My husband and I went out for a day date to Smash Park. We reserved duckpin bowling and a sing suite. We enjoyed every moment of being here! While bowling, we were assisted by Quinn. She was spectacular! She brought us drinks and food in a very timely manner. We got the nachos and bao buns and they were incredibly tasty! Quinn continued checking in on us and when it was time to go to the sing suite, she escorted us there and got us all set up. Smash Park has been a great addition to the area of La Vista. I love that Omaha and the surrounding areas are getting places that promote interaction and moving around. I've gone here a few times now and I've always thought the food was pretty good. I've tried their wings and tacos so far and I think the wings would have to be my favorite. My favorite part of smash park is the different areas of activities they have. They've got several games that are free and are inside and outside. But they also have a great variety of games that need to be reserved and paid for. The price points area a range and I think they offer cheaper prices for pickle ball during certain times of the week. I'd have to say I think my favorite game to play here has got to be Duckpin bowling. My boyfriend and I have enjoyed this game with his cousins as well as his parents and siblings. It's fun, pretty reasonably priced, and there's seating in this area too if you wanted to order a snack or drink. Sometimes I think this little corner gets forgotten about by the staff but they are easy to flag down if you need help. Our family and I stopped here to spend some time together before the crazy baseball season started. Of course, with our family being super competitive, we had to go to the bat box they assigned us the cage on the right that had a few technical difficulties. At one point nothing was supposed to happen and two balls shot out at once and hit my son in the stomach while he was listening to the employee on how to play a particular game we were about to start. Checked out Smash Park in La Vista for the first time and it was definitely a unique experience! They've got all kinds of activities--pickleball, axe throwing, bowling, yard games--and a full food and drink menu, so it's a great spot whether you're looking to chill or compete. We went on a day they happened to be filming, so I expected it to be pretty crowded. Surprisingly, we arrived right when they opened and it was still pretty empty. We headed to the rooftop to grab a drink and some food, but the service was very slow considering how few people were there. That said, the drinks were decent, and the mac and cheese was absolutely delicious--super creamy and flavorful. By the time we finished eating and got down to the games, the place had really filled up. Axe throwing was the only activity we were able to squeeze in, but it was a blast. Hoping to go back soon to try out pickleball and bowling when it's not quite as busy. This was our first time here, and we were trying to have some fun with the boys after a rough night previously. We walked in and scheduled the bat box immediately prior to eating food. We started off with the garlic aioli fries that were delicious. The fries were crispy and loaded with Parmesan with a great dipping sauce. I wasn't too terrible hungry so I went with a side salad that was plentiful. My husband and son shared the street tacos that could feed an army...there were a ton of tacos. My ordered their mac & cheese that he said was good but could've had a bigger portion size for him. We initially did the duck pin bowling but came back two weeks later for the karaoke room. It's a lively atmosphere with lots to do. I always book online, which makes it easy to see what they have to offer and available times. I think the lively atmosphere could add to some of the chaos of getting the activities started though. When we did the duck pin bowling, no one approached our lane and I had to order at an outside bar. The table a lane over was also doing the same thing, but there appeared to be a server for the area, just not checking in. Same with the karaoke, she checked us in and walked us to the room since it was our first time but had to chase out a group of kids that were using it. The kids kept opening the door after it was our time also; kind of ruining the vibe. I think it's partly a parenting issue but maybe an 'in progress' sign or 'don't disturb' could help. I organized an event for about 75 of my colleagues, and Smash Park was an excellent place for us! I worked with Stella to plan our event, and she was so communicative and helpful with every step! We had an area reserved for us that included duckpin bowling and axe throwing, with a bar for our group to access. We also got the Taco/Nacho bar for everyone and it was SO delicious! We had a number of gluten free people in our group, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that a majority of the food in that package are already gluten free. Smash park was so much fun and really cool! I came on a Thursday morning with my son at 9:15 am (so early I know) so we had the place to ourselves. We played the duck pin bowling which we both loved, the arcade, cornhole, and the connect 4. I paid $10 for an hour for the 2 of us to bowl, we were able to bowl about 5 games in that time and probably could have done more but we moved on to the arcade. We were in town visiting and looking for something fun to do with our family. We opted to grab food and drinks first before playing games. We were a party of 11 and everyone loved their food. The Mac and Cheese with pulled pork is a must! Just make sure you ask for BBQ sauce. The grilled chicken on the Ceaser salad was super moist too. We all had drinks and jello shots too. Skip the mules and order an espresso martini. The service was great! After dinner we moved onto axe throwing. Unfortunately, our board was not keeping score correctly. After a bit we asked for help. The man working the area explained the board sensors weren't worrying right because they was debris on the board. He fixed it but didn't give us more time, which was frustrating. Our board was really bad and nothing was sticking. We've been axe throwing a lot, so I know the axe should have stuck more than it did. The board are digital so it's really easy to keep score and there are different games to play. If the board had been working properly, it would have been more fun.
