I went to Juan Taco and had the chili con queso w/chips and a carnitas quesadilla. Both were really good. I've never had a carnitas taco or quesadilla before and it was great. Realistically the chili con queso was definitely a full meal for one person, or something to be split between 2 or more people, and it should be because it was $5, wasn't amaaaazing, but it was a lot of food. Next time I'll probably get two of the carnitas quesadillas. Interested to try more places. Be warned that the ramen place's line was at a 30 minute wait time the entire time I was there eating my food. read more

Service at this location has really declined. The falafel is still good, but the curry fries have been pretty disappointing the last few times I've ordered them. Between the less than stellar service and food, I'm hoping that Oasis expands their hours to weekends so I can skip this place completely. read more

This is the 2nd attempt at yoshi-ya ramin noodles. The first time on their openning day, they were overwhelm. This time it wasn't busy so I ordered the tonkatsu ramin. Big disappointment. This was the worst ramin noodles I ever tasted. Its a ripped off folks spend your money somewhere else. I will never eat there again. I had a large group of friends visit and we of course couldn't agree on a lunch place, this was the perfect place to go. They looked at me a little strangely when I suggested a "food court", but it's more than that! Definitely an upscale version. Everyone got what they wanted and we all enjoyed our meal! Don't know what happened during my previous visited, but got almost triple the noodles compared to my last visits at . Yummy...it the quality and portions stay consistent, I can def see myself going to the mall just for some ramen at Yoshi-Ya! Love the bacon rayu chili oil. read more

We've eaten at Yum Yum Roll just about every weekend and love it!!! But I've noticed the quality of the food is not consistent! One weekend....the wait for brown rice was 20 min....then another weekend, there was a wait for steak! When I went there yesterday, they had brown rice but it was undercooked (raw) and hurt my teeth with every bite I took! I love this place but I may have to look for another place to try! I'm surprised management doesn't check for consistent food quality!!!!! read more

I loved this place. The Blatt was great as always. We mixed coconut beer and pineapple beer which was amazing. BUT I hated Clever Greens. I love salads. This place was awful. A regular salad is expensive and then if you want cheese its more. If you want bacon its more. Not a few cents more ... live dollars more for a small eighth of a cup. Chicken? More. I think I added 3 things on top of the lettuce and my $8 salad turned into a $15.59 salad. NOT awesome. So it needs a re-do. read more

I wanted to eat at the ramen place so I went with a "supper" high expectations. Results....Good place, if your sick and need broth but wasn't a huge fan of the food taste, actually prefer my ramen at home and for 11$ bowl I could get, let's see.....$11.00 divided by .17cents...OVER 60 RAMEN at home. I figure just drop a 1$ slim-Jim for your pork (if it's considered meat) and for the same cost you get a month of ramen bowls. The rest of the restaurants look good though and I thought I saw beer taps next to the pop which makes me think who's monitoring that when someone gets an orange soda or tea?Lol still worth a try though and it's fun atmosphere. read more

Ok so the Flagship Commons as food courts in malls go is pretty first-rate. Boasting some trendy "food-truck" like vendors offering good eats while on the go shopping. For variety Flagship Commons is good - tacos, burgers, falafel, sushi and ramen. I had some sushi and I had tonkatsu ramen from Yoshi-Ya Ramen. So this was the second or third time having been to the Ramen shop and the previous times were much better. This time my noodles were all stuck together - fused into one giant noodle clump. Definitely not Japanese - which seeks peaceful perfection in presenting a noodle bowl. The broth was also more chicken than pork. Tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet) ... Tonkotsu - broth made from pork marrow. Yoshi-Ya Ramen - broth made from chicken stock but called Tonkatsu (confusing). So, not sure if this was an isolated bad meal or if this is systemic of a falling off of quality since opening Flagship Commons but I will not be back for overpriced and badly cooked Ramen. read more

I have visited Flagship Commons twice now and ate at Yum Bowl, Yoshi-Ramen, and Amsterdam Falafel and Kabob. My favorite of the three restaurants is Yoshi-Ramen. There are not many other places to get ramen in Omaha, and the ramen is tasty and not too salty (although it is still pretty salty- it is Ramen!). Amsterdam is good but might be more expensive than the one in Dundee (and you get less food). The sushi at Yum Bowl was good but took a while to prepare. Overall I like the concept of Flagship Commons (upscale but mid-priced restaurants) but if I want to pay 15 dollars for a meal (especially a date night meal) I would like to go somewhere more intimate. I cannot believe that I just ate at the mall! This is no Annie's Pretzel, or Sbarros, no the mall has grown up and become sophisticated. The food was great. I had the kebab it was fabulous. I never would have thought I would ask my friends, "hey want to go eat at the mall?" But I think that day is coming soon. read more

I never did receive a response from my first review but I tried again because I was in the area and hoped kinks would have been ironed out. I would rather drive to the other ramen places than try the ramen again. Poor customer service is enough to make me not return. The establishment is quite nice and the variety of food you can choose from is just right. I like it. However, my impression of the place I have tried so far, was mixed. First, I visited the Yoshi Ya Ramen, the $Delux$ ramen was pretty tasty IMO, though the amount of food you get leaves you feeling somewhat yet to be full. Second joint was the Yum Roll where I ordered the Yum Bowl with chicken and JAP curry sauce. It was just ok, or barely ok. Luke warm food with mediocre sauce. Once again with the small portion at $8. I have also heard people saying the Clever Green serves more veggie than (very little) meat per oder at an also $$ price... I feel the FC is probably more catered to people who like to spend money for less food. read more

Clever Greens was a really tasty but expensive place for salads and wraps. I was okay with the price because of the size of the portions, but the portion sizes have decrease by half. $8 for a Caesar salad that is no more than 2 cups of lettuce when it was originally twice that size is ridiculous. Flagship Commons reminds me a lot of the food halls in upscale malls I experienced in Los Angeles and Chicago, except worse.... My friend and I went here for dinner on Sunday night, and felt like this concept still has some kinks to work out. For starters, if the goal is make this a destination for people who don't want to shop, just eat, then hours of the restaurants should be universal. Aroma was closed at 7pm when we showed up, and they are the only dessert/coffee place in the hall. The prices are also much higher than the old food court. I understand that they are trying to be classier than the average food court, but we spent over $30 for our meal from Amsterdam, and really felt underwhelmed. (Not to mention that the folks working at this vendor seemed not ready for primetime) At these prices, you can grab a meal at Granite City, Cheesecake Factory etc. that are all around the mall. Lastly, the dinning room is much smaller than I thought it would be. It feels like there is a lot less seating than the old food court, which could also turn a lot of people away, if they can't find seats. The positives are that they have a lot of large TVs with comfy chairs around them. They also have a foosball table, and the overall feel of the facility is classy. (Except for Blatt, which looks like a bar/restaurant you would find at a large airport) Food options are also a little healthier, having options like salad/wraps, sushi etc. I feel like Flagship Common has a lot of potential, but is really lacking when it comes to value and being different enough to attract the non mall shoppers looking for upscale fast food. I would encourage these guys to look at Foodlife in Chicago, or the Century City Mall in LA for this concept done properly. read more

Ate...well, tried to eat at the Blatt at Flagship Commons. Was super disappointed. I have been to the Blatt out West on multiple occasions and really enjoyed it, so I was wanting my husband, who is a super picky eater, to try it as well. We sat in the full-service section. It took at least 10 minutes before someone even came to take a drink order (we sat AT the bar!). I ordered a margarita, which took 15 minutes to get, and that was after I reminded the waiter I had ordered a margarita!!! We ordered an appetizer which took 20 minutes to receive, but they were really good- which is the only reason why I would give 2 stars tonight. We both ordered the Blatt burger. After a 40 minute wait, we finally received the burger, but after lifting the bun, realized it didn't have the onions or cheese on it. It took another 5 minutes to get the waiter's attention to ask about it. At that time, we were told we were given the wrong order and it was whisked away from us. The people next to us- who ordered at least 15 minutes after us- were then brought their corrected meal (the one we had received to begin with). We then waited another 10 minutes before our food, which had been sitting at the "Pick Up Counter" for at least 20 minutes, as I had been watching thinking that someone was going to get some old food, was delivered to us. It was ice cold!!! I asked them just to cancel our order so we could go. They were nice enough to not make us pay for the appetizer, margarita and chocolate milk my daughter had gotten, but I was super disappointed. I had been looking forward to my husband trying their amazing food all week. Just sucks when we only go out every once in a while and that is the service we receive. I will probably not venture back to Flagship Commons anytime soon. Too bad- I was looking forward to a fun spot to grab a bite!! read more

This is real food at the mall, not the junk that is usually in a food court. Yes it is more expensive than a $5 footlong at subway, but I don't mind paying reasonable prices for good food. I have been twice, had sushi once and falafel the other time. Both were good and what I would expect to pay at a similar place around Omaha. It is nice that after you are done shopping you can grab a beer and relax. They have a good selection of craft and local beers at reasonable prices. I am not a big mall goer. Having this option will make me more likely to stop by to grab some dinner and walk around a bit. read more

First visit to Flagship Commons. Long time Ramen lover. Choose to eat at Yoshi-Ya. Big mistake! BIG! HUGE! The line was painfully long and slow moving. I got the Veggie ramen which at 9$ was very overpriced. The noodles were undercooked. The broth was flavorless. The Shitake mushrooms were cold. The egg I paid an extra dollar for was also cold. For it being a vegetarian ramen bowl the only veggies in it was corn. Was really expecting it to be on par with other Ramen restaurants in Omaha. Yoshi-Ya's got nothin on Panna 88 or IKA. Next time I go to Flagship Commons I'll go with a known winner...Amsterdam Falafel and Kabob. read more

Went there for the first time with a friend on Sunday evening hoping to miss some of the mall crowd. Decided to go with Amsterdam's since no one was at the counter at the salad place, although they appeared to be open. When placing our order at Amsterdam's the staff seemed a bit confused on what I was asking for. I ordered the same way I do at the Dundee location. The food was mediocre at best. Flavors were lacking compared to the Dundee location. We ended up leaving the Flagship Commons and went elsewhere to get dessert as Aromas was closed while we were there, which wasn't late at all, around 7-7:30pm. We looked at all the locations menus and pricing in general were high for that type of setting. Prices were on par with some of the surrounding full service restaurants. I might consider giving it another try but maybe later when things run more smoothly. read more

Yoshi-ya is almost the exact ramen I had when I went to Japan. The broth is perfect, noodles are on point, chicken is very flavorful. I couldn't ask for a more authentic bowl of ramen. Omaha needs this! read more

To the people complaining about the business and the traffic on the weekend, keep in mind that this is in a MALL, everyone is going to be there on a Saturday! Not their fault. I think it's a great alternative to a standard food court. The wait isn't too bad on the weekday, so I recommend going during the week. read more
