Great environment, sports on TV, people playing golf, cold beer and delicious food. It ain't all about the golf. I've been here several times and I am always impressed by the good food and good service. I have tried many different items and like them all. Just tried the smoked chicken nachos for the first time and was totally shocked that I have never ordered them before. Nachos, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes smoked chicken, more cheese, 10 out of 10 on the nacho scale. $15. Smoked chicken cheesesteak is my standard and it's good every time, I skip the cream cheese. $12.95. Very filling. Molinari Caesar wrap, with grilled chicken and crispy romaine lettuce and croutons in a fresh tortilla wrap. Very filling, very good wrap, $10. Hang around, there is lots to see and do here. Lots of big screen TV's, several bays for golf if you want. Great place. Great service. Great food. Come to watch a game. Bring your clubs, too. $50 bucks for two for Great Fun, before tip. Tip well, they appreciate it. Get here for a game, beer and nachos! read more

We came here for the simulator and it did not dissapoint! I have been to 2 others and this one was a great vibe. In comparison, it has all types of turf you will hit from, which I have not seen before. It is also more user friendly--allowing the customer to set up games etc. The Bay Area is big enough, but if you drive very hard you will bounce back a few golf balls onto the restaurant floor! We did this a couple times but it was not a huge issue. The food is decent--Buffalo chicken dip was great. The salad was alright but hardly had any of the mixins with the lettuce. Next time I'll get a different one. Overall this is a good value for the golf membership if you enjoy using a simulator. We haven't had any issues getting in the 2 times we've gone in. There are 3 bays and plenty of restaurant/bar seating as well. Great service! read more

Beyond Golf is in the regular rotation for my friends and I to kick off a Sunday funday! Don't let the name deter you, so much more than a golf place! Bottomless mimosas available, and a great brunch menu with plenty of GF options. They always have a few local craft beers on tap to choose from. Lots of TVs to watch your favorite game. Some of my favorite menu items are the breakfast tacos or quesadilla, buffalo chicken dip, and the cuban sandwich. Service has always been attentive and friendly! read more

Got the breakfast quesadilla, and it was delicious. Service was above the usual. Shelby was wonderful. The ambience was the best.

Leaving Costco was looking for a lunch, but something and someplace different. Stumbled onto this little bar. Ordered a burger and then about a month later my wife and I stopped for a dessert. The Burger was good...I won't say great, but for a little out-of-the-way place it was really good. Burger/fries and a beer....simple but enjoyed my visit But the second time visiting for a 'snack', we shared 'cookie skillet of the day" Chocolate chip with icing. WOW it was great... This was definitely worth coming back for. We shared one because it was so large. read more

We came here around 4:30 on Saturday. We had a group of 10 (4 adults, 6 kids) we didn't make it past our drink order. The waitress/ bartender was so drunk off her ass, she instantly made the group feel uncomfortable. Just handing out the menus was a lot of work for her. She got all the kids drinks wrong (didn't even write anything down) It was super unprofessional. We immediately asked for our tab and left. Ended up having a great meal down the road where we actually felt invited. read more

I stayed next door @ Comfort Suites & this place was recommended by the staff for dinner. I won't lie but walking up I almost said screw it and went to jimmy johns because this place looks really sketchy from the outside because your really confused on just what the heck it even is. But once u cross the threshold into the door u will be completely shocked by what your eyes see. It seriously took me by total surprise. I was greeted by a cute little brunette with an awesome smile and said hey just sit where-ever u want. I will say that I was disappointed because there isn't any burger options on the menu but they talked me into the wings and dam I'm Glad I did because they were legit. The spicy ranch was a huge touch as well. For desert I had the chocolate chip & vanilla ( the vanilla tasted like it was from the dollar store freezer ) but it worked I guess because I still ate it. I would for sure hit this place again read more

My family walked over from a hotel, only expecting a simple dinner to satisfy before a day of travel. We were pleasantly surprised by the dinner options, quality, and atmosphere. Such a fun place and we didn't even participate in the virtual golf! We ordered sandwiches, wraps, a burger, and a salad. Each dish was excellent and the server was very welcoming. We will be back the next time we are traveling through the Omaha area! read more

It's been at least 4 years since I brought my nephew here for some virtual golf, and at that time they partnered with a pizza place next door for food. Now they make their own and I must say I was quite impressed! The Queso Poblano dip was delicious and the flat breads were as well! I was surprised how tasty I found the BBQ Smoked Brisket flatbread to be! I reluctantly took it thinking I'd at least try a bite, but ended up eating the whole piece! Then I tried the Pesto Margarita flatbread. WOW! So savory! I actually ended up ordering one of these to go! Great atmosphere and super friendly staff! Wouldn't mind watching a Husker game here and snacking on their delicious flatbreads and trying other items off their menu!! May even bring my nephew to enjoy some virtual golf!! read more

The overall experience was good and a few people from my group said they'd go back. We rented an event slot and you pay by the hour. There were three separate virtual golf areas and we played groups of 4. Pros: the food was better than bar food, the service was attentive and helpful with the instructions and there was a variety of activities for the gold set up (driving range, 30+ gold courses to play and a dart putt game). Cons: I was expecting it to me more golfing and was surprised to see it was used more as a bar. The club hitting the ball makes an echo snap noise and took us a while getting used to. The drinks weren't our favorite but the service was quick. Apps were average price ($9-11) Tips: they have clubs but they are all sizes, you can bring your own clubs, try the Brussels sprouts and mozzarella sticks. read more

if you're going to play here, you absolutely need to bring your own clubs. theirs are thrift store bargain bin. really bad. the bays have automatic system that puts the ball on the tee - but the ball gets stuck more often than works. the simulator is worse than inaccurate. the service and people were very nice. otherwise it would be one star. Loved the food and the beer, not a fan of the bartenders ( young girls 21-23) giving there numbers and hooking up with older men in relationship/married. Watching a close friend be destroyed by her actions. it is very unfortunate for such a great place. read more

Wait time is pretty crazy. My colleague and I waited around 20 mins for our 2 meals. They weren't crazy meals either, just a burger and a sandwich. It was priced right, service was ok. I work nearby and love having this familiar and friendly place to go for the popular $6 daily lunch specials. I've never not liked what I've eaten! We came in for supper after a round of golf and it was somewhat busy...not crazy. Omaha is hosting the big 10 baseball tournament but it was not on any of the multiple TV's. There is also a couple golf tournaments in play, again not on any of the TV's....women's softball just ended so now every screen is on hockey. They don't know how to change the channel? read more

For what is, it's great. You hit golf balls into a soft screen, which projects an actual game using cameras and motion-detectors. I got startled every time a ball hit the screen, but it looked like fun if you're a golfer! Their flatbread was the softest I've ever had. read more

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. Came in because it was one of the only places open at 10am near us that served beers (problem acknowledged). Golf simulators were full, beers were flowing, and the food was way better than I anticipated. The Dagwood is served on Ciabatta and has plenty of thick sliced ham, turkey, bacon, and cheese. Kind of tucked away, but is a great spot. Also their brunch menu looks bomb. read more

I honestly thought this was a golf store, until it came up on yelp. Apparently they have virtual golf, not sure if you bring clubs or rent, that's not my thing. The inside is nicer than most bar and grills, kitchen is open towards the front, so it feels like a higher end restaurant. Menu was varied, I'm picky and saw several things I'd try. I ended up getting the Cuban with potato chips. It was very good. My hubby got a turkey, it was real sliced turkey, not lunch meat. The best thing was the service, definitely top notch. We definitely will be back. read more

Came here with a friend last week... Had the nachos and bbq brisket flatbread... Oh man, both items were simply phenomenal... I was first introduced to this place when my husband started playing in a golf league with some friends years ago. Everything from the ambiance to the service and the food are wonderful. I'm not much of a golfer, but the simulators look like a lot of fun and I know my husband really enjoys it with friends. As for the food, it really is so much more than what you'd get at a typical bar and grill. The flavors are incredible and so unique. It tastes like you are eating at a 5 star restaurant in a bar and grill setting. Some of our favorite foods include the Brussel sprouts sprinkled with parmesan, balsamic and onions and bursting with flavor, their queso poblano which has a little kick and puts any other cheese dip in the city to shame, jalapeno poppers which includes a house cheese spread which is out of this world, their beef brisket French dip which my husband says is the best he ever had, and any of their panini sandwiches (turkey pesto is my favorite). Check them out for just food, golf simulators, or both. The great thing is they are offering take-out during this unfortunate COVID-19 situation. My husband and I did this last weekend because we really want to support this great place, and highly recommend that you do too. You definitely will NOT be disappointed. read more

I want to like this bar and grill and gave it a couple stars as I did get my jalapeño poppers as ordered and they were really good, but service at the bar was not good and I often found periods of time without a drink and having to flag down the bartender for a refill. Probably the worst part is I ordered the Wednesday special (3 tacos) and NEVER got them. Sitting barside is usually a good idea to get attentive service but I have to take a couple stars away for the opposite. Sorry Beyond Golf, but you need to step up your game or get more help Beyond the Bar so your patrons don't get similar service. Who would've known that a virtual golf bar would have incredible food? Definitely not me. I came here over lunch with a friend who recommended it. I'm not anything close to a golf fan, but I am a fan of food and alcohol, which as it turns out, is all you need to be when you come here. Seated at the bar, the service was super fast and super friendly. The menu offers nachos, phillies, salads, flat bread pizzas and more. The first trip, I ordered the chicken philly - pretty great. My friend got the brisket nachos - they were better. The second trip, I got the grilled cheese - added bacon, obviously. It came with tomatoes and onions, which was a little odd to me, so I picked those off. They don't offer fries (whomp, whomp), but you can get chips, cole slaw or a side salad. The slaw was unlike any I've had before - slices of granny smith apple and chunks of blue cheese. I'm not even a blue cheese fan, and it was delicious. My friend got the flat bread pesto pizza - and once again, he ordered better than me. Idk what this place is like during happy hour, or at night, but during the day, it's quiet and relaxed and most important when dining over your lunch hour, it's quick! read more

As good as it gets for entertainment + food + drink. I called last minute on a Saturday night and got a 30 min. bay reservation for my hubs birthday and it was perfect! Our small group watched him play for a reasonable amount of time. He was so happy to swing despite the negative temps outside. The group was served by an extremely helpful and attentive AND accommodating staff. Once we moved over to our table for dinner we were even more surprised to dine on EXCEPTIONAL food. Like, flavors and tastes you don't expect from a place that I'm not 100% sure has a kitchen...we had the pizza and french dip. Im hungry thinking about it, I didn't want it to end I will definitely be back...and maybe with enough notice we'll get the full hour :) read more
