I will order the peanut butter chicken from Ming's as long as they're serving it and I'm alive and breathing. Been a staple in my "diet" for 15 years. Everything else is good too. And cheap! Service is always awesome. Egg Foo Yung is another reliable Go-To. Ming's is the best. read more

If I could give a 0 star I would. The people working here are extremely rude. I ordered over the phone and they didnt communicate that they only do cash so I had to lgo get some and when I came back to get my food they didnt even give me my exact change back, I had to tell them it wasnt correct and they were very rude during this whole process. just picked up from here, service was great and atmosphere was fine, it came out quick but probably because everything tastes reheated.. the fried rice got cold in minutes and tastes so dry as if it was microwaved.. the sesame chicken I ordered just tastes like orange chicken with sesame seeds on it, and is really mushy as if it was also reheated. the eggroll is super overcooked, the best thing are the dumplings which are normal.. the hot and sour soup I got was alright.. lastly the prices dont match online as to what they are in store by a few dollars.. (p.s. sitting here trying to eat this fried rice and its so gross and the chicken is so mushy I actually cannot finish it this is genuinely the worst fried rice and "sesame" chicken Ive ever had) cant believe I paid almost 18$ for this... Ming's Chinese Papillion Ate here for the first time tonight, kept hearing a bunch of hype and with a 4.4 on google, (guess i should have checked yelp)I expected decent Chinese. I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice. The fried rice had zero flavor, may have well have been reheated white rice with splash of soy and over cooked egg bits, was clumpy and flavorless, sesame chicken was also very blan, I had put a good amount of salt to bring any flavor out. Me and the wife were very disappointed, we have yet to find a good Chinese place, except the Chinese food served at Umami's is pretty good. The service tonight was the worst. We called in an order at 6:26. They told us it would be ready in 15 minutes. We got our food at 7:18, and they ran out of steamed rice which was for one of our orders. I don't know what happened, but this wouldn't have happened in the past. I used to recommend this place 100% of the time. I know the economy is tough, but their dishes are far from as generous as they used to be, and also less tasty or with more filler. I used to be able to get 2 GENEROUS double meat entrees for less than $20. Now I'm not even sure if I'm getting double meat? Tons of rice, some egg & barely any veggies. Meat quantities are barely noticeable & overall the fried rice is pedestrian. I would have taken a better picture if yelp wasn't a POS wanting access to my microphone. We had lunch here today and had no idea how popular it was! We were greeted warmly and had so many items to choose from we decided on all our favorites. We had delicious wonton soup with wontons, noodles and chopped veggies. At first, I thought the broth was salty, but realized it had a touch of spiciness go in on. I ordered the egg rolls and chicken chowmein that were both tasty. My husband had the Kung pow shrimp he enjoyed and I, their hot tea. Everything was served hot. The service could not have been better. Just a side, the hot tea came in a styrofoam cup while the rest of the dishes were plates and plastic cups. Also they only take cash or check, but have an ATM available for use. Takeaway? 1. We were delighted to be able to get all we could ever eat for just over $20! 2. We were thrilled at the business they're bringing in. And 3. They were right under our noses in Terra Plaza. Another great Papillion find to share with friends and family! read more

The only bad reviews on this place are from the Karen's of Papillion. The food is incredibly well priced and has never been bad for me. I've been eating at this place for the past 13 years and never had a single issue. Thankful they were able to keep their doors open! I almost don't want to write this review for fear of spoiling a good thing. Prices are ridiculously inexpensive but please don't let the management know. Portions are more than I can usually eat in one sitting. Ergo doggy bag/box. Service is laid back usually a cute high school girl or cool high school guy. Not professionals but very competent. Just left and was totaling our checks because we had the check split between 4 of us. We were charged $10 more than our bill and we noticed after the fact. We called and the lady we spoke to said they cannot do anything as it is cash only. They were not helpful or willing to compromise at all. Do not recommend. Has the public now accepted low quality, poor service, smaller appetizers, and non assistance by servers... who stand around the counter while not refilling water, remove trash, and checking if your meal is ok....is this the new norm here. Probably some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. We had the sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, and the Mongolian beef for takeout. Zero flavor. Tossed the egg drop soup because it was inedible. Only the egg rolls were descent. The crab rangoons had barely any filling. I've never had bad fried rice before in my life, until now. Had to drench everything in sweet and sour sauce to make it edible. And to top it off they don't take card. Definitely not worth making a stop at the ATM for. Bring cash or check. I know that always tends to throw people some confusion, but it's the way they've always run business. I've never saw it as big deal. Chicken Fried Rice. It's always been my "go to." So much so that I'm not sure I can speak much to the other dishes well though I've tried many of the dishes. It's my comfort food. However, I'm on here to say that I've been rather impressed with their communication both online and in-person (during pickups). They're very honest and up front. They've had the occasional issue getting stock during this whole COVID19 self-quarantining. As a result, some dishes have had to be temporarily suspended or lack something - usually for at most a day or two. What that confirms for me is that they are dedicated to using fresh ingredients in their dishes, and it comes through in the experience. Ring em up and get takeout! read more

We just got back from having our first Ming's meal-take out-needed something quick and easy on the way home and a hankering for ChInese... we are now going to drive the 12 miles from our house to eat at this place and only this place! Best service ever. Fast. Scratch sauces-that were off the hook Y.U.M.M.Y.!!!!! PLV, you have a hidden gem out there. If you haven't tried it before-do. We had crispy chicken, beef(locally raised and butchered) broccoli, yum yum chicken, egg rolls(hand made)and crab ragoons(hand made). Goodness gracious. Still family owned I hear from the staff. Wow! I've eaten hundreds of meals from there now, most of them carryout. They all tasted good, I never got sick, and I got wrong orders maybe twice. When I say hundreds, I'm not exaggerating. They almost never mess up an order. Their service is great. They bend over backwards to help customers while also being kindly firm with toxic ones. I've noticed some low reviews recommending you go to Dragon Cafe instead. Let me put this as simply as I can. Don't listen to anyone who recommends Dragon Cafe. Every person I know in the area makes fun of Dragon Cafe. That place is wack. Go to Ming's instead. Also, China Star in Ralston is good if you're looking for a buffet. There is no "amazing" Chinese restaurant that I know of in the area. There used to be one, but it closed down. A lot of the bad reviews on the website say things that are just untrue. I had no idea this place existed until a friend introduced me. Such a great (very casual)Chinese food spot! I would feel more comfortable if the place were cleaner, this is why I can't give 5 stars. My first time here I had beef lo mein, crab rangoon and wish I brought my sweats because the portions are so big! Comfort Chinese food for sure. Ordered from Ming's tonight based on a recommendation although it was a bit of a drive from our home (totally not Ming's fault I live elsewhere). I'm glad we made the trip. The kids devoured the peanut butter chicken which was stellar. My wife described the egg drop soup as saltier than what she is used to but far more flavorful and less watery or greasy. She'll order it again. The crab Rangoon was standard. Nothing extraordinary but who needs anything more than standard crab Rangoon? I ordered the hot and crispy chicken. It was a very good meal but nothing ground breaking and a little tame for a menu item labeled spicy. I still finished it. Not disappointed. The egg rolls were so so so good. I wish we ordered 10. For the price and the experience, you can't go wrong.
