Basil Lemonade

Great evening out with a group of ten. Excellent service. Appetizers of coconut shrimp, onion rings and everything else on the app menu. All the food served fast for this large group. Filet Mignon, rib eyes and strip steaks were all very good. Generous seasoned butter topping. We ordered all the sides to share except the baked potatoes. Excellent mushrooms, potato au gratin and Mac & Cheese. Interesting cocktails Basil Lemonade was very good. I think the steak sauces should be included not an extra charge. Small dining room so make reservations. Mix of tables and high tops.

A sleeper vibe you don't want to miss. As a local, this feels like a speakeasy - great for small groups, work dinners, and the solo "I don't want to cook" dinner at the bar. The food is consistent, the service is straightforward, the whiskey selection is on point. My go to's are: ribeye, maple bacon old fashioned, starter wedge salad, and the potatoes au gratin (or the Brussels if they're on!). Absolutely one of my top 5 faves in town.

I haven't been for dinner, but what an awesome place for happy hour! We went as a large group for a birthday and got all sorts of things to share. We were there early in the day and there were the only group and we sat outside under the umbrellas on a warm fall day. For drinks we ordered the basil lemonade, the maple bacon old fashioned, and the barrel aged manhattan. The whiskey cocktails were really good and strong. We got all sorts of food including 2 steaks: New York strip and Ribeye, the BBQ chicken, ribs, truffle parmesan fries, onion rings, and caesar salad. Everything was good but there were a few highlights. The steaks were great with and without the sauces. In particular I really enjoyed the chimichurri sauce. The truffle parm fries were also so good with the steak and I really liked the caesar salad and the anchovies on top. Our server was super nice and even brought us warm snickerdoodles at the end of our meal to celebrate the birthday boy. A great experiene and definitely a spot in the happy hour rotation!

The food is decent for the price- portions are reasonable, sides and appetizers were great, but steaks were good, not great. We tried one cocktail, which was way too sweet. Service was friendly but slow- ordering occurs on the QR code or at the cash register, and there's not many check-ins. I'd recommend for adults, but the seating of mostly high tops wasn't great for little ones, and it's a louder bar environment- though outdoor seating would be better for families, and the kids menu items were good portions.

Biggest little steakhouse is nice, quaint, and elegant steakhouse on Virginia St. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by the staff and seated. We had a reservation, so we were seated immediately. It was our first time here so the staff let us know that the restaurant was a little different and that we would have to place our order via QR code or at the bar. There aren't traditional waiters. Everything on the menu is a la cart. While the food isnt the most expensive, it is not cheap either. I ordered a ribeye and my daughter ordered a new york. Both were in the $35 to $40 range. I also added a side of brussel sprouts that cost about $4. The food was brought out quickly and was cooked just as we asked for. The only issue I had with the ribeye was that it wasnt the thickest steak I have ever had, but it was cooked well. After our meal we were given a complimentary cookie that was warm, gooey, and delicious. A meal for 2 with one side and two sodas was over $100 with tip. Is it worth it? I dont really know. Texas Roadhouse would be about $30 cheaper and the steak would be very similar and you get sides. The ambiance and staff were very nice though so ymmv with the biggest little steakhouse.

Surprisingly this was my first visit to Biggest Little Steakhouse since they opened. My wife and I were on a long walk to a concert at RPM and needed a spot for dinner. We cam across this spot and decided it was time to try it out for dinner. We found a spot at the bar and were served directly by the bartender. We ordered some cocktails to start, my manhattan was a nice classic pour and tasted great. My wife and I split a Wedge salad, and Ribeye Steak, and potatoes Au Gratin single side since we were looking for a light dinner. Everything was delicious, the steak really surprised me by how tender and flavorful it was. We were there on a Sunday night so we were also able to watch SNF. The decor and ambiance is casual which I appreciate for a more laid back steakhouse experience. The service was great throughout the meal and we both left feeling satisfied and pleased with the overall meal and experience. Will be sure to visit again in the future as now we know what we've been missing out on!

Barrel Aged Negroni

This place has one of my favorite happy hours in town and it's 12pm-5pm every day. They did remove the Filet Mignon option for happy hour, but they still offer the Ribeye and NY strip at a good prices. My steaks are always cooked perfectly here and the sides are good for the price and portion. The best value are the cocktails for $6, that's tough to beat! I recommend the Midtown Mai Tai and the Barrel Aged Negroni. They have several tables available and about 10 seats at the bar. The bartenders were attentive and took our orders quickly. Never had to wait long to order more food or drinks. I can't comment on the rest of the menu or table service since I only come here during happy hour and sit at the bar. It's not the fanciest steakhouse in town, but it's definitely one of my favorites.

If you are looking at this sign, you are in the right parking lot.

Amazing food. Best wedge salad i have had maybe ever! So excited to find a steakhouse that is open for lunch. A gem. Really nice interior that opens to a patio. Fresh air. Good staff. I'll be back.

This might be the Biggest Little Steakhouse in Reno, but they definitely have some of the BIGGEST happy hour deals I've seen! We passed by this spot while driving in Midtown, and we're so glad we didn't make the mis -STEAK of not giving it a try. Everyday from 12-5 PM, they have huge discounts on sides, selected cuts of steak, and drinks (cocktails and wine for $6), making their menu super affordable and honestly very good bang for your buck considering the quality! We ordered the truffle fries, which actually had a strong essence of truffle, Conundrum by Caymus, their house lavender cocktail, ribeye ($26) + grilled shrimp ($10 add on) and Thai salad, which was not on the happy hour menu ($16). I actually enjoyed how they cooked the fries, steak and shrimp (albeit a little oily for my personal preferences), although I would say the portion of shrimp is definitely not worth the price. The Thai salad consisted of a hefty portion of half uncooked noodles (neither crispy nor cooked through) that I ended up pushing to the side, although it did have a good portion of steak. Overall, this spot offers great deals on their steak during happy hour, but if you want a higher end steak dinner, I would recommend heading on over to Land Ocean in South Reno instead.

NY Steak

Great service by the server and if you go during happy hour it's 30% steaks! I got my NY Steak medium rare (it had a lot of fat) and I liked the butter on top of my steak. The portions were big for sharing and I really like how close it is to the midtown area. Portion was perfect for kids/kid friendly.

Delish rib eye cooked to perfection with the peppercorn sauce

We had a stellar meal here 9/13/25 for a friend's birthday. We were a party of 7 and felt like we received good service and a wonderful meal! We brought a nice Napa red for a VERY reasonable corkage fee. We weren't sure what was up with the order & pay yourself thing was, and were able to order with a server, and she was great! We shared wine & ordered cocktails including Moscow Mules & the Bacon Old Fashioned - BOMB!!! We ordered a nice selection of apps for sharing - the truffle fries & spicy dip, crunchy onion rings & cheesy, melty artichoke dip - all very good. We had Caesar & Thai noodle salads, delish! Our group had steaks - Filet, rib eye & New York, with the peppercorn & chimichurri sauces on the side - we're friends, so lots of sharing here! Things taste better when you share, amirite!?!? I know its a steakhouse, but I ordered the grilled salmon was perfection also! We also shared the impossibly gooey mac & cheese & their lemony chilled asparagus. Honestly, not a single dish disappointed. We would 100% recommend for a classy but casual dinner with friends or clients or a bougee date night. Patio seating during the warmer months would be a vibe but as it turned out, our group's reservation was indoors and the breeze picked up this particular evening, so it was OK. Just GO here. Brings friends, share! Try all the things!

We were looking forward to eating here as we love a GOOD steak. Hoping it would make it onto our personal top 5 list that we have. Sadly, it did not. It was underwhelming. Not the worst we've have but certainly nowhere near the best. We got mini wedge salads and the shareable potatoes. The wedge was good and the potatoes were great! I got a Mai Tai to drink. I love Mai Tai's. I've had several, especially lately. This one was not that good. Didn't taste anything like a Mai Tai. :-/ Another frustrating thing was that they didn't do a "traditional" take your order at the table/wait on you. There was a stupid barcode scanner to order on our phones. Did NOT like that nor was it user friendly. I got irritated with the process and ended up walking to someone at the register to order. Annoying. We were planing on a NICE steak dinner out. This wasn't it. At the end of the meal they brought us a plate of cookies. That was a nice surprise. The cookies were scrumptious! Probably the best thing about the entire visit (a close second were the tasty potatoes). In conclusion, I would not eat here again.

About to enter the biggest little steakhouse...

We were on our way home in the early afternoon and decided to get some steak. Found this spot on yelp and decided to try it out. This restaurant has a cool ambiance with nice art work and animal head mounted on walls. Its a bar setting kinda style. Would be cool to come in the evening to enjoy drinks and watch a game or so. We were able to sit anywhere. We ordered at the table using qr code. Luckily they have summer happy hours from noon to 5pm. In which we ordered their sharables, hand cut onion rings and truffle fries which were crunchy and tasted delicious. We also ordered the macaroni side which came in a pretty big portion. The flavor was mild and creamy and tasted smooth and savory. ordered the ribeye steak and grilled ribs which were both half off. The ribeye was cooked perfectly at medium rare and flavorful and portion size was more than enough. The ribs were soft and savory with a side of bbq sauce. Didnt even finish the ribs , had it to go for later. The staff was friendly and service was quick. Food came out quickly. Will definitely be back.
