    Chicken taco wed

Visiting from out of town. Flew in late night and my husband found this place near our hotel still open and drive thru. He said $1.50 chicken tacos on Wednesday. I didn't know what to expect, so I got carne asada fries. He got chicken tacos and I was able to try it. Stuffed hard shell tacos, I was actually impressed with the serving size given the price. Hot sauce was decent. Carne asada fries had seasoning. Easy quick late night Mexican fix.

We were looking for a drive thru on our way out of town and spotted Roberto's. There was no line in the drive thru so we decided to stop. We all ordered breakfast burritos and a side of french fries for my little one. Prices were decent. Our order was ready rather quickly. We got both red and green sauces. The burritos were smaller than expected but hit the spot!

**TOXIC FOOD HANDLING** Got a quesadilla, it was hot but the cheese tasted old. It turns out the quesadilla was from earlier and had clearly been reheated in the microwave while in the styrofoam container...the bottom of the box was melted. Not at all safe food practices...TOXIC and lord only knows what else they do to the food.

I went to Roberto's Taco Shop (the South Virginia location) this weekend; surprisingly, the drive-thru was devoid of customers, so I was able to pul right up to the order board. I order an asada breakfast burrito (sans potatoes) and an adobada burrito. The two employees I interacted with courteous and friendly; the wait time for my food was very minimal and the total cost for my purchase a was a little under $20. The burritos tasted good, it was expertly prepared. Each burrito was pretty substantial; half of it was filling enough and one burrito can easily be two meals. I use to drop by Roberto's every weekend but it's been a while since my last visit and although how the food is prepared (noticeably less eggs in the breakfast burrito), this visit was overall positive.

Say no more! Great nachos with lots of steak. Friendly service and the drive through made my day!!

Hard to go wrong at a Roberto's! Especially so early in the morning when you want some decent food, darn it's sunday morning, I could have had menudo. Gotta pay more attention to days. Always a consistent place for pretty decent food always and best yet, they are open 24hours. If you find yourself hungry at odd hours and you want a clean well lit place to dine at all hours, most Roberto's will fill the bill.

That was supposed to be cooked ground beef it's raw meat

Don't go if you don't speak Spanish. Ordered an asada burrito it's literally raw like law suit raw.

Los Gallos covered those two needs perfectly. Located on the main ave across from Circus Circus. Kinda cool pawn shops too but didn't have time to check them out. Walking in, it def has the authentic dinginess that is usually synonymous with authentic tasting food. Lots of handmade signs and pictures of food on the walls. And also lots of pictures from their hometown. It was a Monday afternoon and there were many local Mexican families eating there which is another great sign. Ordering was pretty easy. After doing me best To order in Spanish I realized the lady working there spoke perfect English. Haha. I ordered a shrimp burrito with everything and 3 street tacos all to go. It took a long time for the food to come out. There was a large party order that they were getting ready so I waited a long time. It was so long that I expected them to offer me a free coffee or soda but they didn't. The food finally came and it was a solid 4. The shrimp burrito was tasty and the shrimp was cooked really well. The tacos were good too. I'll def be back next time I'm in Reno.

The tortillas and chips were so good! I'm so bummed that I live out of town otherwise I would come regularly. We came on a Sunday, it was busy- so we needed to wait for a table, only took about 5 to 10 minutes or so to be seated. The service was prompt once we were sat, the staff have really good teamwork. They have a parking lot so it wasn't difficult to find parking and the interior was spacious and clean considering how busy it was. My man ordered an asada burrito and I got the birria combo. I tried a bite of his burrito and I liked that it wasn't extremely salty like a lot of places we've been to. My birria was extremely flavorful, the rice was perfectly fluffy and the beans were on point- I don't usually finish my beans because I'm not a huge fan, but I finished these beans, that's how good they were. They also gave us complementary chips and salsa. The chips were nice, thick and fresh and the salsa wasn't too spicy so everyone is able to enjoy it. 10/10 on the food! We will definitely be back next time we're in town, hopefully it'll be just as good next time.

The bread arrives with that perfect crusty exterior and airy interior that holds up beautifully once it's "drowned" in the vibrant, slightly spicy tomato-chile sauce. The pork inside is tender and flavorful, and the balance of acidity, heat, and richness feels fresh rather than heavy. It tastes remarkably close to what you'd find in Jalisco, which makes it feel genuinely authentic rather than a watered-down version for tourists. We also got tacos dorados de papa and those were pretty amazing too. The micheladas and chavelas are just as impressive. They're crisp, well-seasoned, and perfectly chilled, with just the right amount of lime, spice, and salt on the rim. They pair incredibly well with the tortas and make the whole meal feel even more special. On top of the food and drinks, the service really elevates the experience. The staff is attentive, friendly, and clearly proud of what they serve, checking in just enough without hovering. Overall, it's a spot that delivers on flavor, authenticity, and hospitality, making it a standout choice for anyone craving great Mexican comfort food. Will definitely be coming back.

Positively delicious. The sauce might be thin but I ended up using a spoon to slurp up every last bit of sauce after the Rellano was finished. So I was NOT at all disappointed in the Rellano. In fact, because I was still hungry I had room for their homemade Flan. I asked for extra sauce if possible. I was very pleased. There are many varieties of flan. I personally prefer a more textured variety that I refer to as Rustic. I would call this variety a very traditional SMOOTH variety. The flavor is wonderful. It was delicious.
