The staff is very knowledgable about what they're serving. They're the only spot in the Omaha area with steel tip darts and have leagues. You can bring in your own food, from anywhere but I suggest snacks from City Pub. They host a variety of beer and cocktail pairings, as well as decorating classes and things like that. Stopped in for an event being held here. First it's located on a cool strip that feels like you are downtown, the bar itself is really cool and really nice. I was here for a beer and cupcake tasting which sounds different but it completely works together. The beers we were offered were all good, everyone liked at least 3 of the 4! This is my family's go-to spot for a laid-back night out! We love playing darts in the back and get very competitive. It can get busy on weekends, especially if there's a show at the Astro, but during the week, it's super chill. The bartenders are the best. They are so friendly and always spot-on with recommendations. They even remember regulars orders, which my parents love. If you're not a beer drinker like me they have cocktails and mocktails available. I recently tried the cucumber mint mule and it was so good. If you love cucumbers this drink is for you. Loved the decor here during Christmas time! The whole street is lit up and it's an amazing experience. I had not been before and love both miles and beer. They had 3 great flavored mule options--I tried the salted caramel and cucumber, and both were amazing! I sampled a couple beers which were also great. Very limited snack options as this is a drink bar only. The options on their drink list are very versatile, and approachable. Prices are great as well--$9/mule. You order at the bar, and coming on a Saturday night there was plenty of seating even for our group of 8. Great service and excellent suggestions when you need them. The Heights Draft Room was a very neat establishment, with darts and board games, as well as a million different taps and cocktails/mocktails. I had never been to the La Vista City Centre shopping area, and found it super cute and a spot that definitely seems like it may be a booming little area very soon. The bartenders were extra nice and definitely accommodating to our big group event taking up a big portion of their bar. Drink-wise, I had the Founders Brewing Company "Solid Gold" lager, as well as the Sierra Nevada "Sunny Little Thing" wheat beer. Both were crisp and cold and pulled expertly from the tap without a ton of bubbly head on top when I was handed the glasses. My husband had the limited run "Watermelon Collins" cocktail, so I got to sneak a few sips of that as well. It was refreshingly citrusy and maybe a little dangerous as you didn't taste the alcohol at all. Aside from all the delicious drinks, we also had fun playing a little darts (though I won't lie and say we were any good at it LOL) This introduction to the area made me positive that I'll be back to the La Vista City Centre and in particular to the Heights Draft Room! read more

This place was awesome for the person who wants to try a good variety of brews. I love the fact you can get just about if not everything in the 4oz glass so you can really try out drinks. They also have the tap system that lets you know how much of that beer they have left. Also you can get 32oz crowlers to go which is cool and you dont always see at alot of places. The interior was inviting and they had board games even if you are into that kinda thing. The dude behind the bar was great to banter with really knew the things they had on tap. One thing that stood out to me was they had a bigger selection of Sours on tap than i normally get to see. I also ordered the s'mores old fashioned and it was also super tasty, not as sweet as the mule. Both drinks were aesthetically pleasing and delish - show stoppers. This was a really fun place to come for beers and Izzy's pizza bus! They had Izzy's one night, but it was a fairly long wait for it so we got to experience lots of what they had to offer. We went on a Friday night, and during happy hour they give you a little ticket that you can pull to reveal how much of your tab you have to pay that night. My husband pulled and got 50% off our tab for the night! We tried lots of beers, 2 flights between the four of us there, a few other selections, and a couple mixed drinks. They were all really good, especially the mezcal old fashioned! It had a great smoky flavor. The beers are all local Midwest, so lots of recognizable breweries and faves. This spot has ~35 rotating taps, a mix of local and other popular breweries. I was super impressed with the selection and the reasonable prices. There is also a pretty long cocktail menu available. Lots of TVs and they had CWS on. It is in a weird spot that is pretty uninhabited but should get filled in the next few years as La Vista builds the area. For now lots of parking!!! I recently visited the Heights for an event, and really loved my time there! The location is easy to get to - has tons of parking - and is clean and cozy inside. They offer a few traditional steel-tip style dart boards, to give it the "pub-feel" which is awesome. The selection of drinks is huge, and the digital menu is complete with descriptions of each drink, how much is left in the keg, and more. We spoke with Joey - who went into detail about how frequently the lines and equipment for the taps are cleaned and sanitized, which is really what sets this place above tons of others! In addition to the selection of brews on tap - they also have an extensive cocktail menu, and pride themselves in hand-squeezing and preparing their syrups, juices, and ingredients, truly making them masters of their craft. I myself am not a beer-drinker, but luckily for me, in addition to the cocktail menu they always keep two rotating ciders on tap, and usually one type of mead. I can't wait to visit again! read more

As others have stated this a spot with great ambience. A very extensive beer selection and a good selection of signature drinks. However for a bartender to refuse to serve me after the bar back let her know I wanted a Long Island iced tea and flinging a menu at me saying "I'll only make what's on the menu" then turning her back to me clearly sent a very clear message. I want to commend the bar back and he is the 5-star of the evening. He witnessed and quickly stepped up to diffuse the situation and tried his best to put me at ease with my shock of pure racism this bartender displayed. I had been here once before however it was near closing and she was not the bartender that evening and I had no problem ordering a Long Island on that occasion. My guest whom I had brought was infuriated and we left. Nearly in tears having seen for the first time a military veteran and a resident of this area for over 10 is treated by a select few in this community. read more

I had never heard of this bar until friends recommended it, and we met with another couple there. We received the best welcome from Kaleb (a bartender there) and had the best customer service ever from him. I was floored because I'm used to customer service lately when I am out and about just being pretty meh. I had asked Kaleb if I could get a banana beer. He said they didn't have any banana beer but right away he made me a pale ale with a shot of banana whiskey, and it was perfect. Followed that with a raspberry beer and a taster of some really yummy cheesecake-type beer. Besides the amazing bartender, the bar has a really great vibe. Just the right level where you feel like you can just wear jeans but also, it's not a dive at all. It's super nice and the owner was there and very nice as well. We will definitely be back.
