I'm just going to use my previous review from another local location for this one, as well...with a few things added. This is the newest location in our area and it's just as great as any other location I've ever been to! It's nice to have multiple locations locally, because, as we all know if we've been to one, the lines are always long...because the product is so good...but, they always move fairly quickly. This location is no different in that regard. Let's start with the fact that I don't eat fast food if I have a choice as to what I'm going to get! I traveled the USA and Canada for many years playing Sax with lots of bands (www.RickMetz.com) and the only choice I had was wherever the band vehicle stopped. Usually, we were under time constraints and we got the quickest thing available. I never liked it... But, if there was a little extra time available, I'd try to find a "real" restaurant in the vicinity to eat at. Didn't happen as often as I would've liked, but I made do. I've tried multitudes of fast food places because of those circumstances...nothing was really to my liking...especially the "major" fast food chains...you know which ones I'm referring to. Then I tried In N Out while touring through California!! OMG! I loved it! Smiling, friendly employees, clean establishments, great customer service...and still fast. (Pro tip: if the drive thru is jam packed? Park and go inside) Always made fresh and to order... Once I learned the "secret menu", that was the kicker for me! This is the ONLY "fast food" that I'll seek out... There's lots of debate as to their fries and their shakes. I like the shakes, but only get one once in a while...not a fan of the fries...but, I don't eat a lot of fries anyway... My go to? 2x3, Animal style, no pickles, no tomatoes, add hot peppers. Fantastic location. Amazingly, I can always find a place to sit inside, though there's plenty outdoors too. There's no reason to go on and on about their food - you know In-N-Out. Every location is the same. The only thing I can add is that parking (like most In-N-Outs) is difficult, and even moreso because they share with at least six other restaurants in the nearby strip mall. read more

We know better than to come here during lunch hours, but here we are. All the tables were full, some by people with take-out orders. There is a bench to wait for take-out, which was empty. The dining room attendant, Bruce, was friendly and attentive. As soon as the tables were vacant, he was right there to wipe the table down. He also makes sure every kid get an IN-N-OUT paper hat. I get the double double animal style and the fries well done. YUM! There's a reason this place is so busy, it's because the food is REALLY GOOD! The tables & booths usually require customers to clean the surfaces before sitting down. The floors need to be swept more often. The parking at this location is so bad, it's the nail that makes this now a 4 stars location instead of 5. read more

Hard to go wrong with In-N-Out as it is always consistent with the same pros and cons. The service is great and as efficient as can be, and you're always going to get a tasty meal with quality ingredients. On the flip side, you're going to either be waiting a long time in the drive thru or a long time in the restaurant lobby because it feels like there's not a second of the day where the place isn't packed and surrounded by hungry customers. So much so that I ate in the restaurant and when I went to leave my car was boxed in for an additional 15 minutes just to leave the parking lot with the drive thru traffic. Outside of the crowds I rarely run into issues, other than the ketchup dispenser seems to be empty whenever I go. The popularity is for good reason and it can still be worth the effort, but I would recommend, if you're in a rush, parking closer to other restaurants in the next lot over and walking into the lobby and ordering to go. read more

We were in the mood for some burgers and haven't been to a few In-N-Out burger locations below, we decided to give this one a try. Here's my take on the experience: Quality of food: Great. We had their two single cheeseburgers and side of fries. We added grilled onions to our burgers to make them even tastier. We dipped the fries in the animal sauce. Everything was done to perfection and satisfied our craving. Decor : Every chain looks the same inside...white with red accents. It's a classy look for sure. Cleanliness: good. Have been to this location multiple times. The service is always great, the staff is kind but, they can never get my order correct. I ask for CHOPPED chillies everytime and they either don't chop them or I don't even receive them at all. We usually love in n out burger. This location in Reno gave us old/ cold fries and the burgers were barely warm. Please don't take orders so far in advance via the drive through. Next time we will go to Carson City where we always had hot food. read more

My wife and I have frequented the In-N-outs throughout our seven years of marriage. When this one opened close to our home, we were elated. The restaurant in sparks was the next closest, however, the drive through was always a disaster to navigate and wait times were significant. Food was always good. The one south of town has a more steady speed and drive through experience, and the staff is great. Food was average. This one is fast, orderly, clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is always how we order, without a single mistake ever being made. And it's FRESH! I have heard rumors that every In-N-out has its own little stigma, or things they are known for. This one is known for its extremely strict policies. This may be the reason for its exceptional quality. My only hope is the workers get well praised. read more

How did I miss this review? Quality/Quantity - 1/24/24 Just left an amazing Yelp Event. The event had two seatings; I was in the first. There was not enough time to order extra foods or drinks as they needed to set up for the next wave of Elites. So I left with a decent buzz and the munchies. In N Out, here I come! Got my usual cheese burger, no fries. Yes, you heard correctly, no fries. Trying (but really failing) to eat healthier. Oh, while I am trying to eat healthier, should I add drinking less??? Atmosphere - Consistent with the brand. Not as easy in and out as many of the other In N Outs. But not too many customers this late at night. Open 7 days a week from 10:30am to 1am or 1:30 am. Limited small parking lot, but again, not an issue late at night. Service - Good. Price - $4, what a great deal! Hey every single time I come here and ask for a fry extra well, it is never extra well. Often it is not even well. It's not letting me upload the photos I took today but today was particularly egregious because I even told the person on handheld to please radio the person on fries and emphasize the "extra well," even hyperbolically said "burn my fries," and then when I got them, they weren't even light well, they were regular fries. I went inside and complained and they remade my fry and it was just barely well done. But this happens every single time I never get extra well fries (I worked at In-n-out I know what extra well fries are supposed to be). Also I order the flying dutchman every single time but I always end up having to ask for a fork at the window, every single time. Go here a lot, don't wanna have to drive to Sparks to get better service. read more

We waited 57 minutes for cold food, unmixed shake and terrible service. DON'T go inside the restaurant on 5th. Drive thru gets preference over those who go inside. Cars going through the drive the in 1/3 the amount of time - not an exaggeration. I'm sorry to those without the choice. It shouldn't be legal yo treat people who can afford vehicles better than those who can't, or choose to do better for the planet, or sit down to eat. Customers shared with customers why the wait was exceptionally long, not the staff who could have warned me when I ordered that it would take 45-60 minutes. I would have gone elsewhere. I didn't find out until I was 30 minutes into the wait from another disgruntled customer. I'm sad because In n Out is one of only 2 fast food places we used to visit. We won't be back. Our favorite is no longer our favorite after the last couple visits, but tonight was by far the worst service, food, and overall experience. Always solid. They've got good fast service even when it's busy. My go to is a Double Double Animal Style with chopped chilies. Sometimes the chilies are really spicy, sometimes they're mild. It feels seasonal. No complaint though, solid 4.5 stars. Bumping to a 5 because you can't beat the price. Great late night hangout. read more

Some shorter light skinned girl took my order July 16th around 7pm , couldn't make out her name maybe sharkisha or something , I tried to clearly order a 3x2 and when I got my receipt it said 3x3 extra cheese , I corrected her and she charged me more for the extra patty she was basically wishphering and didn't know how to do her job , then when I got my food it was 4x4 extra cheese an absolute grease pile was unable to eat it but didn't wanna wait another 30 mins for her to fix it so I left very disappointed read more

It's been great then 10 years since I've tried it ( I'm not a big fast food persons) This location was quite busy waited about 15 min before we got our order !! It's been awhile since I was at In-N-Out... I heard on KTVN that a new location is going to be on the corner of Kietzke & Plumb Lane across from the Little Flower Catholic Church. I love the Bible Verses on the bottom of the soft drink cup ( Nahum 1:7 ) ; bottom of the burger wrapper ( Nahum 1:7 ) ; bottom of the fries ( Proverbs 24:16 ). This In and a burger is located in a newly developed commercial are they includes Starbucks, Mountain Mikes. Chipotle and others. My wife was so looking forward to her first In and Out Cheeseburger in more than eight years. Like most In and Out Burgers in Reno m, it's packed. Expect to wait 15-20 mins for your order. Owen was nice and took our order correctly but after that the aura and halo effect came crashing down. My wife's cheeseburger was onions looked procure perfect. See the attached picture but the burger bun and the meat were cold. On top of that the meat had marbled pink coloring throughout. The fries were hot so clearly the burger was made first haphazardly and then had to wait for the fries to finish cooking. It was a poor experience and the excitement that my wife had to have her first In and Out Burger in more than 8 years was trashed as was her burger. read more
