Went here for taco Tuesday and it happened to be Cinco De Mayo! Was super packed inside considering it being a holiday and Taco Tuesday. Luckily I was able to get seated and a waiter took my order shortly after. I ordered a birria quesataco, 3 tacos, and a horchata. Overall, everything was super delicious! Taqueria Tijuana is one of our go-to spots! We eat here at least once a month, if not more. As a born and raised Mexican, I'm pretty picky about tacos, and these are the ones that remind me the most of home out of all the places I've tried around town. The flavors and meats are always great. The staff is always kind and the service is super quick. I also love that their "con todo" actually includes guac, not just onion and cilantro. Amazing tacos, this is the second location and the first has been open in South O over 24 years. I've been to the South O location, but Valentine's was my first time at this one. They had a special V-Day taco box that looked amazing, so we had to try it. The ordering process was smooth and easy, I got through right away. They offered any kind of taco, so we got the cachete (cheek), lengua (tongue, which is only on weekends), al pastor, and carnitas. The box also came with real roses, limes, jalapeño, salsa, and radishes, heart shaped plates and a card in a cute valentines bag, and the box was filled with Mexican candies. It was the best valentines meal, and bonus we got to eat it at home in comfort! The restaurant was super cute decked out in valentines decor, so it would've been a fun place to stay and eat. Everything tasted fresh, was cooked perfectly, and I loved the smaller tortilla size. I can't wait to go back to try the birria tacos, they look so good, too! read more

Number one pick for tacos in Omaha.. Not only because the food is great but the service is always friendly and fast. They're very consistent and have never messed up my order. Nearly every time I run an errand at a nearby store I stop to satisfy my street taco cravings I appreciate their generosity with extras like salsa and limes - this place is so affordable and they don't nickel and dime you. Now this new spot well newish spot out west is open and closer to home. Today was only my second time here as I tend to stick to the original locations. But the tacos today were delicious as ever. They do not have margaritas or any alcohol. They do have a pretty versatile menu offering beef tongue, cheek and stomach, which is different. A small boat of radish, lime and peppers is offered. Best tacos I've had in Omaha since we moved here almost 3 years ago. If you are looking for authentic Mexican Tacos, this is the place. I got the adobada, asada, and pollo. They were all good but the chicken was my fav. It was flavorful and not dry. I always get the Tijuana tacos that come with onions, cilantro, and guac. If you like on a Tuesday they are only $2 each. I am SO happy they've opened a location closer to us. This was our first chance to visit and we're glad we did. The food was very fresh, the employees were top notch kind, the prices are still great despite inflation, and the place was super clean. The place itself is small compared to the other location but it wasn't an issue. The colors are bright and again clean. The bathrooms were also clean too. One thing to note is they're no longer doing happy hour on weds thurs and Friday but they ARE doing taco Tuesdays. $2 tacos on Tuesdays. We got 18 tacos, 3 gorditas, 1 sope, and extra guacamole for $67.79. That included a 20% tip. My family decided to try this restaurant after a Target run and I was glad we did! Upon entering, we noticed it was very busy, which is always a good sign to me! We were seated fairly promptly and staff got us a highchair for our toddler right away. I opted to try a chorizo and steak street taco accompanied with a side of rice. Everything had good flavor and was served quickly. The real star of the show was our dessert! We got the churros with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. So glad TT opened a new location further out west. It's located in the K plaza on 120th. The tacos are just as good as the original location. Beef cheek tacos (tacos de cachete) are my personal favorite here. The beef is so tender and gloriously fatty. Limes and tomatillo salsa on top, and non mealy corn tortillas are the perfect vessel. Hits all the flavor points and just tastes phenomenal. Also really like the chips here. Thin and crispy, not greasy, and they have a nice corn flavor. Too many tortilla chips are just bland. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out in just a few minutes. One thing they might want to invest in are some window shades. This restaurant has delicious and flavorful authentic Mexican food. I had the gordita and a taco with beef stew meat. My wife had the nachos; the cheese sauce is authentic - not like melted cheese product. Note the sauces are spicy but that is what makes them stand out. The food comes out hot and fresh and there was little waiting. With tax, tip and a drink p, the total was about $30 - well worth it. The atmosphere is somewhat stark but comfortable. Where disappointed to find out after ordering the tacos are very very small , they fit in the palm of your hand and don't have that much meat in them. At a price of 3.20 or so a taco they were definitely not worth the price . They have advertising for taco Tuesday's so maybe then it be worth it but for a regular day it was not worth it . I am a regular size guy and I ate my tacos in two bites . Normally I get 2-3 tacos and I'm full so I went with my usual order alpastor ( marinated steak) . Was debating getting more tacos but for the price and size I am definitely not gonna come back .
