Love Gordon Ramsay but never tried any of his restaurants. Made reservations the day before and they had lots of availability for a Saturday night. Their reservations require a 24 hour cancellation or be charged $25 per person. We arrived half an hour early and checked in with the hostess in case we could be seated early. Ended up having to wait til our reservation time. We were seated near the bar which had a nice, relaxing ambience and not as noisy. All of the staff including the hostesses, our server, Yasmin, and other servers were friendly and helpful with our first dining experience. Water was always topped off and dishes were cleared right away. We tried the famous beef Wellington, pan seared scallops, bouillabaisse, eggplant and tuna tartare. All of the dishes had great flavors but the beef Wellington could have had a crispier crust and slightly warmer temp. To finish our meal we ordered the lemon blueberry cheesecake and their sticky toffee pudding. Omg we loved both desserts! Perfectly paired flavors and great textures. read more

We came here for our anniversary dinner a couple of weeks ago. It was a day after we went to Roxy's. If you go to both restaurants back to back, I'd suggest coming here first before you go to Roxy's or you would be a little disappointed. Otherwise, when we came in, they sat us right in front of the noisy kitchen with a view of the casino walkway right after telling them that we were celebrating an anniversary. My guess is that was where they have the intimate booth seating available so I don't know how else they could have seated us. Maybe put up more dividers at the front of the restaurant? That was alright though. We were looking forward to trying this place out. From there, the service was fantastic! The hostess was really friendly. Our server was very attentive and checked in on us a reasonable amount of time. We had our drinks refilled as well. The food, however, was good but I wouldn't say the Beef Wellington was worth the $70 spent. It is probably a dish that is one and done. I've tried it and now let's move on to something else. However, the best thing about the dinner though??? We received a complimentary Sticky Toffee Pudding to celebrate our special day. It was soooo good. We have never had anything like it. First time here! Got the classics - beef Wellington, prime rib, lamb chops, and toffee sticky pudding! For starters, got the Mac and cheese and crab cakes. All choices were flavorful, delicious, and cooked to liking. Only concern was most dishes except the toffee pudding, came out slightly warm to room temp. We prefer very warm-hot meals. Service was 10/10! Our server, Cami, was absolutely awesome. Very attentive, kind, and funny. Helped us around the menu with great recommendations. Gordon Ramsay would be yelling expletives! The prime rib and au jus was flavorless! The Mac and cheese was so salty we couldn't eat it. Idk what they did to the next batch which was also salty but not as bad. Maybe rinsed it with water that's why it took 20+ mins plus to replace. The scallops was slightly overcooked. The only saving grace was the beef Wellington. 300 plus tip for 3 people and worse meal I ever had in Reno. Smelled like cigarette smoke in the restaurant too ... We made a reservation for dinner and drinks at Ramsay's Kitchen, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is wonderful. Very calm, dim, and intimate. For cocktails, we tried the Witches Elixir and the Primavera, both of which were excellent. Our server, I believe her name is Cami, was absolutely amazing and checked in on us regularly. Since it was our first time, she walked us through the menu and shared her top recommendations. She highlighted the Beef Wellington as the star of the show and suggested the Watermelon Greek Salad. We decided to get the Beef Wellington, and it was absolutely phenomenal, it came with a delicious side of purée potatoes. We also shared the Watermelon Greek Salad, sticky chicken, and mac & cheese. The salad was incredible; it was sweet, savory, and hit the perfect balance. The sticky chicken had a great little kick of spice balanced with a mango flavor. Four for dinner. We were seated promptly. One specialty smokey whiskey cocktail ordered, he really enjoyed it. It was $55. Our orders were taken in a timely manner. The meals of bouillabaisse, specialty chicken, scallops, and Beef Wellington were all excellent. Best scallops I have ever had, served with very good broccolini. They were the second plate of scallops as the server accidently dropped the first plating into my lap. Fortunately, my napkin caught the contents. No harm done, new plate quickly served. We were celebrating our 61st Anniversary. They brought complimentary wine and sticky pudding for dessert. Restsurant was quiet. Great experience. We will be back. read more

I hate to say this, but our dinner at Ramsay's Kitchen was a bit disappointing the other night. We considered Roxy, which I love, but this was a birthday dinner for a visiting Bay Area friend of mine who's in the industry so we went with Ramsay's due to it being a bit more formal. A couple of things that jumped out to me when looking over the menu was that they've removed some of their better dishes (the whole roasted branzino and the crispy agedashi-style eggplant) while keeping their worst (I'm looking at you, pan-seared scallops). We ordered a few starters, none of which really shone save for the carpaccio ($29). The lamb lollypops ($25) were cooked medium, the roasted bone marrow canoes ($20) were almost completely devoid of marrow and the accompanying toast was mostly carbonized. It was a poor start, and somewhat embarrassing to be honest. I ordered the 16oz New York steak ($95), which was flavorful but cooked closer to medium than the medium rare I ordered...At this price, it really should have been prepared a bit more thoughtfully. My friend had the prime rib ($70), which was pretty good. Not worth the price, perhaps, but at least it was presented rare as ordered and full of flavor. The roasted broccolini side dish ($15) was nice and crunchy and the flavors worked well together. Service was amazing (I think our waitresses' name was Natalie, and she was perhaps the nicest server I've ever had), and they gave my friend a sticky pudding on the house for his birthday. So here's the issue: for these prices (even considering the 20% locals discount), there are SO many better steakhouses in town. The aforementioned Roxy, Toro Bravo, J Pauls, Anthony's Chophouse to name a few. I mean, if Gordon saw what passed for bone marrow canoes or the scallops I had on a prior visit that could not have been worse, he'd have a fit. And it would be justly deserved. What a great experience we had this last time around while visiting Ramsay's Kitchen at the Silver Legacy!!! We had a show to attend and the timing was changed unbeknownst to me so it quickly became a rushed dining experience. Even though it was all cut a little short, it also left a lot to be returned for! Absolutely can't wait to go back for another fabulous pineapple drink experience and phenomenal food happening. Also, Joe, our incredible table-side libation magician was beyond phenomenal all the way around. He left us with a great impression, big smiles, and with that I'm definitely looking forward to another visit very soon! Made our reservation via website. It wasn't needed. I paid an extra $25 to seat near the kitchen hoping there'd be a lot of hustle and bustle. Sadly not. The kitchen was quiet and well oiled. An Amuse bouche was brought out by chef. I believe that's what my $25 paid for. It was a tiny but mighty spoonful of scallop on top of potatoes purée. Beef Wellington did not disappoint one bit. The mixed salad with candied almonds and Fuji apples was really good. Jennifer, our waitress was very understanding and ensured they made a special order for me with two boiled eggs for protein. (I can't eat even sauté vegetables that are cross contaminated by being cooked on the same grill as meat, poultry or fish). Not many options for pure vegetarians as usual. A vegetable dish cooked on the same grill as the meat is NOT a vegetarian option. A friend treated me to a "fancy" night out for my birthday bringing me to Ramsay's kitchen. Unfortunately being a vegetarian and Valentine's Day weekend they had a special menu and weren't willing to veer from that. (There was a specific vegetarian dish she wanted me to try that she's had there before and she said it was delicious which was the reason for bringing me here). After looking at the price my jaw dropped but my sweet friend insisted it was her treat and I figured if I'm going to eat meat it might as well be at such a nice place so I ordered the fish. It was cooked well and had nice flavors but was too rich. The Cesar salad we had before it was mediocre and huge like two other people could have shared it. Dessert was also good but I can't remember what it even was so maybe that should tell you something. The staff were quite nice and good people watching being at the casino but I can think of a lot of other ways to that much money at smaller local places in town. read more

We randomly walked in to see if they were accepting walk ins, and the hostess was very welcoming and seated us right away. We ordered both appetizers and entrées. The server asked if it was okay to bring out the salad and eggplant first, with the rest to follow, and we agreed. However, we didn't expect it to take nearly 30 more minutes for the remaining dishes to arrive. The wait felt long, especially since we were hoping to enjoy the steak together with the eggplant and sides. When the entrées finally came out, the salmon was undercooked. We informed the server, and he immediately apologized and offered to replace it. Given the extended wait, we decided to cancel it instead. The steak, however, was delicious and cooked perfectly! No complaints there. The sauce served with it wasn't good. The restaurant itself is very nice and modern. Because of the delay and the issue with the salmon, our waiter kindly comped our dessert. He was very polite and accommodating throughout the evening. For the quality, the price is reasonable, and we'd absolutely dine here again. Shoutout to our courteous server (Jose?) and the perfectly prepared steak. This is our second time dining here. On a trip to Reno, we noticed there was a restaurant by Gordon Ramsay and decided to check it out. Upon arriving, we were immediately seated without a reservation. Surprisingly, the restaurant was only about one-third full on a Friday evening. After chatting with our server, we learned the menu features staple items along with a few seasonal additions. The prime rib and the beef Wellington immediately caught our attention. We also added a slider as an appetizer and ordered Brussels sprouts as an extra side with our entrées. While I'm personally not the biggest fan of beef Wellington, it was beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. My prime rib was also cooked exactly as requested, and the au jus served with it was uniquely delicious -- more like a rich, reduced syrup that packed an incredible amount of flavor. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Overall, it's definitely a great spot for celebrations and special occasions. read more

Ramsay's Kitchen has definitely raised the bar for steak house in Northern Nevada. We had the most amazing experience at Ramsay's Kitchen in the Silver Legacy. Our reservation was set for 6pm, we arrived a few minutes early and were sat right away. Our table was located in the back by the kitchen which was an expensive all by it self. Our waitress greeted us right away. She explained what the drink special were and dinner specials. We order our drinks first. I order a glass of Mumm champagne and my husband order their new age Smokey old fashion. Our friends order a gin and tonic and a Smokey old fashion. The Smokey old fashions were served to us table side. What a great experience this was. Then, we moved to ordering our appetizers. I ordered the Lamb pops and my husband order the tuna tartar. Our friend ordered the same thing as well. The appetizers were out of this world. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the tuna had the most beautiful red color. The flavors were amazing. Next, we ordered a Caesar salad to split. The dress was fantastic. Finally, we order our entree. My husband order the pork chops and I order the salmon. Our friends both order the beef Wellington. Between the texture and favorite our entree were fantastic. Ramsay's Kitchen set the stage for us to want more. We already made our next reservation for June. read more

While my husband and I stayed in Reno last month, we decided to go to dinner at Ramsay's Kitchen since it was within walking distance of our hotel and also because I enjoy watching Master Chef and wanted to try Gordon Ramsay's restaurant. We made reservations for the Early Bird Special as we figured it would be less busy. The ambiance is great - great service and nice and quiet, despite being in a casino. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us every so often. As the choices are limited for the Early Bird Special, we both ordered the crab cake with micro greens, the pan seared scallops with the yuzu-ponzu chicken demi and the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. Both positive and negative regarding our dinner. The negative: 1. The menu verbally read to us versus us seeing an actual menu so we could see exactly what was in the dish. 2. My husband's scallops were underdone. 3. The yuzu-ponzu chicken demi which is provided in a small pitcher for pouring on your scallops was so extremely salty I honestly don't know how this is even served. Fortunately, the server who brought our scallops had warned us that the demi was very salty. My husband and I had each placed a few drops on the scallops and even those few drops were so intense. A better choice would probably be for the restaurant to have a lemon butter sauce or another sauce not so salty for the scallops. The positive: 1. The crab cake with the micro greens was simply delicious. 2. My scallops were perfectly pan seared (unfortunately, I did not take a picture). 3. The Sticky Toffee Pudding - absolutely yummy! 4. My son is a huge MasterChef fan and absolutely loves Gordon Ramsay, so when we found out he had a restaurant in Reno, we knew we had to have dinner here during our trip. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the drinks and appetizers to our entrées. By the end of the meal, we were way too full to try dessert! We were intrigued by Mr. Ramsays Beef Wellington so we made a reservation to have dinner and try it out. When you arrive they check you in for your reservation and we did have to wait for about 10 minutes after our reservation time to be seated which I didn't mind but the hosts didn't communicate this, they just told us we were checked in and didn't direct us to stand or let us know we'd be waiting we were the ones having to check back in on when we'd be seated. Once seated our server was great, she gave us a run down of the menu and favorite items and was very knowledgeable on the menu. My husband ordered the smoked old fashion that comes with a show! You can pick which bourbon you like and flavors to be added in, we thought this was really cool. The bread rolls are fantastic, we ordered 2 rounds for the table. The oysters were good, but I did have to loosen the meat from the shell more, they were still stuck on pretty good. Our favorite was the Beef Wellington, it is as good as portrayed. The Demi sauce is delicious. I had ordered the $92 New York steak, and was disappointed to see it came with one tomato slice. I thought it would be like a caprese style of grape tomatoes and definitely more sides for the price. I didn't get pictures but we tried the lamb lollipops and they had great flavor but slightly over cooked, and the salmon. I thought the plating of the salmon and flavors of the sides were great, the fish itself was a bit fishy. Overall we would come back here again and would likely stick with the Wellington! read more

I don't think this is highlighted on their menu. The $100 tasting menu is a good way to try a number of the dishes that Gordon Ramsey is known for. Crab cake or salad starter, Beef Wellington, and Sticky toffee pudding. Food is executed to the expected standard. It's location can get loud due to being open to the upper level of Silver Legacy. On the plus side, it's much easier to get into than many of the flagship locations for GR without being overly pricey. read more

I would give 0 star if allowed. I am very upset with this place. I make my reservation a month in advance specially for the Sunday menu for my birthday. They accepted my reservation for the Sunday menu and even sent me a follow up email confirming the reservation the day of. We drove 140+ miles to Reno to spend my special weekend. We were all dressed up and very excited for the dinner. When we arrived, the restaurant told us they are not serving the Sunday menu because its a long weekend Labor Day and canceled my reservation. Why they accepted my reservation and still sent me a confirmation email the day of for the Sunday menu. I would not be so upset if they let me know in advance so I can make other arrangements. Plus Gas is $6 a gallon now. read more

We have been to other Ramsey restaurants and knew what we were getting into. You are going to pay for a nice meal and should not be the impetus of a negative review, not getting what you paid for could be.To be clear we had a fantastic experience and anything negative here we nuisances and did not ruin the experience. We'll be back when the occasion is right. My wife wanted the Beef Wellington so she got the prix fixe meal with the Crab Cake and Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. The crab cake was awesome - lightly breaded outside with very flavorful crab on the inside. The three of us shared this with plenty for all. The pudding was also perfect - exactly as we have had at other venues. The Wellington was very good though we have had better at Hell's Kitchen. Seemed like the pastry and mushroom didn't adhere very well and basically fell apart as she was eating it. The flavor and temperature were very good though. Only complaint was the "root vegetables" were one tiny turnip and carrot, both boiled with no flavor - they did not make sense on the plate. Mom got the Sunday Roast. It was cooked perfectly medium - mom asked for medium well as she didn't not want it rare. The medium was perfect. Yorkshire pudding, au jus and vegetables all very good. Only negative was the horseradish was basically hidden by the pudding thus both mom and my wife got a mouthful which was unpleasant to say the least. I got the "surf and turf" - short ribs and a lobster tail with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Absolutely perfect. I could have eaten a bit more but know I would get to help mom and my wife. As we said - we knew exactly what we were getting into and feel the meal equaled the price point. Only go if you are ready to spend $150 per person (which includes a drink and tip). Sign up for Caesar's Players club if you're local and you'll get 20% off - saved us $80 (the tip). We had the Thanksgiving prix fixe at Ramsay's Kitchen and had a mixed experience overall. We were surprised that cozy seating was so limited; while the restaurant is dark with some really nice decorative lighting, it opens to the Silver Legacy walkway--seated at a small two-seater near the bar and kind of in the middle of the restaurant, we couldn't help but notice the smoke/casino cleaner smell permeating the whole area. It was a turnoff. Our waiter was very nice and energetic, which we appreciated, but unfortunately she didn't ensure that the onion allergy we noted was minded by the cooking staff, so we had to send a dinner course back. The food itself, particularly for this themed menu, was unbalanced. We each ordered the different selection from the starter and main, and in both cases the portion sizes were way off. My wife had a large salad; my squash soup, while tasty, barely filled the bowl. My wife's prime rib roast was practically spilling off the plate; my turkey dinner was meager. The worst part for me was that the food was mediocre at best. The turkey by itself was fine--a little juicy even--but it was smothered in near-flavorless gravy and both the turkey and gravy were sat atop a sad almost puddinglike bit of mashed potatoes that was way too salty. Also disappointing was the cranberry sauce--nicely prepared but too warm and flavorless. We didn't necessarily have the highest expectations, but we were still pretty disappointed, especially when you factor in the high price of everything. Yay, celebrity chef marketing! I'm not a fan of the whole trend of "Lets put a famous chef's name on the building even though they only visit for the opening, and none of the current kitchen staff has met, let alone been interviewed or trained by a said chef." But I said I would go to every restaurant in Reno, so I decided to give Ramsay's Kitchen a fair shot. We ate at the bar, as we didn't have a reservation, but the place was not that busy. The host gave us the "You don't have a reservation and expect us to seat you at a table, even though we have waiters standing around." look, and told us that we could sit at the bar. Our bartender (Bryce I think) on the other hand was very nice and helpful. We ordered the crab cake, and the crispy skin salmon, based on his recommendations between the items we were interested in. The crab cake itself was really good, pretty much all flavorful crab meat, and probably the best thing we got. Unfortunately it was drowned in a tartar sauce that completely overpowered the actual crab cake. The crispy salmon skin was good, but a little over-cooked, and the sauces that came with it were a little bland. At $80 for the single app and main I expected a little more quality across the whole plate. Finally I don't think my review would be complete without mentioning the oddity of having a fine dinning restaurant with an open bar that's parallel to the Silver Legacy's main walkway, with all the noise, and bustle spilling over into the dinning area. On one hand it's entertaining, but it was also distracting, and gave the whole thing a cheap feel, that is at odds with the menu prices. Also we went late-ish on a Thursday night, and could hear the bad karaoke from the rum bar across the walk-way, which badly clashed with the restaurant music. Overall, if I was staying at the Silver Legacy I might go, but I'd probably just walk over to Roxy's instead if I was looking for a fine dining experience on site. read more

Let me preface that more stars would be given if it wasn't for the simple fact that to me Ramsey restaurants are held to a higher accountability. I've been patronizing them since around 2012 and some of my greatest culinary experiences have been in attendance of a Ramsey restaurant by name. Beer and also took a hard pass on Coors Edge My crab cake was well formed and prepared but the aioli was sub par to what I'd expect The Caesar salad, while interesting was barely dressed. However I'd say the egg (perfect) and the pancetta was quite good on execution and flavor- redeeming The mains were mid to mid+ The steak, while well prepared I just couldn't comprehend how peppery the sauce was, I realize it was a peppercorn sauce but my god the peppercorn was over the top I sent back my scallops- the quality of the scallops were lacking for them to be so undercooked and rubbery I did enjoy my branzino though. Started with the Spicy Peach Margarita -- sweet, fiery, and so good. It had that perfect little kick that keeps you sipping. The Caesar Salad was next-level -- pancetta, soft-boiled egg, crushed croutons, and parm. A chopped Caesar (my weakness!) done right. The Chicken Milanese came out golden and crispy, topped with fried prosciutto, Gruyère, and a Dijon cream sauce with arugula. Not my personal fave, but still flavorful and fun to eat. We shared the wings (so good -- love the mini drumstick style!) and my husband's Branzino was bright and citrusy with that perfect lime finish. He also ordered the Brussels sprouts with pork belly, which were crispy, rich, and full of flavor -- definitely a must-try side. Second visit to the kitchen. Came with a couple friends/colleagues for a work diner. Three of us. We were excited to try the Beef Wellington this time. This is a famous dish of the well known chef. We started out with some appetizers. The pork sliders were quite good. A juicy patty of pork over a blended slaw on a daft buttery bun. Next was the Tuna tartare. This was outstanding. A hint of spice with that unique flavor of sesame oil, the seasoning on this dish, while simple, really worked well. Served with a dollop of crème fraiche and tortilla crisps. My only complaint was that it came with two chips. Cmon, I know this is supposed to be a fancy restaurant, but give me some chips to scoop up all this delicious fish with! Next up were the crab cakes. Living in Maryland for a few years, I know a great deal about crab and crab dishes. I prefer my crab cakes to be mostly "crab" and very little "cake!" This dish fit the bill. A warm and delicious rendering was perfectly made and one of the top crab cakes I've experienced outside of Maryland. For dinner I ordered the Caesar salad. I asked for anchovies on it, but unfortunately, they did not have them available. The salad came out quickly. It was a good size portion, but I noticed something right away. The dish was on was very cold and it was my first bite of salad. I realize that the salad had been premade and was sitting in a cooler just waiting for my order. The lettuce did not seem fresh. It was not a very tasty salad. I ended up asking them to take it back. I was very displeased. For our entrées, two of us ordered the beef Wellington one of us had the fillet. My colleague who ordered the flag asked the server how the medium rare was and she said it was a warm pink center. So she said I like mine cooked a little bit more I'd rather have it medium. Well, her state came out closer to rare than anything I've seen in quite a while. I was shocked. Our beef Wellington's came out. They're individually made and cut in half served with a very tasty demi-glacé. The presentation was very nice. They looked excellent but the taste? Meh! Surprisingly quite bland and nothing to write home about. With a $69.95 price tag. I expected much more. While I was dying, I noticed that there were many open tables. I don't even think the place was 10% full based on some of the disappointing dishes that we all had that evening. I'm starting to see why. I can tell you this much your money can be spent for much better food elsewhere. I won't be coming back again the bottom line it's overpriced and very mediocre food at best. I visited this location when I went to visit family in Reno. This location for Ramsay's Kitchen is located inside the Silver Legacy and right next to Ramsay's Fish & Chips. We went on a Sunday in the middle of the day and we were seated very quickly. It was a sweet time in between lunch and dinner. The staff were very poise and friendly. We requested some changes to our meal and it was easily doable. Instead of "removing" the pancetta, they just made our meal without it which I appreciated. The aesthetic and vibe of this restaurant was vibey indeed. The lighting was low but centered lighting to the table to be able to read the menu and even take some cute photos. Compared to Hell's Kitchen (in Las Vegas) it was a lot more quiet and intimate. Hell's Kitchen is more upbeat and a very busy location. It just depends on the vibe you're going for. The food is also pretty much the same menu. I absolutely loved eating here and found some new favorites and some old favorites. We originally came to eat dessert aka THE sticky toffee pudding (if you know you know). It is one of the Ramsay dessert favorites amongst many people. I did have it once before at Hell's Kitchen and was super excited to have it again. On the other hand, I tried the Caesar salad and Mac & cheese for the first time. Menu Items I ordered: - Caesar Salad: An easy go-to! If all else fails this is what you order. I will say it was one of the most delicious Caesar salads I have tried to date. - Butternut Squash Soup: It was very tasty but not fulfilling so you're going to inevitably order more food after this one. - Roasted Baby Beets Salad: So I'm going to start by saying I am not a huge beets fan but I gave it a try. There was too much going on and not enough in my opinion. I felt like the salad itself was not very substantial and that I was perfectly fine sticking with the old and true which is the Caesar salad. It was good but not something I would recommend. - Mac & Cheese: Probably the best thing we ordered for my 7 year old nephew but we all wanted to eat it. This was the fanciest Mac and cheese I've ordered out. Like you don't give it to the kids but enjoy it yourself hehe. This was made with smoked cheddar cheese and my goodness was it the perfect balance of creamy and crunchy. Even if you don't want to order this, you should just do it anyway. Trust me. - Sticky Toffee Pudding: So this pudding is absolutely delicious but a little too sweet in my opinion. The sauce that is on top of the pudding over sweetens the dessert but having the ice cream on top is a huge game changer! Everyone's sweet tolerance is different and if you've never tried this dessert you have to! Parking: Easy! Our group met at the Silver Legacy to try Ramsay's Kitchen -- and get the Early Dining Special Menu. This is a three-course menu for $59.95 that is only available from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. There was a choice between a crab cake or Caesar salad first course, several different mains, and a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream for dessert. I have to say that it was a heck of a deal -- on the regular menu, the filet alone is $60. So how was it? The crab cake was loaded with crab with just enough filler to hold it together, the way a crab cake should be. It rested on a citrus herb aioli with a micro greens and orange wedge salad alongside. Each element was tasty on its own, but together, the flavors melded perfectly. The filet was cooked to each of our specifications (4 people, 4 different levels of doneness). I like my filet rare and this actually was rare. Nice. The cognac dijon peppercorn sauce was a bit spicy for my taste, but the waiter asked if we wanted it on the side or on top of the steak, so it was easy to just have a dab or two -- primarily on my perfectly "al dente" broccolini that came alongside. The sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream was super sweet, super sticky, and super delicious. Our waiter was friendly, professional, and had mastered the art of showing up right when we wanted him to. We brought a couple of bottles of wine for the dinner and he expertly served them and kept them at the perfect temperature. Our group sat at the table and caught up for awhile and at no point did we feel unwelcome or encouraged to leave. All in all, it was a lovely evening, a delightful restaurant, and, without a doubt, the best staff I've encountered in a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. read more

Girl, bye. This place was all hype and no substance. For the price, I expected standout food and service, but both were a letdown. The staff seemed disinterested, and the food was just... meh. The Beef Wellington tasted more like a bland roast beef sandwich than a signature dish. Even the Old Fashioned special show was all sparks no substance. Nothing felt unique, it gave basic chain steakhouse vibes at fine dining prices. Location was oddly in the middle of Silver Legacy so it did not feel too fancy. You're only paying for the brand name. I give it two stars because the food was edible and restaurant decor was nice... but the bill was $600+ for a group of 5??? We had a great experience at Ramsay's Kitchen and would absolutely come back. We ordered the crab cake, beef Wellington, and the fontina & truffle ravioli. The crab cake was our favorite. The Wellington lived up to the hype. It was rich, tender, and beautifully prepared. The only letdown was the ravioli. It looked great but was bland, lacked flavor and just didn't stand out compared to the other dishes. Service was exceptional from start to finish. A really nice touch: we casually mentioned my husband's birthday was coming up, and they surprised us with their sticky toffee pudding. It was amazing! It was sweet, rich, and something we definitely would've ordered ourselves. Overall, it was a memorable night with great food and even better service.
