The food was absolutely amazing. Even though I may have came in and eaten after a long long night. This food was served so amazingly well and fulfilled every single tastebud I had. It's as if each bite was made for my food palette. The service was very welcoming and engaging. The lighting was gorgeous almost out of Mexico itself. I would highly recommend eating here for breakfast or even lunch and dinner. I'm only rating it four stars because I wasn't a fan of the smaller booth tables, but I will be coming back! Staff is always friendly and nice. Food is usually quick to be served and as expected. Good place for small or large groups! Drinks are delicious for alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. My favorite appetizer is the queso fundido! read more

Awesome service!!! My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch with his family and loved the hospitality we received. There was 8 of us in total including some small kids and an infant. Once we we were seated the waitress got a car seat holder for the baby ready (didn't even ask she was on it!) and made sure the game we were talking about while walking in was playing for us. This place has been here quite a while from what I remember. My office is right down the street. Dont let the exterior of building in a small multi-business mall fool you. The interior is almost an experience. You can find yourself lost in just admiring the work they put into it. For me, at least, that passion goes into the food and drinks they prepare. I have never had a bad plate of food here. The portions for me are quite large, and i end up getting take-home boxes. I love to experiment with reheating food, which can also show you the quality of the original ingredients if you can warm it up and make it taste great again. I should have gone to the food truck on 84th Street. Its food is tastier and cheaper. The beans were a weird bean paste with no flavor. The rice was strange. Not much chicken in the chicken burrito. It had a terrible cheese sauce on top. The pico de gallo was the only good item and the portion was small. They automatically charge 3% for using a card. I paid cash and it was a huge wait to get my change. The food truck doesn't add 3%. And the parking lot is completely terrible! I won't be back. read more

The inside is very clean and has fantastic plants and decor. The food and service has room for vast improvement! I had carne asada and it was okay but the beans and rice not good plus there was a big ol slop of sour cream in the middle of my plate. My husband got the chicken mole and wasn't impressed! Seating was pretty quick even tho they are considerably packed. So that was a pleasant surprise. Our waitress is really sweet and consistent which we looooove!!! You get complimentary chips and salsa, the chips were really good and fresh made. The salsa was decent not the best or the worst but it did the job. It was free so no complaints. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas, they came out fairly fast again considering how many people were here. The fajitas were soooo good, decent portions too. The sides that came with were decent (refried beans, lettuce, pico, shredded cheese, rice and sour cream). The beans were a little mid kind of lacked flavor the pico tasted like nothing, the lettuce was fresh the rice was good but everything else was just decent. I give this place a 7/10 I definitely will come back to try out other menu items. read more

The best food and the best service !!! Stopped here on our way to Denver with our pets and all the staff was so accommodating for their outside patio. Abraham set us up nicely putting out cushions and an umbrella for the light rain we encountered. I don't remember our servers name but she was amazing as well ! I enjoyed a delicious lunch with good (average) service with a small group of friends. I left an appropriate tip and was very disappointed when my credit card statement came in to see that an additional tip had been added by the restaurant or server. I emailed via their website and also called but the owner has not responded. I did not dispute the charge with my credit card company but did expect someone to look into this. Most people I know do not reconcile their credit cards each month so may not recognize an added charge of a dollar or two. I will not return to this restaurant based on this practice and lack of response from management. read more

I will admit I was really in the mood for a delicious margarita only to find out they cannot serve alcohol right now. We had already sat down so we proceeded with our orders. My son loves Mexican pizzas from Taco Bell so he chose that. I went with the healthier option : a chicken salad bowl. The bowl had rice, black beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocado, sour cream, chicken, and lime/avocado dressing. Very, very good salad!!! I had enough for two portions. I also tried as bite of his Mexican pizza, and I really liked it. Both are definitely options for next time! Our servers were attentive, and the restaurant was clean. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I was upset that they couldn't serve alcohol honestly. I love beer with my fajitas, but I decided to stay. My wife and son really enjoyed their food. I loved my fajitas! Huge portion of steak, chicken, and shrimp with grilled onions and peppers as well. The portion of rice, beans, and toppings was great with a large portion to take home. The meat was easy to cut and seasoned nicely. The two servers were friendly and gave us our space to eat without hovering. I want to go back once their liquor license is back. read more

The pina loca was also a very good entree my only complaint about it was it was a little salty. But overall it was delicious. Our family at lunch here and had a really great experience. Jose was so friendly, and the food was uncommonly good. Everything that we ate tasted "homemade" and the portions were quite generous. The best part of the meal was actually the salsa. Our chips were very fresh, and the salsa was very unique. It was so good we ordered a large container to go. The dining area has a great mix of tables and booths, there is plenty of seating for large groups as well as private booths for date night. They have a full bar and the service was really good - which is perfect before a hockey game or concert next door. First off, their chips and salsa were wonderful! A unique roasted salsa with homemade chips. This first step was so good that we thought it might be a hard act to follow. It wasn't! Maybe I just picked the best thing on their menu first off, but their seafood Enchiladas were the best thing I've had at a restaurant ever! It'll be hard for me to go there and not have those every time! I may never get to try anything else because I loved those enchiladas so much! My wife, from Chicago, has complained that there's no place in Omaha with good tacos. Tonight she got what she felt were the best tacos she's ever had in Omaha. I was sad when the previous occupant, Ragazzi's Pizza, closed but was anxious to try Agave Azteca. It's a great location close to the Ralston Arena with parking in front and around back. There is a cute outdoor patio along the side of the building with decorative art and shaded tables. My friend and I were the first customers at 11am on a Saturday and opted for an indoor booth. As others have mentioned, they did a fantastic job with the décor, really making the new space their own. The colors and artwork are festive and interesting to look at. Menu selection is huge and offers a range of Mexican fare from tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, salads, burritos, fajitas and more. Entrees can also be ordered in combos or platters. This day I opted for my favorite tacos de asada (pictured) and they did not disappoint. Served with a lime, pico de gallo, salsa and choice of rice or black beans. The rice was fluffy and had a mild flavor. We were also given chips and 2 kinds of dips as an appetizer. For dessert we split a flan, topped with whipped cream and served with little slices of strawberry and mango. I can make my own flan and could tell that this was the real deal. I was impressed with my first visit here and look forward to a return trip for something else on their extensive menu. read more

This use to be our go to place in town. Now it's def not. Prices have been raised like crazy and service is horrible. We were the only customers here and were treated like they didn't want us there. The chips are not home made. We got the all you can eat tacos and the chicken tacos were pouring water out of them. There is no way to complain either when no one comes back to the table to check on things. Refills we had to go ask for them each time. There are better places in ralston to go to and this place is not it anymore which is so sad to say. Maybe one day things will change but at this time we will not go back for quite some time. read more

Oh my mole! This place is loaded with flavor. I ordered the Chiles Relleno which is covered in mole and it's my favorite relleno I've ever had. The mole had a rich taste which was well balanced with the chile and cheese. Another party got the seafood tacos with beans and tomatillo sauce. They serve these pineapple bowls stuffed with chicken, steak, pineapple chunks, peppers and onions topped with a cheesy queso sauce it is so mouth watering! Well worth the price and it comes with rice or beans and a few soft shell tortillas!
