Came to Bimini on a weekday night with some coworkers. Service was great, no issues. I got the 22 oz bone in ribeye, med rare which was cooked to perfection. Friends got the wagu strip and prime rib, which they all enjoyed as well. For sides, we got the truffle Mac, potatoes and fries. Each of the sides were good and would order again. Got the old fashion for drinks, nothing to brag about. Only downside, we were seated next to a bright big wall tv. Feel like they shouldn't be around for a steak house. Took away from the vibe. Other than that, great place and would easily be back again, but seated away from the giant tv wall.

We dine here at almost every celebratory occasion, but this was my first time ordering the wagyu trio. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I couldn't decide which Wagyu to get, so the trio was a great introduction to Wagyu meats, so now I know what I want for next time! As always, the complimentary bread is amazing and the staff is pleasant and attentive. You really can't beat the local discount that Peppermill gives locals.

My husband and I came here recently for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We had booked the reservation a few weeks in advance. Upon arrival we were seated immediately. The ambiance inside is pretty nice - it's a very large dining room with a lot of seating. I would expect a bit darker/moody lighting for a steakhouse, but it's still very nice. Our waiter Robert "Bob" and his assistant were so genuine and kind. We got alot of recommendations from them and they were very helpful. My husband and I started with the Classic Tableside Caesar Salad. The salad was so fresh and flavorful. It was a bit on the spicy/tangy side, but was enjoyable. I then got the 8oz Prime Filet Mignon and my husband got the 16oz Niman Ranch Prime NY Strip. We split the Au Gratin Potatoes and the French Fries (I know, I know - two potatoes dishes haha!) we both have our preferences in potato and figured the Caesar salad was enough for a veggie and we didn't need another. The veggie sides are so marked up at these places. I love that each steak comes with a sauce: we got the Roasted Garlic-Cabernet and Creamy Horseradish. For dessert we split the Cherry Crumb Cheesecake which came with ice cream and chocolate truffles. This was one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. What a great recommendation from the waiter - we were so full by this point that we were able to take it home and eat it the next night. I'm still thinking about that amazing cake batter crumble: yum!! Overall we had a great experience. We'll definitely add this restaurant back into our rotation when we want a nice night out. The best part of being a local is the 20% discount!

If you're at Peppermill in Reno, whether you're visiting or a local this restaurant is absolutely worth checking out for a dinner date or even a business dinner. First off, the space is beautiful. The decor is unique and really sets the mood for a nice evening out. The staff was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which I always appreciate. Quick heads up though it's not the easiest place to find from the casino floor because the signage isn't great. Here's the trick: just to the left of the check-in area there's an escalator. Go up, turn right, walk to the end, and you've arrived. You're welcome Now, onto the food. They have a large seafood selection, which limited what I could personally try, but the staff was incredibly helpful navigating my food allergy. Huge plus there. The tableside bread service was fantastic fresh and warm, and the sourdough was especially amazing. They also brought out a mango sorbet with champagne as a palate cleanser, which was such a classy, refreshing touch. I ordered the French onion soup and the handmade fries. The soup was well prepared, and instead of the traditional bread on top, they used puff pastry a fun twist, though it was a little crumbly. The house-made fries were excellent. My only wish? A spicy mustard option to dip them in. Around the table we had sea bass, steaks, Caesar salad, filet mignon, and lobster bisque and I checked in with everyone. Not a single complaint. Everything got rave reviews. And don't skip dessert. We tried them all, and honestly, even if you came just for dessert and drinks, you wouldn't be disappointed. Overall, great atmosphere, excellent service, and a solid dining experience. Definitely a spot I'd return to

I was really looking forward to celebrating my birthday here, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. If you do decide to visit, I recommend parking in the garage--it's quite a walk from the Virginia Street parking lot. Service started off okay, but the pacing felt off. We were rushed at the beginning, then experienced a long gap after our appetizer, salad, and soup before our entrées arrived. The food itself was just okay, with nothing that truly stood out. From the complimentary bread to the entrées, most dishes were bland, and there wasn't anything we would order again. The Wagyu and Tomahawk steaks tasted as though they were of lesser quality. The King Crab legs were prepared well and easy to eat (market price $141), but still nothing to rave about. This was especially noticeable when compared to several steakhouses we've dined at in Reno and Sparks, and it doesn't come close to the quality of steakhouses in Las Vegas or Hawaii. Desserts were better--the Poached Pear, Cherry Cheesecake, and 6-Layer Chocolate Cake--but even the Banana Foster didn't quite measure up to others I've had. My son did enjoy the Old Forester flight. The Pineapple Margarita was just okay, and my daughter appreciated the server making her an affogato. Oddly, the server used some "sayings" throughout the evening that made us pause. He also didn't acknowledge that it was my birthday, which was disappointing given the occasion and the notation on our reservation. It makes you wonder why there's even a section for accommodations if it doesn't matter. On a positive note, our busser, Spencer, was great and very attentive. Overall, the whole experience fell short of what I had hoped for as a birthday dinner celebration and unfortunately ended the evening on a disappointing note, especially considering the nearly $800 bill.

The food and service at Bimini was excellent! We went here for our honeymoon dinner and enjoyed every bit. Depending on what you order it is almost like a mini show because they the drinks and food at your table. Bob and Jacob were an excellent team, they made every effort to have us comfortable and satisfied. We even got chocolate mousse on the house.

Amazing service. This place is a bit pricey but we had so much fun. My husband has the steak Diane which was prepared tableside. Overall we enjoyed all the food and would highly recommend to anyone.

We dined at Bimini Steakhouse last month and the experience was phenomenal from start to finish. The service alone deserves five stars--our water glasses never even made it a quarter of the way down before being refilled. Attentive without being intrusive, which is rare these days. The homemade Caesar salad was incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced and clearly made with care. The steak was cooked spot-on, exactly as ordered, tender and full of flavor. From the food to the service, everything was executed flawlessly. A truly excellent dining experience and absolutely worth returning for. It was a beautiful restaurant! Highly recommend

Great dinner in an elegant setting! Service was on point and the drinks were great. The complimentary bread service was very good as the bread is made in house. The lobster bisque is some of the best I've ever had- chunks of lobster in a rich flavorful broth. Loved the sorbet with sparking intermezzo. The bone-in rib eye was cooked perfectly. The broccoli side with garlic was a nice accompaniment. I had the scallop special. Wow! Perfectly cooked sea scallops over a bed of amazing veggies and roasted potatoes with beurre blanc sauce. The dark chocolate carmels with se salt were the perfect end.

Jeff, Tony, and Gary took great care of us making sure we had everything we needed and wanted. They were extremely efficient and friendly. The food was excellent and good portion size. The flavor of the food did not disappoint which is especially important when you're paying top dollar. The whole experience was top notch and we will definitely tell everyone we know if they want a nice steakhouse where they can go.

The food was delicious. We ordered the cooked oysters + crab stuffed mushrooms -- the BEST I've ever had. Split the filet mignon + au gratin cheesy potatoes + mushrooms. You could cut the steak with a fork. Service was on point. We had 3 people helping our table of 8. Loved the sorbet w/sparkling wine to reset the palate. The ambiance was very nice. We had the back private room. Would go again!

Our favorite place to eat at when visiting Reno NV. we love lobster bisque there is the best. Tomahawk steak was very good. Love their complimentary sorbet with prosecco, and how they give at the end warm wet towels to clean your hands. 10/10 overall.

Beautiful restaurant, attentive servers and DELECTABLE entrees! Doesn't get much better than this. Came here to celebrate my son's birthday with the fam. It was my son's birthday wish to try A5 Japanese Wagyu, and what better way to do it than in style at the Peppermill hotel/resort?! The decor and service at Bimini's was inviting and warm. Appetizer wise, we ordered the fresh oysters which were indeed delicious and fresh. The birthday boy was happy with his steak, and saved room for his birthday cake. The filet mignon sampler was EPIC. Perfectly cooked-medium rare with an assortment of dipping sauces. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. For dessert the crème brûlée and apple cobbler were both amazing. Impossible to choose which one I enjoyed more. We will definitely be back again for more!

Is there a dress code for the restaurant?

No, there is not dress code. Some people dress up and some are casual. If you go there ask to sit in Patrick section when you make your reservations, he is great, and his customer service is the best.

That was fine so as soon as we turned around to sit in the lobby, the guy called us and said he happened to find a table for two. So we were sat immediately. This is the busiest I've ever seen this restaurant. Pretty much every table, and they have lots of tables, was full. Braden was our server and he was at our table within five minutes. Considering how busy the place was, that was awesome. He took our drink orders asked if we actually knew what we wanted to eat, which we didn't, and so he went to get our drinks while we looked at the menu. What we ordered: 25 ounce Cadillac margarita Frolic in the sand Shots of tequila (Herradura) 20 ounce prime rib, medium rare Lobster tail Jacketed baked potato Sautéed mushrooms The food arrived quickly. The prime rib was perfect. Lobster, mushrooms. Everything was just so darn good. The star of the show was the server Braden. He was friendly and a little entertaining. Even though the place was super busy, he took the time to talk with us and make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our evening. I will definitely ask for him next time we come in here as he was that good. When the food and drinks are consistent, sometimes the only difference of a good visit versus an average visit is the server. He was perfect. Still some of the best prices in town for a steak/prime rib. Comfortable. Nice atmosphere. We will definitely come back again and again. I know things can go wrong occasionally, but this seemed to be a string of events. Once we ordered, it took a while to get food. I'm not complaining about this, we were a large party. When we did get our food, all of it was either wrong, cold, or undercooked. There were no wait staff around to tell, apparently they were short-staffed that night. I walked up and got the manager, who came back to the table to hear us out. They ended up comping all of the food and by the time we had gotten this far, it was already later in the evening and we just decided to salvage what we could. Some of the food was edible, so we did what we could. We kept waiting for someone to come around to clear dishes comma but we never saw anyone. There was an empty table between us and the next table over. There was an empty table between us and the next table over, and they had started stacking they're empty dishes on that empty table. We decided, we might as well do the same thing otherwise the dishes would stay put. By the end of the meal, the entire table was full of dishes. We ended up going somewhere else later that evening to actually get some food we could eat. I'm really sad that this meal went so poorly when we were trying to celebrate a birthday. We will never be going to this restaurant again. Additional after the fact, the sign outside that advertises the business has been broken for months. One would think that if you were a serious business that you would want to fix that. It reflects on your image. It makes me sad too, because they are right across the street from the Peppermill and they could be getting so much business.

The riverside setting made for a relaxing atmosphere and was a great place to spend a summer afternoon. We started with the Crab & Salmon Cakes, and they were outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, and each cake had a perfectly crisp exterior while remaining delicate inside. You could clearly taste both the crab and salmon, and the slightly spicy aioli complemented them perfectly without overpowering the seafood. For cocktails, I ordered the Tequila Mockingbird, and it was excellent. The mezcal's smoky flavor came through clearly, almost reminding me of a good Scotch, yet it had just enough sweetness to keep it balanced. If you enjoy spirit-forward cocktails that aren't overly sweet, I'd highly recommend it. My wife ordered the Razz Jazz and later the Rosé All Day. She loved the Razz Jazz, describing it as refreshing, lightly sweet, and lemony, with enough alcohol flavor to remind you it's a cocktail without being overpowering. The Rosé All Day was another refreshing choice and perfect for a warm afternoon on the patio. For lunch, we ordered the French Dip and the Tri-Tip Sandwich. The French Dip was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the rich au jus. The Tri-Tip Sandwich was loaded with smoky, well-seasoned beef on fresh bread. It was a bit richer than I personally prefer, but the quality of the meat was undeniable. The fries were a standout in their own right, perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned just right. Wild River Grille isn't the least expensive lunch in town, but the quality of the food, expertly crafted cocktails, attentive service, and beautiful riverside patio made it feel well worth the price. We'll definitely be back.

My experience was quite different, we had a party of six celebrating a very special occasion. Thinking this Steakhouse is rated 4 stars we thought we couldn't go wrong, that was our first mistake. Of the first 5 salads brought out they had to take em back because of the 'off' odor. Our server explained that maybe it was the radishes (not what I would expect from a four star steakhouse). When the entrées came out three people had ordered filet mignon's, which I was told was very tasty. One of the patrons had ordered New York strip (three of us confirmed that) and was given and charged for a filet mignon rather than taking it back to the kitchen and giving the patron what they ordered. It was unfortunate, but the service in my opinion was not four-star they did check on us occasionally and kept the water glasses full and 'maybe' they even asked if everything was OK. Not wanting to spend $60 for a steak (I was a guest) I ordered the seafood roast. It turned out to be a very tasty bisque, but a tasty bowl of soup shouldn't cost $35.00. Give em try if you want to gamble on a great experience. My recommendation is to go to Western Steakhouse, enjoy the much better ambience, 120% better experience for maybe 10% more. You do you, all six of us know where we'll go next time.

Adrian is a wonderful bartender and we enjoy his service! Sad to hear Jenna moved on too! Why is it all the good people leave, but then you have Quincy at the chandelier bar yelling at customers, not serving customers, telling you he won't serve her until it's convenient for him. Thank goodness Larry was working at the sports bar after happy hour! He is a great guy and works so hard for the casino and his customers!

This place is so UNDERRATED! Such a peaceful atmosphere, consistent food, and chill staff; I can't…read morebelieve that Washoe Public House isn't getting the hype it deserves! The eating area is very spacious and commodious. Though this place has a casual vibe, the presentation of the food is totally fine-dining material. Each dish, especially the Citrus glazed salmon, is served as a piece of art. I've been here around three times before I installed yelp, and am excited to finally leave a review. The short rib, was absolutely amazing. The short rib was so tender, and each brussels sprout was a literal flavor bomb. The brussels sprouts I've had at other places have flavor only on the exterior, whereas the brussels sprouts here play a different game. The short rib is served in a really big portion. Though it may look dark from the photos, there are actually three big pieces. I loved loved loved the sauce; there's a sweet tangy taste to it, though it reminded me a lot of BBQ sauce. This short rib was a win. Chefs kiss. The truffle lasagna was terrific; so much sauce in between the lasagna layers. I could absolutely make out the truffle flavor in this dish. However, I recommend eating this dish quickly, as the lasagna stiffens really quickly. Thirty minutes after it was served, I went it to take another bite, and it wasn't as good anymore. The ceasar salad +beef is a great choice for a light but filling meal when you're currently on a healthy diet. Each dish here comes in giant portions, but even after you finish this salad, it won't feel too heavy on your body. I think it's because Washoe is really light on the dressing levels; perfecting the amount so it doesn't overtake the fresh flavor of the greens or leave the salad bland and insipid. However, the beef was a bit too well done and on the firmer side. The first time coming here, I was totally shocked to find out that the food they served did not match the relaxed and informal vibe the setting sets up. Not a bad thing at all. Creates a laid-back vibe while still getting high quality food.

Elk Chops, Kangaroo Philly Cheese Steak, Boar Schnitzel or Scottish Eggs, if you are looking for…read more"different" you can have it at the Washoe Public House. Situated in Mid-Town, it is conveniently located near the River and an easy walk to to the Pioneer Center. Have no fear, there is quite normal food fare in addition to the more exotic. We went with a large group, so we were able to sample the exotic and the more traditional. Starting with the Double Elk Chops, featured on Dives, Diners and Drive-Ins, the Elk is a bit on the gamey side, tender with a hint of lamb taste but a finish of liver, it is not for everyone. Scottish Eggs is a soft boiled egg, wrapped in sausage, then deep fried. It is served with a beer mustard. My friend, from England, was quick to order the Scottish Eggs. He reported that they were a bit over cooked but otherwise fine. 6/10. The Kangaroo Philly Cheese Steak sounds more exotic than the taste. For this sandwich I would have appreciated a bit more Kangaroo :-) but otherwise was good. Our friends seemed to enjoy the Boar Schnitzel and the portion was certainly large, as were all the portions at the Washoe Public House. The Short Ribs were so tended and a just a touch on the sweet side. My wife liked the sweetness but as a full meal, it was a bit sweet for my palate. I had the Washoe Burger with Bacon. A solid burger. I would have preferred my patty a bit less cooked but it was fine none the less. Rich with flavor, a solid choice. The fries were good. Nothing spectacular. It you are looking for different, Washoe Public House just might be the ticket. Fantastic cuisine, located close to the River and other entertainment.

Quality/Quantity - We did the math?!?! Can you believe it has been 21 years since we have been…read morehere!! This is the very first steak house that we met our "first" Reno friends. He chose this place. And last month when we got together, he suggested we come back. It brought back so many memories!! Crazy as she also started sharing all our pictures from the past?!?! Again, so many memories. Okay, to the Steak House, I need to focus, lol. Today we got the following, all of which were cooked perfectly! Complimentary Bread with French and Apricot, Pistachio Butter - So good that all of us could not stop eating it. It is going to ruin our dinner... Palette Cleanser - Refreshing. All the wives got the Sea Bass and Salad, so I only took one picture. Are they spending too much time together...? Ate the exact same meal?!?! This is affecting my Yelp pictures, lol. The good news is that us "men" all ordered different entrees. Again, everything was all cooked perfectly. Prime Rib - 16oz, I really think I got a larger slice, thank you. Changed it up from my usual rib eye. Against my own will, I caved in for a second slice of huge thick sourdough bread so I was only able to finish half my dinner... If I did not do that, I think I could have finished my dinner. I also appreciated the two horse radish options. Oh, and a sweet potato option!!! Sold. Filet - 12 oz, my buddy impresses me that he can always finish his dinner and he ate 4 slices of bread?!?! He is not much bigger than me. My buddy also changed his options to sweet potato following my lead. Wagyu Short Rib - This buddy is a light eater like myself, but he finished his dinner. This is the second time I have seen him finish his whole dinner! I am impressed. But not sure if he had any of that delicious bread. Dessert: The ladies wanted "a" dessert to share, so they ordered a cherry crumb cheesecake (my favorite of the desserts). Then my filet buddy who is a Key Lime connoisseur gave in and ordered a "Key Lime Pie;" sorry, none of us felt this was a pie, but rather more like a key lime creme brulee?!?! It was still good, but far from his and our expectations. S'more Dessert - Lastly, the manager brought over this dessert. I don't think it was even on the menu. He asked which dessert we liked best and we all had different answers so he left laughing. Complimentary chocolates. I washed down my dinner with a glass of Shiraz. I also had a glass of wine already gambling while waiting for our friends in the casino. Table side flaming desserts available; see pictures. Ambiance - Small, but a beautiful location in the Western Village Resort, Casino. Almost hidden in a corner. Non pretentious. Restrooms - Need to go outside to the casino. The closest ones are upstairs, just follow the sign. Open 7 days a week from 4:30pm to 9pm or 10pm. Service - 6 stars. From the hostess, servers, waitress and manager. So professional, "white glove" service, respectful, etc. Thank you. Hot towels at the end of dinner; be careful, piping hot. Oh, we also never felt pressured to leave and we stayed 1 hour after closing... Thanks and sorry. We always have so much fun with this group of friends. Actually, we are having a happy hour together at Napa Bistro tomorrow with the larger group... Can't get enough of each other. Price - $416 + generous tip. Expensive, but worth it. I actually felt it was of very good value for the experience, service, and quality of food. I think we need to come back more often than every 20+ years, lol. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success for over 40 years. 1983 - Peppermill acquired.
