I can see why the service could get pretty bad if it got busy. It seemed like there were only 2 workers in the restaurant. One in the front and one in the back. Tried the matcha tiramisu. So light and fluffy they jiggle when you move the plate. Not too sweet. They put the matcha syrup on the side so you can sweeten it to taste. So light I didn't feel full at all. Also tried the avocado croffle. Good but I think I might like the croffle plain better. You get a few fries on the side, emphasize the "few." They were large thick fries, but I had 6 total..... Knowing that they have long waits for pancakes there should something for guests (especially children) to do. Whether that be board games, a TV, just something. We ordered a cookies and creme croffle and Nutella banana soufflé. On this day the sign and cashier indicated a 25 min wait. We waited 45min for the croffle and almost 1 hour (2:15-3:12) for the soufflé. A group before us left before receiving their food because of the wait. When we got the croffle it was cold and not what I expected from other croissant waffles I've had before. I would not recommend them here. The soufflé seemed rushed and not very fluffy. A more eggy taste than I would expect. It may just have been under. Overall not my favorite dessert place in the area, I would recommend Utopia if you were looking for something sweet. read more

Service was good even when they're so busy. Tiramisu Souffle 5/5 - The souffle was fluffy, jiggly, and melt in your mouth just the way I wanted it to be. The flavor was so yummy. It still tasted good but not my jiggly pancake and a bit denser. Strawberry Refresher 5/5 - This drink was very refreshing and the sweetness level was just right. You can really taste the strawberry in the drink which I liked. Yuzu Refresher 4/5 - Yuzu is a Japanese fruit that's like a cross between a lemon and a grapefruit. The drink was good. It is a bit pricey since for 2 pancakes, it was $16 and the croffle was about $12. The pancakes were a bit dense but we really enjoyed the strawberries and matcha syrup on the side since it wasn't too sweet. The croffle was really good and we enjoyed how fluffy the whipped cream that came on top was. The inside is very welcoming and nicely decorated. Came here after a heavy dinner and didn't have any room left for dessert, but was feeling more in the mood to get a drink. Decided to try this out after their recent soft opening. Been told the current menu will be adjusted later with more items for the grand opening! My partner and I opted for a strawberry and yuzu refresher. I personally liked the strawberry one more, and the yuzu one tasted like those asian citrus drinks you make for the throat. Not bad at all though. This dessert spot is placed on the best location ever because it's in the Irvine District surrounded by lots of fun spots. This was my first time trying a croffle and souflee pancake... and wow what a great first experience! The tiramisu croffle was so sweet and decadent I loved it. My food came out in 25 minutes, but my daughter's sandwich never arrived, even by the time I had finished eating. It took some time to receive our order, though we were the first customers in the morning, I believe baking such pancakes requires time to keep the shape and achieve that unreal cloud texture. The whipped cream topping was very soft and subtly sweetened which was a plus because the whole dessert with all toppings is rather sweet, I would prefer it with less toppings. My family and I came by shortly after opening and were so glad we came early as the quoted wait time for Japanese soufflé pancakes was already 45 min! If you arrive hungry, the croffles come out considerably more quickly. Our ham & cheese croffle was crispy and adequately filled while the cocoa banana's flavors and cool cream were a welcome contrast to the croffle itself. We went with the signature and matcha tiramisu pancakes and both were quite impressive! The airiness was comparable to Gram (one of our favorites) and holistically, these are now the best ones to date in SoCal. While we understand that this branch is very new and has the expected hurdles regarding work flow, I really hope they overcome them soon as the wait times were approaching incomprehensible during peak hours. We overheard an estimated wait of 1.5 hours and no other souffle pancake spot has come even remotely close to this. I was excited to find a Japanese souffle pancake shop, so came in ready to love Fluffy Fluffy. The pancakes themselves are pretty good, maybe a 3.5 out of 5, with a more eggy taste than what I've experienced in Japan and a nice, airy, texture. The creme broulee souffle pancake was not brouléed at all, though the accompanying banana slices were caramelized. The lack of carmelization on the topping was a real disappointment, because nothing about the pancake was broulée. The cream on top was a bit clotted and nothing I would have chosen the way it was. I've had this exact item in Kyoto and it was delicious. This pancake was nice but the topping was not. We like a bit of savory with our sweet, so I got furikake tater tots and chicken karaage for the table. The tater tots were overpriced, frozen tots sprinkled with the tiniest dusting of furikake. The chicken was tasty. It took about 30 minutes for most of us to get our pancakes, but my youngest child didn't get his order. We made sure it was on its way, with the staff reassuring us it was coming right up. Everyone finished their pancakes, sharing with my youngest, and 20 minutes after all the other food had been served (50 minutes since ordering), he still hasn't been served his order. (It was a simple order, nothing that required more time than the other pancakes). We had a movie to catch, so I asked my son if we could get him something elsewhere, and went to cancel the order that we'd never received. Restaurants sometimes forget orders, it happens, no biggie. None of the workers tried correcting their mistakes or asking if we wanted a plate till we went up. That being said, I wouldn't recommend the Soufflé Strawberry Matcha Tiramisu as it's a heavy emphasis on the matcha.
