The food was perfection paired with the ambiance of the patio. Truly unmatched place to get some authentic, fresh food and enjoy a great night out!!

Ordered the carne asada à la parrilla and it was very delicious. Portion size was decent coming from a guy that eats a whole lot. Prices on the foods fair as well. Also had the opportunity to try out the horchata matcha drink and it was great! The restaurant had two floors with the 2nd floor being space for overflow. The decoration and atmosphere of the place was cozy and casual. Our food took a while for them to prepare and bring it to us, but I'm willing to overlook that since the food was great. Overall, an excellent place to hang out of friends or eat with the family.

SUCH a good spot for Mexican food! The inside is adorable and there's plenty of seating. Staff are super friendly :) The Quesa Birria Tacos were 10/10. I highly suggest trying them. Honestly a lot looked good... I will be back for breakfast soon! The breakfast menu looked amazing!

There was a clash between food quality and experience at this weekend's lunch, as an unmotivated, unfocused pair of staff members diluted a terrific dining experience. Located at the edge of the Old Market, it's aided by an adjacent paid parking lot and has a nice interior. Specializing in Mexican food, they have a large menu, and the recommendation we received to eat there was spot on. Our server was terrific, kind, and professional. But we witnessed a pair of staff members effectively check out and spend about 20 minutes casually eating their lunch and assembling silverware while the restaurant was crowded. Their lack of contribution bogged down the experience, slowing everything to an inexcusable halt. We did not receive our chips and salsa, and it took a while to get our drink and have our order taken due to the overall energy level. Our entrees were outstanding - that was the only reason I gave this place three stars. I hope their staff takes more pride in their roles, and treats their customers with the level of service and energy deserving of people who visit.

    banana bread latte - 10/10!!

what an incredible spot!! Not only is it absolutely beautiful but everything they have seems to only get raving reviews! I really hope more and more people find out about this gorgeous little spot and keep it busy! They have a stunning patio with greenery and stringed lights that make it feel like you're hidden in a new york nook. Everyone is so friendly and they really take their time to make your food/drink so that it is just right. My sister got the banana bread latte and it was DELICIOUS! The coffee was pulled perfectly and went down like butter along with the brilliant way they mixed the flavors to absolutely nail the "banana bread" taste. We will most definitely be back!

We really loved coming out here for National Margarita day! We started with a half corn half flour basket of chips and salsa. I loved the flour and my wife loved the corn. The salsa was very flavorful and I wish we had more but the chips were also very filling! I had a giant taco, and I didn't expect it to be so large but it was AMAZING!!! I was able to take half home and I'm usually someone that's able to finish the whole meal. I did have to drop the stars to only four because the service was verrrrry slow for only having a handful of people here. We definitely will be coming back again, because it was delicious!

Finally tried out this new place for brunch! Got seated right away and service was great. Tried the banana bread latte which was quite good! It has fresh banana chunks in it and lots of cinnamon- yum! It was a tad too sweet for me but otherwise solid. Also tried the breakfast burrito and skillet which were both very flavorful. Is conveniently located downtown so would definitely come back, especially on a nice day!

Flora Cafe serves delicious authentic Mexican and a cute girly ambience that is perfect for a beautiful brunch vibe! The interior is gorgeous, and every detail adds to the experience, down to the tazas de barro and lush greenery. The restaurant has lots of natural lighting from all angles, and plentiful seating. Every time I am here, there is a wait time, so I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation, especially on weekends. It can be a little uncomfortable waiting as they have no central seating for guests, and you can't necessarily walk outside in the meantime since there isn't a text "waitlist" that I know of. The wait however, is worth it. The food is delicious and servings are large! I love their coffee menu, and their Horchata latte was delicious! I got it iced, and it was the absolute best. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes and the serving was huge, enough that I was able to eat the rest for dinner. The menu is plentiful and full of variety, whether you're leaning towards more of a breakfast or a lunch vibe. I have never been disappointed with the food here, and it always is orchestrated immaculately, providing an experience for all the senses.

This place is SO lovely!! I highly HIGHLYYYY recommend supporting them during this insane instruction that's happening downtown! The food was SO GREAT!!!!!!!! AMAZING! I got the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso (iced) and the PAN A LAFRANCESA. The blueberry compote was such a great flavor to mix with the cinnamon and ice cream! The service was great, she was very attentive and sweet! Our food was out quick and I am excited to go back!

This a good place to go if you are looking for some good Mexican breakfast! The service was ok since the waiter took long to get our order but after it was place the food came out fast. It's a chill place with a very chill atmosphere. I got the chilaquiles which were full of flavor with a coffee. My wife got a breakfast sandwich and she said it taste really good. Overall I would recommend and planning on going back.

Located right next to the Gene Leahy mall this is a popping spot and even have some outdoor seating options. They are still open with all of the construction and not hard to get to! (parking is going to take some patience). First time checking this spot out and the vibes are CUTEEE! I'm excited to try out breakfast here. I couldn't find a menu online but it looked like pumpkin pancakes (at a Mexican joint?! I'm in!). They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and have a cafe for all your coffee needs. Most of the entrees are probably 1-2 servings so come hungry or be ready for leftovers. Vegetarians, they have a few options without meat or you can ask for a lot of items without meat. I got the giant burrito minus the meat and it was HUGE! The star of the show was the chips and salsa. You can get corn, flour, or a mix of both. I'm a big fan of their flour tortillas. The salsa was flavorful and the overall it was a great value!

Such a great meal here on a Friday night! Worth making the trek from anywhere in town, and anticipate coming back ASAP because the menu was extensive, the service was friendly and I can't wait to hang out on the patio this spring!

Cheese enchiladas far - pork tamale, chicken soft taco and barria street taco in for ground.

Cute newish place that we finally got around to trying. Seated quickly but had to wait about 5 minutes for a server even though it was early dinner. Food was fresh and authentic, although the vegetarian food was a bit on the bland side. Portions were generous. Unsure if I'd do again. Not bad but not fantastic.

It's super cute inside, with so many bright colors, neat Día de los Muertos murals along the walls, colorful pendants strung on top of the dining area, and a very cool bar with a patterned, arched shelves. Even the dishes and cups are fabulous, with earthenware mugs, blue Talavera style dishes and bowls, and even branded El Milagro margarita glasses. Now more importantly, the FOOD is just as good as the decor and the dishware. They use extra high quality ingredients, and everything is always served hot and fresh. We have had the birria, nachos, street tacos, flautas, and so many other things when we branch out and try something new. Their drink options are also great, with strong margaritas, crisp cervesas, and tasty cocktails. The service is always fantastic, and they are always hopping with customers, so you know you found a good spot. Best of all, you get pretty large portions, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg like some of the newer Mexican restaurants in town. Next time you're thinking about heading to the Texas Roadhouse area, skip the Roadhouse and try El Milagro instead! I guarantee you will not regret your decision.

When we walked in it seemed like our server was the only one there working - drinks took a while to arrive and didn't come as pictured on the passport but were still good. I got the Barria taco meal and never received my rice that went along with it, ended up being fine I was full but could have taken for leftovers. Plenty of tables and cute decor. Overall, the food was the star of the show and our waiter got the job done with our large party it was just slower service than I was hoping for an early off peak meal. Worth it to come in expecting slow service to get a good meal imo!

The service was fantastic, and it felt like a true family restaurant. The chips were so good, and the salsa was spicy but not too much for people with sensitive palates. I love this style of chips, not a thin restaurant style but a thicker, more savory bite. We went through one portion before our food got to us and they brought more out when I asked. I highly recommend the tacos. I made a mistake and asked for birria not quesabirria tacos, so make sure to specify that if you want quesabirria (with cheese). But, the birria was good anyways! I also got the taco macho (see the pic for what's inside), and wish I would've ordered 2 of those! My husband got the huitlacoche and squash blossom tacos and they were both so good. I was so impressed they had huitlacoche as an option, I've never seen that before! The drinks were ordered and delivered from the server, but she said since they're working on a liquor license they have a bar next door that makes them. If you order a drink with your food, they charge for the drinks and food separate for that reason. I liked my jalapeño margarita!
