Lime Margarita
Katelyn C.

SO GOOD! I fell in love with Senor Tequila in Fremont so it's so great they have an Omaha location now too! Between the Fremont location and this one, I've tried so many things and everything has been amazing. My favorite is anything topped with the queso and salsa verde, and of course a Lime Margarita. This is truly my favorite margarita in Omaha. The service was also really good. An overall great experience every time!

Beef fajitas

Great dinner experience tonight. First off service was great. Friendly and checked on us often. Complimentary chips and salsa. Great chips. Salsa had good flavor just wish it was spicier. I will get the only negative out of the way. The refried beans were just ok. I'm more of a real refried with lard from meat person. The tacos al pastor had good flavor. The beef fajitas were excellent. They kinda float here between authentic Mexican and Mexican for white people. Like the pico de gallo doesn't have any chili peppers in it. Giving it 5 stars on the service and freshness of the food. Maybe next time I just ask what they can do to make it SPICY.

Margherita Flight

Senior Tequilas is of the same suite as the restaurant in Fremont. Corn chips and salsa were delivered complementary, chips were good, crisp, not stale. Salsa was a tomato sauce based salsa which was pretty good. We started off with a Blue Margherita and a Margherita Flight (Mango, Watermelon, Strawberry, and Lime). All had a good flavor, these do not kick you like some other restaurants in Omaha. We had the Pollo Michoacano; seared chicken breast topped with chorizo, grilled onions, and cheese. Served with a roasted jalapeño, beans and rice, and tortillas. Caritas Dinner which had large chunks of roasted pork with onions, served withe lettuce, guacamole, Pico, and sour cream. Enchiladas Verdes, chicken enchiladas covered in Verde sauce, cones with lettuce tomatoes and sour cream and a side of rice. Now I'm not going to get into a debate on 'authentic' Mexican food, but I know what I like. There wasn't one thing on our table I would turn down. Food was enjoyable, service was attentive and polite. We will be back.

After a day of errands and yard work, sometimes you just want carryout, right? And Mexican food usually travels well, so, Senor Tequilas it was! I ordered online and it was ready very quickly -- faster than predicted -- but I was close by, so it all worked out. Carryout comes with chips and salsa, which is lovely, because I usually load up on that when I dine in, and the salsa is good. My main dish was a cheesy rice and chicken concoction called Pollo Senor Tequila. It has little to no spice, but is such a comfort food, I really like it. And even if I chow down out of control, there's always enough for lunch the next day. No rave reviews for the sopapillas, though, which is sad. I was looking firward to a sweet treat. Perhaps they were delightfully air-filled and fluffy right out of the oil (but Im doubting it), as I like to remember sopapillas as being, but when I looked in the bag at home, they looked like tortilla chips drizzled with chocolate and topped with sprinkles. Not worth the calories, for sure. Stick with the main dishes, Ive tried a few and they're pretty good.

Quesadilla fajitas (steak)

The servers here are attentive and helpful. The vibes are chill and fun. Great drinks, and the food is delicious! I highly recommend the quesadilla fajitas! The cheese, the veggies, the steak - all of it tastes fresh and perfectly cooked.

The Old Fashioneds are some of the best I've had anywhere, and Aaron is one of the most talented mixologists in the city. In fact, Aaron is a big reason many people keep coming back. He's exceptional at what he does, and every drink reflects that level of skill. The espresso martinis are fantastic, but the "Not Espresso Martini" was an unexpected favorite that kept us coming back. One of the things I love most is that the menu changes seasonally, giving us a reason to come back and work our way through the new cocktails to find our latest favorite. The bartenders are knowledgeable, welcoming, and clearly passionate about their craft. The atmosphere is cozy, intimate, and full of character. There are actual typewriters throughout the space, which perfectly fits the literary theme and adds to the experience. As a fun touch, my friend always receives a book with her receipt and reads a random paragraph before we leave. It's those little details that make Inkwell feel like a hidden gem rather than just another bar. If you're looking for creative cocktails, talented bartenders, and a unique atmosphere, Inkwell is absolutely worth a visit. Such a vibe.

Drinks are solid and consistently well made. Nothing gimmicky, just good cocktails done right. The ambiance is fair but comfortable, and the size makes it ideal if you're looking to have a real conversation with someone without yelling over music or crowds. Location is another plus. It's very convenient if you want a drink before or after a Westside game, or just need a low-key stop nearby. If you're after a cozy, intimate spot with good drinks and a relaxed vibe, Inkwell Bar delivers.

I was already out west and spotted they were doing "The Grinch" Christmas pop-up--perfect excuse to stop in! The place was adorably decked out in full Grinch theme--super cute and festive inside, totally got me in the holiday spirit. They had a fun seasonal menu going too, so I tried the churro martini and the espresso martini. Both were deliciously desserty and hit the spot perfectly for a 9pm nightcap. The bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and whipped up great drinks quickly. You can tell there are some regulars who love the spot, but there were also plenty of us pop-up newcomers--it felt welcoming to everyone. The space is cozy and on the smaller side, so I'd say skip bringing a big group during peak hours, but as a solo visitor, I easily grabbed a seat at the bar. I'll definitely be back soon--their regular cocktail menu looks amazing, and I hear they have fun weekly specials. Highly recommend checking out the Grinch pop-up while it lasts!

Good food, great service, Midwest ambiance…read more My husband and I went this past Sunday and really enjoyed it! Wings - 9/10. We tried 6 different flavors and they were all really good! I wasn't a fan of the garlic butter Parmesan one due to the small cheese chunks, but loved the all the rest (medium, hot, spicy garlic, GGQ, Cajun dry rub) Crispy and very saucy. They were also a decent size. Good sauce, flavor, texture, and size. What more can you ask for?? Also each flavor has to be a minimum of 5 wings. Sunday special - $0.99 wings! Burger 4/10. The burger was okay - nothing special, but the patty size was decent so we liked that. Could see ourselves getting it again if we were looking for the protein, but I go here specifically for the burger. Not much flavor. Service - 10/10. Our waitress was the best we've seen in a while. COVID really ruined the service in Omaha so it was refreshing to see a sense of urgency and checking up on us multiple times without it being intrusive or annoying. She was very kind, attentive, and tried to make small talk with us. It was sweet. My husband is very particular with his tipping, and this is the first time in a while (if ever?) I've ever seen him tip 30%! Ambiance - It's an older restaurant that's been here for years. Nothing fancy, but they had multiple football games playing on all their tvs and good food. Friendly service and even the customers felt very wholesome and talked to us here and there. This restaurant is a casual, warm, Nebraska hug. We're definitely coming back!
