The food, service and ambiance was all amazing. Everything we ate was delicious. Extremely attentive service. I would highly recommend

The location is very aesthetically pleasing. A good spot for pictures. We were greeted upon entry. I Went earlier in the day on a Friday so they wasn't busy at all. The owner was very sweet and welcoming. The food wasn't my favorite and pretty pricey for what we got. If you like a good strong drink I would not recommend the drinks they were good but not worth the buck. The parking is horrible in this area even though we came mid day we still had to park down the street from the restaurant. Their on site parking lot only holds about 6 cars and it was full.

Stopped by in the evening on a Thursday around 5:15pm for dinner! They were decently busy, people in and out all the time, they were turning tables quick! Service was on top of it, helping talk us through the menu because we didn't know about anything, recommended items, etc! The food to me was authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, nothing I have ever tasted before! It was all delicious! Came out quick, hot, correct, perfect! They let us know they do brunch & Saturday night dancing as well! They have a small parking lot but there is street parking. There is bar seating & normal table seating, and patio!

Stopped by on a whim and now we have a new favorite lunch spot! A welcoming space, plenty of natural light, cheery staff and flags greeted us. Our server helped us choose the Cuban sandwich and from the appetizer menu the plantain tacos with fish for the protein. The food was delicious! The best Cuban sandwich we have had in over a decade, served with fries and yummy aioli; and the tacos nestled into plantain tortillas?? were perfect for lunch. If the parking lot is full, there is plenty of parking on the street to the east and north.

Elie's Chinchorro was such a hit! Our server was fabulous; offering many recommendations, including the delicious Caipirinha cocktail and volcano margarita. The beef in the beef empanadas had so much dimension with a scratch-made rich dough. The Pernil/Roast Pork Mofongo included juicy and tender shredded pork on top of seasoned plantains. Elie also made 'the rounds' at end of the meal--she's such a delight! It's also beautiful inside.

Eclectic | portions | simple Eclectic - The overall aesthetic is eclectic, with a vibrant mix of Hispanic-inspired decor and playful design elements. There's a fun Instagram-worthy wall for photos, colorful flags draped like a bar canopy, and eye-catching art pieces--even some hanging from the ceiling. The space gives off a lively, energetic vibe that makes it feel unique and full of personality. Portions - The portions here are generous, so definitely bring your appetite. For the amount of food you get, the price offers great value--it's a solid deal, especially for a new spot in the area. Simple - The menu is relatively simple, with a solid variety of sections that keep things approachable. It includes the classics you'd expect from a Hispanic restaurant, along with a few regional items that add unique flair and may pique your interest. Pro tip: Staff are warm, energetic, and happy to offer recommendations. However, seating is limited, and it's closely tied to the small parking lot--so if the lot is full, the restaurant likely is too. That said, parking is typically easy to find, making it a convenient grab-and-go option if you want to stroll through the nearby shops.

We loved the atmosphere, this restaurant is so cute and colorful! Service was excellent and they took their time to explain the menu for those who may not be so familiar with the options. We want to go back and give it another go but we were not in love with the food or our choices.

    Jibarito Sandwich
    Trina B.

The Jibarito Sandwich was so delicious, and I paired it with a Sprite. The waitstaff was really attentive and gave us the food as it came. Ambiance was chill, had a view of the road and music was playing, so it made for a good eating experience. The parking can be tough and minimal, so carpool if you can, or walk if you live nearby.

We had dinner at Elie's tonight and had an amazing experience. It was fairly busy at dinner time, but the service was still great! I had a pina colada and it was so delicious and fresh. Next we started with several great appetizers-Papa Rellena Frita, Alcapurrias, Masitas de Pesca'o. All delicious and would highly recommend. For our entree we had the Ay'Bendito/Mofongo with shrimp and Tripleta Sandwich. Both were so amazing. The atmosphere is very fun and welcoming, Elie brought our appetizers out and it was so much fun to meet her. We will definitely be back!!

Well I came back again to this fine establishment. It was a Friday. Very busy but always accommodating very helpful as always I ordered the roast pork. I wish I remembered the name but shredded roast pork with onion and a potato side so yummy. Made my day from a long shopping trip. The broth that came with it had the right umami. Staff is always nice. And the vibe is always busy and friendly. You Can't go wrong eating here.

Oh my God!!!! Hands down the best Puerto Rican food in town!! The Cuban sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. All of the food was delicious!!! The atmosphere was great and pet friendly patio. Inside was cozy with a great view of downtown.

Great Neapolitan style pizza, with classic and unique flavors. It's a smaller pizzeria, so if you're going on a weekend, get there early or maybe set a reservation. They do have bar seating and do online orders for takeout. I've had both and a great experience. Service is always great and friendly, with overall a welcoming feel. There is some outdoor seating considering it's in the millwork commons, so a great idea for a warm day too. The meatballs were a wonderful and classic appetizer but if you're an olive fan, I couldn't recommend the fried olives more! They were surprisingly flavorful from the fry and paired with the calamari, I was a huge fan!

I decided to try this place again after being unimpressed a couple years ago…read more Still unimpressed. It's fine. It's cute. Staff is nice. The flavors are just not here, though. Pizza crust somehow still has zero flavor, and the toppings can't make up for it. We got the prosciutto pizza because it has arugula. So we had the arugula flavor. There was a nice balsamic vinegar reduction applied extremely sparingly. I got the Brussels sprouts again, I wasn't as impressed with them today as I had been last time, but the pizza was a bit better so that evened things out. I did not order a dessert so I don't know if they are still suggesting the affogato when asked about a sharable dessert. I was hoping that this visit would show me that my previous experience was a fluke. Everyone seems to like the place. I am just not finding any flavor here. Super boring.

The natural lightning and river views help to create a nice and relaxing space, while still casual enough that you don't feel bad bringing kids in. They source pastries from Lola's, and from the main food menu, I typically gravitate towards their hummus plate & grilled chicken. My only small complaint is that the sandwich breads we've tried are a little plain / underwhelming, but I just stick to the salads. Plenty of parking as well, so an all-around gem!

In the earlier days, it seemed like some of the menu items were too salty or whatever. But once they got established I have been happy with the experience every time. This is a restaurant attached to a science museum (but it can be entered separately). I go to a lot of museums and this food is miles better than most food you can get at most museums. I like that they offer items from local businesses such as Lola (for baked goods), Grove (juices) and Fermented Felon kombucha. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Windows are huge with a great view of the river. They serve a good iced tea, which can be not so good at other places. Also a nice hot drink selection. I like to go for a walk across the river, then come here and relax with a brownie or a slice of sweet potato cake. There is an entry fee to the museum if you want to go...or you can just meander over to the gift shop for free. It's a really good gift shop, if you are a nerd like me.
