First off, the ambiance in The City Pub is nice and friendly, with astroturf accent walls, concrete floors, and a big cityscape transport map mural. There's a bar with lots of TVs to catch a game, and comfy booths and tables all around if you're only there to eat. The service was great, and we were checked on multiple times to make sure our drinks were full and our food was great. The beer was cold and crisp (I had two different ones, and both were awesome). I went with friends, and we all enjoyed our meals. We started with the Brusssels Sprouts and while it wasn't the largest serving, they were excellent with a balsamic and candied pecans adding to the tangy sweetness. Entree-wise, I got the meatloaf, and it came with tasty gravy, mashed potatoes, and steamed veggies. Not too heavy for being meatloaf, but big on flavor! My friends got the Caesar Salad and the Pub Burger. Both were large portions and they really enjoyed what they chose.
