Another fun birthday party for our family. The prices are a little steeper this year, but the fun was even better! I do think the value for the food/drink/ desserts is great. We had a party room for 2 hours. and the passes worked for 90 minutes so it was a good balance and forced the kids to stop and eat! I do enjoy the buffet, I think it gets better year after year. We went for the Verse Immersive Trick or Treat holograph haunted house. experience. The preview of it online is NOT what it is like. It looked very scary but it was not at all. The advertisement of it is very misleading. The lights are left on so you can see the room you are in and the room it is in is not sound proof so you can hear all the noise from the games outside. It costs $29.99 for a single ticket. The experience ( which was actually a game) lasted about 20 minutes or so. There was only 2 of us and it says it can hold up to 9 at a time. Wow that would have been way too crowded. It did come with the buffet which was not made clear when we purchased the tickets online. The buffet was good but since we didn't know it was part of the ticket price we had already eaten. Still there was a large variety. read more

I had never been here before and went for a child's birthday party. This place was a lot of fun and really cool. There is so much to do for the kids with fun rides, go karts, VR, laser tag, and arcade games. This place literally has everything. Then to top it off a buffet with the most amount of food choices! I'm always skeptical when it comes to a buffet but honestly this one hits, it had so many good options with good food. I even tried a slice of the mac and cheese pizza and that was good! An icee machine, so many pizza choices, a dessert bar, salad bar, pasta bar. I mean choices were endless. This is where our youngest son chose his birthday party. From the initial contact to the day of the party, I had nothing but great things to say about the employees that helped schedule everything. We opted for the second package that was $35 per person for a party of eight. I feel it was a little pricey because let's be honest the food is not amazing. If you have a bunch of 12-year-olds the food will get the job done. Lots of varieties on foods so the pickiest eaters should be able to find something to eat I feel like. We had one of their party rooms that was set up nicely for his party as well. From what I can tell, walking around most of the games worked properly and the lines moved quickly for go karts and laser tag. I don't think this is something I would do frequently , but for something different especially for a birthday party I recommended. read more

Im 13 and I personally LOVE this place. I don't care if I sound like a kid, but I love when I'm invited here for friend's birthdays. Their food is amazing and also comes with the tickets, so its basically an unlimited buffet! The rides are probably my favorite, mostly because of how they are actual rides unlike some other places. Their piano tile and spinning game is my favorite because of how easy it is to get tickets, and I like to play air hockey with my friends when I don't feel like playing arcade games. The atmosphere is hard to describe but pretty fun and chill, and I like the theme they have with their mascot. The staff members are nice and helpful, and they always explain things with amazing detail. I gave it 4 stars though just because I don't think its like 100/10 or whatever, but it is probably one of my favorite places in omaha. If you have a birthday at any age, totally try it!! We try to take the kids here once or twice a year. The kids enjoy the variety of activities here. There are token games, video games, rides, and other attractions. There are many classic arcade games, such as Skeeball, claw machines, and the game where you try to push tokens over the ledge. There are numerous video games, such as Halo, Walking Dead, Mario Kart, etc. The place also has a lot of pop culture games, such as Deal or No Deal, Connect Four, and Crossy Road. There are also several rides available that appeal more to children (Go Karts, Bumper Cars, Frog Hopper, and Mission Vortex). There is also a VR simulator (Hologate) and Lazer Tag, which are not available in packages and purchased separately. There is also a buffet with salad bar, pizza, taco bar, assorted other offerings, and dessert, ducks, ice cream, slushes, etc. The food is alright, about as expected for this type of place. It's good enough to get your fill but nothing you'll crave. Pricing is a bit expense, but pretty much on par with other local arcades. You can usually find deals, such as Wacky Wednesdays, where many of the games are half price. You can also job the VIP club for discounted a admission packages any time. One thing to note: Anybody entering must purchase play points/time or a buffet, so if you are taking kids, plan on the extra expense. This is a fun spot for the kiddos. It's surprisingly clean considering all of the little ones running around. There's lots of games and some rides to keep them entertained. The buffet is a nice touch, although not the best food and not the worst food. Kids enjoyed eating, playing, eating, dessert and grabbing drinks whilst there. Good spot for when it's cold, hot or rainy, since it's all indoors. I also like that tickets are all digitally loaded on the cards, no paper tickets to lug around. We went just for the Buffett to try it out. The price is very reasonable as we paid around $14/adult. This includes everything but the alcohol drinks which could be purchased at a specific point inside the Buffett area. They have coffee, yea, Pepsi products and milk to drink otherwise. The salad bar was subpar as was the pasta area. They only had one side open for the pizza section which I feel limited the variety a bit. They had a small specialty area and nacho bar. The dessert bar looked amazing but wasn't being tended to so the dessert pizzas were old and dried. The cookie selection was picked through as well. They had bread pudding and cherry cobbler it looked like but they were in pre-scooped dishes so they weren't even warm. You seat yourself so there isn't much interaction when it comes to staff. Those working to restock the Buffett had no customer service. If you're behind the pizza station and you're restocking, interact with your customers. Ask how their day was, heck ask them if they've tried one of your new or most popular games yet that day. That May entice them to go check it out and purchase gaming credits. Instead, they scurry out, slap extra slices on the displayed trays and disappear. They don't even rotate the old pizza out! The busser we had was attentive and cleared plates quickly. Celebrated my sons 5th birthday here No reservations just came in with 7 adults and 2 kids. Was a little nervous because of the mix reviews wasn't sure what to expect but I'm glad we came. Buffet is $11 a person, food wasn't terrible good enough for the price and the fun that comes with it. They have different packages you get a little more if you shop online. Great packages with unlimited rides and games. We end up getting the kids the $29.99 package and it was so worth it. This place was a lot more than I expected, they also have go karts (we didn't get to ride but sure will next visit). We did the virtual reality and the staff constantly sanitize the equipment and it was a lot of fun. Mac n Cheese. Bad. Baked potato. Cold & bad. How do you mess up a baked potato? You make yourself after all you did was bake, the potato ? The pop, also bad. It's pop?! Too much carbonation, not enough syrup? Just bad. The only edible thing is the chocolate brownies with powdered sugar and the cinnamon & sugar chips on the desert bar. (And the slushy according to my child) Games. Fun for little kids. Rides like the one that use to be outside Kmart & Walmart. Bigger rides like the frog hopper, go karts, a tilt-a-whirl type deal and more. Ticket games are a bit stingy. They need to give out more tickets because the "prizes" are expensive & a little kid without an adult helping is leaving with some plastic crap they are going to choke on and or break before you get out of the car at home. Not a lot for older kids stuff. Video game type, skeetball, some shooting and 3D virtual games that looked cool. Staff was a very helpful & friendly. Kudos to all of you. Most were very young & patient & wonderful. Give them a raise instead of serving that gross food. Took my 3 year old nephew and 7 year old niece. My nephew rode the go karts with his dad first thing when we got there. You see, my husband, his uncle is a racecar driver. His dad is a drift car driver and race car driver. This kid lives and breathes racing. Now also something I must mention. Minimum height is 48" to ride. My nephew is exactly 48". First go kart operator- no problem. My nephew loved it. We went and ate and were going back for more go karts. My nephew was denied by the boy running the second time. What you don't know is that we were going there because his parents were going to book a party here for him! You lost all of our business and will not be back. The go kart operator was extremely unprofessional. And had zero customer service. We talked to the manager and basically nothing happened. She told us that he's right on the line so he can ride. But understands why the second guy didn't let him. But he's tall enough and nothing was done to tell them we could ride. Basically nothing. The customer service is non existent. Through a comedy of errors, their ride was late, and the staff made sure the boys were safe until their transportation arrived. Took the family here twice in the last 90 days. First visit was to check the place out for two hours with a group of seven. The buffet was clean and had lots of choices for kids and adults alike. Then the arcade blew us away. They have laser tag, virtual reality, dodge em cars and even an indoor go cart track! We were the best grandparents ever!!! Our second visit was far a birthday. We got a party room to ourselves to use as a base, kids hit the buffet and came back to base. After eating, they went through the other room door which opened to the game room itself. Everything was fine until we went to the go karts and the older man working it was pretty snippy to the large group in front of me. The girl I nanny is not tall enough to ride alone, so I simply asked nicely if I would need a game card as well to drive her. He looked me up and down and rudely said "yep and you have to be over 16." To which I responded that I am 21 and he said, "Well you look super young." My first visit to the Pizza Machine was a pleasant experience. The parking lot was a bit beat up and there were no major parties being held so we had the main eating room to ourselves. The food selection is not bad besides the obvious pizza choices. The tables and chairs were cleaned. It took a while before someone came by to pick up used plates and cups, probably since it was pretty scarce and not a priority. The games were fun, but some were broken and most of the good ones are 6+ points. Bumper cars 12 points and go carts 20 points! Unfortunately the 6 of us only accumulated 160 tickets which wasn't enough for a 25 cent stuffed animal (1400 point)! We got invisible ink and a dog toy lol So the entertainment lasted about 90 minutes then to the buffet. The buffet at 7pm on a Friday was not bad. Pizza, pasta, salad and dessert. However the quality of pizza dough and ice cream was on the cheaper side. Not bad if you got a big group of kids so it makes sense. Wish I would have been an investor for this one because this place has to make a killing. read more

Completely disappointed with this place. Half of the games did not work properly, complete choas and no employees walking around to make sure things are working. The biggest let down was the go-karts. We measured my daughters height to the sign when we walked in and she was just at the line, you wait in line for 45 minutes to get to the front of the line and the one guy measured her and said she is right at the line she should be fine. This other guy comes over and grabs a piece of paper and puts it on her head as the front edge of the paper bends downward he says nope she can't ride. We had our son's 4th Birthday at AMP. I was super impressed with the entire experience! Our party was for about 20 people, and the staff at AMP set us up in a dining room with two other parties. But we didn't feel like we were with two other parties! They had used partitions to separate the groups, and we had PLENTY of room for everyone to spread out. In addition to the seating, they also set up a cake table with a card, balloon, and a prize bucket. We reserved our room for two hours, and when our two hours came to an end, we took presents out to the car and moved our belongings to one of the open-seating rooms. The buffet had plenty to keep the kids and adults happy - traditional and non-traditional pizzas, various kinds of pasta, fried items, and an extensive salad bar. My only request is that I wish they had lids for the cups for little ones - minor in comparison to the rest of the day. The staff was very attentive to our table the entire time. I cannot explain how much fun everyone had on the rides and in the games. We chose the 120-minute card package, and the staff at AMP did a wonderful job explaining the system so we had the best time. My son got to spend the wheel three times, and the young lady working at the wheel made sure he got the best spin each time. Checking out at the prize counter felt a little chaotic to me, but the staff did not hurry us in making our selection and never seemed flustered. Our group included ages from 4 to 64, and everyone agreed it was the best birthday party they had been to in years. We live in Omaha and had never visited AMP prior, and our family is all from out of state and they were so impressed. We never felt short on time or rushed to do everything we wanted to do. My husband and I decided to take our kiddos here for an early birthday present since Chuck E Cheese had such bad reviews. I'm not sure how I feel about it, we will probably check out family fun center next time. When we were walking in there was a line of adults smoking right next to the entry doors. This frustrated me, obviously kids will be walking in and out, go smoke elsewhere. When we got to the counter to pay the cashier wasn't much help at all. If we had questions she would just push the paper with information on it at us instead of explaining it to us. There was a decent amount of things to do and games to play. Having a two and four year old I appreciated the area specifically for younger kids. It was kind of annoying because there were preteens running around the play area meant for younger kids and getting way to roudy, the parents did nothing. There was a spinning ride that was actually better than I thought it would be, it did scare my four year old though. My kids really wanted to do the bowling but there was only two lanes and there were always a bunch of people there so we didn't get a chance. They had an area that you could build your own stuffed animal which is pretty cool. The food was okay. Slushies were good. The chicken bacon ranch pizza I had was surprisingly very tasty! Nice quality chicken and bacon with a tasty ranch sauce. The plain cheese pizza was gross, the sauce tasted horrible and cheap. I didn't eat anything else because there wasn't much variety in my opinion. Nasty looking salad bar items and a taco bar with only nacho cheese, chips and taco shells. There was a pasta bar with mostly empty sauce containers and dry pasta. The people in the line at the buffet acted like they've never been in public a day before in their life. Adults were cutting in front of people and acting like pigs. This turned me off big time. I left hungry because the hassle just wasn't worth it. I was surprised at the options available for the games as I saw games here Dave and Busters did not have. My son and I purchased an unlimited ride and play card for 90 mins. I've never seen a kid move from game to game so fast. The buffett is not bad like other reviewers say even though we got here about 2 hours after opening and it was included in our unlimited play card. It also has any drink you can think of including ICEE for the kiddos. Other amenities include a bowling alley (an arcade version), a place similar to build a bear, and a laser tag arena. The reason for the low rating was their ridiculous military discount policy!! My fiance described this place as "Chuckie Cheese on steroids" ... and that is pretty accurate!!!! Tons of games and rides for the kids. The only thing that disappointed me was the buffett... it doesn't seem like they are using valentinos pizza anymore and if they are... SHAME on valentinos for going downhill. This place is a little $$$$. Also, I wasn't too impressed with the military discount. They stated that the discount was only for active duty military... Umm... So RETIRED military that gave 20-30 years of their life to protect the USA are not provided a discount ($5 card). Took the grandkids here for a the littlest one's 4th bday. Good food....and lot's of it. We went on a weekday, so there were no lines for games or rides....lots of these also. As with all amusement establishments, to make sure you get your money's worth, plan to stay a while so the children can experience all the games and rides. The only thing I noticed that I did not care for was a lady spraying a bottle of chemical cleaner directly on the nozzles of the soda machine. I appreciate a clean place, but I would rather not drink cleaning solution. 4 stars because....and this is important: Nearly none of the rides (go carts, bumper cars, etc.) can be safely utilized by children the size of a 4 years-old or younger. We did not know this in advance, and the girl selling us the package did not mention this even though she put a wristband right on the 4 year-old. We went to ride after ride with the little one watching everybody else have fun while he just stood there. First of all so many of the negative reviews on here focus on the food. Well no surprise the food is not the number one attraction here. But I think there's more value for the money here than at a place like Valentino's. For our family we spent a few more bucks here than we would at a place like Val's, we all ate and got to play games for an hour. Good deal in my book. So no surprise the pizza is not that great. But they actually have a pretty decent salad bar. Everything was clean, well stocked and fairly fresh. That's actually more than I can say about my last trip to Val's! So the food is what it is... you don't come here for the food! I was worried that having small children 5 and 2,,, that there would not anything to interest them here. That was not the case there is even plenty to do for small children. The game area is busy but I found it to be clean and felt confident in my children's safety. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. So take this place for what it is, and as an adult... it's not for you! It's for the kids, and my kids... LOVED it! read more

From the guy that greeted us at the register-he went over everything and was extremely nice, to the girl at the prize counter (extremely patient and fun with my very indecisive 9 year old haha), to the guy running the go karts, to the others running the rides-all really really nice! My first time being there with a party of 6. We arrive there around 2:30 everything was going well. My son birthday was that day July 2 2022 on a Saturday. Buffet was ok and the area was well maintain, as far as cleaning goes. Left to go to the racing cart after eating at the buffet and that's when the problem started. Stood in line for about 20 mins and the side where passengers ride was moving fairly quick but on the side where we stood for just the driver was moving slow. So I started to observe the situation and the young lady allowed some on the passenger side to be in a cart by themselves adult or just a child. So I was fine with that because it wasn't many on the passengers side. So I waited another 10 mins still haven't made it to the front yet. So only 1 couple was on that side and she was letting one couple go around the track when the one passengers line was still full. So I went over to her to allow at least my son and others if they could couple up or just my son because it was his birthday, She told us she couldn't, after seeing her allowing a group of people together more than once ride and most of the cars only an adult or a child rode by themselves. her excuse was because they were all family. I look at her and I said we are all family as well and no one is on this side but one adult and his daughter and you are going to leave the other cars vacant. She said its policy and I know she had just lied because she allow single people and kids to be in a kart by themselves. she told us we will have to get back over in the line on the side for single and we can't get our place back in line. Just for my son and his birthday I did and didn't cause a scene. But I'm reporting this because it was unfair and totally wrong. we spent almost 200 dollars that day and it was ruined by her. I'm a big kid at heart, and I am not lying whe I say The Amazing Pizza Machine is one of my favorite places in Omaha. Do I go for the food? No, of course not. Its a buffet inside of a giant arcade. Obviously the food isn't going to be winning any prizes any time soon. But for what it is (pizza, hot dogs, baked potatoes, etc), it still isn't bad. We always "splurge" for the package pricing for the kiddos. Just the buffets for us. On average, my family of four spends a little under $100. But we usually stay for hours, and everyone has a blast. It gets busy on Saturdays, and the lines for the go-karts gets insane. That is pretty much my biggest complaint. The dining areas get busy, but we've never had an issue finding a clean table nor with selection on the buffet. The kids just love the place. They do everything, from Mario Kart races to air hockey to the go-karts. It is one of those places that we only visit once or twice a year, but each visit has been amazing and my kids always keep talking about it until we visit again! Update - 10/12/2017 So, we've continued to frequent Pizza Machine as a family. Simply due to cost, it is a 2-3 time a year kind of thing, but we always have such a great time. Seriously - this is a great place to make family memories. In January, we celebrated my daughter's 13th birthday. Bought a party package and all that jazz. We had a less than perfect experience. I reached out to management in the days that followed and guys - I had the best customer service experience OF MY LIFE. They took my concerns seriously. Listened to every one of my complaints (as asinine as they might have been, since I wrote the letter while I was still heated) - took the time to write out a beautiful response, and overall just made me feel valued as a customer. That is HUGE in this day and age. They wouldn't have missed my business had I sworn them off forever. But they still took the time answer me, and make everything right. Amazing business.
