    Sundae and Crème brûlée
    Nic N.

Ambience was nice, we were sat at a comfy booth with views of the outside water feature. Service was just fine, not rushed not overly caretaking but still good Food: The good; the relish (especially the butter pickles and heart of palm) was a fun little fast pickle experience Steaks were prepared right to our order/ temp and while not top quality it was good meat nonetheless oh and the bread was quite good, warm and soft and crusty in the right places The bad; the mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best and the French green beans were under cooked, crème brûlée was okay and the sundae was very cheap tasting ice cream with candied nuts more intune with a salad not a sundae Will keep an eye out to come back or not, the steak was added cost on the sunset menu which I hadn't noted previously...

Nevada Steak is a great place to stop if you are looking for a quality steak and a nice atmosphere. It's not quite as fancy as the Western Village steakhouse, but it's also not trying to be. We had an incredibly friendly server and were well taken care of! One of the best steaks I've eaten in Reno and the cheesecake was pretty delicious too! Definitely worth a stop if you find yourself way down in South Reno

We made reservations for the pre fixe dinner and were promptly seated and brought warm, crusty bread to whet our appetite. We ordered the relish plate as our shared appetizer and I was pleasantly surprised with the assortment of pickled veggies and the delicious green goddess dip! Entrees came next and my steak was great, perfectly cooked to my liking. The mashed potatoes were edible but tasted like they were cooked and then reheated but also arrived at the table slightly cold. Dessert was creme brulee with a bonus cookie and it was solid. Quite happy with my meal and dining experience!

This review is for The Bar, at Nevada Steak. The Bar is part of the Nevada Steak Restaurant and Nevada Steak Lounge and you can order from both the Steakhouse and Steakhouse Lounge menu. My husband and I shared a Cesar Salad that was fresh and really tasty. We also had the Fish and Chips. The Fish seemed of very good quality, fried to a golden brown, which made it perfectly crunchy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The fries had a good seasoning, but what I loved was how big they were. They were also seasoned and deep fried to perfection. Love these fries!!! We really had no room, but somehow ended up getting the Sticky Toffee Pudding. OMG, so good!! Our server's Sydney and Tony, were also excellent. They were friendly and gave the best service. Awesome time!!

Treated to date night at Nevada Steak steakhouse in Tamarack junction. It's been on my list since Open table recommended them based on past reservations/visits. It is a beautiful steakhouse. We had a quiet booth in the back off to the side. Thank you to the host for seating us there. They offer a sunset dinner menu and we were in early enough to order from it. They offer a regular menu and their verbal specials. I ordered the New York steak off their sunset menu with ($3 upcharge) that came with a dessert; vanilla creme brulee. We loved their relish tray! It's a must try if you come in. We ordered oysters in a half shell and split a wedge salad. The dressing was pretty salty. (The thick cut bacon was a perfect addition to my wedge salad.) I would have prefered we got our oysters before our salads as opposed of together. My steak and the prime rib special was blackened and were a perfect MR. Kudos to the chef! I think next visit, I'll have to ask about butter and ect. I would have asked for it on the side or could have gone without. My mashed potatoes and steak were drenched in it. I stole a bite of twice baked potatoes, they are a personal favorite. Vanilla creme brulee is one of my favorite desserts! I was glad to see it offered and it perfect end to a perfect date. Their wine list is beautiful and I was happy to see Prisoner's wine offered by the glass! That was a no brainer, I knew what I was going to drink. Ordering a glass or a bottle was my biggest struggle of the evening. Sydney was our server and she along with her support staff took great care of us. We loved our experience here and we look forward to returning.

This tiny little dinner is just a piece of fish. Holy cow right they 10 behind it is steak fries I asked for them to be extra well done

Had a pleasant meal with good service Hans was our waiter and he was very helpful. The food was well prepared could have had a little more seasoning but that is just nitpicking. We were able to order from the sunset menu it is a really good Really good deal. Will be going back.

I had heard a few mediocre verbal reviews from friends and colleagues but I was excited to give this place a try for myself finally. I had a business dinner for the first time ever here and was very pleased. We first ordered a large variety of appetizers to include, escargot, shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half shell, calamari, and a relish platter. The appetizers were excellent. I did think that the escargot were pretty small and bland. I love escargot and these definitely weren't the best I'd ever had. Ordered the ribeye medium but came out more like med well but I was hungry and the taste was there. So, I went with it. Baked potato is huge but they had to bring a new one as I asked for the toppings on the side and they had forgotten. We also had guests at our table who ordered the creamed spinach and mushrooms. They were both quite tasty. Our cocktails decent. I had a manhattan.

Decided to try Nevada Steak for my Birthday dinner as I had never been there before. The bread was hot and fresh with soft butter. We ordered the pork belly, crab cake and French onion soup as appetizers. The pork belly was amazing, my hubby loved the crab cake and the French onion soup was good but I've had better. We both ordered the 12 oz dry aged New York. I ordered mine a blasphemous mid-well and it was perfectly cook. I ordered the old bay fries which are actually more of jojo fries, they were seasoned perfectly and crisp. The hubby got the scallop potatoes and we were not impressed as they were al dente and not very appetizing. The bacon Mac and cheese was delicious but very interesting as it tasted like it bathed in bacon. Finally for dessert we had the vanilla creme brulee for my bday dessert and took home the tiramisu. To drink he had a basic old fashioned and I tried the spicy margarita that had a taijin rim and habanero syrup. All in all I will definitely be back sometime.

We were a party of 7 celebrating a Birthday. Had a nice table and tried the early bird menu. I was really impressed with the whole dinner. I had the lobster Bisque - delicious! The NY steak was cooked perfectly and was tender. Potato's we're delicious as well as the green beans. Food was hot and plate temperatures were correct. Bread was also served. Crème brûlée and cookies were dessert options, and were tastefully served. Requested from Maitre D , dessert for birthday. A beautiful goblet of assorted ice creams and marshmallows were served, Candles and song, caramel and extra chocolate sauce also served. Lots of whip cream and a cherry. This was Amazing and great finish to a great dinner! Chef Mike and the Maitre D' have really done a great job here.! Service was spot on. Would highly recommend

First time to visit for a friend's birthday. The atmosphere was very comfortable, able to forget we were inside a casino. Started with the crab cake and an old fashioned. The crabmeat was well seasoned and pleasantly crispy. Dinner also included sourdough bread and a tasty relish tray. The French onion soup was cheesy and redolent with nicely flavored stock. The 8 oz sirloin was perfectly cooked to medium rare and so tasty that the brandy & peppercorn sauce was unnecessary. Unfortunately, they were out of the crème brûlée but the lemon strawberry shortcake was tangy and delicious. Service was impeccable! Friendly, with frequent check-ins without hovering. I'll definitely make a return visit soon!

We love this place! Always consistent. We love to get the escargot with the blue cheese topping, so good!! We also usually split the ribeye and each get our own sides. Shout out to Patrick, best waiter/bartender! Always gives the best service!

We have been here twice once for the Sunset Special and the standard menu. All meals come with a complimentary relish tray, bread, and butter. Inside the Tamarack Casino is this tasty Steakhouse. They have a Sunset Special Menu from 4:30 - 5:30 for $29.00. You can choose from six options and it comes with a choice of dessert. Dessert is either Creme Brulee or Chocolate Pot De Creme. Years ago many Casinos used to offer Early Bird specials. When we went most of us had the salmon. The Fillet comes with spicy lemon butter and your choice of mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The fish was cooked to perfection. The potatoes and green beans were on point. Everyone loved their food and was full. Recently we met family here for dinner as they live in Carson City. I had the Halibut which was a lot spicier than I had anticipated. It was flavorful and tasty. I also chose the rice pilaf which was a very small portion. All the other options were larger. Especially the twice-baked potato. I must admit I was quite impressed with how tasty the potato was. If we go again I am getting it. My daughter had the Fillet. Bearnaise sauce is extra. She said it was good. Our wait staff was friendly and took care of us. The relish tray had hot pepper, hearts of palm, green olives, one stick of celery, one stick of carrot, radish slices, and pickles. The Sunset special is well worth it. The food was good, but not excellent not to mention pricey. While the prices are comparable to other steakhouses in the area the quality of food is not. However, I can recommend the Sunset Special.

Look at that loaded baked potato!!!

It is on the smaller size but we were able to fit our group in without issues, while still leaving some open tables for other patrons. They also provide service on a handful of outdoor tables. The only minor issue is they had live music which felt quite loud in such a small place, but when asked, they were able to lower the volume a bit which was very nice of them!

The soup said on the menu it came with homemade croutons but instead it came with generic saltine crackers. Also it was made with red onion instead of yellow onion which was a ... choice.
