I've been to Ashland Brewing a couple times in the past couple months and I've had good experiences all around. The employees are always fast and nice. The inside is a really cool place to grab some drinks and food. It definitely gets busy but they usually have parking available somewhere. The first time we went, it was really hot out and we decided to sit at the bar which borders both the outdoor area and the inside. Needless to say, we picked the wrong place to sit because it was soooo hot. Not their fault, but we should have sat somewhere else. The second time we went we sat inside and was much more comfortable. The food and drinks have been really good both times we went. All in all, this is a really cool place and we'll definitely be going back in the future. read more

This place is cool! Amazing outdoor area. It includes yard games, pickle ball courts! There were a LOT of families out and about playing on the outdoor equipment. We decided to sit at the bar inside. It was so nice enjoying the summer air, but not being directly in the sun. My husband got this amazing appetizer protein 'board' for his meal. I got an ABC smash burger that was absolutely amazing. Their ranch...chef's kiss. I'm a HUGE ranch snob and I could just drink that shit. The woman who took care of us at the bar was awesome. She even gave my husband some great suggestions for his beer. (He had a pickle beer with Bloody Mary mix in it. Sounds gross to me but he LOVED it!) I'll definitely be back if we're in the area again. I'd like to bring my brother and his wife who live in Omaha. read more

Very cool new spot in Ashland! Visited on a Wednesday night for dinner. It was pretty busy busy! The rooftop patio was closed for an event which I was bummed about but it was actually pretty nice sitting inside. Our server (forgot her name) was very nice and helpful! We split the ABC Smashburger and All the Meats pizza so we could try both. The burger was pretty good! Nice and salty too. The pizza was fine. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of toppings. There were lots of outdoor activities too. Outdoor pickleball courts, another few under shade, cornhole, games...Overall though a great time! I'd love to come back to try more drinks and play pickleball. read more

Came for lunch today. Very solid 4 stars. Now that is based on food. For family fun probably 5 stars. Lots of outdoor games for kids and adults to do. Also indoor pickleball courts. I had the beer cheese smash burger. It was pretty tasty. My boys loved their chicken fingers. Will definitely be back when the lovely fall crisp air is here to stay read more

We stopped into Ashland Brewing Co after a bike race and I quite enjoyed their beer and food. One thing I found disappointing was that their full tap list and food menu wasn't available at their outside seating, which I couldn't quite understand. That being said, our wait was much shorter than the quoted time and I had really enjoyed my Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts, along with the full beer menu, once inside. read more

We were a little intimidated by the amount of cars in the parking lot but still plenty of parking and there was no wait so if you feel the same pulling in or passing by still stop in. There was no wait to be seated and food was served in a timely manner. Restaurant is very clean and opened to the outside. Staff very friendly. The food was great we split the hot honey chicken sandwich which was a big piece of chicken the honey was delicious, not spicy hot but still good. The slaw wasn't traditional and served soaking like most other places, very crisp. The pinsas a Roman style pizza was very filling. We got the spicy chicken garlic which to me tasted more buffalo chicken and less garlic to me, also not a bad thing as I love buffalo chicken. But overall great building, great staff, and great food, great prices. I will definitely be back to try some of their beers and drinks and other menu items. Highly recommend and well worth the drive out of the city to check it out! read more

I will start by saying I have no thoughts on the fun activities they l offer here, Pickleball in particular. It looks fun but I was here for the food and the beer. There is still work to be done on the quality of beer here, nothing bad necessarily, it's just not quite there yet. I withheld doing a review after our first visit here which was just after they opened. Now they have it together. I was a bit surprised to still see a pumpkin beer in early February. The rest of the selections, which you can see in my picture, offer a good variety. You will certainly find something to your liking. So let's get to the food. We each ordered the ABC Smashburger. It comes with fries or, for a dollar extra, another side dish. I had to try the jalapeño rings, which were not too hot. They were just right! They came out hot temperature-wise and fresh with a nice, tasty sauce on the side. As for the Smashburger, it was out of this world! You get two patties, not just one of high-quality beef. Where else? You're in Nebraska! The patties were hot and fresh with a little pink on the inside. The service was outstanding, mostly due to our waitress Nicole. She was absolutely friendly, smiling everywhere, and she had very good suggestions for beer and things like the jalapeño peppers. read more

Very cool addition to the Ashland area! They have a huge parking lot but the place is always busy when I dribe by. The space is huge, with indoor/outdoor pickleball courts and corn hole boards. Indoor and outdoor seating as well as a second floor patio. We didn't eat, but enjoyed a sampling of their beers, and they were solid. Service was a bit slow at the bar but friendly. Will definitely visit again when I am in the area! read more

Ashland Brewing was a great place for a Casual meal. While staying in the area we went for dinner and were seated promptly and our server came right over. I got the Blue Cheese Smashburger and it was delicious. The vibe was fun with the pickleball courts outside that can be reserved. Fun place for burgers and drinks! read more

Beautiful place in a great location! There are tons of outdoor seating options, and all of the activities they offer looked like so much fun. We're definitely excited to come back when the weather is nicer and fully enjoy everything. The food was good overall, I ordered the steak Bao Bun Tacos and thought they had good flavor, loved the fries. We were slightly disappointed with the service. Our server seemed to disappear quite a bit, and we found ourselves needing to flag down other staff members for help or questions. That said, the atmosphere alone makes it worth another visit, and we're looking forward to giving it another try! read more

They are close, this place could be awesome..but they have a long way to go. Food is average, service is average. Venue is awesome. Get a manager that knows the business. That's passionate. Yah it sucks to pay that salary but they would be rewarded 10 fold. Good luck !! read more

A few things about this venue it's a pretty cool place and very neat concept but the way they have their entry and hostess station was done completely wrong. It's not welcoming. It's very clustered and they should've reconsidered how they set that up and maybe they still can second of all the food is just mid. There's no consistency. The food is not hot. I've ordered the same thing several times and it is completely different. The cocktails are way overpriced. I get it's a large skill venue, but you're gonna need to correct these changes if you want people to come back? The beer was great so if your beer drinker, it's perfect for you. I think the Pickleball is overpriced for the outdoor location when it's dead and nobody's playing it also, when you have items on the menu and there's the ingredients and you keep forgetting to put the ingredients on items. It's just very unprofessional and looks bad on the Training. especially when you have one cocktail on your menu with egg white foam and you get it with nothing and watched her make it. Also, the trashcan nachos need to go. It's not too hard to make really good nachos and I have to say with these suck layer it with cheese and all the ingredients. The presentation was cool, but it didn't work because they flopped I will say we had a burger and the burger was good. That's about it. read more

I am I love with this new Brewery! The place is gorgeous and has two big pickleball courts out front, lots of tvs to watch games, and the open windows so you can see the brewery from the dining room! Wait staff were quick and knowledgeable about the beer menu. I liked my meal okay the buffalo cauliflower was just a little cold but it wasn't super mushy which I have found at a lot of other places. My partner had the peanut butter burger which I didn't get a picture of but I snuck a bit and will for sure get that next time! read more

Popular destination taproom just off I-80 near tourist areas like Mahoney State Park, SAC Museum and Platte State Park. Ample parking, big outdoor patio with lots of shaded seating. Many indoor and outdoor pickleball courts. Beers brewed on site and a full menu. Friendly and attentive waitstaff. Food was ok and we appreciated when a pizza was greasier than we'd like the owner stopped by and made things right. A newer spot in Ashland we hope they continue to do well! read more

Yes, yes--I know it's new. That's actually why we waited a bit before checking it out. And disclaimer: I don't like beer, but I was still really excited for this spot to open because of the massive space and all the amenities. We waited about an hour for food, which we expected given the recent opening. In the meantime, we hung out upstairs at the bar. Unfortunately, they were out of three drinks my husband wanted, which was a letdown. I was happy to see Glacial Till cider available (shoutout to them!), but they had just run out of the sour I wanted to try next. I appreciated that they had a cocktail menu, but it would be great to see it expanded to better serve a broader crowd. When our table was ready, we headed downstairs--important note: the upstairs bar and downstairs restaurant operate separately. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment, especially after the long wait. The nachos were dry and bland (we had to ask for ranch just to add flavor), and the burger was politely... nothing special. That said, the place itself is impressive--tons of space, pickleball, bags, Jenga, and more. We checked out the pickleball courts, but $40/hour felt a bit steep. Overall, I want to be fair: it's new, and growing pains are normal. We'll definitely give it another shot down the road. I just hope to see more attention to the food and a more inclusive drink menu next time. read more

Stopped by the new brewery after Eugene Mahoney on a Sunday. We were hoping to get food but the kitchen was closed so only had drinks. It is a beautiful space with a lot of activities for the whole family, corn hole, pickle ball, jenga, connecting 4, etc. It was very crowded but we were sat right away. We ordered two diff IPAs which were good. My fav beer is a West Coast IPA which they had. Not a lot of places in the Midwest have that so I was excited. I hope to come back and be a le to try their food. A fun place to come with friends or with your kiss to enjoy some good beers and have some fun. read more

We started off with the Green Patio vibes for drinks. Light but delicious. We got the sweet loaded tots for an appetizer. The portion sizes are definitely worth the price. They are huge. These were sweet and salty. A unique find on a menu but would absolutely order again. We never thought about sweet loaded tots and decided we will try to replicate this at home. Before our meals came we ordered another drink. We ordered the $$$ in the banana stand and Helles . I love craft beers but sometimes when they come out a dark brown I'm unsure if I will like it or not. The $$$ in the banana stand tasted lighter than it looked and had the perfect subtle banana taste. My brother got the Helles and enjoyed it as well. For our meals we got the Steak Bao Buns and the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich. We split our meals so that we could try both. Both were absolutely delicious. We both agreed we would come back and order the exact thing we did today. The waitresses were working hard. You saw them constantly on the move. We were impressed with the service and the overall experience. They were pretty busy with the Husker Men's basketball game on the TVs, but they were doing a great job keeping up. If you are thinking about trying it, just do it. read more

First off the ambiance was fantastic, the place is absolutely massive. Multiple floors, pickle ball courts, a nice turf area, you name it. The beers I had were aight. I got "The Sandy" and "Swing Pickle Pickle." They are just average nothing to write home about. I also got the Hot Honey Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The portion size was just very small, it tasted ok. Lastly the service was great, the bartender was a good chat. Overall it was aight, 3 Stars. read more

I visited Ashland Brewing for the first time recently and am glad I visited. Just outside Ashland and not far off the interstate, the brewery is located less than 5 miles off the I-80 exit for Ashland and central between Omaha and Lincoln. The parking lot isn't huge for the crowds this pace can draw, though there may be some street parking available nearby. With both indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, you and friends can play in any weather. I definitely recommend reserving online in advance, as the pickleball is popular and books up fast. You can bring your own equipment or rent balls and paddles. The place itself is large, with an outdoor downstairs patio along the courts, a downstairs indoor dining area, an upstairs dining area, and an upstairs deck. Even with all of the space, this place gets very busy so make reservations if possible! While you can't get food at the downstairs outside patio, you can get drinks there while you wait. I sat upstairs at the bar, which had a nice view of hills and trees and felt very park-like. The beers are good and they had a great variety when I visited, with something for every taste. If you can't decide like I couldn't, they do flights of tasters, where you can order as many tasters as you want, served on a plate, and you pay per taster. I ordered the pickle beer, dark Mexican lager, and an amber. I loved the pickle beer as I thought it had the perfect balance of refreshing, pickle, and saltiness. Perfect for the summer and while playing pickleball! Everyone enjoyed their food as well, and we ordered a variety of items. To start, we ordered the platter of fried buffalo cauliflower and cheese curds. Both were delicious, and I like the ranch they were served with. For my entree, I ordered the smoked salmon sliders. They are served as cold sandwiches which is nice for the summer. The smoked salmon was good as a patty, and I liked that with the crunchy slaw it was topped with to contrast the textures. While the waits can be long, I enjoyed my time here and would definitely make reservations in advance in the future of wanting to sit at a table or reserve a court. This is a fun place with a group of playing pickleball and eating or drinking, or just eating and drinking! It's great having a fun new brewery nearby! read more

We visited last night and absolutely loved it! Olivia and Jess were our bartenders, and they were fantastic. Even though the place was very busy, we still received excellent service throughout our visit. We ordered the sweet potato puffs and a smash burger with fries, and everything was delicious. We also tried several beers, including the IPAs and a pineapple beer. We're pretty picky when it comes to beer, but these exceeded our expectations. First time here and I thought this was a really clean and fun place. They have room in the restaurant and a place to play/watch pickleball. We had a couple of beers and cocktails and each one was delicious. My favorite was the Patio beer. It was super light and refreshing. We did not have food this time, but would love to in the future! Went a second time and it was way better. Burgers were so good I also had some of their sweet potato puffs and I really enjoyed them. They did run out of a lot of items though so I was sad I didn't get to try the buffalo dip. Our waitress was great but one of the bar tenders seem not so welcoming. I waited at the bar to order for a good bit. I get they were busy but I even ordered and it took so long I had to ask another waitress who originally did ask me if I needed to order but since I already did I didn't want her to get all mixed up. The original lady seemed like she was taking over everything and maybe it was too much for her to remember who was first. Also if they opened the patio for food service maybe they wouldn't have people walk out. I get it's busy sometimes and maybe their kitchen can't handle it. People had left after almost two hours of waiting. Maybe even allow appetizers on the outdoor tables would hold people over. It's a big place and I don't think they anticipated their kitchen being as busy as it is on nice weekends. Kitchen can't handle the size of space they have when it's full. read more

I've been wanting to stop here for a drink and see the new venue. I reserved a racquetball court very easily for our boys before we arrived. I didn't even think about needing to make a restaurant reservation for Sunday lunch. We were quoted 30 minute wait but only ended up waiting 20 minutes. Our party of 6 say at one of the big top tables right next to the entrance to the kitchen. Our server grabbed our drinks and food orders, but then we barely saw her. I won't make that mistake again! The restaurant was busy, but I noticed food going out to tables that appeared to be for customers that were seated after us. We waited over 30 minutes before we tracked down our server and asked for a status. I watched them grab a pizza that had been sitting under the heat lamp for over 15 minutes (yes I was timing because I was curious) , and I had to wait even longer for my salad. We ended up sending the pizza back beside it was luke warm, and we received our appetizer the same time as our food. All of this was handled by the floor manager because we never saw our server after asking the status of our food. The food experience was lackluster, but the racquetball court experience was great. Overall, good food (minus horrible service and timing) but willing to try again. read more

I've been here twice now, and I've loved the food, the beer, and the conversations here. First time I met a few friends and hung out, but the second time I went with my family while we all played pickle ball. Reserving Pickleball courts is easy online, but I highly recommend making a reservation for Sundays as needed. We only had a 20 minute wait for a table inside since it was a warm day, but, I can see why people make reservations in advance. I enjoyed my wings, and everyone seemed to enjoy everything else that they ordered. I will say our server was not the most attentive as we had to track her down for refills, and we did wait over 30 minutes for our food sadly. We wanted a cool place to hangout on a hot Sunday afternoon in July but found every door/window open making the dinning room on the verge of being uncomfortable. There was live music on the patio but having the doors open for that was not worth the warm temps it created inside. First time visitor and LOVED this place! Amazing ambiance with so much to do from pickle ball (you have to book a court) to free corn hole and other yard games. Indoor and outdoor seating (per weather, obviously.) They have a second story as well with an additional bar. I had their ABC smash melt with fries and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My mom couldn't stop raving about their homemade ranch (hey chef, let's bottle it and sell it!)
