They had huge tv In the middle of the restaurant showing different places around the world. Our server and assistant server were amazing. And made us feel welcomed and always asked us for refills all the time. We started off with cocktails. I got the cherry bomb margarita. They did it over the rocks. They make it in front of you. As part of the garnish they dip the sugar cube in alcohol. Amazing Starters - we got the tamper coconut shrimp. And the lobster bisque. The shrimp was amazing and so was the dipping sauce (brown sugar rum sauce) it even came on a stick that is edible. The bisque they pour it at ur table and the flavor was amazing. Dinner - tomahawk steak, broccoli, three cheese Au gratin potatoes. The broccoli was good little crunchy for my taste. But good. The potatoes cook great but not much flavor. Now the steak a lot of flavor and was cooked to my med rare. So good I ate the whole thing. So good I would recommend to anyone. It does hit your pocket book. read more

11/2/25 Anniversary Dinner (24yrs). We decided we wanted to splurge and come here. We heard many good things about from friends/family that has been here. Wow what an experience. We had made reservations and were greeted immediately when we got there and seated right away in a very nice booth . We had Jeff , Tony , Gary were our waiters and man they were top notch excellent. Very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. We ordered drinks - I had a Smoked old fashioned (see video) and wifey had a gin lemon drop. Both were delicious. We started off with Stuffed mushrooms and Lobster Bisque. I'm not a huge mushroom fan, but these were pretty good. The lobster biscuit had a lot of flavor and decent amount of lobster. For main we ordered the Trio Wagyu that consisted of Australian , American , Japanese. Sides were Lobster mashed potatoes and Brussel Sprouts . Man everything was sooooo good . Our fav of the trio was the Australian Wagyu it was so good . As a surprise they gave us some chocolates and a little cake for our anniversary. This was definitely worth it especially for. I always have a great meal at Bimini Steakhouse. Maurice also known as Mo behind the bar is absolutely fantastic and always takes great care of me and my customers when traveling to Reno on business. My husband and I came here recently for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We had booked the reservation a few weeks in advance. Upon arrival we were seated immediately. The ambiance inside is pretty nice - it's a very large dining room with a lot of seating. I would expect a bit darker/moody lighting for a steakhouse, but it's still very nice. Our waiter Robert "Bob" and his assistant were so genuine and kind. We got alot of recommendations from them and they were very helpful. My husband and I started with the Classic Tableside Caesar Salad. The salad was so fresh and flavorful. It was a bit on the spicy/tangy side, but was enjoyable. I then got the 8oz Prime Filet Mignon and my husband got the 16oz Niman Ranch Prime NY Strip. We split the Au Gratin Potatoes and the French Fries (I know, I know - two potatoes dishes haha!) we both have our preferences in potato and figured the Caesar salad was enough for a veggie and we didn't need another. The veggie sides are so marked up at these places. I love that each steak comes with a sauce: we got the Roasted Garlic-Cabernet and Creamy Horseradish. For dessert we split the Cherry Crumb Cheesecake which came with ice cream and chocolate truffles. This was one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. What a great recommendation from the waiter - we were so full by this point that we were able to take it home and eat it the next night. I'm still thinking about that amazing cake batter crumble: yum!! Overall we had a great experience. We'll definitely add this restaurant back into our rotation when we want a nice night out. If you're at Peppermill in Reno, whether you're visiting or a local this restaurant is absolutely worth checking out for a dinner date or even a business dinner. First off, the space is beautiful. The decor is unique and really sets the mood for a nice evening out. The staff was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which I always appreciate. Quick heads up though it's not the easiest place to find from the casino floor because the signage isn't great. Here's the trick: just to the left of the check-in area there's an escalator. Go up, turn right, walk to the end, and you've arrived. You're welcome Now, onto the food. They have a large seafood selection, which limited what I could personally try, but the staff was incredibly helpful navigating my food allergy. Huge plus there. The tableside bread service was fantastic fresh and warm, and the sourdough was especially amazing. They also brought out a mango sorbet with champagne as a palate cleanser, which was such a classy, refreshing touch. I ordered the French onion soup and the handmade fries. The soup was well prepared, and instead of the traditional bread on top, they used puff pastry a fun twist, though it was a little crumbly. The house-made fries were excellent. My only wish? A spicy mustard option to dip them in. Around the table we had sea bass, steaks, Caesar salad, filet mignon, and lobster bisque and I checked in with everyone. Not a single complaint. Everything got rave reviews. And don't skip dessert. We tried them all, and honestly, even if you came just for dessert and drinks, you wouldn't be disappointed. I was really looking forward to celebrating my birthday here, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. If you do decide to visit, I recommend parking in the garage--it's quite a walk from the Virginia Street parking lot. Service started off okay, but the pacing felt off. We were rushed at the beginning, then experienced a long gap after our appetizer, salad, and soup before our entrées arrived. The food itself was just okay, with nothing that truly stood out. From the complimentary bread to the entrées, most dishes were bland, and there wasn't anything we would order again. The Wagyu and Tomahawk steaks tasted as though they were of lesser quality. The King Crab legs were prepared well and easy to eat (market price $141), but still nothing to rave about. This was especially noticeable when compared to several steakhouses we've dined at in Reno and Sparks, and it doesn't come close to the quality of steakhouses in Las Vegas or Hawaii. Desserts were better--the Poached Pear, Cherry Cheesecake, and 6-Layer Chocolate Cake--but even the Banana Foster didn't quite measure up to others I've had. My son did enjoy the Old Forester flight. The Pineapple Margarita was just okay, and my daughter appreciated the server making her an affogato. Oddly, the server used some "sayings" throughout the evening that made us pause. He also didn't acknowledge that it was my birthday, which was disappointing given the occasion and the notation on our reservation. It makes you wonder why there's even a section for accommodations if it doesn't matter. On a positive note, our busser, Spencer, was great and very attentive. Overall, the whole experience fell short of what I had hoped for as a birthday dinner celebration and unfortunately ended the evening on a disappointing note, especially considering the nearly $800 bill. read more

We chose this steakhouse to celebrate my husband's birthday, and unfortunately, the experience left us disappointed. When we checked in, the hostess acknowledged that it was his birthday, so the restaurant was aware we were celebrating. However, our waiter never mentioned it throughout the meal. Toward the end of dinner, my husband asked if the bill could be split evenly. The waiter came back and said, "You want to split the bill fiddy fiddy?" While he may have intended to say "50/50," the way it was said felt inappropriate and came across as a stereotype. As a Black couple, it made us uncomfortable. To make matters worse, we watched birthday desserts being brought out to other tables, yet my husband never received any acknowledgment or birthday dessert despite the restaurant knowing it was his birthday. I've been to The Peppermill twice and I visited Bimini Steakhouse both times and this is what I think. Food : Awesome! Steak was tender,Sea bass was fresh and perfectly seasoning.Fries was great! It was my son's birthday wish to try A5 Japanese Wagyu, and what better way to do it than in style at the Peppermill hotel/resort?! The decor and service at Bimini's was inviting and warm. Appetizer wise, we ordered the fresh oysters which were indeed delicious and fresh. The birthday boy was happy with his steak, and saved room for his birthday cake. The filet mignon sampler was EPIC. Perfectly cooked-medium rare with an assortment of dipping sauces. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. For dessert the crème brûlée and apple cobbler were both amazing. This place is one of a kind! I only gave it four out of five stars because of some of the food items that we had ordered. But the service was 10 out of 10. Gary and Jon took such great care of us. It was our anniversary, we received a card and the best treatment ever. My husband had an old-fashioned drink and they made it at the table smoked. We ended up splitting bone in ribeye, mac & cheese, and brussels sprouts. We also had a blue cheese salad. The blue cheese salad was exceptional with little bits of pancetta, Kamala, olives, avocado, radishes, and delicious blue cheese. That salad was also 10 out of 10. The mac & cheese was good, but needed some more flavor. Brussels sprouts needed some salt. They were crispy, but didn't have a lot of taste. The restaurant treated us with some chocolate mousse cake for our anniversary. That was 100% amazing. This restaurant is truly amazing and we will be coming back. The atmosphere is amazing, the service is amazing, and the steak was amazing. They have huge screens showing different places from all around the world. Came here with family and it was good. We've been multiple times and it's always been good. Over the years the prices have gone up and the food is about the same. Our server and team were great. Took my parents here and was very disappointed. Their lobster was way overcooked, rubbery, and inedible. Steak was also overcooked and dry. Staff was not impressive although some of the items were comped. The restaurant was nice. Many years ago before I entered the Yelperverse, we had dinner here - probably for some occasion. I remember it being ok, my best beloved remembers it as being meh. Not much has changed in the decor, but from reading old reviews, from trusted friends I think his memory is probably more accurate. So fast forward about 10+ Years and it looks like reviews were read, changes made, or maybe Yelpers got less negative (yeah right!) We had made reservations and were shown to our large horseshoe booth right away. Water was provided and an i-pad menu was given to both of us. I like the idea of an electronic menu - it was a little clunky to navigate, but we figured it out with a little help from our fabulous server - Maria. We ordered drinks while we worked our way through the menu. My husband ordered a glass of wine, I had the White Linen Cocktail - a lovely mixture of Cucumber Syrup, Fresh Lime Juice, Cracked Black Pepper, and Rogue Citrus Cucumber Soda. Absolutely delicious with a sweet, sour, spicy slightly effervescent blend. We skipped the appetizers and ordered the Ahi Tuna for me and the Prime Filet for him. Both were most excellent. Service was excellent. The food was very good, and Maria and her assistant (sorry forgot his name) were spot on throughout the meal. This is quite definitely worth a return visit. read more

Amazing service. We saw a table next to us complain about their steak and saw them try to accommodate her by fixing it twice. Didn't see them give any attitude and was even apologetic to her. That's A+ service there. We ordered a bottle of wine and it was good. The cocktails that we ordered was also good and strong. For the table, we got tomahawk steak, bone in ribeye, some kind of steak, the broccolini, asparagus, brussels sprouts. We felt the steak all came out exactly the way we ordered. After a long day of a round of golf or day at the spa, we went to Bimini Steakhouse for 4 of the people in our group's birthdays. I ordered the SEA BASS and it was absolutely amazing. No sides were needed because it comes on a bed of risotto and split pea purée. The menus were on an iPad, which was a very modern and easy approach to look at, especially in a dark and intimate ambiance. My husband ordered the seafood lasagna pasta and it was delicious as well. The lobster mash has generous portions of lobster as well. So yummy! Everything was cooked to perfection. I would pass on desserts as I gave them a taste and they were mediocre. The bathroom was absolutely clean and well kept. Very pleasant experience and cannot wait to return to bring other family members. Bimini Steakhouse has got to be one of my favorite steakhouses and places when i'm visiting Reno. The ambiance, service, food, everything about this place is so amazing. I love how everything here feels so classy but you can really choose to either dine dressed up or dressed casually. Since this restaurant is found in the casino, you'll see people dressed both ways. Starting off, as an appetizer we ordered the coconut shrimps which was mouth watering. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and was paired with a sweet caramelized sauce which I loved so much I used as a dipping sauce for my steak. For my main, I ordered the prime rib which was so flavorful, tender, and filling! I never can finish my steak but whenever I come here I always end up eating it down to the bone. Make sure to add some mushrooms on the side. They pair so well with the steak and comes with such a good portion for sharing. Lastly, we ordered some strawberry ice cream which was great. The presentation of each dish was awesome and the prices were reasonable. Overall, this place is a must when visiting Reno. The service here is great. I very seldom give a venue 5 stars on my first visit but this Bimini Steakhouse culinary experience was beyond measure.The decor and relaxing atmosphere set the mood for the delectable delights that were forthcoming. I was well aware that Bimimi was a steakhouse however I decided to order the Maine Lobster Crusted Chilean Seabass that sat on a bed of oregano Israeli couscous, with sautéed red bell pepper-caper and golden pepper coulis, since it was seasonal and paired perfectly with a German riesling. Before my main course, I had to order the Lobster Bisque which was absolutely divine. The only complaint is that they had already incorporated the Sherry into the bisque which I prefer to drizzle on separately. Sorry, I am a snob.
