"Rain or Shine, There's Always a Line" I had previously dropped Gayle off at RNO and had stopped at REI and Total Wine heading South. Just before returning to I-580, In-N-Out sounded good for the journey back to Genoa. I often park at an In-N-Out and go inside to order as it seems faster. This time, I got in the dual (at first) car line and waited my turn. Time went quickly and I was back on the road soon enough. The Pink Lemonade was in the cup holder, and the fries were were easy to pick off while driving. The Double Double took a little more work, but the wrapping helped during the delicious road ahead. read more

The best time to come here is around 4pm before dinner and when everyone has lunch. You get the best employees that work full time who know what the in and out culture is all about and get the best in and out experience. Crowd is light no lines hardly any wait and the best prepared burger with no rush. At its peak in and out is the best hands down. Plus the place is super clean when they just cleaned up from the lunch rush and right before the dinner crowd rushes in. read more

We love In-N-Out. Always smiling service, clean everything, consistent quality. We have a standard order and it includes a Protein style burger for me ( lettuce wrap) as I eat gluten free, a double double for my hubby and 1 order of fries that we share. A quick inexpensive meal on those nights neither of us want to cook. Drive thru might look like a long line but it goes fast. read more

8/1/2025- On the way home from getting car washed and needed to eat before fasting- My love hate for In & Out-love the fries- not so much the skinny thin patty-. Still busy but semi quick- Didn't want to dirty the kitchen so this was a perfect quick meal- Thank goodness for air fryer- had to reheat fries- but added the Greek seasoning.. read more

Quality/Quantity - I try not to come to this location as it is always TOO busy. Congrats on all your success. But today both my daughter and guest wanted this, so here we are. I decided to park across the street to avoid the "mess." Easy parking and walking. Ordered our usual two cheeseburgers, one with raw onions and one with grilled. And fries. All the food was good and consistent. More fries would have been nice... Just being greedy. As usual, a simple menu done well. Atmosphere - Small location, especially parking and drive thru. Always busy. Indoor and outdoor seating. Open 7 days a week from 10:30am till 1am, and on Fridays and Saturdays until 1:30am. Service - Good. Considering how busy they always are, we got out of there in a reasonable time. Like 20 minutes...? Price - $10.66, inexpensive. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1948 with your 400+ locations and still keeping it within the family!! Thanks for keeping it simple and good! And congrats on now being in the following states: Arizona, CA, Colorado, Idaho, NV, Oregon, Texas, and Utah! read more

I scored with missing the crowd and getting through the drive thru quickly. Although the food was great and the line moved swiftly I was a little disappointed as I ordered animal fries and asked for spread packets and I didn't get a fork or spread packets. This location let me down with that but all in all, it was a good meal and hopefully next time it's a better visit. read more

Waited almost an hour in line for lunch, my burger and my fries. She asked me if I wanted to catsup I said yes, please and she didn't give me any. Disappointed because I waited so long and I'm traveling so I don't have a place for catsup at home on the road that would've made my meal if I star didn't go inside so I'm not sure how the ambience is. I rarely go here because the weight is so long, but boy if they just made some ketchup in my bag, I would've loved that. read more

I ordered a double double and I took a bite of it and it tasted like soap I asked them to remake it and it still tastes like soap I also ordered a regular cheeseburger and it tasted like soap I don't know if this is a health code violation but in n out tasting like lemon soap is the last straw I will never go to in n out again I miss old in n out it's no longer good quality read more

My son and I stopped and went inside and got waited on right away, but took 20 minutes to get our food! My cheese burger and fries were good, bun a little crunchy and the lettuce looked old! My son's two burgers were good and his fries were better! Restaurant looked good for the amount of customers read more

Am I a fan? Yes! You can't beat the value and the fresh ingredients. Their food is consistently good and the employees are consistently happy. What more can you want from a fast food place? The lines are always crazy, but that's cause the food is fantastic. read more

I've never been into this location, always the drive thru but I never have issues. Food is always hot, delicious, and correct. Expect a line at all times (the norm for any In n Out) but it's worth it. read more

Great food, great service. Some of the best burgers. It's a simple menu that they consistently do well. In-n-Out has their model down to a science and they are super efficient. It's causal, fast, and delicious. You can't go wrong here. Parking can be a challenge to navigate when they are busy, partially because of the drive through line, but definitely worth it. read more

What else can be said that hasn't been said before? Quality ingredients, fresh produce, and delicious every time! It does take longer than other fast food places, but there is no comparison. Nothing is frozen, all food is fresh. Its also made to order. The consistency of each order is amazing! read more

Wow... I have never waited this long for an In-N-Out burger before. I entered the drive thru at 6:10pm and as of this moment (6:59pm) we are still 3 cars away from the food window. When we got in the line we were 3 cars from entering the parking lot, so it was a long line, but for fast food it shouldn't average several minutes per a car... At one point in the drive-thru line there was a solid 8 minutes of no movement. IN-N-OUT, what happened tonight?! And why no communication regarding the wait? As I'm wrapping up this review it's now 7:02 and we finally are at the food window (my husband is driving as I am tying this review). read more

Service - waited in line like we always do, paid and by the time we got to the window they said they gave my order to someone else and to go all the way back thru the line to order again. This is no good with a hangry teenager. Not sure why they didn't just say wait a couple mins to fix a new order it was a small order too burger and fries - like really ?!?!? read more

This is the second time I've had a pretty poor customer experience at this In-N-Out. This time a newer rep took my order, read it back, it was correct. But when the order came up, it was missing a burger. I told them it was missing, she said they hadn't charged me, so I ordered another but they didn't put me ahead in line so I had to wait so SO SO SO long for the mistake burger. There was no place to sit. It's just absolutely chaos inside. I told the hubs... only drive through from now on read more

I have eaten here several times. To be quite honest, I don't know what the hype is about and why they always have a line out of the parking lot and down the road. It is just a burger place. The fries, ok. The burgers...just fine. Is it so good you want to slap your own butt and do a jig? No. Sure it is clean and fast, but that doesn't make a great burger. In and out, take it or leave it. read more

Defies description. It's the Beatles of fast food. It's perfectly executed burgers fries shakes.

I always have In-n-Out in San Francisco and Los Angeles. This was the first time I tried it in the Reno branch, and it wasn't the same as what I remember eating it in Sanfo and L.A. The bread tasted a bit stale, and the fries felt like they fried it a day ago. I remember when I had that one in the two States I mentioned, I can taste the beef, and I could agree that their fries were homemade. Anyway, the service is okay, the same as the other fast food chain, and the ambiance is alright. I will not expect any fancy ambiance from a fast-food chain. read more

Service is fine. Ambiance is like sitting in a factory farm waiting to be harvested. Shrinkflation hit hard, burgers are no longer filling and they act like potatoes are going extinct. This is a burger place for yuppies and kids who say breezy. Not filling anymore, and being fresh is not unique to them. Eat local, find a Scoopers. read more

food is great hamburgers are fresh timely service kind staff the bathrooms were very clean

Everytime I go they get my order wrong and I'm already home by the time I notice. Bunch of kids that can't read work there appreciate.

Prices are good, the food is good, the line is never ending. Try to go off peak hours for a lesser, but still intimidating line.

My wife says I can't just leave negative reviews, so: I took my dad there for lunch. Of course it was super busy, but despite that, unlike everywhere else, the employees were friendly, which I think rubbed off on the customers as well. The food was quick, fresh, good. The environment clean and happy. So unexpected and refreshing. I don't believe in 5 star reviews. That means it cannot be any better, but I'll go ahead. It was actually very good. Except the parking lot. I cannot believe the City of Reno actually approved that layout. Shame. Oops. I mean, good job In n Out Burger. Well done. read more

I watched my burgers being done for over 5 minutes while the fry person was taking his time my burger was cold

The service here is always top notch. Food is top tier for fast food for many reasons, produce is always fresh, crisp. Fresh cut potato for the fries, soda is always a perfect mix and they keep the taps clean. This time we dined in, and they are always cleaning to make the place sparkle in the dining room. Drive thru is always a long wait, I attribute that to the quality of the food, low prices and outstanding service. You can only fit so many people in a kitchen, and it's full of hustle. We did have a slightly off a visit a few months back. Called corporate to let them know, and they answered at 845PM on a Saturday night. Color me amazed. Talked to a live agent. They sent an apology letter with cards for two comp meals, and gave me a follow up call the following week to check in. Holy $$$$$ wow. That is service on a level I have never seen, from any restaurant local or corporate, EVER. I WISH other companies would shine like that. Call Wendy's and you get no answer at the store, corp doesn't care and management doesn't return calls. Utter clusterf. read more

Simply the best. Great quality and fresh fast food doesn't exist anymore outside of in n out burger. The fries are made fresh from real potatoes. Get them well done for crispy fries if you want to try something different. It does get crowded and there can be a wait but the service is always excellent and they really do their best to expedite your meal even with a long line. read more

While I love In-N-Out, I've always avoided this location due to the line of cars in the parking lot. They do have the drive-thru operating fast and quick, but their food isn't really an "eat & drive" experience. My son and I dropped by at lunchtime, against my wishes, and I was impressed with the cleanliness of a packed restaurant. We were met by a new employee, Nicole, who got everything perfect on our special orders. A 3x3, cheese fries with grilled and raw onions, double double made different... So surprised that we were able to find a clean, empty booth, sat down for 2 minutes, and our number was called. Fresh, hot food, cold drinks and extremely friendly and helpful service. I'll be back! read more

I mean can one ever go wrong with In N Out? This one was no exception. Had the kids in the car and nearing bed time we needed some quick and that will keep them busy for the hour long car ride home. The drive thru was so long at about 630 on a Friday night, but walking inside with just a few people in line was easy breezy. Service was good they obliged my request for hats and kids activity books. And again, that burger animal style was de-lish. Inexpensive, easy, quick and seemingly not super greasy... I'm a fan! read more

The food was amazing I love the way the food comes in its own holder. It is always so crowded which is amazing in some cases. I would love to see an In-N-Out in Atlanta or anywhere else on the east coast. Best food really hits the spot after going around Lake Tahoe! read more

I love in and out but it shouldn't take 30 minutes to get a burger via drive through at 10:43am. It's 11:14am now and still waiting in line and don't have my food yet. read more

I don't go to In-N-Out all that often because of the crazy long lines. And now they have two lines in the drive up. So I decided to go in order two burgers to go. They at first put them in a box for in-house dining and they were sitting there then I said what number is that they told me that was my order. I said that was to go. So they had to go back and re-bag it. Also, I ate my burger in the car in the parking lot and the bun was soggy by then. Hardly any lettuce on it. Which I like a crunch on my burger. I don't know when I will go back there again. Their fries not a favorite fan of those. Not sure what the hype is about it. I guess if you craving a burger and want a drive-through and have it freshly made that would be the place to go. I don't know why they offered to eat it in your car because their burgers are so messy. Which I guess it's a good thing means they're juicy and not dry. read more

Mmmm I'm all about a burger when you're on the go and it's late at night. This location is awesome! The food is always consistent here, and the service is good. I like in n out because on any given day the taste is always consistent. The only thing about this location and most of the in n out locations is the drive thru line. Like you'd think by this point that in n outs would have a better drive thru system. Answer this when was the last time that you ordered in front of the menu and not a worker going car to car to take the order lol. Overall in n out is the main go to for fast food. read more

I grew up with In-N-Out Burger in Southern California and I honestly STILL think this one of the freshest burgers I've ever had. In-N-Out Burger - Double double with onions - Burgers Near Me - Reno, Nevada

This place is quite popular. Their menu is small, so they focus on making just a few items. The burgers are good, not really better than any where else. What makes the difference is their sauce. The fries are bland. If you get fried, order the animal fries. The fries are fresh cut, fried in a neutral oil, then salted. No seasoning and no taste without the animal style extras. The milkshakes are just soft serve ice cream. And the have the standard selection of Coke products, tea and lemonade. The only things that make this place standout as a burger place is the spread, the animal style offerings, and the prices. They are good and given that the competition is just okay, that explains why In-N-Out is popular enough to pay their employees well and still have very competitive prices. read more
