The Aksarben (bacon and jam) with fries

I finally made it over to Hyde's Slydes after hearing so many great recommendations. There is definitely truth to all the hype: Theses burgers are incredible! They offer hand made patties with a variety of toppings to choose from, or one of their specialty burgers, chicken sandwiches or loaded baked potatoes as well. I went with their bacon and jam cheeseburger which was absolutely delicious. And don't skip out of these fries either: Super crispy and full of that perfect crunch in every bite. Highly recommend stoping by for a delicious meal no matter what you order!

SOOO YUMMY!! I kept seeing this place on social media and finally got to try it and was NOT disappointed! The hype is so worth it. I got the lancer burger and WOW was it delicious. The smash burger was cooked perfectly and was tender and juicy. All of the toppings were great and on top of that, the fries were also great. Perfectly crispy and additive. These are the kind of fries you cannot stop even when you're already stuffed. Service was great too! This is a must try!

Second time at Hydes Slydes, we've also had food from their food truck at several festivals. Nice location in the middle of town, open dining room with lots of seating options. Fries were great, crispy and loaded with sauce. Burger was moist and was on a soft bun. Great experience. The owner even brought our food out to us and checked on how everything was. We'll be back! Going to try a wrap next time.

This place was highly recommended. I'm not so sure why. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The staff didn't seem to be very interested. The food was good enough, but I unfortunately don't think I would ever go back. It did seem to be clean and taken care of.

Saw a tiktok on the unique fries here and ran to try them. I got the French dip fries and they were yummy! Well seasoned fries topped with mac and cheese and Philly cheesesteak style beef. I'd have taken it just as a Mac and cheese bowl as well. I'll for sure be back to try a burger or another kind of fry. I can tell whatever I get here would be delicious.

I'm giving Hydes Slydes 5 stars because our food was delicious. However, getting to the point where we actually got to try the food was a journey! We went in one day and placed an order, and when we went to pay we were told it was going to be over an hour wait for the food, so we left. Then we tried to order online and when we went to pay were told the store was closed at 6:30pm. We went in-person that same night and placed our order to-go and sat down to wait. After waiting for about 25 minutes and the larger party behind us (and only other party in the restaurant) already getting their food, the cashier asked for my name again, and they realized they skipped our order. The cashier put two packs of extra fries in our bag for the inconvenience, which I appreciated! Our meals were GREAT. I had the Aksarben Burger. The blue cheese was delicious, but I do wish the strawberry aioli had a more prominent fruit flavor. My husband also loved his burger. We split the french dip mac and cheese fries, which was a HUGE portion, and they were sooo good. We are excited to come back and try more items!

Snoop wrap. Skip on the peppers. Very good.

I love trying unique places and this certainly fits the bill. Hyde's is tucked in a small little plaza. If you didn't know it was there, you would totally miss it. While they seem to be know for their burgers, we went with a wrap. The snoop has crispy chicken, bacon jam, waffles pieces and peppers. It was everything I'd want from a breakfast wrap...minus the peppers. It was $11 and comes with fries. For $5 more you can supe you fries...which we went with the banh mi. A ton going on here, but really the highlight was the steak and fries. Totally worth it and huge portions. I added a drink for $2. I love that they are Coke products. All and all, I think this place has real potential. Can't wait to try the burgers next time!

The staff was very friendly. The restaurant could use a bit more decor/ambiance (and maybe not leave laundry bags out on the dining room floor) but I won't hold a few inconsequential details against them. Burgers were good. Better than fast food by far but not so good I'd write home about it.... a little dry, TBH. But I'd come here again. Fries were great. But I'm a sucker for a battered fry. Something to consider would be a "specialty" house sauce that could be offered to guests when they order. Something to dip the fries in or put on the burger... something akin to sauce you get at In-N-Out.

In the mood for a really great burger? This is the place to go. The name did throw me - I was expecting sliders but once I realized it was full sized burgers I was in. I had the Lancer burger at their recommendation - it is their best seller for a reason. My husband had the Heat Burger plus smothered fries and raved about both of them. Only downside was that the floor was slippery and dirty as if it had grease residue in the mop water. So we will be back, but might stick to drive through next time!

The Box- French Dip Mac & Cheese Fries, Surf N Turf Fries and a special of the day- cowboy candy jalapeños and special sauce w/ beef-

Food was so good, special of the day was amazing and would love if they the sold the sauce and candied jalapeños!!!! Fries stayed crispy with all the sauce, cheese and meat. Just did the fry box but no doubt the hamburgers would be amazing too! If close highly recommended Staff very friendly.

My sister told me about this place and now whenever my friend Ty and I hang out we have to stop at Hyde's to get a bite to eat. Food is always amazing!!! Nick is so nice and let me hang my art in the restaurant to sell. I love a place that shows how much they care about their community!!

I've heard great things about this all burger food truck so I've been excited to try it - missed them a few times at other locations or events. Today they were the food truck at the new indoor Farmer's Market at NE Brewing Co. A friend and I decided to meet up and since it was lunchtime, we didn't have to find an alternate place to eat before or after. We just looked around, ordered our food and ate there. I opted for the Rosenblatt which is pretty traditional with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle and onions. My friend got the Ranch Bowl which had bacon and pepperjack cheese. Each came with a side of fries and we were both pleased with our meals. Well cooked and tasty! Can't wait to try them again sometime when they're at my workplace or in the neighborhood.

We stopped by Hyde's Slydes Burgers & Fries NEW location out West, and weren't disappointed!! We asked what they would recommend and were told that The Lancer was a favorite so of course we said hellll yes please! Lemme tell you... the taste was phenomenal, with that spice of the pepper jack cheese, sweet BBQ sauce, crunchy bacon, and that ranch patty! Very well balanced and cooked to perfection. We usually split our entrees so they sent it out cut in half for us; a detail that didn't go unnoticed! We upgraded and indulged on their Surf N Turf fries... which includes steak (just a tad too salty for me) and SHRIMPSSSS! The shrimp had ZERO DOO-DOO and I was sooo happy to see that! I'm telling ya, it matters! Smothered in a garlic cream and cheese that had a bit of a kick to it! I'm a ween with spice that equals heat, but it wasn't overpowering at all. A nice break in flavor for sure. Served on a tray - no plate! - which is perfect for the side; there's a LOT of fries to be eaten! If you're out West or find you need a little road trip, swing by Hyde's! Their drive thru opens next week but their atmosphere inside is just as welcoming. They'd GREATLY appreciate the support!

Honestly, we weren't that... impressed, but we gave it a valiant go on both meals chosen! Kinda bummed there wasn't a drink menu with cocktails, but they had a great selection of wine ranging from $100-$500 a bottle. So, we stuck with water. Bread and creamy butter was dropped off while we waited and who can't resist a warm roll? Got the Trail Boss Prime Rib, with salad bar, and baked potato side was requested as medium. The au ju lacked flavor, and only lasted a few bites before not used at all. The baked potato was delish though! Prime rib was very tender, a lot of cap which was nice, but it was just sorta.. average. I snagged their Teriyaki Tenderloin Kabob on a bed of wild rice, salad bar, and asparagus side (probably the first restaurant I've seen that's offered asparagus as an actual side), requested well done. By all accounts it does look a bit charred, but when the veggies were pulled apart, they were warm and tender and paired well with the teriyaki and rice. That rice was delish! Asparagus didn't blow any air up my skirt unfortunately, because I really wanted it to blow my mind. I felt like we left a lot of food on our plates, but that could've just been how it was. We just felt... underwhelmed and wasn't picking up on all the hype.

My wife and I both ordered the Everett's #2 with pulled chicken, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. Everything just worked together perfectly. The chicken was tender, the slaw added the right crunch, and the bun tied it all together. It was one of those sandwiches where after the first bite you just look at each other and know you made the right choice. We also ordered the Saucy Rossy wings and they were the perfect heat level for both of us. Not so mild that they're boring and not so hot that you're suffering. Pro tip: get them fried and grilled. The extra texture and flavor are absolutely worth it. My wife is a total Brussels sprouts snob and she was absolutely in love with theirs. The funny part is that I'm usually not much of a Brussels sprouts person, but I kept asking for more off her plate. That alone should tell you how good they were. The fries were okay. Nothing that stole the show, but nothing to complain about either. The service wasn't the best during our visit, but they also had a 30-person table they were dealing with, so it was completely understandable. Even with that, the food was so good that it's already a top 3 meal for my wife. We'll definitely be thinking about those sandwiches, wings, and Brussels sprouts until we're back, and I don't think that'll take very long.

I noticed a lot of newer eateries and businesses in Aksarben since the last time I was there, so hopefully some of them stick around a while. Anyhoo, on to Crispy Burger! First off, the interior is bright and colorful, with a lot of orange, red, and then an accent wall of black and white geometric shapes. It's a super welcoming vibe! One thing that's kind of weird is that the building (and Yelp and Google) says Crispy Chicken, but all the wrappers and signs say "Crispy Burger" which was confusing. The smells inside when you walk in make your mouth water, so get ready to over order if it's your first time here (we definitely did!) They have a LOT of fried things, like fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken, etc. So this definitely is not an every day place if you are looking for health food. We ordered the cheese sticks to start and they were enormous. Definitely shareable between a few people, as each cheese stick is like an appetizer in itself! I ordered the nuggets and fries, and they were really well breaded and pretty large. You can choose from about 1500 sauces for dipping (ok, maybe more like ten, but that's still a lot!) The fries were great too, that come as a side in your box. My husband had the bone in chicken wings combo, and he was very pleased with his choice. Gigantic wings, with fries, a biscuit, and mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. Now is Crispy Burger fine dining or somewhere you'd go on a date night? Definitely not. The nuggets reminded me of a similar fast food location with the Golden Arches logo. I honestly didn't mind because these had more flavor and seasonings within; same consistency of chicken within though. I can see myself coming back here to try some of their boba and rolled ice cream!

Our server was very nice and quick to get us both our beverage orders out, as well as my child's kid meal prioritized before the rest of our meals. We did have a hiccup with her forgetting to put in one of the meals initially, she owned up to this and was apologetic, and pushed it out for us after the rest of us had our food. It did take a few more minutes but it seemed to come out with an extra slider. Food was overall good. Most of us ordered wings, and I will say they were very big and meaty, high quality wings. We got hot and spicy garlic for sauces. The hot was good, classic, with a nice kick. My issue with the spicy garlic is that it wasn't spicy at all, more or less salty, and pretty dry. I'm not sure if this was a mishap or if perhaps our server (who was also new) put in the wrong sauce for us, but spicy garlic is my go to sauce for wings and this wasn't it. The fries were shoestring and good, a side order was a lot to share. We did the boom boom sauce on the side with fries, it is a good dipper but I would not want that on my wings, so we made the right choice there. Kids burger was also pretty good sized and the burger was juicy. Ambiance is fun, garage themed. They also have several alcoholic dessert shakes if in the mood for that.
