If you're looking for a bold take on coffee, this is the spot! When I was in San Francisco we have cafecito, and I have been looking for this in Omaha. I also lived above a mercado in The Mission, and these are as close as I've come to those pastries. Everyone is super helpful navigating the menu, and it's affordably priced with plenty of space to enjoy.

We ate at Isla Del Mar Restaurante in the past and just wanted to peek at the new place where Con Azur Cafe is enclosed. Strip mall parking. He grabbed a beer at the convenient bar located outside the dining room while I headed to Con Azucar with the intent of trying the Abuelita hot chocolate on a chilly day. I was offered a sample of a Mexican coffee with cinnamon and brown sugar. It was delicious. Not a big coffee drinker but would return for it. The hot chocolate was topped with whipped cream and had a dark chocolate flavor. Maybe a lil sweet so might avoid the cream next time. That's unheard of to some. Service was outstanding. Oh, bought a slice of tres leches cake but haven't tasted it yet. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

This cafe was a great concept - beautiful space, great vibes. They some typical Mexican baked goods like concha and some riffs of classics like concha muffins. I love their flavored lattes: horchata, Mexican cocoa, marzipan, etc. The lattes were okay - the espresso wasn't very strong. What was absolutely delicious was their ham and cheese sandwich - bursting with flavor and a portion bug enough for 2 people to share.

Came here late at night, which I was surprised they were still open that late and got the champorado latte, roasted marshmallow latte, the chilaquiles (ours wasn't as spicy as we expected), concha cupcake, and a Fresca (strawberry) tres leches. The food was good, but this place was packed, we had a table, but no chairs. If you go, maybe be ready to take it to go, which is a shame because this place is so insta-worthy with all their colors, a floral ceiling, a swing, and your pastry in a mini bicycle basket when you eat in.

Nice location, cute decoration. CONCHITA MINI $1.00 Great flavor, cute , little design, colorful and appetizing. It is not a fluffy texture is more dense which is great the flavor is vanilaish.Great concha PAN DE ELOTE $3.00 no elote flavors what so ever, bread was very dry. MEDIUM 16OZ ICED DULCE DE LECHE $6.50 full of flavor very creamy, great coffe, not overly sweet. Would order again. MEDIUM 12OZ HOT MAZAPAN LATTE $6.50 No MAZAPAN FLAVOR. Again great coffee, very smooth and creamy. The froth is great. The sweetness is a little like cane sugar. Not bad but definitely not Mazapan. Over this place is a 6.5 out 10 Service was nice. I really like the touch of serving your bread in the little bike with the basket very original. In my own personal opinion a coffee shop should serve you in mugs and glassware if you are going to enjoy the drink in the location. So for me the to go cups are a minus. The atmosphere is a bit loud as the palateria had loud music and blinking lights. And you also get the music from the restaurant. So if you are looking for a cute quiet place this is not it.

Great coffee, service, and atmosphere. Only complaint is that there's not more of these locations.

Love the downtown location!! Love the café de olla and the chocolate abuelita!! I haven't tried some of their bites yet except for a pastry but will definitely try some more things soon! Nice ambiance with all of the decorations and balloons and colors! Service was nice too as they were friendly and kind. Will be back!

It's super cute inside, with so many bright colors, neat Día de los Muertos murals along the walls, colorful pendants strung on top of the dining area, and a very cool bar with a patterned, arched shelves. Even the dishes and cups are fabulous, with earthenware mugs, blue Talavera style dishes and bowls, and even branded El Milagro margarita glasses. Now more importantly, the FOOD is just as good as the decor and the dishware. They use extra high quality ingredients, and everything is always served hot and fresh. We have had the birria, nachos, street tacos, flautas, and so many other things when we branch out and try something new. Their drink options are also great, with strong margaritas, crisp cervesas, and tasty cocktails. The service is always fantastic, and they are always hopping with customers, so you know you found a good spot. Best of all, you get pretty large portions, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg like some of the newer Mexican restaurants in town. Next time you're thinking about heading to the Texas Roadhouse area, skip the Roadhouse and try El Milagro instead! I guarantee you will not regret your decision.

When we walked in it seemed like our server was the only one there working - drinks took a while to arrive and didn't come as pictured on the passport but were still good. I got the Barria taco meal and never received my rice that went along with it, ended up being fine I was full but could have taken for leftovers. Plenty of tables and cute decor. Overall, the food was the star of the show and our waiter got the job done with our large party it was just slower service than I was hoping for an early off peak meal. Worth it to come in expecting slow service to get a good meal imo!

Not only is the food incredible, but the staff are the absolute best and the ambiance is very welcoming and comfortable. We started with some chips and dips, and the queso was delicious. It was the perfect amount of spice but still creamy and cheesy. The salsas were also very flavorful and a great start to our meal. I chose to get the carne asada for dinner and it was absolutely AMAZING. The steak was so juicy and tender, and seasoned to perfection. I was so impressed, and it was perfectly paired with some tortillas de maiz, the guacamole, and rice and beans. I would absolutely get this meal again. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff were incredibly sweet, helpful, and provided great recommendations. I will absolutely be returning here again!

The service was fantastic, and it felt like a true family restaurant. The chips were so good, and the salsa was spicy but not too much for people with sensitive palates. I love this style of chips, not a thin restaurant style but a thicker, more savory bite. We went through one portion before our food got to us and they brought more out when I asked. I highly recommend the tacos. I made a mistake and asked for birria not quesabirria tacos, so make sure to specify that if you want quesabirria (with cheese). But, the birria was good anyways! I also got the taco macho (see the pic for what's inside), and wish I would've ordered 2 of those! My husband got the huitlacoche and squash blossom tacos and they were both so good. I was so impressed they had huitlacoche as an option, I've never seen that before! The drinks were ordered and delivered from the server, but she said since they're working on a liquor license they have a bar next door that makes them. If you order a drink with your food, they charge for the drinks and food separate for that reason. I liked my jalapeño margarita! My husband got a cantarito and said it's the best one he's had from all the places we've tried to far!

The streetcar boondoggle is not affecting their block so parking is available. Decor is calming. I did not opt for an adult beverage as they were a bit pricey and I needed to retain focus. Settled on chicken enchiladas. Very tasty with some kick. The cheese was drizzled on top rather than baked through. Service was exceptionally friendly, I suspect from the bartender/proprietor. Would definitely return if in the area, but for now I am generally avoiding streetcar construction chaos. If you are downtown anyway, go.
