We stopped in for a crafty drink belly up at the bar. It's nice talking with the bar tender about drinks & watching his mixology skills! They have a great menu to choose from & the ambiance is laid back with enough seating for small groups indoor & outside patio.

Ambiance here is cozy and romantic. Seating is comfortable and not too large but enough space to find seating. The drinks here were creative with the ingredients that were included in each drink but overall was unimpressed with the flavor profile of the 3 different drinks I tried. My first drink seemed a bit unbalanced with the Mezcal and didn't have much other flavor coming through. My second drink was better and I enjoyed the cucumber whip on top but overall was underwhelming. I tried a drink of my friend which she enjoyed but again I wasn't blown away. I think the place is promising and i'd be willing to go back and try other cocktails! The pricing is just right and servers are nice!

The menu has rotated again!! Of course it's awesome. Some great hot drinks to warm the soul Irish Coffee pictured below. Try the other warm one with a hint of orange and cognac. Be sure to try them if you are looking for an amazing old fashion .

There are not enough cocktail bars around Omaha like Inkwell. Great place to go for a dare night without having to go downtown or way out west. It's a nice dim place with great drinks. The bartender was also super helpful and very knowledgeable in his drinks. I ordered the Loose Leaf drink and if you like Thai tea this is for you! I couldn't have just one!

This little bar is a vibe. The drinks were delicious. There were a variety of cocktails and high end spirits. There is a rotating list of fun and creative seasonal cocktails. The walls are lined with photos of famous writers in history. This is a great quieter spot for dates and a small group hangout.

Popped in on a Saturday evening for a cocktail with some friends. The place is very small and welcoming. The bartender was very friendly and easy going. They have fun photos on the wall of famous folks, you get to guess who they are and they have a key to give you the answers. Kind of fun. They do a good variety of classic and modern cocktails. Reasonable prices. I recommend stopping in and relaxing.

You don't need to be in Benson, Downtown, or Blackstone to have a killer night with some exceptional cocktails. Here in Countryside Village, visit this cozy and intimate space with friends and loved ones for a solid night of connections. While just about every menu these days at restaurants boast a "craft cocktail" menu, there are just over a handful of businesses here in Omaha that have the artistry and training to make it an actual art form, with fireworks on the taste buds. Inkwell is one of these establishments, and there is a thoughtful care in the curation and execution of beverages. The small but delightful patio is also dog friendly. Perfect neighborhood bar with some stellar drinks.

Found this little gem when I was getting my haircut next door. If you love whiskey, and old fashions, get here ASAP. The selection is insane, and they have a number of other drinks. Felt like I stepped into a Speakeasy but in this plaza! 10 out of 10. Amory was my bartender and he knows his stuff! Amazing service, and I'll be back every haircut.

Did you know that Countryside Village is one of the next cool places to hang out on weekends? Well, I sure didn't. (It's no just "a small town in the city" anymore!) Until, that is, we stopped into Inkwell for some craft cocktails before our dinner reservation last Saturday evening. We were early enough to beat the rush so got to chat up the bartender / owner in an attempt to increase our alcohol IQ (a constant pursuit). Discovered some new drinks / spirits, enjoyed the chill vibe (may benefit from some musical tweaks for the early hours?) and ultimately discovered another stellar spot in town to enjoy a quality drink. Cheers!

VERY SMALL seating area. If you are bringing any more than three friends, you better pray no one else has the same idea. I found the cocktails quite good--I will be honest that I was a little out of my element (I'm a wheat beer kind of gal), but I found the menu had enough selection I found something I would enjoy. They have tons of whiskey and bourbon as well if you aren't in the mood for a hand crafted cocktails.

This place is very intimate from 5 seat spaces at the bar to a few small tables on the main area. Regardless, service is fast and efficient. I have brought business clients here to begin conversations and the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. I really do recommend this quaint location near eateries that has plenty of parking around this business.

Think we have a new favorite craft cocktail bar! My husband and I like the Berry and Rye, Wicked Rabbit, and Jambo Cat is a new fav but we live out west so finding a craft cocktail place west of 72nd Street was a great. This place has a great ambiance. Small bar with a literary feel. We started with the Kensington and the Winter 75. Both perfectly made. Next I redeemed the Yelp taste offer and tried the Old Plantation Pineapple. What a great offer and way to try something new! Next my husband went for the Irish Coffee and I asked the bartender for dealers choice - no Tequila (thanks to a study aboard in Mexico!). He asked three questions: 1. Boozy or not? 2. Summer or Winter? 3. Batman or Superman? With my selections of Boozy Summer Batman he returned with a Vieux Carre. Wow it was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Great drinks and atmosphere. Totally 5 stars if the music was down 2 notches. Everyone is yelling at each other to talk. Fun book theme. (Frequent traveller in his home town)

Something I really liked is that they let you bring food from other places since they don't serve any, which is perfect if you want to hang out for a while. Their drink menu is huge, and the presentation is honestly amazing. When we first got there it was slow, but it definitely got busier as the night went on. We did struggle a bit when it was time to check out because all the servers were running around, so just be ready for that on a busy night. Overall, we had a great time. They even have pairings on their menu that show you which popcorns go best with each cocktail (and each cocktail actually comes with a side of that popcorn). If you like your side of popcorn that came with your cocktail, you can also purchase a large bag of it to take home! Our favorite popcorns have been the French Toast, Bourbon Bacon Cheddar, and Peanut Butter. They have popcorns for every craving - savory or sweet.
