Overall, overpriced and slow. Came off rush lunch time like 2 pm and service was slow, stood for at least 5 mins before being served. Burrito wasn't what I expected, personally not something I like. I've been here many times, and recommend this place to friends all the time! I love their selection, and their prices are very reasonable. I always get them make your own poke bowl with two or three proteins. I've tried the sushi a few times, this is great as well, and surprisingly flavorful, and fresh for a place with a limited menu like this! Now for the toppings, you can add on as many as you would like. They have avocado, seaweed salad, jalapeños, corn, masago, crunchy onions, nori, green onions, etc! First time eating here as I always frequented Maholo Poke Co. before they closed and I was weary to try anywhere new. I didn't need to worry becuase the food was delicious! I placed a to-go order of a custom bowl with tofu, seweed, edemame, surimi salad, avocado, and the Pokeworks and Shoyu sauces. I think they forgot the Pokeworks sauce, but I could be wrong since I've not had it before. Either way I went home and added some Kewpie sauce and it was amazing! It was better than I was hoping for after missing my previous Poke place for so long. My food was ready a few minutes early, the place was nearly full, and I was helped very quickly after entering. Popped in to Pokeworks recently for a casual afternoon lunch with a friend and it hit the spot! No one else was eating in while we were there for lunch on Saturday, but they were getting lots of takeout orders so I know folks have found Pokeworks despite it being less visible from the road. I ordered a Spicy Tuna bowl (regular size) and subbed in salmon. The sizes change based on scoops of protein, but the bowl size is a constant. It was super easy to sub in ingredients and sauces I preferred, and I also added a garlic spam musubi. All the ingredients were very fresh, and the regular was perfect for a filling but lightweight lunch. The musubi was excellent- I was a little nervous initially as it was prewrapped, but it was warmed and the garlic sauce was pleasantly sweet. A great addition that really conveys the Hawaiian roots. The seating area was bright, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely lunch here again! read more

The chicken was a little sus, I'd say about 75 percent of it was super tough and chewy. The salmon was pretty good and I got the classic poke sauce with it. The novelty of the poke burrito is what drew me to come here, and it's definitely good, but I don't think I'll always choose to do that instead of a poke bowl. It was so close to a 4 star review but just not quite there. I ordered via DoorDash and had no issues there. All items were included and correctly made. It was quick too which I appreciated. I ordered the bang bang chicken bowl and garlic spam musubi. Everything was just ok. The biggest issue I found was just an overpowering flavor of raw garlic which I never thought I'd say! I would love if they had traditional spam musubi. Also, a bit thicker, more browned spam would be good. The bowl had no obvious issues but something about the sauce or spices or garlic marinated chicken just didn't hit right. It was a sharp flavor that again, seemed like an overpowering flavor of raw garlic. The musubi wasn't super warm when it arrived so I might try to heat the leftovers, but the chicken and rice in the bowl seemed warm. I'll probably try the restaurant again but might try a different protein and different sauce. read more

This eatery has a line where the people get scoop the food for you, like Qdoba or chipotle. I'd say navigating your order is difficulty, but the staff are patient and helpful so that's nice :) The food is really good. In my eyes the best things to get on your bowl is the seaweed salad, crab salad, and rice. The lobster was good, the shrimp wasn't my favorite, and the spicy salmon was good as well.
