We went on a mini road trip to Des Moines from Kansas City and this was the first spot we visited! Every corner has its own personality, making it just as fun to look around as it is to sip your drink. On top of that, since the bar is in the hotel basement, there's no cell service. The Wi-Fi password I was given didn't work, which made the experience more frustrating than it needed to be. Overall, it's a visually interesting space, but the combination of pricing, slow service, and connectivity issues made it not my favorite bar experience.
