Best Avocado Toast ever, also available on a GF biscuit. In growing season the basil a tomatoes are fresh picked.

One of my favorite breakfast places now. The service was great but I wish they had more space and the tables were bigger to keep things out of reach from my 2 year olds. With that said, the food was amazing and the kids lived the pancakes! I had the BLT and it was spot on for what I was looking for! Love it! Do it! read more

One of the best brunches I've ever had! Great atmosphere, friendly service, Love the biscuits, and fresh ingredients- Just down 72nd street and right on Main (from Omaha) Don't delay stopping by for your brunch or lunch fix! read more

Absolutely delicious. So happy these chef owners decided to set up shop and share their food with Omaha!

First time trying this little cafe while visiting Omaha and it was fairly tasty. I ordered the dawn phenomenon sandwich and oh my goodness was it good. All the ingredients were high quality and prepared to expectation. Let me tell you, you're a Burger King breakfast sanwhich, snd this is the sandwhich she tells you not to worry about. It was a cute little cafe with a lemon theme (hence the name). The servers were friendly and checked in every so often despite being really busy. Why does it get a 4? We came in before somebody who knew the staff and got served after them. I personally think that's quite scummy to do at any place. You serve first who was there first. In this situation, unfortunately anakin it wasn't over. We had the high ground and lost. read more

Food and Service were fantastic. Homemade lemonade was great. It's a small place so there is a wait so if you don't have patience, don't torture these nice people with your rudeness. read more

I went to this cute and cheerful cafe yesterday for lunch, with a bunch of my church friends. We had a delightful time and the food was so yummy! I had "The Usual" Eggs (scrambled) and got toast with the house jam, which was fresh blueberries in a nice sauce; I guess is how I would describe it and it was a welcome change of pace from the jelly that sits on the table (for who knows how long) in the little plastic cups. I also added the potato hash for extra $3. The hash was little cubes of potatoes and they were fried crispy and seasoned well. Someone ordered the lemon curd pancakes and I got to try a bite. They were delicious! I will definitely get those next time! A lot of people ordered the half Cobb Salad. It looked delicious. Someone also got the full Cobb salad and it was so huge. They had to take half of it home. The owner/chef came out and talked to us and told us the story of how this little cafe came about. (It's relatively new) She is a such sweetheart! I love the theme and can't wait to see how they continue to decorate it. (Maybe I'll even get to paint some lemon artwork for them. ) I will be back! I'm already dreaming about those lemon curd pancakes! read more

Great little spot in Ralston for an early breakfast or later lunch! This place has something for every taste. From classic breakfast and lunch items to more adventurous items for those that like to try new things. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and the aoili sauce was so good! I always have to have sweet and savory for breakfast so I got the breakfast hash with a pancake for a side. Can't wait to try more menu items! read more

Nice hole in the wall breakfast joint. Only down side is limited seating. However, I enjoy places like that. Just be prepared to wait if busy. Food was amazing. Biscuit and gravy were made from scratch. Did not short you on gravy either. Can't complain about that. Hash plate was perfect. Potatoes are perfectly done and entire plate was seasoned perfect. Servers were very friendly and attentive as well. Never letting the water or coffee be empty. We will be back! read more

If you want home style cooked food with flavor this is your place. Absolutely a 1st choice for breakfast or brunch. The service is second to none. You have to go and try it out. read more

Been meaning to stop by to have breakfast for months. Today was the day. I am now questioning why it took me so long. The service was incredible even though they were packed. The food was OMG fabulous. My Avocado Toast was on toasted sourdough with 4 inches of delectable seasoned avocado and thinly sliced tomatoes to top it off. I ordered the bacon, some of the best bacon I've ever had. The egg cooked perfectly over medium not to run into the toast. My wife raved about her fish as well. No matter how far it is take a drive to downtown Ralston and eat here. Service, quality and affordability, the trifecta of cafes. read more

First time to the Lemon Tree and we were impressed with the quality of the the food and friendly service. I had the Avocado Toast with egg. It was excellent! My husband had the French Toast and the size was very filling with great flavor. They even warmed the maple syrup before they brought it to the table. We will be back again to try their other items on the menu! read more

Family owned breakfast/lunch spot in Ralston. One of the best breakfasts you'll have anywhere. Biscuits and Gravy are some of the best I've ever had. Cinnamon rolls are great, and sell out quickly. Be prepared to wait if not going right when they open, but know the wait is worth it. read more

Heard great things, wanted to try. Our server was friendly and efficient, place was pretty busy and a bit noisy. A mushroom burger and fries were great, stuffed French toast was just ok-filling was only a bit in one piece, nothing I would order again. Noticed someone frosting a huge tray of rolls on the counter by the front door, where customers stand to be seated, this was unappealing. Our server used very dirty looking rags as hot pads and threw one onto the counter by us and a stack of clean napkins. I realize this is a homey style place and all restaurants do things like this but NOT in the dining area The food was not enough to make me come back, with the other sanitary issues. read more

Good food with large portions. Good waitresses that can give you tips. Small facility but seems to move people through. Nice treat.

This is a cute little restaurant, the only drawback is the word little. Be prepared to wait as they have limited seating and it is a little loud. Now on to the important parts, service was top notch and the food even better. We had avocado toast, and pancakes. read more

The good was amazing. It was well worth the wait. I thought the prices were fair for the abundant amount of food. read more

The restaurant is small but the food and service were wonderful! We will definitely eat here again!

Went in for breakfast today at 10, they were busy but a gentleman sat us right away. The servers were quick and efficient during our entire visit. The blueberry lemon curd pancakes covered my entire plate and were delicious!! My side of bacon was extremely well done, so it's a good thing I like it crispy. They seemed to turn tables over pretty quickly but we never felt rushed to finish! read more

Get better coffee and I might come back. On the positive side, we were warmly welcomed to, and our waitress was amazing.

Lemon Tree Café - Sausage and biscuit sandwich and side pancake - Cafes Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

When walked in, no greeting by the lady, the owner?, who was making or cleaning up from making pastries. Looked at her, smiled, complimented the pastries and she turned away acting too busy. Should have been first red flag but I dismissed as possible she was busy. A restaurant reviewer in town raved about this place from hash to biscuits. Got those two things and the hash was seasoned potatoes-good but not as advertised with peppers and onions. The biscuit looked amazing but was dry and chewy. Butter helped it a bit but not enough to finish it. During course of breakfast, spoke to my husband, since we were on a date, about life. Come to find out that owner(?) must've been listening because not only did she make it a point to rub in my face my personal complaint made to my husband about a kid with random screams out of the blue here + there. Owner told the patron that people were complaining about her child. Nobody complained to the owner. Nobody spoke to her but for staff the entire time I was there so the complaint was my personally made one (maybe even other customers' private convo?). But I presume it was only mine because the owner awkwardly stopped the patron with the kid right in front of my table to make a big scene that someone complained and they laughed about how the kid ought to scream more and louder next time. I understand a single outburst, (as I have kids myself) but many times is not appropriate for the other diners. I wouldn't even have mentioned it because we all have experienced bad patrons here and there and the restaurant can't control patrons' kids. But the way the owner handled it was childish and a fair warning to others that if there's a misbehaving child, she'll make sure the child screams more just for the enjoyment this owner must get in others' cringing. read more

Lovely diner with lovely staff! Each time I have gone here I have tried something different, and I have never been disappointed. The food is outstanding, and the staff has always been super friendly and helpful. Even when they are super busy, the staff is so nice and accommodating. Delicious food and very friendly staff. They have only been open less than two weeks so still working out some glitches but no biggie. Had the Blueberry Lemon Curd pancakes and they were delicious. Light, fluffy and slightly crisp on the outside. Asked for more lemon sauce as it was so good. Hubby had eggs, sausage patty and fried potatoes and he said they were delicious (and he's picky). Will definitely be back! Unfortunately they were out of Carmel rolls but they said they will double the recipe next week! read more
