This is a great Chinese restaurant in the area. It's just a few minutes from Offutt AFB, and is the perfect speed for a sit down lunch break. The food is simple Chinese food with great flavor, and isn't greasy like some other restaurants. The ambience is that of a typical Chinese restaurant, nothing fancy, but clean and cozy. This is my favorite restaurant!! I have always gotten take out from Jade Palace, but my boyfriend and I met up with a friend and ate in and it was so wonderful!!! I have lived in Bellevue for quite some time and have come here now and again thru the years. Recently it has seemed to change ownership a few times so decided to try it out again after the last change. Everything we ordered up was very good and looked great. We normally end up getting food for a couple littles and adults so always a variety of dishes. The vegitarian Fried rice which i use to compliment other meals had ALOT of ingrediants and tasted pretty good on its own and was a huge portion. For take out the main dishes come in their own lil box and your rice in another which is a good way to make sure each part of the meals stays their best. I just finished up the left overs a week later and everything was still very good and no spoiling! Your mileage may vary but they are also open on mondays when alot of other places are closed. I love this place. A Bellevue, NE icon. One of the cleanest restaurants in Bellevue. Beautiful seating areas. Great booths. Quiet clean air. Exceptional food of every oriental variety. Good Korean menu. Very good sushi. I had a Chinese standard; Happy Family with sweet and sour soup and excellent crab Rangoon. Service was outstanding. Tea was hot and always refilled. Cold mug of water with ice. This is not the first time we have been there. It is the first time I reviewed it. We have friends who go here to eat. I would recommend this house of oriental cuisine to anyone. read more

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is clean, tidy and they are always super nice! I sat down and was asked for my drink order immediately (Pepsi products). I ordered the lunch combo which comes with a main dish, fried or steamed rice, soup choice, an egg roll and a crab Rangoon. I scarfed it before the pic, sorry! I added my Diet Pepsi and the total was $12.31. As you can see, this is going to feed me 3x! The food was good! Just enough spice today, because heartburn is a beast! You could get it kicked up. I will order extra chicken next time for more preteen because this dish was heavy on carrots and light on chicken. (Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce, add snow peas). Service was excellent!! Love Jade palace I missed it so much when I was gone in New York for 5 yrs l. But making up for lost time. I have not been able to make it in. But...del8very the food is always hot and delicious. I could NOT Find anywhere a descent Hot & Sour soup in Syracuse NY. But....these are the dishes I prefer or more so I've tried and have never been disappointed. Mongolian Beef, Almond Chicken, Sweet & Sour chicken, Pepper Steak, so on the Crab Rangoon is great, egg rolls. I just haven't tried anything I didn't like. read more

It has been a while since we've dined here. They've added a few new items on their menu, but the sushi has been the significant change from before. I've always been a fan of their Mongolian Beef and am glad to say that it's still as good as I remember it. There's a little hint of sweetness in the sauce that just for my liking. I highly recommend it. Note that the Mongolian beef is not listed on their lunch menu/specials, but you can definitely order it. This comes with your choice of soup (hot & sour or egg drop), but wished that soup is hotter (temperature wise) than the barely warm temp they serve you. They have a good selection of sushi with wholesale pricing, but I wasn't exactly wowed with the taste and the presentation. Overall, glad to know that Jade Palace is still a great dining option for folks looking for a change of pace while in the Bellevue area. read more

This used to be the Go To Place for me and my family. It used to have amazing food and service. But then, "something" changed. The flavor of the food started to decline. The meats used in their dishes became tough and often fatty and over-chewy, and the seasoning seemed "off". Then, things got serious. My favorite dish was their almond chicken, but then I got a take out order where all of the almonds were rancid. Luckily, I caught it before eating too much. A week or so later, my wife got mushu pork and it was SOOO salty - completely inedible. Had to throw that out too. Then, finally, I ordered almond chicken - gave it one last try - and once again, the almonds were horribly rancid. One more wasted meal. After each incident, I called them to make them aware of our experience, but since food quality (and safety) issues still kept happening, my final phone call was to tell them about the third incident and to say that we weren't going to eat there anymore. Got tired of wasting money, throwing away food, and the disappointment when they repeatedly failed to fix these problems. A couple friends and a cousin told me that they had similar experiences of either horrible or unsafe food, or simply that "something " had changed and that the food no longer tasted good. So sad. For years, we went here for birthdays, graduations, and parties. It was our Go To Place for years. Very sad ending. read more

Next Chinese restaurant in Bellevue and maybe Nebraska. I have only been here once and I don't know why it took me so long to try this restaurant considering I pass it all the time. They have chow fun, and char siu, which does not seem very common in Nebraska. The fried rice is also good. The kids size is very generous and enough for both of my kids to share. The person who took my order was very nice and the employees I interacted with when picking up my food were all nice too. I can't find any of my pictures and will make an edit the next time I eat at this restaurant, which will be soon. read more

A few of the Chinese restaurants here in the Omaha area have "secret" or "authentic" menus- well, if you can speak Chinese or read the all Chinese menus. I'm fair at best with my Chinese and have completely forgotten how to read the characters after all these years without practice- but it's not intimidating to get an authentic meal here at Jade Palace at all. Jerry (owner) and Lily are both totally saviors when it comes to ordering from the authentic menu- I can either describe a dish or they can offer some explanations to help me order off the more traditional menu. They do plan to offer an English version in the near future for non Chinese speakers. Now, I have nothing against American dishes like fried rice, General Tso's and peanut butter chicken, but the real stuff here is worth trying. If you do not speak the language or read Chinese, but feel adventurous- ask for some suggestions and they will be happy to help. I suggest the king oyster mushroom and beef stirfry and the salt and pepper shrimp for beginners to the authentic menu (before you try the pig ears and intestines perhaps :]) Parking here is a breeze and the dining space is really large. It's nothing too too fancy but it's clean, inviting, and friendly. They also have a drive thru and a high volume of take out orders here. While we're talking about the food here- which is mostly Chinese with a dabble in Sushi- check out Jerry's other sushi-train ventue 'Yamato' off 72nd and Pacific for more yummy Asian eats. read more

We ordered from them online which was the first mistake since it isn't their website. The website shows small and large options for the entries with a $3-4 difference in price so we ordered large on 4 entries. When we got the food, it was in the same smaller boxes as we have gotten in the past. We called the restaurant only to be told they only offer one size. She said could make any one. I ordered Szechuan Beef w/steamed rice. She asked if I wanted choice of soup with that. Don't normally do soup but aske Sue if she wanted to try Won Ton. Never had it. Two dumplings and broth. Not bad...if you like that kinda stuff. Beef was spicy but good. Lots of onions and peppers, which suited me just fine. Had to aske for boxes for the next 3 days meals to take home. Yeah, right. I mean it. I told servers that my fortune cookie said I didn't have to pay for this meal....so I walked out. No, kidding. I have always wanted to try this restaurant. We got to go this week. It was wonderful. The food was cooked to perfection. We loved the egg drop soup. The egg rolls were marvelous. Visited this location during dinner time with a large group. The tables were sticky. Wasn't fond of the server giving us all the egg rolls on one plate and advised us to "pass them down". Of course this resulted in someone taking an egg roll when they weren't supposed to, the server then said "I guess I'll get a few more" as if wasn't already included in our meals. Ordered the volcanic chicken w/fried rice & strawberry kiss. I thoroughly enjoyed the strawberry kiss, the fried rice tasted gummy and I picked through my dish to eat the chicken and broccoli. For the first half of our experience, we sat in a poorly lit and sile room. As the sun set, we asked our server to turn on the lights, she "didn't know we wanted lights" and turned on the lights and music. I wouldn't recommend this location. read more

Tried Jade Palace for the first time for lunch during the week. Standard Chinese restaurant. Specials of the day are posted on a board as you walk in. Only one server, but she was moving pretty quickly. Lunch meals come with your choice of either hot and sour or egg drop soup. We tried both. Both acceptable. Entrees were Chicken Moo Goo Gai Pan and Pad Thai combo with beef, chicken and shrimp. Food came out quickly. Taste was acceptable. Pad Thai did actually have many noodles (surprising) and they tasted undercooked (slightly disappointing). Price was pretty decent. Jade also has a drive thru for you to use when in a hurry. Not my favorite Chinese restaurant, but if in the area and wanted those particular flavors, I'd stop in again. read more

As a Chef I find it hard to go out to eat and not be critical of the establishment, today I googled sushi near me and found this Jade Palace, on Galvin RD. Quiet and nice decor, the American waitress was super friendly and her service was awesome, very knowledgeable of the menu, I was very impressed with the presentation of my meal. Everything tasted great. I will definitely make this a regular spot to take friends. I am a garnish artist and asked to meet the person who did the vegetable carving that garnished my plate.
