The interior is very unpleasant. A few tables and a bench. The vent system on the hood isn't very good and so you get the kitchen smells. Loud and annoying music as selected by the employees. Little flavor and few vegetables. A massive amount of rice underneath the meat. Tiny pieces of meat. Super high margins for the owner, but little value for the customer. Skip this place. read more

I ordered take out here, and unfortunately didn't receive my whole order. Additionally, I got the check bento box. I think the chicken was good, it was very similar to the teriyaki from Sarku Japan. I like the it included sushi and pot stickers. The sushi wasn't the best ever, and the pot stickers were missing some type of sauce. I also got the crab rangoon, and again, missing the sauce so it wasn't overall a great first experience, perhaps would be better in person. read more

Fast service, food came out super hot and fresh cooked. Veggies were crisp and fresh tasting, the chicken teriyaki plate was humongous and delicious. Crab rangoons were great. A lot of bang for the buck here, will definitely be back. read more

I first tried this little gem about a year ago when it first opened and I was impressed with their teriyaki chicken! My friends and I were so hungry we also ordered a side of shrimp tempura! It certainly satisfied our tummies! Went back about a week and a half ago when my boyfriend looked up their menu online an was interested in the shrimp tempura bento! A bento I didn't even know they had those!! And guess what? It's pretty darn good especially for the price of just $8.99! You get your food in a typical bento box you'd see from an Asian store or Asian food place and it comes with a side of seaweed salad, 4 pieces of gyoza, 4 pieces of their California roll sushi, two pieces of tempura and some yummy fried rice!!! It was so good to me I went back two days ago for more!! I love the variety of their menu, their great service, they also have a stamp card to get a free chicken teriyaki meal after your 5th meal!!! I'm so glad this little gem opened up and I hope people continue to support their good eats!! I know I sure will! read more

Teriyaki Express - Shrimp tempura bento $8.99 - Japanese Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

This place is just plain not good. The veggies are old and soggy. I ordered a salmon teriyaki and got three thin small pieces that were over cooked. I thought I was eating jerky. Maybe the chicken and steak are better but def not going back to try it. read more

Honestly taste exactly like sarku Japan at oak view mall. Super fast to receive the food. Was hot and made right in front of us. We got ours Togo and it was good and very filling! Only has 4 stars just because it wouldn't be a place I would be comfortable sitting and eating inside at. A little on the pricier side for the type of food and fried rice is definitely not fried it is just white rice with a little bit of sauce on it. read more

Ramen is one of my favorite types of food! My ramen was around $9 with tax and had leftovers for lunch the next day so it's reasonably priced. Teriyaki Express's ramen was okay, I definitely enjoyed the crab meat they added. I personally prefer the chicken shredded. All in all, if you're looking for a quick place for ramen, this is your place. We played our order via phone for take out and it was ready within 10 minutes! From reading other reviews, it looks like the chicken teriyaki and bento boxes are a hit! Next time, I'll try that! read more

Teriyaki Express - Chicken ramen before broth - Japanese Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

Teriyaki Express is a quick, fast, convenient teriyaki restaurant that I enjoyed. It is what it is: affordable, good value, decent flavors, and fast service. Don't come in here expecting a high end Asian fusion menu with medium prices. Come here with the expectation of a large plate of food for less than $7 and decent teriyaki flavors. It reminds me of the place in Oakview mall (or at least what used to be there). We got the chicken and shrimp plate and the beef teriyaki. Both came with some steamed veggies, a protein, and steamed rice (or fried). There was a lot of everything and the flavors were solid. Eat teriyaki food at Teriyaki Express. I would not recommend the sushi at all- although I never had a bite, I saw a few people eating sushi and the appearance told me enough. I doubt the ramen is good as well. All in all, I enjoyed my visit at Teriyaki express and would definitely return. read more

I really wish that when you ordered sushi for take out here, they would stop putting it on top of a box of very hot food. Two times now I've ordered sushi and it was packaged on top of hot food, which in turn makes the sushi very hot and inedible. The food is alright, but that's twice now I've wasted money on sushi I couldn't even eat. I feel like it would be a very simple thing to just pack hot and cold food separately. read more

I have honestly never been a fan of Teriyaki, but they have won me over!! I usually order the Chicken Teriyaki with fried rice and vegetables. If I'm not in the mood for something hot, I order the California Roll. Which is just as good. They are made fresh. I work next door to them making them extremely convenient as well. Always made to order and fresh, it tastes amazing too. The staff is always friendly and kind as well. I would definitely recommend eating here. read more

I love it ! The crabragoon soooo delicious! I had the teriyaki chicken just wish I had more chicken so ask for extra chicken service was great place was clean . read more

Awesome portion sizes and price. Food was good. Fried rice left a little to be desired, but otherwise very good. The staff was awesome. Extremely helpful and kind. The crab Rangoon (normally my favorite thing ever) didn't have crab in them. So it was really just an overpriced cream cheese wonton. Would highly recommend this new restaurant to anyone- just skip the crab Rangoon. read more

If I could give this place a higher score, I would. The food was great and very affordable. The teriyaki chicken is less than $10, filling, and delicious. Add beef, shrimp, and spring rolls--still about $12. This is coming from someone who is very picky. Why have pizza (unhealthy and next door) when you could have something decently healthy and tastes great? The service was really good, too; and fast. Very friendly, and the owner works along with everyone else. The young girl that works there is really pretty, too, not that it matters. I can't believe they are not busier here. I will eat here every time I'm in town. A hidden gem. read more

Teryaki Express has delicious food. I've come here many times and they have never disappointed. The staff here is friendly and fast! Teriyaki Express - Chicken and beef bento as recommended by the worker - Japanese Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

My 3 brothers and I were in the mood for some inexpensive, Asian food on a Sunday afternoon, and one of them said he had heard about this place from a friend, so we decided to go. It did not disappoint. Three of us got the teriyaki chicken (which also comes with steamed sliced carrots, broccoli, and cabbage) and one got the chicken ramen. It was fantastic. The complementing teriyaki sauce was terrific (they even give more for free on request), and reminded me of Sarku back in Westroads a bit. The food came quick (within a few minutes, the ramen following a few minutes later). Relative for it's price (it was $9 for me because I asked for extra meat) the portions sizes were large and the quality was above average. I could barely finish mine, and the others were full just with their smaller portions. The brother who had the ramen said it "hit the spot". And although I didn't try it, I wouldnt expect alot since they aren't trying to be an establishment that specializes in ramen. Also, the staff was amazing. When they were free, some talked with us (acceptable given the casual environment). They were all very friendly. I was also happy with the level of cleanness in their kitchen. Even tho it was the middle of the afternoon and no one was there, the employees were staying busy cleaning, which I like. All in all, when you understand what this place is and why you're going, it's always going to be a 4-5/5. We will definitely be returning. read more

We had Teriyaki Express to-go and I think it was as good as if we would have had it there. The Chicken Bento box was delicious, the seaweed salad needs a little bit more flavor. My boyfriends Shrimp Teriyaki was great and such a big portion, he loved it. We also got the Dragon Roll, that was amazing! I would love to try this place again sometime. read more

Bland ramen, unsauced teriyaki, bad crab Rangoon, overly salty, extremely underwhelming

this is the only place i will go to to get asian food. you can get the chicken teriyaki for literally $8 and it's a lot of chicken, they don't skimp you out. they add cabbage, broccoli and carrots and they'll add extra if you ask. it is amazing and the staff is really cool. im telling y'all you need to go get you some forreal read more

I have been here 4 times now since they have opened and tried a couple different things. I do have to say this is typically not my preferred type of food. However, the great location and most of all friendliness and helpfulness of the employees here is truly refreshing! I have always been offered a sample of their chicken teriyaki which is delicious. This is what I have had twice now. The chicken and shrimp teriyaki bowl ($7.59) comes with steamed or fried rice and vegetables which consists of broccoli, cabbage, and carrots. If you don't want or like any of these simply ask them to omit. The portion size is huge and is placed in a to-go container even if you are eating in which is handy because then you can just close the lid and go when you are ready to leave. Both times I have taken half of my meal home with me and eaten the rest later. There is so much meat on the dish too it's crazy! A great value! The other thing that I have tried is the shrimp tempura bento box. This is another great thing to get to-go as well. It comes with 4 Gyoza, 4 pieces of sushi, a small vegetable salad (carrot and seaweed), and in my case 2 long pieces of shrimp tempura on a large bed of fried rice for $8.99! That is a lot of food!! You can call in your order and come in and pick it up. It also says on their menu that they have delivery available! I highly recommend you come by and check this place out for yourself. You will not find a staff more eager to please. read more

If you liked Sarku at the Westroads, You will like this place because it's the same since it closed at the Westroads, they have been looking for the right place and they found it. It makes coming into this place a really pleasant experience. read more

I've been here twice since they've opened; the first visit I wasn't that impressed with the food, but the second visit I was happy with what I ordered. So far I've tried the Teriyaki Chicken and the Teriyaki Chicken + Shrimp. What I mainly didn't care for was the crab rangoons, they seemed overcooked the first time, so I didn't get any on the second visit. The menu is simple, the service was fast, and the staff and the owner all seemed really friendly. I'll definitely be returning here when I'm in the mood for anything covered in Teriyaki sauce. read more

If your looking for inexpensive good sushi this is the place to go. It's obviously not going to be as good as the expensive sushi but it's really good for cheaper sushi. Only downfall I would say about this place is that your gonna be waiting about a half hour for you me food even though they say it will be about 15 minutes. Other than the wait though this place is good! read more

Teriyaki Express, the restaurant name that explains the menu entirely. On the menu their is various meats (chicken, beef, salmon, shrimp, ect.) cooked in their yummy teriyaki sauce! Limited may be the word used to explain the quantity of sauces at Teriyaki Express, but definitely not to explain the quality of the flavorful meal and kind service. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try! read more
