    Fries!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Well the place was not packed but i was nice and clean except the drink station which needed a little attention.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] First off i want to start by saying i love the box of peanuts available to customers. They had an advanced soda machine in which i found my favorite Sprite grape zero. My burger was delicious with all the free toppings and the grilled jalapeños were amazing for my burger. Fries? the fries were everywhere in the bag over my cup we had so many we took some home the burger never made it out the door. Best burger in town. Prices are kinda high but worth it.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]They definitely have a weird vibe; I know no other place that uses their parlor as a storage room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They claim they have great fries, but they were just average to me. Their service was not that great. Their soda machine was about to run out of syrup si the zero cherry coke did not taste right. They served us fast, that's the part I like, but the food is not that great. I went because people say that this place is better than In-N-Out, it is not. The presentation of the sandwiches was terrible, and they give you your fries in a paper cup for some reason. I don't think I'm coming back.

First time at Five Guys and it did not disappoint! For a fast food chain, the quality really stands out. The burgers are huge, juicy, and packed with flavor. I loved being able to pick all my own toppings, makes it feel super personalized. The fries were a highlight for me: golden, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Plus, the portion size is generous easily enough for two people to share. The milkshake was decent, nothing extraordinary, but still a nice treat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is fun and casual, and I like the boxes of peanuts you can snack on while you wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We went during a quiet time, so we had the chance to look over the menu without feeling rushed. The staff was awesome, super friendly and helpful, and they explained everything to us since it was our first visit. My only complaint is the price it's a bit on the higher side for fast food but honestly, the quality makes it worth it. Would definitely come back!

Love the burgers and the fact they always give you extra fries. Everything is fresh and shakes are great.

Prices at Five Guys are getting higher and higher. I had been in Sacramento for an appointment and got into Reno after 7pm. Dropped into Five Guys to pick up dinner for the hubby. I knew prices here were higher than most Burger Joints but I was surprised at the price for 1 meal, $29.74! When I mentioned to the cashier their prices were getting ridiculous, he stated they were going to be adding Combo Meals to the menu. Burgers are good but expensive for fast food. Cajun Fries are the best! I had ordered a soda for the ride home but the Soda dispenser was chintzy with the syrup. Same issue a couple of months ago when I stopped in. Got my order in 15-20 minutes and took off. I get halfway home and realized they forgot the milkshake. Back to 5 Guys! I was not happy at all! The kids there are nice but need to pay closer attention to the order.

I'm on the fence whether or not to add a star but I think I'm staying with 3 star rating. I'm holding 5 guys to a higher standard for the prices they charge for their high quality product. I've enjoyed a burger here and they are good but I'm not wowed to the point if want to shell out the money for a small but tasting burger. There Fries on the other hand had me at hello!! They are boutique potatoes and the variety of potatoes are actually listed on a chalkboard. They elevate the whole French fry experience by cooking them in peanut oil and they are just the best tasting. High quality French fry you'll ever have and at least o. Par with French "Pomne Frites" So begins my most recent experience at 5 Guys. After sipping cocktails and listening to live Irish music recently, we decided to hit 5 guys for a large order of fries to go. I ran in for what I thought would be a simple and seemless to go order. I decided to add a milkshake to the order of for my husband who had remained in the car and thought easy peasy. NOT the case. I sat and scrolled my phone while nibbling on peanuts provided for waiting customers. After way to long if a wait I start fixing my gaze on the open kitchen and the hustle taking place. Finally an employee from behind the counter get my attention and has the milkshake I. Her hand reaching out in my direction. I go and retrieve the shake and imagine my fries will appear any second d. I go back to my seat and the wait goes on, and on... and on. At done point I realize my fries aren't happening as they've now starting calling numbers well beyond my ticket. I approach the person who'd handed me tgd shake and tell her that this shake isn't even for me and it's well on its way to total meltdown and my fries still haven't appeared. She was very nice and offered to remake the shake. I actually felt bad and didn't want her to have to do that. Still thinking my fries were going to appear any second, it's been over 30 minutes at this point. They determine that my fries order somehow fell through the cracks. Now I'm just standing at the counter watching the fry guy finally get my fries in the oil. It's going in 50 minutes and I'm just in unbelief. The reason for considering a gratis star is that aside from whoever dropped the ball on my order, everyone was incredibly polite and attempted to get it right in a very kind approach. I was also very polite yet frustrated when all of a sudden a manager type approached me and slipped two $10 5 guy gift certificates into my hand with an apology. My milkshake also was remade. At that point I couldn't get to the exit fast enough! When I got to the car my husband was slack jawed and basically said WTF? Yup, not entirely sure if I'll be back anytime soon but I did appreciate the acknowledgment from management regarding my pretty poor 5 guys visit.

Ooohh Lord! I been missing out, first time trying Five Guys and it was delicious! I can't believe I been missing out on this delicious burgers. They are Juicy they are big but not too big. I loved that I could customize my toppings which was very easy to do. The fries are fresh, crunchy and delicious. The milkshakes are also fantastic. I will definitely be coming back! Service was great, cashier explained all the menu after mentioning it was my first time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was good too I love the drawings on the portion of the walls, it smelled soooooo good as soon as I stepped in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Beefy's is my 5th place to try…read more Local spot with character and plenty of seating inside and out with the combo of bar+bus+picnic tables. Lots of fans including mist fan outside to fight the heat. Bus feels spacious but seating is a bit cramped with tiny metal bench seats. Service was great but the place wasn't busy at all on a weekday mid afternoon after the typical lunch period. I noticed quite a few reviews mentioned the prices were high. And when I got the bill for $60 for two people with tax and tip I might have agreed, at first, especially if my main repeat burger joints were In-n-out/Wendy's/Jack-n-Box. But comparing to those places is not apples-to-apples. It's 1/3 lbs patties here (70% more than the just below 1/4 lbs of meat you get on a Double Double) and quite a step up in meat quality from those chains. About $16+ for single patty burger and $20+ for double, but that also includes fries and a drink. I get the feeling people complaining about the prices have to be burger addicts with the review perspective of a frequent In-n-Out patron which allows getting your "fix" more frequently on the average budget. Burger is high quality all around and they cooked them actually medium rare as ordered. Many places don't give a cook temp option or still overcook. Fries were great, better than the freezer burnt airy texture of In-n-Out. My only criticism is both the fries and the patty had too much salt but not to an inedible point. A common occurrence though given the cook's and/or typical frequent fast food eater's salt-desensitized palate. So Beefy's ties at #2 with The Parlor sitting between my #1 Royce and #3 Archie's, then #4 Juicy's. Armando & Sons and Barrio Burger are next.

For starters, the food is decent…read more With that said, if you advertise Happy Hour prices, they should be honored. I went specifically for the Happy Hour wings, and when I received the check, the price didn't reflect the amount stated on the menu. I asked to speak with the owner, and instead of correcting it, she told me she gave me a quarter off and, with a smug smile, said, "Thank you very much." Sorry, lady, but your food isn't that great for you to be so confidently rude. In addition, this was my second visit this week. I only returned because my sister loves chicken wings, and because of the advertised "Happy Hour" price, I decided to give them another try. We also ordered a plain burger to go with just cheese, and when I got home, it was loaded with all the fixings, including sauce. I called several times to have the issue addressed, but no one answered. When I told the servers about the situation during this visit, instead of trying to make it right, they gave me a half-hearted apology. So yes, the food might be diner decent, but the owner's attitude and the poor service make the entire experience worse. I've worked in customer service for over 30 years, and not once have I treated a paying customer the way I was just treated. And if they want to respond to this review to justify their shitty service, great. Go for it. I was polite the entire time. All I asked was to be heard, for their advertised pricing to be honored, and for some basic appreciation for my business by simply making things right. Instead, the owner insultingly put two quarters on the table, as if 50 cents somehow made up for the $8-$9 difference we were being overcharged. It didn't. If anything, it made an already frustrating situation feel even more dismissive. And it really was an easy fix. If they couldn't adjust the Happy Hour pricing for whatever reason, she could have easily taken the $18 pastrami sandwich off the bill to make up for both the pricing discrepancy and the incorrect order we received during our previous visit just two days earlier. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was asking for an owner to recognize that her restaurant had made mistakes on two separate visits and make a genuine effort to correct them. In a city full of burger options, she had an opportunity to turn a negative experience into a positive one and potentially make lasting customers out of my family and me. Instead, she chose to be dismissive, smug, and rude over something that could have been resolved in a matter of minutes. That tells me everything I need to know about how she values her customers.

We ordered the Imperial Japanese Chicken Wings, the Frenchified Burger, and an order of poutine. The star of the meal was the chicken wings with the wasabi ranch dipping sauce. The seasoned shoestring fries served alongside were also excellent. The burger was very good, but it was essentially meat, sauce, and cheese. I like a little freshness on my burgers, so I was missing some lettuce and tomato. Fortunately, I substituted a salad for the fries and ended up piling most of it onto the burger. Next time, I'll just ask for those toppings to be added. The poutine, however, didn't quite live up to the versions I've had elsewhere. I'm not sure if they used white cheddar curds, but they were almost completely melted instead of retaining that signature squeaky texture. The gravy was just okay, and I don't think shoestring fries are the best choice for poutine since they don't hold up as well under the toppings. Overall, I'd definitely come back--especially for the wings and another burger.

The owner of Ruby Shake Shop routinely parks his Audi in the limited public street parking spaces along South Virginia Street directly in front of Raising Cane's, Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and the surrounding businesses. Anyone familiar with this area knows parking can already be difficult, especially during peak hours when people are trying to grab lunch, pick up an order, or make a quick stop. What makes this particularly frustrating is that these spaces appear to be occupied for extended periods of time, often throughout the day, by someone who owns and operates a nearby business. Public street parking in a busy commercial corridor is a shared resource intended to serve customers and visitors, not to function as a personal parking space for a single business owner. This review is not a reflection of the products or service at Ruby Shake Shop. It is simply feedback regarding what appears to be an extremely inconsiderate use of limited public parking in an area where parking availability already impacts customers and neighboring businesses.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's.
