Went to taps and trucks and got my food from the food truck for the first time here today. I ordered a side of coleslaw, which was pretty good and 4/5 stars. And also ordered the EL Cuban combo. See my photo attached. I love Cuban sandwiches and upon reading its description, it sounded amazing, but I was disappointed. All the meat inside was not at all warm and so it was basically like eating a cold sandwich. The woman who took my order was nice, but I don't see myself coming back to be honest Other people in my party ordered from here as well and their pulled pork sandwich was also cold as well as their macaroni and cheese cold. I would understand if they're busy, but we were the only people that ordered from this food truck so definitely disappointing. read more

Pulled BBQ had some standouts and some disappointments. I went with a group and we decided that the best of the pulled meats is the pork. Then the chicken, and the brisket is last. The pulled beef was quite dry and didn't eat well. It had good flavor, but it just needed more moisture. The sides were hidden mess. I was disappointed in the macaroni and cheese. It says it has five cheeses in there, but it really doesn't taste that much like cheese. I tasted some seasonings, but overall it just didn't have the flavor. I was hoping for. It tasted a bit bland. Maybe some salt? I liked the barbecue chips. They had an interesting texture that was crispy, but not crunchy. Almost like they had been baked or air fried instead? Either way they were good but not great. The fried okra was good, not too greasy. The star side dish for me was the coleslaw. The veg was crunchy and fresh, the slaw was well-seasoned, and slightly sweet, and the sauce wasn't too creamy. Everything I look for in a coleslaw. The service was attentive and friendly. It's not a huge place, but it's comfortable. The prices were fair: not cheap but not exorbitant. For two adults and a child. it was $50 to dine in. I will definitely come back, but next time I'll know what to order. read more

We FINALLY went to Pulled BBQ Saturday, and holy moley, we're glad we did! It was rib day apparently, and we scored the LAST rack of them. I'm picky about my pork, but these babies were fall off the bone, and dunkable in their killer choices of sauces at their sauce bar. They even added two single ribs to the order, just because the staff is that amazing! As much as I wanted to finish the entirety of them, know that any left overs, heat right back up with an air fryer. They're just as good! Lemme tell you about their ridiculously delish 5 cheese creamy mac. Oh it was just so rich, creamy, and the pasta type mattered. Their choice (shells) was SPOT ON. Fairly certain my response to the first bite was, "oh this is heaven". T can attest! Next time, I'm getting several containers of this. I HIGHLY recommend! Their special of the week was the Smoked Cream Cheese (eeekkk!) and Bacon Chicken Wrap... sweet baby Jesus was it good. I can appreciate the different textures in the wrap. It's got crunchy (I swear they're Fritos), smooth, salty, sweet, chewy, and warmth. If Cory reads this, MAKE IT PERMANENT on the menu! We got a side of their coleslaw, and the base that they use is just right. Love it when it's not watery, and theirs is not! It pairs wonderfully with the BBQ. Got a chicken and beef taco, fattie burrito, and beans for delivery. I found all the meat to be very dry and honestly kind of hard to chew. It was begging for some barbecue sauce. They didn't include any in my order which I don't know if that is the norm or they forgot but it really took away from the whole experience. Everything was just okay. It's not something I would go out of my way to get but it wasn't terrible. I think there is better actual barbecue places in Omaha to get your fix. read more

I thought this was a regular bbq restaurant, but it turned out to be more of a sandwich shop. I ordered the Omaha Fatty Burrito with pulled brisket and added cheese sauce. It was an impressive size, but had more Mac and cheese than brisket. It was ok but I wouldn't order again. My wife enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw. They had a limited but good beer selection and the staff was pleasant. Facility was not impressive. We were looking forward to outside seating but ate inside as the outside was basically a parking lot with weathered, dingy looking tables. read more

I was so excited to try Pulled BBQ. Pulled pork is my favorite dish in barbecue, so I already love the concept of all different types of pulled meat. We started with a flight of the eggrolls, they came with pulled pork, chicken, and beef. Those are definitely a must try it. For my entrée, I ordered the pulled pork and mac & cheese, and a side of sweet potato tots that came with a marshmallow dipping sauce. My husband ordered the Omaha fatty. It was huge and loaded with flavor. It wasn't too busy on a Wednesday night and, however, I think that needs to change. I first heard about Pulled BBQ on the Restaurant Hoppin podcast and I love Cory's mindset and his constant crazy but epic ideas. Although I haven't been to the restaurant yet, the food truck has been wonderful. Pulled BBQ Omaha is at UNMC every Wednesday, and the menu and options have been great. Definitely recommend the OINK-aroni with the Sweet Sticky Sassy Hot or the Nebraska Red, however, I'm sure everything on their menu is delicious. Meat is super tender and flavorful, and I love all the sauce options. I'm not sure of the gentleman's name that runs the food truck, but he is always helpful and pleasant and has great suggestions on what to try. We stopped by on a whim since we were in the area shopping. The staff was great and gave recommendations and made sure we knew of some recipe changes with one item we ordered. I had the 2 slider lunch (pork) with beans. I could have ordered a bigger serving of the beans and just had that, they were so good! The sliders I thought were fantastic - the buns had just enough crunch on the inside so give a great flavor and contrast to the texture of the meat. They have a sauce bar as well, so you can get whatever you want. (I tried the Sweet, Sassy, and Nebraska Red - all were good.) They have outdoor seating and the inside reminds me more of a garage with the metal stools. (No complaints!) Very clean too. I definitely recommend! read more

We tried out Pulled BBQ after seeing a recommendation on another site. It was a great choice! The menu is simple, but it all sounded great! I picked the Mac and cheese, added the pulled pork and topped with "sweet sticky and sassy" bbq sauce. They had a good selection of meat and sauces. If you dine in or carry out, they have a sauce bar so you can try any of them you want! The restaurant is small, but not crammed with too many tables. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. Went for the first time and it will not be my last. Our group started with a large amount of appetizers. We ordered the sweet potato tots, plain fries, fries with pulled pork, fries with pulled beef and the mac and cheese balls. All we're very good except the mac and cheese balls were overdone and slightly burnt. Between all of us we had chicken, pork and beef sandwiches. All we're very tasty, juicy and loaded with meat. We also had a order of the regular mac and cheese. Everyone liked it, but it was nothing spectacular like the rest of the food. All of their sauces are very good in their own way, but the meat is so good that you may not even want to use any. A little bit expensive, but definitely worth the price. It was clean, the employees very friendly and the food was great. We will be back to try more of the menu items. read more

First time last night. Ordered online and it was ready before I got there. I had the oink and the wife had the fattie burrito. We had baked beans and sweet potato tots. Everything was very good. The atmosphere and background music are like a classic BBQ place but this is NOT a real BBQ restaurant. If you are looking for brisket and ribs, they do NOT serve either. There are only five main courses. Sammich, meat fries, fattie burrito, cheesy Mac and meat, quesadilla. The only meats available are pork, chicken or "beef." Those three meats are the easiest to cook, yet all three were dry on my sammich. There was no smoky BBQ flavor to the meat at all. The beans were really bland and required mixing in BBQ sauce to give them any sort of flavor. The only saving grace here was their variety of sauces. So it's pretty much a sandwich/burrito/quesadilla place that happens to offer a variety of BBQ sauces. They should really change their name. read more

Tried the macaroni balls, the amount of whatever meat is in them was miniscule and I would love to know what "cheese" they use in them as there was zero cheese flavor, just cooked pasta flavor bleh. They were not enjoyable to eat. Also got the pulled chicken gyro, again no flavor (the tzatziki sauce was pretty good but couldn't save it) the chicken was very difficult to eat as it was very dry. Issues with service as well in that we were overcharged somehow and given a gift card in exchange for it. Little did we know at the time we would not be returning. OMG! We were on our way from the airport to our son's home and wanted to find a restaurant on the way. The 5 star review got my attention in addition to being just a few minutes from rt 80. We are so glad we found this little gem. At the suggestion of the manager who was an absolute delight (as were the other staff who checked in with us several times), we both had the Thee Omaha Fattie Burrito. I'm not one for having different Entrée in one wrap but I thought what the heck, why not? We are so glad we did. They were beyond delicious and huge! We were all very disappointed. the meats seemed ok, and I must say the french fries were really good. The mac and cheese was dry, not at all creamy, they had fried mac and cheese balls, they were equally bad. Sauces were ok, but nothing spectacular. The prices seemed a little high for what you got. My husband and I were looking for a place to go for snacks and a drink in Rockbrook. I called Pulled BBQ to see what they had for white wine, they just happened to have my fav Sauv B and that settled it. We were headed to Pulled. When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly gentleman behind the register. I asked if the fries were gluten free and he told me they were not. I asked if that meant shared fryer or what? At that point another gentleman (found out later it was the owner Cory) stepped in and let me know they actually have some gluten in the breading used on the fries. He could tell I was disappointed and told me they have gluten free buns, etc. I let him know we just wanted a snack, not a meal. He was really trying to make me happy and then said he could make me the special (nachos with pulled meat) but just have the kitchen cut up some of their corn tortillas and fry them to make mine with corn chips. He went above and beyond and I appreciated it. The nachos with pulled beef were amazing! The chips were crisp and covered with the perfect amount of yummy queso, pulled beef, and pick de gallo. We also tried a side of BBQ beans and my husband declared them the best he'd had at any restaurant. We really enjoyed the food and hospitality provided by Cory and his team. We were in Omaha shopping for Black Friday and wanted a BBQ place to eat. The wife decided on trying thePulled BBQ because it was close to the shop we were at. When we showed up there wasn't much activity going on in the shopping center. We went inside and we were greeted by a very nice hostess. She told us to sit down and she would bring us menus to look at. We got our drinks and ordered an appetizer. She came back in a few minutes to ask if we wanted to order our main meal. Order went in and are appetizer showed up. It was a great start to an absolute knockout barbecue meal. This BBQ is one of the BEST in Omaha.
