Great full service breakfast spot! Fluffy and crispy, light and perfectly sweetened blueberry pancakes with a zesty lemon curd to tie it all together. This was something to come for without a doubt. The dawn phenomenon was flavor packed and sauced to the T for a breakfast sandwich. Fresh tomato, lots of ham, bacon, and just the perfect amount of butter. This is a fairly small spot in Ralston with free parking in the front and surrounding area. It's a cute country style breakfast joint with a "Peace, Love, Pancakes" slogan that had me smiling and wanting to come back to try the jalapeño popper French toast! read more

ALWAYS... hit up Lemontree prior to any, arts and craft festival.. you'll definitely need the energy! We ordered simple today! The classic bacon, eggs, and a gluten free biscuit which I hear was DELISH! Eggs over medium done to perfection, great tasting bacon. Maybe you knew, but I learned that their gravy is also gluten free and done by Gravy Train - Scratch Biscuits and Gravy! Their Griddled French Toast is also kept pretty simple, with a small dusting of powdered sugar, some strawberries and whip. Went well with their traditional syrup! Parking is a blast but I promise their food makes up for the limited spacing. Their cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats right when you walk in, looked AMAZING. Definitely going to have to grab a few to-go next time. read more

I've been wanting to try Lemon Tree Cafe for a while now and i'm so glad I finally made it over here! I got the blueberry lemon curd pancakes because of how many people i've heard rave about them, and they did not disappoint! It was delicious, super fluffy and the perfect mix of sweet and tart! My friend had gotten "The Usual" and got chicken strips with it. She said the eggs were super fluffy and cooked perfectly! Service was great too! We will definitely be back! read more

Kids had the pancakes which were the size of tires and I had the jalapeño popper french toast which was really good!

Love this little spot! Always enjoyed gravy train biscuits and gravy so I'm grateful they have their own spot. I got the ultimate biscuits and gravy. Sausage bacon eggs and country potatoes. I am FULL! My partner got the dawn phenomenon and it was super tasty. My mom and niece got avocado toast. They wished the bread was a little more toasted. My niece wasn't fond of the basil vinaigrette, and there were a few details of their meal that was over looked (orange juice when she ordered Apple, asked for no vinaigrette, hash browns and sausage gravy missing from a to go order.) The restaurant itself is cozy so there was a wait but I love this spot so it is very worth it in my opinion. read more

My friend and I had never been here, and I wanted to treat her for breakfast. I wasn't aware that they served lunch as well, and their chicken salad was very tempting. I ended up going with the strawberry, banana stuffed French toast, and I think this was the best French toast I've ever had. I'm not even a French toast fan, but this was delicious! They loved the a cookie crumble topping, but for me the best part about it was the strawberry cream cheese stuffing. I can't wait to go back for breakfast, but I'm tempted to try the lunch menu as well. She went with the blueberry, lemon curd pancakes that were huge! We could've easily split that order, and the small bite I had was delicious as well. I have a feeling everything on their menu is phenomenal. read more

Fantastic cafe! Our server, Joni, was so warm and friendly and helpful. We encountered a little snafu when it turned out the blueberry-lemon curd pancakes I thought I had ordered arrived as the blueberry stuffed French toast, but they helpfully suggested to add lemon curd to the toast, which I happily accepted. Problem deliciously solved! The tangy cream cheese-stuffed French toast was phenomenal, and the lemon curd was a perfect complement to the flavor. Chicken fried steak is A-plus. Greater gravy and biscuits. The biscuits are drop-style, and a good size (about the size of a baseball). Good with the gravy, or just on their own with butter. The atmosphere is like a fresh and clean home kitchen breakfast nook. I love the bright yellow lemon decor punctuating the space. But the people make the restaurant--this is your home kitchen away from home. Many thanks and many blessings to y'all! read more

Disappointed they don't have the rueban sandwich everyday. Had the rueban hash instead and it was great.

This is gormet goodness without pretense. No odd ingredients to make them sound special. Just perfectly executed, tasty food. This was a fantastic find!!! They have around 13 tables inside with 2 outside. The interior has a quaint antique feel with a tin ceiling. Everyone there is kind and attentive, from the hostess to the servers and manager/owner. The food.... We ordered their French toast, ham/cheese/bacon hash, and biscuits & gravy. As a Southerner, it's hard to impress me with biscuits and gravy, as I grew up around the best. This was a unique take on sausage gravy. The gravy was very creamy like a hollandaise. I was skeptical when I saw it, but wow. It was so savory. The biscuit was good, but the gravy really was the star. The hash looked dry, but it wasn't. Topped with an egg over medium, the popped yolk really made the entire thing a perfect consistency. The hash had crispy bacon and ham with a small amount of cheddar. The spices they used really made the dish sing. The French toast was from thick sourdough and was cooked perfectly. What - a - treat! Do not expect this perfection to be a quick experience. Their kitchen is small and with a full house, food will take a bit longer than other places. But, it is worth it If you use Waze, the directions take you to the back alley. Instead, Google maps takes you to the right spot. It is not in the best part of town, being across from a THC dispensary, but there is plenty of parking. This was a real treat! And, the prices were not exorbitant. read more

Went in for brunch/lunch on Friday before the 4th of July. Husband loved the jalapeño french toast. I was impressed with the cheesesteak- large portion and generous amount of beef. Walked up for lunch while I was waiting for my windshield to be replaced. Cute diner with attentive and cheery staff. Their menu includes the breakfast that goes all the way through lunch, YES! The iced tea deserves mention because it was fresh with lots of ice in a huge glass I love my breakfast - eggs over potatoes, ham and bacon with lots of cheddar YUM. The biscuit was also yummy. I asked, and if you don't want to wait on weekends, they suggest arriving by 8:30am or after 12:30pm - I can understand why they'd be busy! I tried to politely glance at what others were eating and everyone else's food looked equally delicious. read more

Definitely one of the best breakfast/brunch places in Omaha, the service is so friendly and the menu is so creative it's hard not to love this place. The restaurant has the feel of a small town cafe, with a breakfast bar at the front with a few seats and assorted different sizes tables in the dining room, the place is on the smaller side, but very cozy. The menu is a great mix of classics and very creative items. Some of the more unique things were the blueberry lemon curd pancakes and the balsamic mushroom hash, which my wife had and really enjoyed. I had the biscuits and gravy and added a fried egg and sausage patty. These biscuits are so good, very buttery and flaky, and the gravy was seasoned perfectly. We also split a cinnamon roll which was super tasty and very traditional like Grandma would make. Everyone who was working on the Saturday we visited was extremely nice. Definitely worth the trip!!! read more

My boyfriend was all for everything. They messed up our order slightly (I asked for no egg, he's supposed to get egg) so I gave him mine. But the server did fix it and apologized while giving up complimentary coffee cake. The location was great, we didn't have any wait around 11:30 on a Saturday, and there's plenty of parking. We were able to walk right in and I think there's about 12 tables total. The team was very nice and helpful. The short stack was amazing, better than ihop by far! He loved the steak special. The coffee was delicious, it was smooth not bitter at all. I'm pretty sure he had 3 cups. The avocado toast was ok, there was a lot of the lemon olive oil that it was very watery and I would have thought the avocado didn't have any brown on it. My bread wasn't toasted so it was really soft, not my favorite. Overall, a fun small town brunch place to go for a cozy meal! read more

I brought a group of 5 here and was surprised at how busy they were for such a small place. It took a while to get in, but was well worth the wait! My biggest takeaway was the affordable prices on such large and quality dishes. I can see why they are so busy!! Great service, and many apologies for the wait time that was not a big deal. I loved the meal and everything I tried. I was pleasantly surprised by the *right* amount of frosting on the cinnamon roll so we did not have to ask for more! :) Great experience and I'll definitely be back for more! read more

Just a heads up if you are of color be prepared to be asked to paid before being sat down :). Proceed by being gaslit to think this is policy. (Which wouldn't be an issue) yet for 30 minutes while we waited to be seated we watched everyone pay as they left. As well as seeing the couple in front of us being sat without being asked to pay beforehand. Next time I'd prefer a more creative lie than "this is policy" lol. read more

After driving by for a year I finally made it to the Lemon Tree Cafe! We went with a larger group knowing we would possibly have to split up and wait, but we were willing. The stars aligned and we were all able to sit together and only a 20 minute wait! They were so nice and accommodating to our group of 10. The service was excellent and the food was even better. We have a supper club that finally reunited after a year for brunch and every single person loved what they ordered, which is rare. The cafe is so cute and cozy. I can't wait to come back and order one of their several stuffed French toast options. Prices are very good for the amount of food that you get. Also- get a cinnamon roll! read more

Absolutley lovely. Love the vibe, the easy going atmosphere. It's like coming home. Good fresh coffee, delicious gravy. I mean delish. Coming from this farm girl, gravy is serious business. You can tell the love runs deep in their place. The only downside of the entire experience was how the entire floor oscillated when every single person walked by. I realize it's an old building, and no fault of the owners, but I was a distraction. Food, service and cleanliness was top notch. We will def return. read more

Yelpers were not wrong, this place is worth a stop. We were warmly greeted and I was surprised to see an almost empty dining room. Our server said that we just missed the morning rush. Good for us, I thought. We were informed of the daily special, but I opted for the Monte Cristo and a single Blueberry pancake with lemon drizzle. Getting our food did not take long at all. The sandwich was warm and super tasty despite the ham being super watery. The pancake was ABSOLUTELY amazing, no syrup needed. The lemon drizzle is perfect. The price seemed fair for the amount of food. The service was Great and the food delicious. Browsing the menu makes me want to come back to try more dishes. Sad for Farmhouse Cafe. They were closed for remodeling so we came here. What a nice little gem! We had about a 5 minute wait to be seated. It's an old building on Main Street that is decorated with a lot of charm. The food took longer than expected, however, they were full and it was a Sunday morning around 9 am. It was so worth it. I've been wanting to try this place and it is a very nice old-fashioned cafe with interesting dishes and generous portions. I had their premiere breakfast sandwich. When I wanted to add bacon, Angel the waitress informed me that it already included bacon. There is a variety of baked goods which is unusual these days. The only disappointment was the coffee. People really love tasty and flavorful coffee these days and the coffee here was not good at all. It doesn't take much to upgrade the coffee and people will pay up. The back of the house staff ventured into the front of the house and I noted some good looking women! read more

How fun and cute was this little cafe! You feel like you just droves hours to stop at a little mom and pop shop that has been there for 50 years! It was just a warm feeling when you walk in. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the kind of staff you would expect at a small town cafe! Omg the food, the biscuits and gravy were incredible, the biscuits were home made and full of flavor. The gravy had actual chucks of sausage. The peanut butter and jelly was the next level. It had actual peanuts and the jelly was some kind of orange and a hint of cinnamon. The fruit was fresh. Definitely a great experience and I can not wait to go back and try the lunch menu. read more

Lemon Tree in Ralston lived up to the great reviews. The cinnamon roll was sooo good. I had the Beli Deli (Toasted sourdough, turkey, house cranberry spread, jalapeño cream cheese, greens) and it was delicious. The others in my group had the Swiss mushroom burger. Also very good. Very delicious. Nice little place with amazing foods to choose from! Would recommend to friends and family

Had to go grocery shopping so I figured I better eat first, or I'd come home with a bunch of crap I don't even want. So I wanted to go to a place I'd not been before and since I was near Ralston, lemon tree popped up. It is quaint and brightly lit, which I prefer for a breakfast or lunch restaurant, I want to see what I am eating. I really liked the decor, it has a very homey diner feel. The service was fast and the servers were very friendly. I marked the restaurant as very loud, but in its defense there was a table of about 10 women talking and laughing very very loudly. I ordered the biscuit and sausage gravy with fried chicken and eggs. As sausage gravy goes, it's 3rd in my top 5, which is a good place to be, meaning I would recommend ordering it. The chicken was chicken fingers, they were flavorful and crunchy. Eggs are eggs, no point to in commenting on them unless you F them up. The biscuit was ok, it was a bit dry, but with the gravy that was fine, but if I had a biscuit sandwich I would have needed something wet to wash it down. They kept my coffee cup full and the coffee is good. One thing I must point out, they had Cholula hot sauce. So many of these quaint diners only have tobasco, so kudos to Lemon Tree. The portion was more than fulfilling, it was just enough food that i could almost finish it. I am personally turned off by a plate of food that looks like it was intended for 3 people. I don't care if I can take home leftovers, I want a normal looking plate of food. I would definitely come here again and bring the girl crew, it has a girl crew vibe. read more

We went here for breakfast based on the photos alone. It's a quaint little place, and very Portland-esc. It reminded us of a lot of the places you would find in Portland . The menu is very limited and the food wasn't really anything you can't find at any of the hundreds of other breakfast establishments around Omaha. We both had there skillets and although good, just nothing much to rave about. The place seemed busy enough, so people must like it more than we did, or it may be because of its side street location, and not much else around. We also noticed a ton of staff, one person sat us, another got us drinks , yet another took our order and another brought us our food. I'm not sure why so many people, for such a small place. I guess it works for them. The tables are a very close together and it's hard not to bump into the other patrons. All in all it's a decent place. I am sure if I lived in the neighborhood I would go again, but I don't think I would make my way back unless I did . read more

My sis and I tried the Lemon Tree and it was FANSTASTIC! My sis had the Biscuits and Gravy and is was seasoned really well and had a delicious gravy. I had the Balsamic Mushroom Hash and it was perfection. The potatoes were perfectly crispy, a little more than other places and I loved the crunchiness it added. The mushrooms were brilliantly paired with the red peppers, cheese and perfectly cooked medium egg. It was served with a biscuit and she offered "hot honey" which has a bit of a hot pepper jelly vibe - so good, definitely don't pass it up. Service was top notch and food was out quick.
