We visited last night and absolutely loved it! Olivia and Jess were our bartenders, and they were fantastic. Even though the place was very busy, we still received excellent service throughout our visit. We ordered the sweet potato puffs and a smash burger with fries, and everything was delicious. We also tried several beers, including the IPAs and a pineapple beer. We're pretty picky when it comes to beer, but these exceeded our expectations. What really stood out was that the owner stopped by our table to check on us and make sure everything was going well. That personal touch made the experience even better. This place is cool! Amazing outdoor area. It includes yard games, pickle ball courts! There were a LOT of families out and about playing on the outdoor equipment. We decided to sit at the bar inside. It was so nice enjoying the summer air, but not being directly in the sun. My husband got this amazing appetizer protein 'board' for his meal. I got an ABC smash burger that was absolutely amazing. Their ranch...chef's kiss. I'm a HUGE ranch snob and I could just drink that shit. The woman who took care of us at the bar was awesome. She even gave my husband some great suggestions for his beer. (He had a pickle beer with Bloody Mary mix in it. Sounds gross to me but he LOVED it!) I'll definitely be back if we're in the area again. Very cool new spot in Ashland! Visited on a Wednesday night for dinner. It was pretty busy busy! The rooftop patio was closed for an event which I was bummed about but it was actually pretty nice sitting inside. Our server (forgot her name) was very nice and helpful! We split the ABC Smashburger and All the Meats pizza so we could try both. The burger was pretty good! Nice and salty too. The pizza was fine. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of toppings. There were lots of outdoor activities too. Outdoor pickleball courts, another few under shade, cornhole, games...Overall though a great time! Beautiful place in a great location! There are tons of outdoor seating options, and all of the activities they offer looked like so much fun. We're definitely excited to come back when the weather is nicer and fully enjoy everything. The food was good overall, I ordered the steak Bao Bun Tacos and thought they had good flavor, loved the fries. We were slightly disappointed with the service. Our server seemed to disappear quite a bit, and we found ourselves needing to flag down other staff members for help or questions. Very cool addition to the Ashland area! They have a huge parking lot but the place is always busy when I dribe by. The space is huge, with indoor/outdoor pickleball courts and corn hole boards. Indoor and outdoor seating as well as a second floor patio. We didn't eat, but enjoyed a sampling of their beers, and they were solid. Service was a bit slow at the bar but friendly. I will start by saying I have no thoughts on the fun activities they l offer here, Pickleball in particular. It looks fun but I was here for the food and the beer. There is still work to be done on the quality of beer here, nothing bad necessarily, it's just not quite there yet. I withheld doing a review after our first visit here which was just after they opened. Now they have it together. I was a bit surprised to still see a pumpkin beer in early February. The rest of the selections, which you can see in my picture, offer a good variety. You will certainly find something to your liking. So let's get to the food. We each ordered the ABC Smashburger. It comes with fries or, for a dollar extra, another side dish. I had to try the jalapeño rings, which were not too hot. They were just right! They came out hot temperature-wise and fresh with a nice, tasty sauce on the side. As for the Smashburger, it was out of this world! You get two patties, not just one of high-quality beef. Where else? You're in Nebraska! The patties were hot and fresh with a little pink on the inside. The service was outstanding, mostly due to our waitress Nicole. She was absolutely friendly, smiling everywhere, and she had very good suggestions for beer and things like the jalapeño peppers. read more

Popular destination taproom just off I-80 near tourist areas like Mahoney State Park, SAC Museum and Platte State Park. Ample parking, big outdoor patio with lots of shaded seating. Many indoor and outdoor pickleball courts. Beers brewed on site and a full menu. Friendly and attentive waitstaff. I am I love with this new Brewery! The place is gorgeous and has two big pickleball courts out front, lots of tvs to watch games, and the open windows so you can see the brewery from the dining room! Wait staff were quick and knowledgeable about the beer menu. I liked my meal okay the buffalo cauliflower was just a little cold but it wasn't super mushy which I have found at a lot of other places. My partner had the peanut butter burger which I didn't get a picture of but I snuck a bit and will for sure get that next time! read more

We started off with the Green Patio vibes for drinks. Light but delicious. We got the sweet loaded tots for an appetizer. The portion sizes are definitely worth the price. They are huge. These were sweet and salty. A unique find on a menu but would absolutely order again. We never thought about sweet loaded tots and decided we will try to replicate this at home. Before our meals came we ordered another drink. We ordered the $$$ in the banana stand and Helles . I love craft beers but sometimes when they come out a dark brown I'm unsure if I will like it or not. The $$$ in the banana stand tasted lighter than it looked and had the perfect subtle banana taste. My brother got the Helles and enjoyed it as well. For our meals we got the Steak Bao Buns and the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich. We split our meals so that we could try both. Both were absolutely delicious. We both agreed we would come back and order the exact thing we did today. The waitresses were working hard. You saw them constantly on the move. We were impressed with the service and the overall experience. They were pretty busy with the Husker Men's basketball game on the TVs, but they were doing a great job keeping up. Yes, yes--I know it's new. That's actually why we waited a bit before checking it out. And disclaimer: I don't like beer, but I was still really excited for this spot to open because of the massive space and all the amenities. We waited about an hour for food, which we expected given the recent opening. In the meantime, we hung out upstairs at the bar. Unfortunately, they were out of three drinks my husband wanted, which was a letdown. I was happy to see Glacial Till cider available (shoutout to them!), but they had just run out of the sour I wanted to try next. I appreciated that they had a cocktail menu, but it would be great to see it expanded to better serve a broader crowd. When our table was ready, we headed downstairs--important note: the upstairs bar and downstairs restaurant operate separately. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment, especially after the long wait. The nachos were dry and bland (we had to ask for ranch just to add flavor), and the burger was politely... nothing special. That said, the place itself is impressive--tons of space, pickleball, bags, Jenga, and more. We checked out the pickleball courts, but $40/hour felt a bit steep. Overall, I want to be fair: it's new, and growing pains are normal. We'll definitely give it another shot down the road. Stopped by the new brewery after Eugene Mahoney on a Sunday. We were hoping to get food but the kitchen was closed so only had drinks. It is a beautiful space with a lot of activities for the whole family, corn hole, pickle ball, jenga, connecting 4, etc. It was very crowded but we were sat right away. We ordered two diff IPAs which were good. My fav beer is a West Coast IPA which they had. Not a lot of places in the Midwest have that so I was excited. I visited Ashland Brewing for the first time recently and am glad I visited. Just outside Ashland and not far off the interstate, the brewery is located less than 5 miles off the I-80 exit for Ashland and central between Omaha and Lincoln. The parking lot isn't huge for the crowds this pace can draw, though there may be some street parking available nearby. With both indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, you and friends can play in any weather. I definitely recommend reserving online in advance, as the pickleball is popular and books up fast. You can bring your own equipment or rent balls and paddles. The place itself is large, with an outdoor downstairs patio along the courts, a downstairs indoor dining area, an upstairs dining area, and an upstairs deck. Even with all of the space, this place gets very busy so make reservations if possible! While you can't get food at the downstairs outside patio, you can get drinks there while you wait. I sat upstairs at the bar, which had a nice view of hills and trees and felt very park-like. The beers are good and they had a great variety when I visited, with something for every taste. If you can't decide like I couldn't, they do flights of tasters, where you can order as many tasters as you want, served on a plate, and you pay per taster. I ordered the pickle beer, dark Mexican lager, and an amber. I loved the pickle beer as I thought it had the perfect balance of refreshing, pickle, and saltiness. Perfect for the summer and while playing pickleball! Everyone enjoyed their food as well, and we ordered a variety of items. To start, we ordered the platter of fried buffalo cauliflower and cheese curds. Both were delicious, and I like the ranch they were served with. For my entree, I ordered the smoked salmon sliders. They are served as cold sandwiches which is nice for the summer. The smoked salmon was good as a patty, and I liked that with the crunchy slaw it was topped with to contrast the textures. While the waits can be long, I enjoyed my time here and would definitely make reservations in advance in the future of wanting to sit at a table or reserve a court. This is a fun place with a group of playing pickleball and eating or drinking, or just eating and drinking! It's great having a fun new brewery nearby! read more

First time visitor and LOVED this place! Amazing ambiance with so much to do from pickle ball (you have to book a court) to free corn hole and other yard games. Indoor and outdoor seating (per weather, obviously.) They have a second story as well with an additional bar. My mother and I each had a cocktail which were both yummy and nicely garnished while the hubby and my dad had West coast IPA's. We all got a late lunch and the food was also fantastic. I had their ABC smash melt with fries and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My mom couldn't stop raving about their homemade ranch (hey chef, let's bottle it and sell it!) They did run out of a lot of items though so I was sad I didn't get to try the buffalo dip. Our waitress was great but one of the bar tenders seem not so welcoming. I get they were busy but I even ordered and it took so long I had to ask another waitress who originally did ask me if I needed to order but since I already did I didn't want her to get all mixed up. The original lady seemed like she was taking over everything and maybe it was too much for her to remember who was first. Also if they opened the patio for food service maybe they wouldn't have people walk out. I get it's busy sometimes and maybe their kitchen can't handle it. People had left after almost two hours of waiting. Maybe even allow appetizers on the outdoor tables would hold people over. I've been wanting to stop here for a drink and see the new venue. I reserved a racquetball court very easily for our boys before we arrived. I didn't even think about needing to make a restaurant reservation for Sunday lunch. We were quoted 30 minute wait but only ended up waiting 20 minutes. Our party of 6 say at one of the big top tables right next to the entrance to the kitchen. Our server grabbed our drinks and food orders, but then we barely saw her. I won't make that mistake again! The restaurant was busy, but I noticed food going out to tables that appeared to be for customers that were seated after us. We waited over 30 minutes before we tracked down our server and asked for a status. I watched them grab a pizza that had been sitting under the heat lamp for over 15 minutes (yes I was timing because I was curious) , and I had to wait even longer for my salad. We ended up sending the pizza back beside it was luke warm, and we received our appetizer the same time as our food. All of this was handled by the floor manager because we never saw our server after asking the status of our food. The food experience was lackluster, but the racquetball court experience was great. I've been here twice now, and I've loved the food, the beer, and the conversations here. First time I met a few friends and hung out, but the second time I went with my family while we all played pickle ball. Reserving Pickleball courts is easy online, but I highly recommend making a reservation for Sundays as needed. We only had a 20 minute wait for a table inside since it was a warm day, but, I can see why people make reservations in advance. I enjoyed my wings, and everyone seemed to enjoy everything else that they ordered. I will say our server was not the most attentive as we had to track her down for refills, and we did wait over 30 minutes for our food sadly. Friend and I went on a Thursday night and were definitely "wowed" by the cool layout and atmosphere of the place. Two floors with lots of different places to sit inside and out. We were greeted quickly and since it was our first time here (and it was hot out) we opted for the main first floor dining area. We started with beers (of course!). I had a ABC Hazy IPA and it was absolutely solid with a good kick to it. My friend tried the ABC Kolsch and found it to be fine. Food: the KC BBQ Smash Burger is excellent. I don't think I've had anything like it. Friend had their Salmon Slider. He was surprised it was served cold, but he said it didn't take away from the good flavor. Both dishes very satisfying. After waiting 45 minutes for a table, we placed our order--appetizers were spot on. But an hour and 15 minutes later, we still hadn't received our food. Meanwhile, the owner was walking around picking up trash, but didn't check on a single table--including ours. It felt like he was disengaged, especially for opening 2 weeks ago--when you'd expect a bit more presence. We really hope they get things smoothed out soon, because there's real potential here. read more
