The food was pretty good. Not the Fuddruckers that I remember. The thing that amazed me about this place was the service personnel. Laurie was not only our order taker and cashier but she also ran over and grabbed peoples orders and took it to their tables, cleaned the customers tables, grabbed silverware and condiments for the customers, cleaned the drink station, condiments station and washed dishes. She never stopped. And all with a great attitude. I hope corporate appreciates the hard work that this woman does. read more

Sierra Sid's is always an interesting spot, you have the truck stop crowd, casino tweakers, homeless and random pit bulls in the parking lot. This one place is tucked into one corner of Sid's and the place was almost empty when we arrived. Tables and dining room are mostly clean but the windows are covered in grease and handprints. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and probably the only reason I didn't rate this place 1 star. Ordered my burger medium and it ended up being well done and not very seasoned while the fries, though cooked perfectly, were over seasoned. The toppings from the bar kept the burgers from being totally bland. Overall just disappointing for a place that used to be lauded when they first came to town. read more

The overall concept of Fuddruckers is great! After a long road trip, we needed a quick bite to eat before completing the last leg of our journey. This biggest issue I have with the restaurant itself is pricing. I ordered the chicken finger combo and paid quite a bit. We also ordered the back cheese burger only to also pay a lot. The burger comes plain but there is a free salad bar in the restaurant with all of the extra toppings you may want. I also paid about $5 for a soda but the fountain was out of order for almost every flavor expect 2 and the flavor I picked, was almost out of syrup because the drink was gross. I think we just came at the wrong time and I do think there is great potential here. The place is really clean and inviting. Service was also very nice. read more

Time for an update!! Hubs and I have been going to Fudds since the 90's. They are slowly disappearing and this is one of the few left so we try to visit whenever we travel to Reno. There use to be one near Scheels and it closed. This one is a full sized restaurant connected to a gas station. We came today for lunch around 1pm. The food is on point. We both kept saying Mnnnn. I like that the burgers are well seasoned and the burger bar to build your own parts. Love the cheese sauce to dip my fries and the pico de gallo was fresh. Only thing negative change was that they chopped the lettuce instead of keeping it as a large piece to cover my patty. The prices are VERY reasonable. You can easily get fries, burger and a drink for $15. Then to top it off, the service was excellent. Amber took our order at the front counter. She is a one woman show! She is the ONLY employee I saw besides the cook. She takes the orders, delivers them, and busses the tables. Even though this is a place where most of it is self serve, she still came by to check on us and refilled our drinks frequently. We had a very memorable lunch today. Man I love Fuddruckers. It will always be a staple for me. I'm so glad there's one in Sparks. There was only one person in the front and she was great at handling the small rush they had for just opening. Food is always amazing. I grew up coming to their old location, and I haven't been to this place in years. We decided to go here during Mother's Day, and it was quite clean here! The only downside was it smells like smoke inside the restaurant, but that's because it's in the same building as a casino. I wish they could find a way to control the smell but alas. The employees were super nice and gave our food in a timely manner. I believe my burger was a build your own, and it tasted quite good. They have a self serve table for condiments, which included the usual ketchup, mustard, mayo and even hot liquid cheese. Their milkshakes are good too! Just the right amount of thickness. I was concerned when I realized that this fuddruckers is attached to a truck stop/gas station. The dining area was not as comfortable as what i would expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the food. Our hamburgers were good and they were generous with the fries. I don't recommend this, especially the one in Sparks. The guy in the cashier named Glenn was unkind. I don't usually eat in a fast food, but since my parents are here for a visit, and my dad reminded this restaurant in his younger years, we dined in. His face was already sour when I ordered, despite giving him a pleasant smile. He never looked at me and was frustrated when I could not make up my mind if I went for sodas or shakes. This was my first time to dine in this fast food, I don't know the drill of ordering here, so I only told him what I see in the menu box "I would like a medium burger combo, then regular fries and drinks". I even asked him to be more patient with me, but he was making a face and said, "You are confusing me!" -- "what do you want? A combo or an extra?" For me, I just need a medium burger with medium drinks and fries, but he was so frustrated. It was a hostile feeling for me. I will never go back there. I'm sorry but I didn't give a tip. The ambiance of the place was really sad, and since it's near a convenient store with slot machines, you can smell the scent of cigarettes when you enter the premise. We were in town as a family for a youth sports tournament. We were so excited to see a Fuddruckers because we love their burgers and shakes and many in our area have closed down. 1. The area is sketchy. There are people that appear to be living in their cars in the parking lot and congregating in the area. Cigarette smoke from the connecting gas station seeps into the restaurant. The bathroom is in the hall that connects the restaurant to the gas station. Glad we went during the daytime. Do not send your children go to the bathroom by themselves - but that goes for any restaurant. 2. My burger was unseasoned and my onion rings were burned and inedible. Yes, it's in a busy truck stop.. lots of truckers and leftover burning man customers.. Shocked because it was larger inside and a really nice restaurant.. The last time we had a Fuddrucker was in 2010 (Emeryville, Ca.)... Amber -cashier-food runner-busier.. doing it all... Amazing service! Amazing food-love the onion rings- not greasy and crispy I love the buns and all the condiments! So glad I got my Fuddrucker! Next time-probably the smaller burger.. The problem is they had 2 people running the whole place. One in the front, 1 cook. It was busy. All truckers. We had to wait a long time for our food. The cashier is the same person that delivers the food and they don't want you to pick it up yourself. Since people kept straggling in, he kept taking orders while food stacked up and waited. We had tried Fuddruckers back in the day & remembered they had pretty good burgers, so we gave this location a try. Ordered a Large, that comes with two (1/4 pound???) patties...big mistake. The bun was way too small for this much meat, and could not hold up for two bites before falling apart under the pressure of the especially fatty type of hamburger meat used. What a mess. Maybe their Medium (single patty) might hold up better on this small of a bun. I can only guess that if they used the same sized bun for their 1 pounder...it would be a catastrophe. French fries were really good. Toppings bar is a nice feature, the lettuce, tomatoes, etc., were very fresh and awesome dill pickles. All this to say, we found it a bit pricey for the quality & experience, and probably won't be going back. read more

Definitely some pros & 1 con to this establishment. Let's start with the pros. The burgers were juicy as hell!!! I love that they had a veggie & condiment bar that allows you to dress up your burger any way you like it. The wings were no slouch either. (Y'all know I love my wings.) The menu is pretty deep. Food was pretty good. It's been a while a since I've last had Fuddrucker's, so it was great to have it again. But there were two fatal flaws with this location. 1) The location is very sketchy. A lot of thugs, homeless people, and smokers loiter around it. Mainly because it is shared with a casino within rural Sparks. I would not recommend this place if you have children because of this. 2) While service was passable for the most part, I stepped away from my table to use the bathroom and wash my hands for one minute, and then the server just took my food away. I wasn't finished with my food, and the server just assumed I was done just because I stepped away from my table for one minute to wash my hands. There's $17 of a meal half-wasted. Management needs to add a finished plate station for people dining in. I can't really fault the server because the system is idiotic. All you do when you're finished is leave your dish on your table and staff just cleans it up. The problem is let's say you're dining by yourself and need to use the bathroom. Staff will just assume you're finished and will just take your food away even if you're not finished. It's not my fault the nearest bathrooms are located on the far side of the casino and I have to hike a mile just to wash my freaking hands. All management needs to do is add a station where customers can place their dirty dishes at when they are finished with their food. Go to any fast-food restaurant, there's usually a station that says "do not throw away trays leave them here for staff to clean up" or something like that. Why can't Fuddruckers do just that? I shouldn't have to let the staff member know I'm using the bathroom every time I need to go do my business or wash my hands. Especially since sometimes nobody's around in the dining room due to staff shortage. It's a simple fix management can make that would prevent such a serious dining experience flaw from happening. Overall, my suggestion would be to just take your food to-go. The food itself is good, but dining in was not a great experience for me. read more

My time of eating in Fuddruckers was quite disappointing in Sparks NV in the TA truck stop. What I saw between a customer and a server was disturbing. The customer ordered something, it took them an hour to get the customer his food and when he got it the order wasn't right. Customer told the server and this is no joke, the server told him tough luck! No joke! So the customer dumb his incorrect order on the table and the server started recording him calling him names, so customer slapped the phone out of server's hand and the server decked the customer. I'll be very surprised if the customer doesn't file a lawsuit against Fuddrucker for assualt by one of their workers. If Fuddrucker is hiring worker's with this type of caliber, they deserve to be sued. read more
