I used to like this place but l have been disappointed the last few times. Wonton soup tasted like dishwater.

Got DoorDash tonight and it was fast and a good price. First the good: the crab Rangoon are the triangle ones, and were tasty and as expected. Second, I ordered a small order of the plain fried rice and wow, it's honestly some of the best rice I've ever had. I can't explain why but it is GOOD. The okay - the egg roll that came with the meal was fine, and I also got a little bag of the wonton strips. Like I said, for the price, it's a good deal. The not so good - the Mongolian beef had a weird flavor and smell. Fish sauce maybe? I don't know. To be honest I only ate a little because it was worrying me that maybe the beef was off. Also, the hot and sour soup had huge chunks of fresh mushroom which was awesome, but was really bland and lacking much substance other than the mushrooms. I probably won't order from here again unless I need that rice! read more

A small family owned restaurant that has been turning out good food at reasonable prices for years. Good selection of items to choose from. There are also lunch and dinner specials. Most of the business is take out and delivery, but there are 11-12 tables and booths to sit at. Only one waitress, but the food orders still come out pretty fast. Overall, a really good value for the money. Tasty food, decent portions, reasonable prices. read more

I got the Sechwan Chicken lunch deal. Service was a bit slow, never got a refill of my drink. The inside of the restarting is exactly what you'd expect it to be. My lunch was relatively bland. Now a lot of flavor in it. I had some of my partners General Tso's and it was actually pretty solid. Great flavor and a great amount of sauce. I probably won't come back, but if I do, I won't get Sechwan Chicken. read more

I did take out from here and it was done fast and the service was great. The food was good but not great. I would say that if you are looking for Chinese food done well and fast you cannot go wrong with ordering or going here. read more

Average Chinese spot. Wasn't amazing but wasn't terrible. There are better Chinese restaurants in the area, but if you're nearby and craving Chinese it will fill the void. read more

Awesome customer service and consistently good food. Portions are generous, and pick up orders are ready quickly. I miss the in-house delivery option that did not come back after COVID. read more

Meh. Not the best Chinese I've ever had. Wouldn't order here again. Service was fine as I just placed a to-go order.

Ordered take out through Ubereats, arrived with sauce spilled all over the bag and was a huge mess. Food was okay, pretty bland and very heavy on the rice vs protein. Egg drop soup tasted like nothing. read more

Great tasting food for a great price. (To-Go). Very good portion size. I got two entrées and ended up having leftovers for two days, which is spectacular! Very pleasant service as well. Additionally, my order was prepared quickly. Looking forward to coming back and dining in. Though I live in Glenwood, which has a Chinese restaurant, I drove to Bellevue to try this place. It appears the employees at the Glenwood restaurant don't like people dining in. read more

This is one of my favorite places. Three stars for skyrocketed prices, and they don't use my delivery service. Costs me a lot of money, had to leave the area. Shrinking amounts of food served. read more

We placed a huge late night order and it did not disappoint! The po po platter appetizer was super delicious! Egg rolls and crab rangoons are a 10/10. This was some of the best egg foo young I've had in a while. Yum!! The service was good though we ordered out. It was ready so fast! The inside is a bit drab and dirty. So I suggest take out. Everything we ordered was fresh and had amazing flavor!! Must have again! read more

This is an okay place to get Chinese takeout from I guess. The food takes a little longer to prepare here compared to other Chinese restaurants; it's normally a 30 minute wait here. Food is a bit pricey considering the quality; it's not the best quality food but they price it up as if it is as good as food from a Chinese takeout place that actually deserves to charge that much, so you'll be paying around 18-20$ minimum if you get a meal with side and a drink. I got beef fried rice as well as fried dumplings which was maybe a mistake. The dumplings are soggy, too chewy, sticky and bear almost zero flavor on the outside. I had to keep spitting the outer part of the dumpling out because of what little flavor it had, and the flavor isn't good when you actually can taste it. The meat on the inside is only a little better. The rice on the other hand tasted pretty good; tastes like how beef fried rice from a Chinese restaurant should taste like, although the beef is a bit full of fat. Since they can make the rice alright, I'll assume that they possibly have some other options on the menu that may be good as well so I won't give them any less than 2 stars because my experience wasn't totally bad. I just like having good dumplings to accompany my rice, and I'm not a fan of the dumplings here. Plus the beef is a bit fatty in the rice, and I know better places that have zero fat in their beef. There's other places that make the dumplings better, and can make my overall meal better & faster for the same price so I'll probably stick to my normal takeout places. Honestly though, they shouldn't charge what they charge for their food because in my opinion it's not worth the price. Only a place like Han's Golden Dragon or House of Lee deserves to actually charge as much as Sechwan Sunrise does for their food because at least the food is worth the price at those other places. read more

Food nice and hot. Flavor was very good. Service was very good. Nothing fancy about dining inside. Very basic. Price was very good. Carry out business was very busy. We would go back. Oh I forgot - food was served on paper plates!!! read more

Delicious food and friendly staff! I've been going for over 4 years now and have never gotten tired of the yummy meals!

Meant to order from Sina Way but got Sechwan Sunrise by mistake. Still very good, your standard Chinese takeout.

Disappointed. Seen good reviews for the dumplings tried them and they were very under cooked in the middle . Crab Rangoon matches Panda Express. Same with the beef and broccoli. Based on this I won't be going to their restaurant (ordered delivery) will say as far as delivery goes it was great through grub hub. read more

Ordered take out. Orange chicken was the best I've had in the area so far. Singapore chow mei fun was on point as well.

Sechwan sunrise. Did you change from wrapping the dumplings to buying frozen pre-made ones? Because the frozen ones are awful. You were the only place near me that wrapped their own dumplings, until recently. The dumplings were a primary reason for going there. Also the sauce for the General Tso's chicken was watery. What is happening? Hopefully just a bad day or new employee situation. read more

Decent take-out. During COVID she would come out to the cars to take orders. I called ahead. Good takeout, and the garlic chicken was good. Didn't like the hot and sour soup, but sometimes my standards may be too high. Definitely will go back when I'm in town (regularly). read more

Fast delivery for Americanized Chinese food is a plus. They have all the usual suspects and do them as expected. Overall the food is not bad and arrives in large portions. SaCha Beef: generous tender beef with nice amount of mixed veggies - not overwhelmed by sauce and not spicy Szechuan Beef: tender beef and crisp veggies - more sauce and again not spicy Mongolian beef: tender beef with fair amount of onions Sweet and sour chicken: a hit with children everywhere - tempura chicken breast fingers with sweet sauce Lo mein chicken: very simple and good with plenty of tender flavorful chicken - a favorite with our Little's Dumplings steamed or fried: once they were fluffy dough balls filled with tender flavorful meat - another time not as tender but still fluffy - last time very firm overall as if overworked both dough and filling then frozen to be reheated. Crab Rangoon: good Have nothing to say about the interior but have ordered delivery a few times when visiting Bellevue. Phone ordering has always been easy and polite. Delivery person has also always been polite and fast. For Chinese delivery in Bellevue this is preferable over the others. read more

Our team at work ordered food for lunch and they were able to deliver it to our work. The prices were dirt cheap, $4.25 for a lunch special, $.50 for crab rangoon and $.50 for soup. Very cheap. However, I was quite disappointed with the quality of food. The egg drop soup has a lot of yellow food coloring, which made it look almost neon yellow. My shrimp and chicken combo dish was super bland. It had a lot of vegetables and barely any chicken or shrimp. The fried rice was the only thing that was edible. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

I love that they will customize a dish for me (I detest broccoli, and they make sure none is in my version of dishes that would otherwise contain broccoli). Very friendly service and very reasonable prices. I've loved every dish I've ever ordered. Great portion sizes. My preference for Chinese food in Bellevue. read more

This is the only chinese restaurant I really like in Bellevue, mostly because the chicken does not taste like they boiled it and then put the sauce on it. That just really grosses me out! I love the chicken lo mein here and the crab rangoons too are really good. They have delivery service, even when it's really snowy out so you don't have to drive. They are super fast too! Yep, my go to place for Chinese in Bellevue. read more

We stopped by to check this place out on our way to the Twin Creek Theater. There were some glowing reviews on Yahoo Local, but when we arrived, the place was empty (at 6 PM on a Friday night). The owner says they do 90% of their business as takeout and I can see why - the interior rates about a -10 in terms of atmosphere. The food was standard Americana Chinese - not horrible but not great either. The worst were the egg rolls, which were kind of soggy. The crab rangoon were better, though again, not exceptional in any way, and our meals - Shrimp Lo Mein and Shrimp with Broccoli - were a little too salty, but otherwise fine, just unmemorable in every way. I'd consider going back, but I wouldn't seek it out. read more

My local Chinese delivery/take out place of choice. Reliable, cheap, you order by numbers, chopsticks on request...you can't go wrong here. Steamed dumplings people, get them, I promise you won't be disappointed...this and their eggrolls are the "above average" items on the menu. Feeling extremely cheap? Try their lunch buffet for around $5-6, and fill up on the aboved mentioned dumplings and egg rolls. If you can, call and pick up, it's always ready in about 10 min, or be lazy and order in to have it delivered to your door...usually about 30-40min tops. Almost all their business in the evening is take out, so don't be surprised when choosing to dine in for dinner if you are the only ones. read more

The food wasn't good, egg rolls were soggy, crab rangoon was better but not by much. We got chicken lo mein and I have to say the worst I've ever had. Will not be going back. read more

We order from here about once a week for delivery. The food is actually quite good. It comes steaming hot and it arrives in like 15 mins most times. And we usually order like 6 to 8 things because we have a big family. The people who own the place are nice and the delivery person is always super friendly. Definitely worth eating here! read more

Second time I've ever been here. So far so good! Crab Rangoon was delicious. I got the sesame chicken and my sister got the Mongolian beef. Both were/are delicious. Great flavor. Place is quite and simple. Seat yourself and order from your table. Nice staff. Fairly priced I would say! I'll be back! read more

Sechwan Sunrise - Sesame Chicken! - Chinese Near Me - Bellevue, Nebraska

We get the same thing every time. Service is quick, food is hot, people are friendly.

This is a wonderful place that is like a best kept secret!! I love the ease of ordering and getting it in more minutes, sooooo delicious and so reasonably priced. I love the variety of choices available and the Empress Chicken is hard to find anywhere else and amazing! It smells so good it hardly makes it home intact when ordered for takeout! I would shout it from the rooftops but I like that it's my favorite little secret place when I need yummy Chinese comfort food!! Its the Best in Bellevue and all around the metro!!! Go there!! Don't walk... RUN!!! read more

Wow, this place has fast service! I also like their Covid protocols(masks, gloves, everyone staying in car, etc.) Food also tastes great!

Place is amazing! Fresh and a lot of food. Was a great surprise when we moved to this neighborhood.

The food was delicious but the service was slow. The people who worked there had their kids playing with loud video games while we tried to eat. One of the kids was barefooted and walking his feet up and down the walls while we tried to eat. They were yelling in their language that they needed to poop and that they needed toilet paper. I won't be back to stay and eat but will order out. read more

Fast delivery time, fresh main course, no utensils, soup was nasty (won ton), egg rolls were greasy, and leaves bad taste in your mouth.

This is my favorite place to get Chinese ! They have never messed up an order and is always fresh ! The crab ragoon is the only food item lacking! read more

Ordered $40 worth of food, told delivery would be in 30 min. Order delivered an hour later but more than half was missing. Called the restaurant and they had to remake the meal and deliver 30 min later. All that followed by horrible bland food quality. No offer of discount made by restaurant after all that. Horrible experience, bad customer service, and food ended up in the trash due to poor quality. Never again. read more

We really enjoy our food here. I always get vegetable lo mein and my husband gets shrimp lo mein and egg drop soup. Sometimes egg rolls. We live close enough to take out. My husband would probably like more shrimp in his lo mein would be the one thing they could make us happy with! read more

The reason why I am giving this place a two star rating is because it was not as good as many make it sound like. I went in today to give it a try because my friends say it's the best, cheapest Chinese food in the area. I'm going to start of saying that that is not true. I ordered beef and broccoli with lo mein. Beef an broccoli was about 8.15, and got charged about $2.50 for the lo mein. The quantity was definitely not much. I've been to other places and got this same order for under 9 bucks. This was outrages pricing for one person for the little amount of food I got. If I could post a picture of it I would. The taste, let's say it wasn't that great. I'll say it was decent, but I have definitely had better. The noodles were dry, but I'm at least satisfied with how the meat was cooked. My sister and I agree that beef and broccoli did have a decent flavor although we have definitely have had better. My sister got the same order as I did with an order of orange chicken with white rice. Her bill was a total of $20.50. It might be the price for dinner, but definitely still not worth it. Overall, if you have the kind of money and don't mind spending a lot for a little bit of food, this is the place for you! If you want more for a lesser place, I'd try somewhere else. read more

Used to love this place. Moved away a couple years ago and went back to visit. They no longer have a buffet., what??We still stayed for lunch, because I used to love their food. I ordered Kung pao chicken. It was not how I remembered it. It had a lot of breading on it and was kind of mushy. I hope we just showed up on an off day. I'll try it again the next time I'm in town. read more
