We are always pleased with the food and service at Corner Kick. It's a great place for a margarita and whatever Mexican food you are looking for. Tonight, I had the fajitas, something I shied away from decades ago because of the noise it creates. I didn't like that everyone followed the sound to see who ordered fajitas. Yes, I was that shy. We live right by this location of the Corner Kick and had been once when they first opened. The first visit had a few snafus, with a dismissive server and food that was kind of "meh" for the price. We decided to go back and try one more time to see if maybe that was just because they were newly opened and working out the kinks. But unfortunately, this second visit had its issues too. The decor is cute with a bright green teal palette and several TVs around the bar and restaurant, drawing in the sports crowd to watch games any which way you turn. Our server this time was great, so that was not an issue this time. We ordered the Nachos and the Enchiladas with Beef. When our food and drinks arrived, this is when we noticed that there were ants EVERYWHERE by our feet (inside the restaurant), which was very unappetizing. We asked if we can take our food and drinks onto the patio to escape the ants, and our server was fine with that. The enchiladas were super tasty, with Spanish rice on the side that had an actual flavor instead of just being there to fill the plate. I asked for the green and red chili sauce and they worked super well together. My husband's nachos were good too, with a creamy queso sauce on top of a stack of chips, and with the same beef that was in my enchiladas. So the food and service was not the issue, we were just very tentative about eating anything not knowing if there were also ants in the kitchen where our food was made - ugh. With all that, I give them 3 stars for the great service and good food, but I had to knock off a few for the ant situation. Great service, don't ask for tacos, lack of flavor and not sure what cut of meat they use for the Asada(weird flavor). additionally Tacos are in the specials for Tuesdays, however they charged us full price, and the excuse was because of the meats we chose!!! just saying don't waste your money and apetite! read more

The atmosphere is what you'd expect here--casual quick dining spot which is just what we needed for a group galentines night. I got the shrimp fajitas and these were perfectly cooked with great flavor and a LOT of food! I saved some for a second meal and still had leftovers. The drinks were great too--mainly tequila based which is not my favorite but everyone else liked the margaritas. I would definitely come back! read more

This place just ruined Taco Tuesday. We were served rancid flour chips with the queso. We told the server, she tasted a chip and said they are supposed to taste like that. Next, I ordered a shrimp taco. I couldnt even eat it, it smelled like bait. (They took the shrimp taco off the bill). I also ordered a taco with beef, and the hamburger definatly tasted old, not made today - and was also dry. How is this place is business with all the better options in Omaha? The vibes at this place were great! Great music, TVs playing sports, decorated very well. The service was beyond great. Our server, Manda, was so social and kind! We loved her. The food was okay, but certainly not the best Mexican I've ever had. We ordered a variety of street tacos. But at happy hour price of $2.50 a taco, most definitely worth it! I came here for lunch with my mom and grandma. They had the enchiladas and I tried the flautas. They were very happy with the enchiladas and liked the spice in the beef. My chicken flautas were good, not great. My grandma also ordered a margarita, which she said was just ok. I'd come back here, but I don't know if it would be my first choice. read more

Stopped in here for a quick beer and appetizer after some meetings nearby. What a great experience! Manda took such good care of me! Chips and salsa are fresh and seasoned perfectly. I had 3 tacos, fish, chicken and beef, and all were great! Manda offered 3 different house made salsas to go with them and all were spot on! 3 stars because of great environment for soccer games. All the televisions are changed to the important game and everyone gets to see the exciting action. When relating to food it just seems alright. Doesn't knock you off your socks, but also isn't horrible. The tacos were a little cold when I had them which was disappointing but the flavor was there. I hope for this joint to become better. Also curious about the salsa, I feel as if its from a brand called Mama Hoots. But IDK. Very neutral about the food scene here. read more

I've been here a couple times now. Overall pretty standard menu for this Mexican style restaurant. Typical drink menu of margaritas, tequilas etc and all your standards as well. They do have a full bar and they carry a good variety of Tequilas. Excellent street tacos, pretty decent nachos and overall nice vibe in this place Good seating and TV's in the bar area to watch sports. Overall just seems like something is missing to bring it all together. Not sure what it is but just not a 5 star spot for me. My husband and I went here tonight for dinner he had the fajitas which were amazing and seasoned great. The rice and beans were delicious also. I had the shrimp tacos which were seasoned wonderfully. Fabulous experience! We went for a 21st birthday lunch and could not have made a better choice. Paul, the owner, gave a complimentary tasting course of tequila for the birthday girl. I'm not one to leave negative reviews because I like to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt when something goes wrong, but this is the second time in a week my to-go was missing something. The first time, I was told I'd receive a phone call from the manager and partially refunded, have yet to have received either. This time I was missing an entire meal and spent my entire lunch hour going to pick it back up. The food is good, but my coworkers and I will not be ordering to-go here again due to the consistent mistakes. read more

Terrible. Had a not so good experience at the Maple location. We tried here simply because we intended to visit Agave Azteca which was at this location prior to Corner Kick. They have a lot of TVs but when we were here, every TV had the same soccer game on it. The chicken in the quesadilla was dry and tasteless. The refried beans were not refried beans. The guacamole was dark. The rice was old and reheated. The special was buy one cheeseburger get one free which I suppose is a nice deal if you are not intending to have Mexican food for lunch. The menu is strange with a mix of different types of food which might be nice if you like that. I'm not sure what the specialty is here but it is no Mexican food. The fajitas look good but had absolutely no seasoning or flavor. The worst part of this experience was not getting my margarita on the rocks as ordered. The server tried correcting it by bringing me a glass of ice. Then we were charged for it. This was Strike 2 so we will never be back and we cannot recommend it. read more

I love the Cornerkick in Millard so when out in the area we decided to stop by their new location on a Sunday for street tacos. I thought it used to be $2 tacos on Sunday but for some reason now its burgers..at a Mexican place. We got street tacos and margs which as always are delicious but the reason for my low rating was the service. As the previous review mentioned, every single TV was turned on soccer. There were six tables with people and over four tables with plates and garbage from past parties. There was one person working behind the bar and two servers. The server that initially took our order disappeared and so there was only one person on the floor running around. We never got the salsa for our street tacos and the service took way longer than expected. I will come back for the street tacos and margaritas but stick to the Millard location. They need to work on their service out here. read more
