Ordered the pepper steak with crab Rangoon, fried rice, and egg drop soup. The food came out fast, hot, and the portion sizes were great for the price. The pepper steak was tasty and the crab Rangoon had a nice crunch. The only letdown was the egg drop soup--it was pretty bland and could've used more flavor. Overall, a solid spot with good value. Pretty good Chinese food here at a reasonable price. Mushroom chicken is good but wish it didn't have so many extras in it. I prefer just the mushrooms and meat. Mongolian beef was also really good but I got the combo and so it was mostly rice and not enough meat, next time I'll just order it by itself. we had our dinner delivered it came very quickly. Everything was hot however the crab rangoon had a sweetness that was unusual and did not care for it. Egg foo Young was very greasy and the vegetables were not chopped VERY large pieces of Broccoli made it less than desirable . Egg drop soup was bland nothing soy sauce didnt improve. I've always had a soft spot for Chinese food, and this did not disappoint. We had ordered takeout and the portion sizes were larger than anticipated (and great for leftovers). Packaging was perfect (no leaks). Ordering was a breeze. Delivery was quick. And everything was accurate. That alone is an impressive thing! The food itself... Well, maybe it just wasn't for me. The flavors between the different dishes weren't particularly distinct (and that's ok). I, personally, just didn't rave about it. The dishes were a little too similar in their preparation. I will add that the leftovers reheated well. Which is also a good thing. And I liked that they offered a fried rice option, as opposed to just white or brown. I feel like 3 stars is fair for this spot. It's not bad but not anything I would rave about. I got generals chicken and crab Rangoons. I really didn't like that you have to order them separate some places come with atleast one side item. They don't skimp on the servings I ordered the rangoons as an app 4 pieces and the generals chicken was a lot of food. The taste was average the sauce had a little kick to it. Some of the chicken was chewy it wasn't super high quality. I won't rush back but would eat here again if I'm in the area. read more

The small dining area has been cleared out and the kitchen has been hermetically sealed away from the customers. You insert payment through a little slot to the right of the counter. They've rigged up a system of ropes and pulleys to transfer your food through an airlock. I'm impressed by their creativity and by their concern for their customers. The food was good, but nothing special. I don't see any "genuine" Chinese dishes on the menu--it's pretty much the same Americanized menu you see at most Chinese restaurants. They have a few more healthy options than some places, which I appreciate. They are on the east side of the Bakers store, facing 120th. Parking is horrible and the parking lot traffic is crazy; next time I'll park in the lot to the south and walk in. This was my first visit, but I'll definitely be back. read more

Early in 2018, I discovered this little gem as they are located two doors from where I used to get my hair cut. At first I tried the almond chicken, but something in the taste was off-putting. I still don't know what it was, but I haven't tried any entree again. I quickly developed favorites, the steamed dumplings and crab rangoon. I only order those exclusively now and don't regret it. The dumplings are fantastic, as is the rangoon. Both are made fresh every time I order, which is a large plus for me. Even better is the location, China Wok is not even five minutes from where I live. Recently I introduced my fiance to the steamed dumplings since I know she likes them. She was not disappointed, just as I knew she wouldn't be. As long as they keep making tasty yummies, I'll keep coming back. PS: they are on GrubHub and Skipthedishes if you want delivery. When she finally took the call, I told her she hung up on me and she didn't care. I asked if she spoke English, she said no. Yet spoke enough English to ask what I wanted, if I wanted white or fried rice, if there was anything else, what my phone number was and that the order would be ready in 10 minutes. When standing in line to grab our food, she was in an argument with another customer, who was a 94-year-old lady. We have problems with her every single time. She's extremely rude, short and will yell at you. I think we will look for another place that appreciates our business. I don't need to be treated this way and pay for it. There are a few tables and chairs where you can eat, it's more of a take-out place. No atmosphere. It's small, a bit run-down, with the big stock photographs on the wall of all the different dishes you can order. But the food is decent, you get a lot of it, and it's cheap.
