Now a lot of flavor in it. I had some of my partners General Tso's and it was actually pretty solid. Great flavor and a great amount of sauce. Got DoorDash tonight and it was fast and a good price. First the good: the crab Rangoon are the triangle ones, and were tasty and as expected. Second, I ordered a small order of the plain fried rice and wow, it's honestly some of the best rice I've ever had. I can't explain why but it is GOOD. The okay - the egg roll that came with the meal was fine, and I also got a little bag of the wonton strips. Like I said, for the price, it's a good deal. The not so good - the Mongolian beef had a weird flavor and smell. Fish sauce maybe? I don't know. To be honest I only ate a little because it was worrying me that maybe the beef was off. Also, the hot and sour soup had huge chunks of fresh mushroom which was awesome, but was really bland and lacking much substance other than the mushrooms. A small family owned restaurant that has been turning out good food at reasonable prices for years. Good selection of items to choose from. There are also lunch and dinner specials. Most of the business is take out and delivery, but there are 11-12 tables and booths to sit at. Only one waitress, but the food orders still come out pretty fast. This is an okay place to get Chinese takeout from I guess. The food takes a little longer to prepare here compared to other Chinese restaurants; it's normally a 30 minute wait here. Food is a bit pricey considering the quality; it's not the best quality food but they price it up as if it is as good as food from a Chinese takeout place that actually deserves to charge that much, so you'll be paying around 18-20$ minimum if you get a meal with side and a drink. I got beef fried rice as well as fried dumplings which was maybe a mistake. The dumplings are soggy, too chewy, sticky and bear almost zero flavor on the outside. I had to keep spitting the outer part of the dumpling out because of what little flavor it had, and the flavor isn't good when you actually can taste it. The meat on the inside is only a little better. The rice on the other hand tasted pretty good; tastes like how beef fried rice from a Chinese restaurant should taste like, although the beef is a bit full of fat. Since they can make the rice alright, I'll assume that they possibly have some other options on the menu that may be good as well so I won't give them any less than 2 stars because my experience wasn't totally bad. I just like having good dumplings to accompany my rice, and I'm not a fan of the dumplings here. Plus the beef is a bit fatty in the rice, and I know better places that have zero fat in their beef. There's other places that make the dumplings better, and can make my overall meal better & faster for the same price so I'll probably stick to my normal takeout places. Honestly though, they shouldn't charge what they charge for their food because in my opinion it's not worth the price. Only a place like Han's Golden Dragon or House of Lee deserves to actually charge as much as Sechwan Sunrise does for their food because at least the food is worth the price at those other places. read more

Disappointed. Seen good reviews for the dumplings tried them and they were very under cooked in the middle . Crab Rangoon matches Panda Express. Same with the beef and broccoli. You were the only place near me that wrapped their own dumplings, until recently. The dumplings were a primary reason for going there. Also the sauce for the General Tso's chicken was watery. Our team at work ordered food for lunch and they were able to deliver it to our work. The prices were dirt cheap, $4.25 for a lunch special, $.50 for crab rangoon and $.50 for soup. Very cheap. However, I was quite disappointed with the quality of food. The egg drop soup has a lot of yellow food coloring, which made it look almost neon yellow. My shrimp and chicken combo dish was super bland. It had a lot of vegetables and barely any chicken or shrimp. The fried rice was the only thing that was edible. We order from here about once a week for delivery. The food is actually quite good. It comes steaming hot and it arrives in like 15 mins most times. We stopped by to check this place out on our way to the Twin Creek Theater. There were some glowing reviews on Yahoo Local, but when we arrived, the place was empty (at 6 PM on a Friday night). The owner says they do 90% of their business as takeout and I can see why - the interior rates about a -10 in terms of atmosphere. The food was standard Americana Chinese - not horrible but not great either. The worst were the egg rolls, which were kind of soggy. The crab rangoon were better, though again, not exceptional in any way, and our meals - Shrimp Lo Mein and Shrimp with Broccoli - were a little too salty, but otherwise fine, just unmemorable in every way. Steamed dumplings people, get them, I promise you won't be disappointed...this and their eggrolls are the "above average" items on the menu. Feeling extremely cheap? Try their lunch buffet for around $5-6, and fill up on the aboved mentioned dumplings and egg rolls. If you can, call and pick up, it's always ready in about 10 min, or be lazy and order in to have it delivered to your door...usually about 30-40min tops. The food was delicious but the service was slow. The people who worked there had their kids playing with loud video games while we tried to eat. One of the kids was barefooted and walking his feet up and down the walls while we tried to eat. They were yelling in their language that they needed to poop and that they needed toilet paper. Used to love this place. Moved away a couple years ago and went back to visit. They no longer have a buffet., what??We still stayed for lunch, because I used to love their food. The reason why I am giving this place a two star rating is because it was not as good as many make it sound like. I went in today to give it a try because my friends say it's the best, cheapest Chinese food in the area. I'm going to start of saying that that is not true. I ordered beef and broccoli with lo mein. Beef an broccoli was about 8.15, and got charged about $2.50 for the lo mein. The quantity was definitely not much. I've been to other places and got this same order for under 9 bucks. This was outrages pricing for one person for the little amount of food I got. If I could post a picture of it I would. The taste, let's say it wasn't that great. I'll say it was decent, but I have definitely had better. The noodles were dry, but I'm at least satisfied with how the meat was cooked. My sister and I agree that beef and broccoli did have a decent flavor although we have definitely have had better. My sister got the same order as I did with an order of orange chicken with white rice. Her bill was a total of $20.50. It might be the price for dinner, but definitely still not worth it. Overall, if you have the kind of money and don't mind spending a lot for a little bit of food, this is the place for you! If you want more for a lesser place, I'd try somewhere else. read more

Some of the negative reviews say things that are absolutely true. Their egg rolls suck, the interior is shabby, and they do have their kids hanging around in the restaurant. That being said, their kids are nice, and seeing other peoples kids just doesn't bother me. I wish they had better egg rolls, but the hot and sour soup is great. I never expect much from lo mein noodle-based dishes, but their other stuff is good. Wish they would fix up the inside. I hate any restaurant with carpet. The staff is great.
