I wasn't a fan of the garlic butter Parmesan one due to the small cheese chunks, but loved the all the rest (medium, hot, spicy garlic, GGQ, Cajun dry rub) Crispy and very saucy. They were also a decent size. Good sauce, flavor, texture, and size. What more can you ask for?? Also each flavor has to be a minimum of 5 wings. Sunday special - $0.99 wings! Burger 4/10. The burger was okay - nothing special, but the patty size was decent so we liked that. Could see ourselves getting it again if we were looking for the protein, but I go here specifically for the burger. Not much flavor. Service - 10/10. Our waitress was the best we've seen in a while. COVID really ruined the service in Omaha so it was refreshing to see a sense of urgency and checking up on us multiple times without it being intrusive or annoying. She was very kind, attentive, and tried to make small talk with us. It was sweet. My husband is very particular with his tipping, and this is the first time in a while (if ever?) I've ever seen him tip 30%! Ambiance - It's an older restaurant that's been here for years. Nothing fancy, but they had multiple football games playing on all their tvs and good food. Friendly service and even the customers felt very wholesome and talked to us here and there. This restaurant is a casual, warm, Nebraska hug. We're definitely coming back! read more

Had a little birdie slide into my DMs the other night, and mentioned I should get down to Choo-Choo's and try their wings! So... that's what I did! Now I'm not a *huge* wing connoisseur so my 5-star is relevant to *my* tastebuds and *my* experience but I will say I was PLEASANTLY surprised at the amount of flavor these bad girls packed. Also, why I thought my shrinking stomach could handle 15 I'll never know but I scarfed down 6 busting at the seams, with plenty for the next day. Was I greedy in ordering 15? Yea, probably... but at $0.69 a pop, it doesn't break the bank! Garlic Butter Parmesan was the choice for all 15, and I will GLADLY be burping up garlic for the next 12hrs; gladly! T grabbed the 6 Honey BBQ ones and commented on how delicious those were. But did I offer a taste of my choosing? NOPE! (so so garlic-ee, buttery, parmesan-ee good!) T's never ending search for that *bomb-ass-reuben* is still on going so ordering their Reuben, was no shocker! I was told that they "cook their own corned beef in house" and it MADE a total difference! He wasn't sayin' much while he was eating which isn't his norm! Equal ratio of corned beef to Swiss to dressing to bread is always a winner in his book. The fries? He said they reminded him of another local burger joint and were just as good! They also make their own ranch for those ranch whores We waited about 30-ish minutes for the food and I'm told that's on the low end during their wing night, so no valid complaints from us. I tend to be impatient by nature when I feel my *food-mood* shift, but I'm the problem, it's me; not them! Well worth the wait if you're askin! Smashed a Tree Frog off of their cocktail menu! Reminded me of the perfect drink for brunch; orange-juicy, vodka-ee, colorful + a decently sized maraschino cherry that I could've used more of, personally. Boy do I love those little fools. I did have my eye on their other cocktails but the name escapes me at the moment. I WILL be back for that one! My wife and I went here today for a lunch date because I wanted to try a new burger place and we live nearby. Initially when we pulled up, it looks like a dive bar but the inside was well kept and inviting. As a non-regular, I wasn't exactly sure which door to go in (it's the one with the restaurant name on it lol). When we went in, there were two people at the bar and nobody dining in. Our first table was dirty so we moved to another and placed our order. The waitress was extremely friendly, getting us anything we needed and bringing us a small pitcher of water to refill with - I drink a lot of water intentionally and wish more restaurants would do this!!! We started off with the appetizer of fried mushrooms/cauliflower (a half-and-half). The mushrooms are the darker pieces and the cauliflower were the lighter ones. I did not eat the mushrooms, my wife tried the cauliflower but the mushrooms were definitely for her. We both had pieces that were cold in the center and some of her mushrooms leaked a bit of juice, but most of it was hot and crispy. For my main course, I got the patty melt with tater tots. The patty melt was juicy with a little bit of pink, but a tad under-seasoned. The tater tots were crispy, salty, and very tasty! My wife got the Hindenburger, which came with jalapenos, pepperjack cheese and nuclear sauce. It was definitely spicy but had good flavor! We got anything needed during the meal and had a very enjoyable lunch. I would return again and try other items that sounded equally delicious. read more

If I could I would give this place 0 stars! . Well we thought we would give this place another chance and they failed miserably. My friend and I sat down at 12:15pm, got our drinks and our food order in within about 5 minutes. We see the waitress clearing plates from other tables, talking to other people who appear to be regulars, taking food out and refilling other people's drinks all while we are completely ignored. 1pm rolls around and my friend goes to ask the waitress where our food is. The waitress say, "well didn't I tell you there is a big party in the other room. Your food should coming out soon." No we were never told and why should it matter! She goes to the back to check on our food, comes back and says "the cook is starting your food next. 45 minutes later!? We collected our things and walked out! I visited for the first time. It appears to be a low key, neighborhood spot. Staff, and other patrons were very friendly. Our bartender was very sweet. We order 2 flavors of bone in wings. My husband and I go to this place quite often. On Fridays, they serve a whole steak dinner with baked potatoe garlic bread and salad for $26.00 plus tax. It's a great deal and the steaks are huge. I recommend getting there early in the evening as it's first come, first serve, and they sell out usually before 9. I have had a little problem a cple of times with the steaks being over seasoned. I now just ask for light seasoning. Taco Tuesday is pretty good as well That being said, we have also tried other things from the menu. I have to say that the food on the regular menu is hit or miss. Wings are decent,nothing spectacular,burgers are a little bland, the onion rings have been good one time and the next time too greasy and breading is coming off. Zero stars for service unless you are a regular. For thr second and last time the wait has been ridiculous. A day ago my friend and I went and waited 45 min and still no food but all the while the waitress is checking on others that she has taken food to. I finally went up and asked if she would check on our order stating we had been waiting 45 min. She said oh didn't I tell you we have a party on the other room so there would be a wait. I said no you didn't buy stll, 45 min and still no food? I asked her to check with the cook to see if he had started our order and if he hadn't we were leaving. She stepped into the kitchen, came back out and said no he hasn't started it yet but your order is next. I said forget it. She acted like she didn't care at all. Me and a friend were looking to try somewhere new for lunch, and luckily decided on choo choo! This is a small dive bar that has the feel as though it has been here forever, with the bar full of regulars and a wonderful waitress in her late 40s who has remembered my name since the first time I've visited. The atmosphere is very relaxed and has a small town feel to it. They have amazing daily lunch specials!! My favorite is Wednesday's hot beef, but they also have French dips on Thursdays and NY strips on Fridays. I believe there is a taco special on Tuesdays as well, and there is also another Monday special. (wait for it)...MAN-WING-O DAY!!!!!!!*trademarked. We met there in a little strip mall that's in the middle of a few more strip malls. Kinda like a Strip Mall-ducken? Deep fry that and I may consider that Godly. Upon entering the Thunderdome of the Wingolocaplyse you get greeted by the bar portion of this place. Its...bar...y. Meh. Not my concern. My trophy comes bone-in(don't go there). The bar is actually a small bit of this place. It's rather spacious and looks like it can take in well over 17 adults, 6 kids, and 3 midgets. We were lead to the side room, which I will dub "The Husker Shrine Room of Infinite Why Don't They Win Anymore Like All These Signs Say They Use To". This was a good sized room too. So much...Huskers(Hello darkness, my old friend...). "Place is fine, get on with the wings!!", screams the angry mob...fine...plebeian welps. As I said, I don't mess around on my version of Lord of the Wings. I'm Gollum, my prrrrrecious is the One Wing. One Wing to rule them all....So I need more than a tasting. I went full Bro-team and got the order of 15-16 (how the menu has it listed) with the hottest sauce it comes with...YOLO. More wings were ordered by my Wing Squad. We had a lot of wings. And under 10 minutes later we had a lot of wings before us. Good job. Now the wings. I read tales, legends, songs, homeless people ramblings, that these were up on the top of the Best Wings of Omaha. I'm happy to report that they are the OK-est Wings in Omaha. (Trumpets and Angels singing) Yea...they were ok. They were really good but when you come in with the legend of John Henry's hammer and turn out to just be really good...it makes it seem just ok. Let me emphasize: These are really good wings. But they didn't make give me the religious experience I was hoping for. They were just good wings. Then wings, themselves, were big and packing meat so yay to that. The sauce was fine and had an ok kick for being the place's Butt Burning Blood Farters. But that's it. They were just good wings. So...I have to say the quest continues. This place gave it a solid shot and they are better than other local attempts at my life. The place is nice and the service was great. But this isn't the Zenith of the Wingeth I wanted it too be. Still a good wing place. I'd eat their wings again. I just wouldn't go out of my way to drive to Millard, specifically for these wings. It's a good, solid attempt. Two of us Douglas County Legislative Candidates; Julie Fredrickson (Dist 20) and Haile Kucera (District 12) held our "watch the results" party there and they exceeded our expectations! The huge menu was well received and the food was very good. Our Server was on top of our needs and very friendly. The Owner even greeted us. We were ALL impressed and will absolutely be back. I don't think I would have ever found this place if not for someone recommending to check it out. It's not to food or drink specials that will draw you in but more of the interesting atmosphere and excellent staff. The food was average and typical of any other bar and grill in town. The waitress was very attentive. She never let a drink go empty (water or beer), stopped by several times just to see how things were, and smiled each time she passed by us. She also gave us her personal suggestions on what she liked best on the menu. The look of the place is in the dive bar category for sure, but it wasn't as dark and dingy feeling as some other places. The place looks like it hasn't seen an update since 1970 and that's what makes it great! Karaoke was going on and it was not your typical ballads being belted out by drunken patrons. The songs ranged from a 30 something signing Peaches by The Presidents of the United States to a 70 something singing a German polka. In between we had a little Elvis sung by a man who was on a mission to entertain us with a lesser know Elvis song. These people sang their hearts out and it was really great to listen to! Me my roommate and my fiance came here religiously every Thursday for months. The service was always okay, some days we would wait a little longer for the waitress than we would like. The place is definitely a dive bar which in my opinion give the place a sort of charm. There is ALWAYS regulars here and sometimes they say some sketchy stuff which usually just makes me chuckle. The reason this place gets 5 stars is the delicious wings and their fantastic consistency. Of the several several times I've been here, there was only one time the wings came out sorta dry with no sauce but they quickly gave me extra sauce and it was back to normal deliciousness. I love spicy and the nuclear and spicy garlic sauces have the best flavor EVER. I recommend getting the hot with a side of nuclear and ranch. The flavor is simply phenomenal.
