Brazo de Reina

The small, nicely decorated room has original art on the walls that's for sale. Music is various covers in new age style, but understated. There are some soft furnishings for enjoying coffee and pastries plus seven small sets of tables and chairs. The counter person was friendly and answered questions about the simple menu. An interesting selection of pastries are displayed and a posted coffee menu with lattes etc. We ordered three empanadas and a dessert. Drinks are canned soda and sparking water, but there's also a free still water dispenser. I had the beef empanada and Bookguy ordered one shrimp and one with chicken and mushrooms. They are only $5 each, so not huge, but enough. One plus 1/2 of the brazo de reina slice filled me up. Bookguy was happy having two, but he didn't care for the one with shrimp because it was crunchy--not what he expected. I liked the beef empanada except for the olive. We shared the brazo de reina which proved to be delicious. The room was a bit chilly, pardon the pun, since the food is Chilean. I plan to come back for coffee and another pastry...or two.

Went there for the first time today and sad we haven't gone there sooner!! The ambiance was wonderful, the service was great but the Churassco Italiano and Lemon Dessert! were stellar!! Will absolutely be going back!

Drove by days ago and eyed the sidewalk sign. Decided to return one day. That day came and I grabbed a takeout order: the 3 empanadas + soda, $14. Added the special shrimp empanada, $7. All four empanadas were delicious. The shrimp was my favorite followed by the breakfast one with scrambled eggs, chicken and then beef. Would have loved a side option (e.g. beans). I also wanted more pebre salsa. Menu includes sandwiches, but may be hard to skip the empanadas once you've tasted them. Also has coffees and desserts. It has that coffee shop relaxation vibe. Very nice, clean interior. Service was very friendly. Highly recommended.

This small, cozy place has great Empanadas ( Chilean style). Coffee is amazing,, my favor is Hot Mocha. Besides the delicious empanadas, this place is great for relaxing with a cozy of coffee and read a book. Staff is amazing and they also have frozen empanadas. Deliciosas empanadas y magnifico cafe. Buen ambiente para relajarce con una taza de cafe....

Breakfast empanada and beef empanada along with Cappuccino.

I was excited to come back here, as it had been several years since my last visit. Specifically, I…read morewas thrilled to order their iconic truffle fries paired with their amazing sauce. I was sadly disappointed by both the sauce and the fries, as the sauce had changed and lost its delicious aioli flavor. The fries were extremely underwhelming. I ordered the French dip sandwich, which was alright but probably not something I would order again. I got a side of the tomato soup, and it was so salty I couldn't even eat it. Our server was alright, but not the most attentive. However, I could tell she had multiple tables, so I didn't mind. Very disappointing for nearly $30 spent.

It was dirty, which we pointed out to the server. She came back with our drinks, forgetting about the dirty table. So she came back again and did what I thought was a thorough scrubbing of the table. Bookguy still found sticky spots on his side, so we washed it off ourselves. Bookguy ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and a side salad. I ordered grown up mac and cheese. These are items we have enjoyed in the past, so we figured on a win. The burger, fries, and mac and cheese seemed very salty to us. I brought the leftover mac home, figuring on dividing it into to smaller portions for two meals. Bookguy didn't finish his burger or fries due to salt. His salad was pretty standard. I think I will be awhile before we come here again.

It's a small cute coffee shop by the house but just lacks any sense of friendliness or even good customer service. I typically wouldn't review but I never got helped at the counter today after waiting for quite awhile. 5 people back there actively couldn't help me order a drink after waiting a good while. The food while decent Is rather overpriced and their coffee is truly mid at best. There are just too many coffee shops in Omaha that have gotten it right for this one to be so bad.

My coffees are always consistently delicious, and I love how festive Coffee Society is, even making new seasonal menus. I got their Valentine's menu iced coffee, which I believe was cookie dough chocolate chip flavored and phenomenal. Their food is very pricey, even for a coffee shop, and I didn't love the breakfast tacos. They were overwhelmingly just avocado and chewy sausage pieces, so next time I would probably try something else as this one was not worth the price. My boyfriend enjoyed his breakfast sandwich, so I would probably try something from their large variety of sandwiches. However, the coffee made this visit worth it. The ambiance is very bright, airy, and open! Coffee Society is very cute and aesthetically pleasing, and their holiday decor was very fun! It was packed this visit, but luckily they have tons of seating!

Branded as "Farm to cone", they have an exciting flavor variety to intrigue the adults in the room, of which there were quite a few. I sampled a more classic mint chocolate chip and a more experimental basil flavor with white chocolate chips, both kind of thematically similar. Both flavors hit hard, and the house waffle cone was thinner than I expected but pleasingly browned and it held up well. While the focus on dairy is expected, they do offer several sorbets for those whose dietary needs require it. Business was vigorous even on a midweek night, and I would note that for an ice cream place in an area where the sun does not set in summer until almost 9, they close on the early side, so hurry on over.

I got the blackstone butterbrickle and peanut butter chocolate shortbread in the cup. It was good, but the two flavors kind of melded together so I couldn't really taste the two flavors. It was nice and smooth and wasn't too sweet, either. It's a good treat and really refreshing on a hot day and actually it was packed when we went on a rainy day.
