felt horribly ripped off. It was definitely not worth it. Some seafood places don't charge you over a hundred bucks for a full meal, and those crab legs are bursting with flavor. We also got the bourbon creamed corn and the garlic mashed potatoes. The bourbon neutralizes and cancels out the sweetness of the corn. I wasn't a fan. The garlic mashed potatoes were a very large helping, but I didn't think we needed it because the plates already came with small amounts of it. It was our friend's birthday and they did bring us a small dessert which was free but the bill still over $360, with tip making it around 420. Overall this place is still an experience. Maybe one day it will be like it use to be and perhaps will be worth it. But if you do come in, expecting what this place use to be like, you will not find what you are looking and you should be a slightly prepared to be upset. read more

Another rough review. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4. Short summary: The food was okay, but the service was lacking... Quality/Quantity - Decent selection of breads, but it did not seem fresh...? Was it sitting out for a while...? Did you bake and prepare this too early...? A day old...? The butter was very soft with a little salt sprinkled on top. Fancy side dishes of salt. Okay, now onto the food: Tuna Cucumber Palate Cleanser - It was just okay. If you are following, you know we eat a lot of poke, sushi, etc. House Salad - Pretty impressive, loved the plating. Maybe I should have gotten this instead of the shrimp kale soup?!?! House Soup - Shrimp Kale. My soup was the only one that had a piece of shrimp in the middle. Actually, I think I might have had a few lobster pieces. The other two people only got kale, it made for many good jokes throughout the night. Crab Salad - This was just okay, our guest did not finish it... Sea Bass - My wife loved this, 5 stars! Decent portions. Prime Rib - Generous portion. I felt like it was more than 16 ounces. I actually could not finish it, which is rare for me. Although I am a light eater, I can still polish off a pound of really well prepared meats!!! Guess this was not perfectly prepared. I would have preferred it just a little rarer. I also finished my asparagus but gave away my mashed potatoes. King Salmon - Nice enough to split plates, and with no extra charge. Scallops - Interesting. Not sure how to describe them...? See pictures. Here is the menu description - Maine Lobster Crust, Champagne Beurre Blanc, Lemon-Herb Couscous, Sea Beans, Cherry Tomatoes, Mini Vegetables, Onion Tuile. Guess my buddy liked them as he finished it all and that huge baked potato. Thick Cut Fries - Done well, but I prefer a thinner cut. Our very young guest ordered this and took the leftovers home. Baked Potato Side - my buddy devoured this, as he usually does. For dessert: Table Side Service, Crepes Suzette - My wife enjoyed this more than me. And we gave our young guest most of the whip cream. Flourless Cake - Two orders. Sorry, I was too busy watching our table side service to notice our guests finished eating their cakes, lol. Thank you for the coffee cake for our next morning's breakfast. It was pretty good and not sweet at all. Atmosphere - Beautiful decor. See pictures. A bar in the front and in the rear of the place. Not sure if the rear bar is just for employees servicing the dining area? Private (and semi private) dining available. Plenty of casino parking, even with a convention today. Open 5 days a week from 5pm to 10pm; closed on Monday and Tuesdays. Oh, you have to leave the restaurant to use the casino restrooms. Service - The waiter struggled a little here. I think he had a hard time hearing...? And he did not really know his menu. He struggled with my first glass of wine. And I even showed him the picture on his iPad for the wines I wanted. See my pictures of his iPad pictures, lol. And also, I had to ask both the waiter and the busboy too often for more water. And they still never filled our waters often enough... Love the warm hand towels before and after dinner. A nice touch. Price - $394 + more generous tip than earned... Do you give local discounts? Like your competitors? 20% off for locals? I forgot to ask... Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1996...? Were you here when Atlantis first opened? Did you first acquire this casino from Clarian? read more

Had a reservation for 6:30 on a Sunday night. Took a while to get seated first table the waitress took us too were already sat totally fine we waited then we ordered our drinks from maybe three different servers that asked us if we had ordered our drinks non alcoholic cocktails. Yet it took a good 30 min to receive or drink and yet another server came up and told us the chef specials and the soup and salad I ordered the chef special it sounded ok a fish and filet and mashed potato's and asparagus my boyfriend ordered shrimp scampi. We got soup and salad and I got oysters. I always love oysters. These came with three sauces the vinaigrette was not to my liking but to each their own we also got a bread basket took another good 20 mins to get our soups and salads and yet another 20 for our man courses my boyfriends was made in front of us very impressive and by the assistant manager. My steak was cooked nicely the soup was good I tried my boyfriends. My salad a little bland but hey it's a salad. Didn't like the fish but I tried it. We got crème brûlée for dessert it was very good and they gave us complimentary coffee cake when we left. Probably would go to western village next time. read more

My favorite steak house in Reno. Everytime we've come here for birthdays or anniversary's we've had great experiences. Waiters are always prompt and checking in on us, don't tend to go too long without getting checked in on. Steak quality is top notch, ranged from the American wagyu to dry aged steaks. Typical steak house environment so nothing too far off there, but the food and service is always great. read more
